A survey of 170 Australian species of Cyperaceae belonging to 35 genera has confirmed that this family has a highly characteristic flavonoid pattern in leaf and inflorescence. Aurone pigments, the most distinctive family constituents, were found in the leaves of 25% of the sample and in the inflorescences of 40%. Sulphuretin was found for the first time in the family, in Carex appressa. Flavones, such as tricin and luteolin, are very common; in addition, a variety of methyl ethers were detected. Luteolin 5-methyl ether was found in further genera, while luteolin 7-methyl ether, diosmetin and acacetin were detected for the first time in the Cyperaceae. Flavonols and their methyl ethers occurred in over one-third of the species, particularly in the leaves, being especially well represented in the genera Fuirena, Gahnia, Lepidosperma and Mesomelaena. Myricetin was found only twice, in two Baumea species. The 3-desoxyanthocyanidin carexidin was found in the inflorescences of eight species, i.e. in 5% of the sample. Taxonomically, the results are mainly of interest at the generic and specific level, where the patterns sometimes show useful correlations with morphology. At the tribal level, the Sclerieae are the most distinctive, with higher than average frequency of flavone C-glycosides, flavonols, proanthocyanidins and aurones, and lower than average frequency of flavones.  相似文献

Eleven flavonoids including three new glycosides were isolated from Brickellia chlorolepis and one new and nine known flavonoids were obtained from B. dentata. The new glycosides from B. chlorolepis are 6-methoxykaempferol 3-rhamnoglucoside, spinacetin 3-rhamnogalactoside and veronicafolin 3-rhamnoglucoside. The known compounds identified from B. chlorolepis are patuletin, casticin, artemetin, eupatolitin 3-galactoside, quercetin 3-rhamnogalactoside, rutin, isorhamnetin 3-galactoside and eupatin 3-SO3Ca12. B. dentata contains the new glycoside eupalitin 3-galactoside and nine known compounds: pectolinarigenin, salvigenin, eupafolin, cirsiliol, eupatorin, eupatolitin, eupatolitin 3-glucoside, eupatolitin 3-galactoside and eupatin.  相似文献

Seven new diarylheptanoids, i.e., (3S,5S)-3,5-diacetoxy-1,7-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)heptane, (3R,5S)-3-acetoxy-5-hydroxy-1,7-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)heptane, (3R,5S)-3,5-dihydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-7-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)heptane, (5S)-5-acetoxy-1,7-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)heptan-3-one, 5-hydroxy-1-(3,4-dihydroxy-5-methoxyphenyl)-7-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)heptan-3-one, 5-hydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-7-(3,4-dihydroxy-5-methoxy-phenyl)heptan-3-one and 1,5-epoxy-3-hydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-7-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)heptane were isolated from the rhizomes of Chinese ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), along with 25 known compounds, i.e., 8 diarylheptanoids, 14 gingerol analogs, a diterpene and 2 steroids. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic and chemical methods.  相似文献

Endophytes are described as microorganisms that colonize the internal tissues of healthy plants without causing any disease. Endophytes isolated from medicinal plants have been attracting considerable attention due to their high biodiversity and their predicted potential to produce a plethora of novel compounds. In this study, an attempt was made to isolate endophytes from rhizomes of five medicinal plants of Zingiberaceae family, and to screen the endophytes for L-asparaginase activity. In total, 50 endophytes (14 bacteria, 22 actinomycetes, and 14 fungi) were isolated from Alpinia galanga, Curcuma amada, Curcuma longa, Hedychium coronarium, and Zingiber officinale; of these, 31 endophytes evidenced positive for L-asparaginase production. All the L-asparaginase-positive isolates showed L-asparaginase activity in the range of 54.17–155.93 U/mL in unoptimized medium. An endophytic fungus isolated from Curcuma amada, identified as Talaromyces pinophilus, was used for further experiments involving studies on the effect of certain nutritional and nonnutritional factors on L-asparaginase production in submerged fermentation. Talaromyces pinophilus initially gave an enzyme activity of 108.95 U/mL, but gradually reduced to 80 U/mL due to strain degeneration. Perhaps this is the first report ever on the production of L-asparaginase from endophytes isolated from medicinal plants of Zingiberaceae family.  相似文献

A survey of the flavonoids of some 92 species of Australian Cyperus, mainly of subtropical or tropical origin, has confirmed a correlation previously reported in this family between flavonoid pattern and plant geography. The pattern found was similar to that of African and South American Cyperaceae, particularly in the occurrence of the rare marker substance, luteolin 5-methyl ether. Tricin and luteolin are relatively common, in glycosidic form, in the leaves while the flavonol quercetin is infrequent. When present, quercetin occurs either in glycosidic form or free as a methyl ether. The 3-monomethyl and 3, 7-dimethyl ethers of kaempferol and quercetin and the 3, 7, ?-trimethyl ether of quercetin are reported for the first time from the Cyperaceae. The flavonoid pattern of inflorescences is distinct from that of the leaves in that tricin is not detectable and that luteolin 5-methyl ether appears to be replaced by 7, 3′, 4′-trihydroxyflavone. In addition, the aurone aureusidin is more commonly present than in the leaves and is occasionally accompanied by two further aurones. The glycoxanthones mangiferin and isomangiferin occur rarely in all three species examined in the section Haspani, i.e. in C. haspan, C. prolifer and C. tenuispica. In general, however, the flavonoid data do not offer any markers which separate off different sections within the genus; there are, however, some significant correlations between the frequency of the flavonoid classes and subgeneric groupings.  相似文献

Seven compounds, including three labdane diterpenes (1, 4, 6), one bisnorlabdane diterpene (2), one steroid (3), one sesquiterpene (5) and one kawalactone (7) were isolated from the rhizomes of Amomum uliginosum J.Koenig. Compounds 14, 6 and 7 were firstly isolated from the genus Amomum. This work represented the first phytochemical study on this plant. Kaempferol and quercetin 3-O-glycosides were found in the closely related species, Parthenium hysterophorus, P. bipinnatifidum and P. glomeratum; the major aglycone flavonols in P. hypterophorus are quercetagetin 3,7-dimethyl ether and a new flavonoid, 6-hydroxykaempferol 3,7-dimethyl ether. The North-South American species-pair P. glomeratum (Argentina) and P. bipinnatifidum (Mexico) yielded quercetagetin 3,7,3′-trimethyl ether as the major aglycone. The desert species P. rollinsianum yielded five methylated flavonols: quercetin 3,3′-dimethyl ether, penduletin, quercetagetin 3,6,7-trimethyl ether, polycladin and artemetin.  相似文献

The family Osmundaceae is among the most primitive ferns of the Filicales, with an extensive fossil record dating back to the Late Paleozoic. Numerous fossil osmundaceous rhizomes have been documented in the geological history. However, the diversity, variation and distribution pattern of permineralized rhizomes remain poorly known. Here we intend to analyze the fossil records with regard to the diversity and distribution pattern of the osmundaceous rhizomes based on available data. To date, about 83 species ascribed to 14 genera of fossil osmundaceous rhizomes have been described worldwide, assigned to two subfamilies, namely, Thamnopteroideae and Osmundoideae. Geologically, two groups (i.e., Thamnopteroideae and Palaeosmunda) have been reported in the Permian. All the Triassic taxa are from the southern hemisphere. Jurassic osmundaceous rhizomes are abundant and widespread throughout the world, most dominant in the southern hemisphere. During the transition of Jurassic to Cretaceous, the diversity of osmundaceous rhizomes declined rapidly. In the Cretaceous, however, the osmundaceous rhizomes from the northern hemisphere surpass those from the southern hemisphere in generic level for the first time. The Cenozoic taxa diversified in the northern hemisphere with the rise of angiosperms. Geographically, the osmundaceous fossil rhizomes have been found in both hemispheres; the major localities include Ural area of the former USSR, Tasmania of Australia, southern Argentina, Antarctica, northern India, central and western part of North America and northern China. We discuss the origin, radiation, and development of the Osmundaceae based on rhizomes, to help further understand the systematic relation and evolutionary history of the family Osmundaceae.  相似文献

黄酮类化合物是蜂胶中最重要的组成成分和生物活性物质.本文对国内外从蜂胶中鉴定出的黄酮类化合物进行了分类总结,给出每种成分的中英文名称及化学名称,以避免同物异名或同名异物现象的出现.本文共列出黄酮类化合物135种,其中黄酮及黄酮醇类化合物46种,二氢黄酮及二氢黄酮醇类36种,异黄酮类11种,查耳酮和二氢查耳酮类17种,以及最近几年从蜂胶中鉴定出的新黄酮类似物25种.  相似文献
