在分析了心室纤颤信号和心动过速信号自相关性的基础上,运用自适应LMS算法。以误差信号能量作为特征值,成功地检测了心室纤颤信号,比仅依赖心率来判别心跳是否正常可靠性要高一些。通过对156个数据学习和三次判断,其心室纤颤信号识别率达到97.4%,心动过速信号识别率达到100%.  相似文献

To define the relationship between ischemia-reperfusion-induced myocardial damage (IRD) and the occurrence of ventricular tachycardia (VT) and fibrillation (VF), we studied 23 dogs with a three-dimensional activation mapping system. Left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery occlusion and reperfusion were performed while recording electrograms during VF and atrial pacing. Prior nonischemic sites showing IRD, defined as at least 10% loss of electrogram voltage after reperfusion, had the longest ventricular effective refractory periods (ERPs). IRD sites also occurred more frequently in dogs with reperfusion VF (44 +/- 2 sites, P < 0.01) compared with dogs with VT (18 +/- 5 sites) and no VT (16 +/- 3 sites). In dogs (n = 3) with 3 h of reperfusion, 95% of IRD sites still had lower voltage than those recorded during occlusion. Activation mapping of the first eight complexes of VF had Purkinje or endocardial focal origin in 57%, and complexes originated from IRD sites in 28%. In contrast, dogs with only reperfusion VT also had Purkinje or endocardial focal origin in 79%, but only 5% (P < 0.01 vs. VF dogs) of the sites of origin had IRD. Therefore, dogs with reperfusion VF had more IRD sites where the ERP was longest, and more focal ventricular complexes originated from IRD sites, indicating that IRD may be one important factor in the occurrence of VF during reperfusion.  相似文献

We previously reported that alpha(2)-adrenergic receptor (alpha(2)-AR) stimulation in Purkinje fibers in vitro prolongs action potential duration and suppresses beta-adrenergic-induced delayed afterdepolarizations and sustained triggered activities. We examined the effects of alpha(2)-AR stimulation on reperfusion-induced ventricular arrhythmias [ventricular tachycardia/ventricular fibrillation (VT/VF)] in vivo. Arterial blood pressure, heart rate, surface electrocardiogram, and renal sympathetic nerve activities were recorded simultaneously in Sprague-Dawley rats. The incidence of VT/VF was 87.5% for controls, 50% for the beta-blocker group, 72% for the alpha(1)-blocker group, and 12.5% for the alpha(1) + beta-blockers group (unopposed alpha(2)-adrenergic activation). Direct alpha(2)-AR stimulation with UK-14304 also prevented VT/VF. These effects were reversed by the alpha(2)-adrenergic antagonist yohimbine. Increases in renal sympathetic nerve activity were associated with left anterior descending coronary artery ligation and reperfusion (33 +/- 1.5 and 62 +/- 1.7% over baseline, respectively) in controls. Similar patterns were observed among all experimental groups irrespective of the incidence of VT/VF on reperfusion. We conclude that alpha(2)-AR stimulation has a potent antiarrhythmic effect on ischemia-reperfusion-induced VT/VF in vivo and that this effect is not centrally mediated.  相似文献

We tested the hypothesis that sildenafil, singly or in combination with nitric oxide (NO) donors, promotes ventricular tachycardia (VT) and ventricular fibrillation (VF). Vulnerability to VT/VF was tested by rapid pacing in eight isolated normal swine right ventricles (RV). The endocardial activation was optically mapped, and the dynamic action potential duration (APD) restitution curves were constructed with metal microelectrodes. At baseline, no VT/VF could be induced. Sildenafil (0.2 microg/ml) or NO donor singly or in combination did not alter VT/VF vulnerability. However, when 2 microg/ml sildenafil was combined with NO donors, the incidence of VT and VF rose significantly (P < 0.01). VT with a single periodic wavefront was induced in five of eight RVs, and VF with multiple wavefronts was induced in all eight RVs. The sildenafil-NO donor pro-VT/VF combination significantly increased the maximum slope of the APD restitution curve and the amplitude of the APD alternans. The pro-VT/VF effects of sildenafil were reversible after drug-free Tyrode solution perfusion. We conclude that a sildenafil (2 microg/ml) and NO donor combination increases VT/VF vulnerability in the normal RV by a mechanism compatible with the restitution hypothesis.  相似文献

Among the variety of cardiac arrhythmias, ventricular fibrillation (VF) and ventricular tachycardia (VT) are life-threatening; thus, accurate classification of these arrhythmias is a crucial task for cardiologists. Nevertheless, VT and VF signals are very similar in the time domain and accurate distinguishing these signals with naked eyes in some cases is impossible. In this paper, a novel self-similarity image-based scheme is introduced to classify the underlying information of VT, VF and normal electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. In this study, VT, VF and normal ECG signals are selected from CCU of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and MIT-BIH datasets. According to the time delay method, signal samples can be assigned to state variables and a trajectory can be achieved. To extract the proposed self-similarity feature, first, two different trajectories from each signal trial are drawn according to two different delay time values. The two-dimensional state space of each trial trajectory is considered as an image. Therefore, two trajectory images are produced for each signal. Number of visited pixels in the first image is determined and is subtracted from that of the second image as the self-similarity feature of that signal. Moreover, another scheme is proposed to have a better estimation of self-similarity in which the logical AND operator is applied to both images (matrices) of each ECG trial. The third proposed criterion is similar to box counting method by this difference that each pixel is assigned a weight according to the trajectory density at that point and finally visited weighted pixels are counted. To classify VF from VT and normal ECG, a threshold is determined through the cross validation phase under the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) criterion. To assess the proposed methods, the mentioned signals are classified using the-state-of-art chaotic features such as correlation dimension, the largest Lyapunov exponent and Approximate Entropy (ApEn). Experimental results indicate superiority of the proposed method in classifying the VT, VF and normal ECG signals compared to present traditional schemes. In addition, computational complexity of the introduced methods is very low and can be implemented in real-time applications.  相似文献

In the heart, membrane voltage (Vm) and intracellular Ca (Cai) are bidirectionally coupled, so that ionic membrane currents regulate Cai cycling and Cai affects ionic currents regulating action potential duration (APD). Although Cai reliably and consistently tracks Vm at normal heart rates, it is possible that at very rapid rates, sarcoplasmic reticulum Cai cycling may exhibit intrinsic dynamics. Non-voltage-gated Cai release might cause local alternations in APD and refractoriness that influence wavebreak during ventricular fibrillation (VF). In this study, we tested this hypothesis by examining the extent to which Cai is associated with Vm during VF. Cai transients were mapped optically in isolated arterially perfused swine right ventricles using the fluorescent dye rhod 2 AM while intracellular membrane potential was simultaneously recorded either locally with a microelectrode (5 preparations) or globally with the voltage-sensitive dye RH-237 (5 preparations). Mutual information (MI) is a quantitative statistical measure of the extent to which knowledge of one variable (Vm) predicts the value of a second variable (Cai). MI was high during pacing and ventricular tachycardia (VT; 1.13 +/- 0.21 and 1.69 +/- 0.18, respectively) but fell dramatically during VF (0.28 +/- 0.06, P < 0.001). Cai at sites 4-6 mm apart also showed decreased MI during VF (0.63 +/- 0.13) compared with pacing (1.59 +/- 0.34, P < 0.001) or VT (2.05 +/- 0.67, P < 0.001). Spatially, Cai waves usually bore no relationship to membrane depolarization waves during nonreentrant fractionated waves typical of VF, whereas they tracked each other closely during pacing and VT. The dominant frequencies of Vm and Cai signals analyzed by fast Fourier transform were similar during VT but differed significantly during VF. Cai is closely associated with Vm closely during pacing and VT but not during VF. These findings suggest that during VF, non-voltage-gated Cai release events occur and may influence wavebreak by altering Vm and APD locally.  相似文献

Diabetic heart is suggested to exhibit either increased or decreased resistance to ischemic injury. Ischemic preconditioning suppresses arrhythmias in the normal heart, whereas relatively little is known about its effects in the diseased myocardium. Our objective was to investigate whether development of diabetes mellitus modifies the susceptibility to ischemia-induced arrhythmias and affects preconditioning in the rat heart. Following 1 and 9 weeks of streptozotocin-induced (45 mg/kg, i.v.) diabetes, the hearts were Langendorff-perfused at constant pressure of 70 mm Hg and subjected to test ischemia induced by 30 min occlusion of the left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery. Preconditioning consisted of one cycle of 5 min ischemia and 10 min reperfusion, prior to test ischemia. Susceptibility to ischemia-induced arrhythmias was lower in 1-week diabetics: only 42 % of diabetic hearts exhibited ventricular tachycardia (VT) and 16 % had short episodes of ventricular fibrillation (VF) as compared to VT 100 % and VF 70 % (including sustained VF 36 %) in the non-diabetics (P<0.05). Development of the disease was associated with an increased incidence of VT (VT 92 %, not significantly different from non-diabetics) and longer total duration of VT and VF at 9-weeks, as compared to 1-week diabetics. Preconditioning effectively suppressed arrhythmias in the normal hearts (VT 33 %, VF 0 %). However, it did not provide any additional antiarrhythmic protection in the acute diabetes. On the other hand, in the preconditioned 9-weeks diabetic hearts, the incidence of arrhythmias tended to decrease (VT 50 %, transient VF 10 %) and their severity was reduced. Diabetic rat hearts are thus less susceptible to ischemia-induced arrhythmias in the acute phase of the disease. Development of diabetes attenuates increased ischemic tolerance, however, diabetic hearts in the chronic phase can benefit more from ischemic preconditioning, due to its persisting influence.  相似文献

In cardiac arrest due to ventricular fibrillation (VF), moderate hypothermia (MH, 33 degrees C) has been shown to improve defibrillation success compared with normothermia (NR, 37 degrees C) and severe hypothermia (SH, 30 degrees C). The underlying mechanisms remain unclear. We hypothesized that MH might prevent reentrant excitations rotating around functional obstacles (rotors) that are responsible for the genesis of VF. In two-dimensional Langendorff-perfused rabbit hearts prepared by cryoablation (n = 13), action potential signals were recorded by a high-resolution optical mapping system. During basic stimulation (2.5-5.0 Hz), MH and SH caused significant prolongation of action potential duration and significant reduction of conduction velocity. Wavelength was unchanged at MH, whereas it was shortened significantly at SH at higher stimulation frequencies (4.0-5.0 Hz). The duration of direct current stimulation-induced ventricular tachycardia (VT)/VF was reduced dramatically at MH compared with NR and SH. The spiral wave (SW) excitations documented during VT at NR were by and large organized, whereas those during VT/VF at MH and SH were characterized by disorganization with frequent breakup. Phase maps during VT/VF at MH showed a higher incidence of SW collision (mutual annihilation or exit from the anatomical boundaries), which caused a temporal disappearance of phase singularity points (PS-0), compared with that at NR and SH. There was an inverse relation between PS-0 period in the observation area and VT/VF duration. MH data points were located in a longer PS-0 period and a shorter VT/VF duration zone compared with SH. MH causes a modification of SW dynamics, leading to an increase in the chance of SW collision in favor of self-termination of VT/VF.  相似文献

Ventricular fibrillation (VF), the major cause of sudden cardiac death, is typically preceded by ventricular tachycardia (VT), but the mechanisms underlying the transition from VT to VF are poorly understood. Intracellular Ca(2+) overload occurs during rapid heart rates typical of VT and is also known to promote arrhythmias. We therefore studied the role of intracellular Ca(2+) dynamics in the transition from VT to VF, using a combined experimental and mathematical modeling approach. Our results show that 1) rapid pacing of rabbit ventricular myocytes at 35 degrees C led to increased intracellular Ca(2+) levels and complex patterns of action potential (AP) configuration and the intracellular Ca(2+) transients; 2) the complex patterns of the Ca(2+) transient arose directly from the dynamics of intracellular Ca(2+) cycling, and were not merely passive responses to beat-to-beat alterations in AP; 3) the complex Ca(2+) dynamics were simulated in a modified version of the Luo-Rudy (LR) ventricular action potential with improved intracellular Ca(2+) dynamics, and showed good agreement with the experimental findings in isolated myocytes; and 4) when incorporated into simulated two-dimensional cardiac tissue, this action potential model produced a form of spiral wave breakup from VT to a VF-like state in which intracellular Ca(2+) dynamics played a key role through its influence on Ca(2+)-sensitive membrane currents such as I(Ca), I(NaCa), and I(ns(Ca)). To the extent that spiral wave breakup is useful as a model for the transition from VT to VF, these findings suggest that intracellular Ca(2+) dynamics may play an important role in the destabilization of VT and its degeneration into VF.  相似文献

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Guinea pigs are used as models for study of ventricular tachyarrhythmias (VT); however, the tachyarrhythmia often is transient and does not persist. We developed an open-thorax guinea pig model of sustained ventricular fibrillation (VF). METHODS: Bilateral thoracotomy was performed on eight guinea pigs weighing 865 to 1,464 g, and two sutures were positioned in the right ventricular apex for the purpose of pacing. Two methods were used to induce VF: a 50-Hz burst (normal pacing), and an initial 15 beats at 70% of the R-R interval followed by a 100-Hz burst for 84 beats (rapid pacing). Fifteen attempts at inducing VF were performed by use of each method. Blood pressure was recorded before and after development of VF, which was defined as VT with mean blood pressure consistently <10 mm Hg. A final observation was obtained using the normal pacing method without defibrillation. RESULTS: Use of both methods successfully induced VF. A significant relationship between body weight >1,021 g and ability to sustain and survive VF was detected. CONCLUSION: The guinea pig is a useful rodent model for the study of VF and defibrillation.  相似文献

Despite decades of research, there are few effective ways to treat ventricular fibrillation (VF), ventricular tachycardia (VT), or cardiac ischemia that show a significant survival benefit. Our aim was to investigate the combined therapeutic effect of two common antiarrhythmic compounds, adenosine and lidocaine (AL), on mortality, arrhythmia frequency and duration, and infarct size in the rat model of regional ischemia. Sprague-Dawley rats (n = 49) were anesthetized with pentobarbital sodium (60 mg.ml(-1).kg(-1) i.p.) and instrumented for regional coronary occlusion (30 min) and reperfusion (120 min). Heart rate, blood pressure, and a lead II electrocardiogram were recorded. Intravenous pretreatment began 5 min before ischemia and extended throughout ischemia, terminating at the start of reperfusion. After 120 min, hearts were removed for infarct size measurement. Mortality occurred in 58% of saline controls (n = 12), 50% of adenosine only (305 microg.kg(-1).min(-1), n = 8), 0% in lidocaine only (608 microg.kg(-1).min(-1), n = 8), and 0% in AL at any dose (152, 305, or 407 microg.kg(-1).min(-1) adenosine plus 608 microg.kg(-1).min(-1) lidocaine, n = 7, 8, and 6). VT occurred in 100% of saline controls (18 +/- 9 episodes), 50% of adenosine-only (11 +/- 7 episodes), 83% of lidocaine-only (23 +/- 11 episodes), 60% of low-dose AL (2 +/- 1 episodes, P < 0.05), 57% of mid-dose AL (2 +/- 1 episodes, P < 0.05), and 67% of high-dose AL rats (6 +/- 3 episodes). VF occurred in 75% of saline controls (4 +/- 3 episodes), 100% of adenosine-only-treated rats (3 +/- 2 episodes), and 33% lidocaine-only-treated rats (2 +/- 1 episodes) of the rats tested. There was no deaths and no VF in the low- and mid-dose AL-treated rats during ischemia, and only one high-dose AL-treated rat experienced VF (25.5 sec). Infarct size was lower in all AL-treated rats but only reached significance with the mid-dose treatment (saline controls 61 +/- 5% vs. 38 +/- 6%, P < 0.05). We conclude that a constant infusion of a solution containing AL virtually abolished severe arrhythmias and prevented cardiac death in an in vivo rat model of acute myocardial ischemia and reperfusion. AL combinational therapy may provide a primary prevention therapeutic window in ischemic and nonischemic regions of the heart.  相似文献

The focal source hypothesis of ventricular fibrillation (VF) posits that rapid activation from a focal source, rather than action potential duration (APD) restitution properties, is responsible for the maintenance of VF. We injected aconitine (100 microg) into normal isolated perfused swine right ventricles (RVs) stained with 4-[beta-[2-(di-n-butylamino)-6-naphthyl]vinyl]pyridinium (di-4-ANEPPS) for optical mapping studies. Within 97 +/- 163 s, aconitine induced ventricular tachycardia (VT) with a mean cycle length 268 +/- 37 ms, which accelerated before converting to VF. Drugs that flatten the APD restitution slope, including diacetyl monoxime (10-20 mM, n = 6), bretylium (10-20 microg/ml, n = 3), and verapamil (2-4 microg/ml, n = 3), reversibly converted VF to VT in all cases. In two RVs, VF persisted despite of the excision of the aconitine site. Simulations in two-dimensional cardiac tissue showed that once VF was initiated, it remained sustained even after the "aconitine" site was eliminated. In this model of focal source VF, the VT-to-VF transition occurred due to a wave break outside the aconitine site, and drugs that flattened the APD restitution slope converted VF to VT despite continuous activation from aconitine site.  相似文献

We tested whether the interventions typically required for optical mapping affect activation patterns during ventricular fibrillation (VF). A 21 x 24 unipolar electrode array (1.5 mm spacing) was sutured to the left ventricular epicardium of 16 anesthetized pigs, and four episodes of electrically induced VF (30-s duration) were recorded. The hearts were then rapidly excised and connected to a Langendorff perfusion apparatus. Four of the hearts were controls, in which 24 additional VF episodes were then mapped. In the remaining 12 hearts, four VF episodes were mapped after isolation, four more episodes were mapped after exposure to the voltage-sensitive dye di-4-ANEPPS, and six more episodes were mapped after exposure to the electromechanical uncoupling agents diacetyl monoxime (DAM; 20 mmol/l, n = 6) or cytochalasin D (CytoD; 10 micromol/l, n = 6). VF episodes were separated by 4 min. VF activation patterns were quantified using custom pattern analysis algorithms. From comparisons with time-corrected control data, all interventions significantly changed VF patterns. Most changes were broadly consistent with slowing and regularization due to loss of excitability. Heart isolation had the largest effect on VF patterns, followed by CytoD, DAM, and dye.  相似文献

Whether or not the excitation-contraction (E-C) uncoupler diacetyl monoxime (DAM) and cytochalacin D (Cyto D) alter the ventricular fibrillation (VF) activation patterns is unclear. We recorded single cell action potentials and performed optical mapping in isolated perfused swine right ventricles (RV) at different concentrations of DAM and Cyto D. Increasing the concentration of DAM results in progressively shortened action potential duration (APD) measured to 90% repolarization, reduced the slope of the APD restitition curve, decreased Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy, and reduced the number of VF wave fronts. In all RVs, 15-20 mmol/l DAM converted VF to ventricular tachycardia (VT). The VF could be reinduced after the DAM was washed out. In comparison, Cyto D (10-40 micromol/l) has no effects on APD restitution curve or the dynamics of VF. The effects of DAM on VF are associated with a reduced number of wave fronts and dynamic complexities in VF. These results are compatible with the restitution hypothesis of VF and suggest that DAM may be unsuitable as an E-C uncoupler for optical mapping studies of VF in the swine RVs.  相似文献

The association between cardiac sympathetic nerve activity (CSNA) and ventricular fibrillation (VF) during acute myocardial infarction (MI) has not been assessed in conscious animal models. During the first 60 min post-MI, mean blood pressure (MBP), heart rate (HR), and CSNA were recorded continuously in 20 conscious sheep. Resistant sheep (group A, n = 10) were compared with susceptible sheep (group B, n = 10) who developed fatal VF (n = 7) or sustained ventricular tachycardia (VT, n = 3). The mean time to VF/VT was 28.1 +/- 3.3 min. In group B, MBP, HR, and CSNA were averaged at each consecutive minute from baseline at 14 min before the onset of VF/VT and compared with time-matched values in group A. When compared with those of group A, indexes of CSNA burst size increased before the onset of VF/VT: burst area/minute (F(13,208) = 2.17, P = 0.01) and burst area/100 beats (F(13,208) = 1.86, P = 0.04). By contrast, burst frequency indexes were not significantly different: burst frequency (F(13,208) = 1.6, P = 0.09) and burst incidence (F(13,208) = 1.48, P = 0.13). In group A, CSNA burst area/min and burst area/100 beats did not change across this time period (F(13,117) = 0.97, P = 0.5, F(13,117) = 0.96, P = 0.7) but increased with time in group B (F(13,91) = 2.3, P = 0.01; and F(13,91) = 2.25, P = 0.01). Between-group comparisons demonstrated no differences in time of onset of ventricular ectopic beats: 18.5 (range 12-24) in group A versus 15.0 min (range 7-22) in group B (Mann-Whitney U-test, P = 0.09). Pre-MI baroreflex slopes were similar: R-R slopes were 11.8 +/- 2 and 15.6 +/- 1.1 ms/mmHg (t(18) = -1.6, P = 0.14). CSNA slopes were -1.8 +/- 0.3 and -2.3 +/- 0.2%/mmHg (t(18) = -1.4, P = 0.2). An early increase in CSNA burst size indexes (before 60 min post-MI), mediated by an excitatory sympathetic reflex, is important in the genesis of VF/VT.  相似文献

In anesthetized dogs, 60-min occlusions of either the proximal (n = 14), distal (n = 8) left circumflex (LCX), or left anterior descending (LAD, n = 10) arteries were followed by reperfusion. Coronary sinus and aortic norepinephrine and epinephrine plasma concentrations were measured. The ventricular arrhythmias were ventricular premature depolarizations (VPDs), unsustained ventricular tachycardia (VT) (greater than or equal to 3 and less than 20 VPDs), sustained VT (greater than or equal to 20 VPDs), and ventricular fibrillation (VF). A gradual twofold increase (p less than 0.05) in myocardial norepinephrine overflow followed occlusion in all three groups. The increases in the amounts of norepinephrine released in the coronary sinus blood during reperfusion were significant and proportional to the size of the occluded area: proximal LCX, from 0.236 +/- 0.038 to 1.528 +/- 0.490 ng/mL of plasma (p less than 0.001); LAD, from 0.180 +/- 0.027 to 0.795 +/- 0.286 ng/mL (p less than 0.05); distal LCX, from 0.215 +/- 0.039 to 0.404 +/- 0.110 ng/mL (p less than 0.05). Aortic epinephrine concentrations were significantly increased only by LAD occlusion; at 15 min, the value had increased to 0.187 +/- 0.053 ng/mL from an initial value of 0.069 +/- 0.029 ng/mL (p less than 0.001). Two phases of ventricular arrhythmias followed both occlusion and reperfusion. Phase 1 postocclusion was characterized by VPDs and phase 2 by VPDs and unsustained VT. Sustained VT was seen only in phase 1 postreperfusion, whereas unsustained VT was seen in phase 2. Abrupt changes in heart rate, particularly short-long-short sequences in the ventricular cycle length (CL), might precede initiation of ventricular tachycardia/fibrillation (VT/VF). These changes may be facilitated or caused by pacing activity in patients with pacemakers or implantable-cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs). We describe a patient with two episodes of acquired VT precipitated by short-long-short sequences and diagnosed from the ICD recordings. In such cases, the knowledge of the device parameters is extremely important for a correct diagnosis and management.  相似文献

Radiofrequency ablation has an important role in the management of post infarction ventricular tachycardia. The mapping and ablation of ventricular tachycardia (VT) is complex and technically challenging. In the era of implantable cardioverter defibrillators, the role of radiofrequency ablation is most commonly reserved as an adjunctive treatment for patients with frequent, symptomatic episodes of ventricular tachycardia. In this setting the procedure has a success rate of around 70-80% and a low complication rate. During ventricular fibrillation (VF) only 39% of the variation in action potential duration (APD) is accounted for by the previous diastolic interval [DI((n-1))], i.e., restitution, and the previous APD [APD((n-1))], i.e., memory. We tested the hypothesis that a characteristic of the AP upstroke, the maximum rate of depolarization (V(max)), also helps account for its APD. A floating microelectrode was used to make transmembrane recordings at 16,000 samples/s from the anterior left ventricular wall during four 20-s episodes of VF in each of six pigs. V(max), time from V(max) to 60% repolarization (APD(60)), and DI were calculated throughout all episodes. Stepwise linear regression was used to determine how well each APD(60) (APD(60n)) was predicted by V(max) of that AP, the four previous DIs (n-1, n - 2, n - 3, n - 4), and the three previous APD(60)s (n-1, n - 2, n - 3). V(max) entered in the regression equation significantly more often (86% of VF episodes) than either APD((n-1)) (47% of episodes) or DI((n-1)) (58% of episodes). When these three variables entered first or second, their coefficients were almost always positive, consistent with a longer APD associated with 1) a larger V(max), 2) a longer APD((n-1)), and 3) a longer DI((n-1)). R(2) of the regression for all entered variables was 0.51 +/- 0.01 (mean +/- SD). During the first 20 s of VF in swine, V(max) is a more important determinant of APD than the previous DI (restitution) or the previous APD (memory). All variables together account for only one-half of APD variation during VF.  相似文献
