记述飞虱科一新属,即沟茎飞虱属Sulculus Ding et Chen, gen.nov.,二新种,即沟茎飞虱S. sulcatus Ding,sp.nov.和荔波沟茎飞虱S. liboensis Chen, sp. Nov.。模式标本分别保存于南京农业大学植物保护系和贵州大学昆虫研究所。     

中国埃拉飞虱属一新种记述 (同翅目：飞虱科)

 记述采自我国新疆维吾尔族自治区的埃拉飞虱属一新种,新疆埃 拉飞虱Elachodelphax xinjiangensis sp.nov.。模式标本保存于贵州大学昆虫研究所 。新种与该属模式种E. metcalfi(Kusnezov,1929)近缘,但新种以头顶端半部、额基半 部深褐色,颊黑褐色;阳基侧突端外角及基内角呈角状突出;阳茎背缘波曲,具4齿,腹缘 中部凹陷,该处亦具4齿;膈下半部两侧不具小齿等特征可明显区别。     

Parabrosmolus novaeguineae,a new genus and species of the subfamily Brosmophycinae from Papua New Guinea (Bythitidae,Ophidiiformes)

Parabrosmolus novaeguineae, a new genus and species of the subfamily Brosmophycinae (family Bythitidae) is described, based on a single specimen from Papua New Guinea. The genus is unique in the tribe Brosmophycini in having six branchiostegal rays and ten precaudal vertebrae, and is also similarly distinguished from two brosmophycine genera,Melodichthys andBeaglichthys, tribal allocations of the two latter being uncertain.Parabrosmolus also differs from all other genera in the subfamily by the following combination of characters: head scaly, anal fin origin slightly before midpoint of body, eye diameter shorter than snout length, three developed rakers on first gill arch and 16 (14+2) caudal fin rays.     

A new Philocheras species (Decapoda,Crangonidae) from Hansa Bay,Papua New Guinea

A new species of crangonid shrimp, Philocheras wilkinsae (Decapoda, Crangonidae) is described from Hansa Bay, Madang Province, Papua New Guinea. The new species belongs to the japonicus group, and can be distinguished from the other members of this group by carapace dentition and carination. The pleopod structure is unique in the genus.     

Caprellids (Crustacea: Amphipoda) from Papua New Guinea,with the description of a new species

This is the first study of caprellid amphipods from the coast of Papua New Guinea. Several collections from Madang Lagoon (north) and Bootless Bay (south) have been studied. Seven species in seven genera are recorded, of which Pseudoproto papua sp. nov. is described as new to science. The genus Pseudoproto Mayer, 1903 has consisted, so far, of only one species, Pseudoproto fallax Mayer, 1903. Although only a single male has been found of Pseudoproto papua sp. nov., differences in antennae, mouthparts, gnathopod 2 and pereopods 3 and 4 have revealed that it represents a new species of Pseudoproto. Lateral view figures of all species, together with a key to species level for the Caprellidea from Papua New Guinea are also included. Communicated by H.-D. Franke

云南条大叶蝉属五新种一新纪录：同翅目：叶蝉总科：大叶蝉科

本文记述大叶蝉科条大叶蝉属ＡｔｋｉｎｓｏｎｉｅｌｌａＤｉｓｔａｎｔ５新种及一中国新纪录种：黄条大叶蝉Ａ．ｘａｎｔｈｏｖｉｔｔａ、黄斑条大叶蝉Ａ．ｘａｎｔｈｏｎｏｔａ、黑体条大叶蝉Ａ．ｎｉｇｒａ、红斑条大叶蝉Ａ．ｒｕｂｒａ、污黄条大叶蝉Ａ．ｌａｃｔｅａ及披纹条大叶蝉Ａ．ｍａｌａｓｉｅｉＹｏｕｎ。标本采自我国云南省。文中描述了新种、新纪录种的外部形态和雄性外生殖器构造特征,以及与近似种的区别。     

中国叶蝉科四新种记述(同翅目：叶蝉总科)

报道横脊叶蝉属Evacanthus三新种,即双斑横脊叶蝉E. bimaculatus sp. nov.、黑条横脊叶蝉E. nigristreakus sp. nov.、红条横脊叶蝉E. Rubrolineatus sp. nov., 和点翅叶蝉属Gessius 一新种,黑背点翅叶蝉G. nigri dorsus sp.nov.。模式标本保存在贵州大学昆虫研究所。     

四十五种叶蝉的染色体研究（同翅目：叶蝉总科）

研究观察了45种中国雄性叶蝉的减数分裂,其中44种的核型为首次报道,染色体数目变化在2n=12～26之间,性别决定均为XO型。从叶蝉总科的组型图来看,该科染色体数目变化在2n=8～28之间,峰值为2n=18(16+XO),另外几种类型2n=16,20,22也有较高的出现频率。科内染色体数目的进化不具有明显的方向性,2n=22(20+XO)是该科的原始核型,易位导致的不均等互换可能是染色体数目进化的主要机制。从精子发生来看叶蝉总科与角蝉总科的关系较为密切,两者的共同特点是：①精母细胞体积较大,显著不同于沫蝉和蝉科;②减数分裂行为及精子变态过程相似;③染色体数目较少,染色体体积较大;④减数分裂前期具有典型的花束期,没有弥散期,因而不同于蜡蝉。但是由于叶蝉总科的染色体变异范围明显大于角蝉总科,而角蝉总科的核型相对较为保守,从核型上来说角蝉总科是比叶蝉总科较为原始的类群。

A new species of hagfish (Myxinidae: Eptatretus) from Papua New Guinea

A new species of seven‐gilled hagfish Eptatretus astrolabium (Myxinidae) is described from a 400 mm total length female trapped 1 km east from Planet Rock, Astrolabe Bay, Papua New Guinea, at c. 500 m depth. This is the first hagfish species reported from the waters around New Guinea. It can be distinguished from other hagfishes by a combination of characters including seven pairs of gill apertures, three‐cusp multicusps on the anterior and posterior rows of cusps, 10 posterior unicusps, 52 total cusps, 18–19 prebranchial pores, five branchial pores, 48–49 trunk pores, 83–84 total pores and no nasal‐sinus papillae.     

进口巴布亚新几内亚原木上截获吉丁虫的鉴定

描述江苏口岸首次从巴新原木上截获的8种吉丁虫,隶属于窄吉丁Agrilus,澳纹吉丁Anilara,星吉丁Chrysobothris,胸斑吉丁Belionota,驼翅吉丁Cyphogastra。编制族属检索表,介绍8种的鉴别特征,并配以8种吉丁虫的原色图,对检疫性害虫窄吉丁非中国种的分类状况作了简介。     

Revision of the termite family Rhinotermitidae (Isoptera) in New Guinea

Recently, we completed a revision of the Termitidae from New Guinea and neighboring islands, recording a total of 45 species. Here, we revise a second family, the Rhinotermitidae, to progress towards a full picture of the termite diversity in New Guinea. Altogether, 6 genera and 15 species are recorded, among which two species, Coptotermes gambrinus and Parrhinotermes barbatus, are new to science. The genus Heterotermes is reported from New Guinea for the first time, with two species restricted to the southern part of the island. We also provide the first New Guinea records for six species of the genera Coptotermes and Schedorhinotermes. We briefly describe soldiers and imagoes of each species and provide a key based on soldier characters. Finally, we discuss the taxonomic and biogeographical implication of our results. A replacement name, Schedolimulus minutides Bourguignon, is proposed for the termitophilous staphylinid Schedolimulus minutus Bourguignon, to solve a question of secondary homonymy.     

Argentina adulterina (Rosaceae‐Potentilleae), a new species from New Guinea

Argentina adulterina Soják sp. nova from New Guinea (Irian Jaya) is described and compared with allied species. Habitually it is similar to A. irianensis, but in leaflet dentation it agrees with A. biloba. Leaves and leaflets of these three species are illustrated and a depiction of calyces of A. adulterina and A. irianensis is presented (© 2012 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)

本文记述采自安徽省祁门县牯牛降自然保护区寄生于箭竹Sinarundinaria nitida(Mitf.)Nakai上的日仁蚧属Nipponaclerda一新种,箭竹日仁蚧Nipponaclerda triumpha,sp.nov.     

印尼新几内亚巴布亚省豕蛙属4新种(两栖纲:姬蛙科)(英文)

姬蛙科豕蛙属(Choerophryne)已知5种,几乎都分布于新几内亚岛东部地区,已有物种的描述多基于较少数量的标本,由于标本贫乏,迄今无 后续研究.本文针对采集于1998-2003年的50号标本,对该属进行了再研究,并描述了分布 于新几内亚岛的巴布亚西北地区鲜为人知的4新种.与同属已知物种比较,新种的有效性得 到来自形态、声谱以及分子数据的综合分析结果的支持.在新几内亚岛西部地区豕蛙属4新 种中,至少有3种的种群密度很高,从而极大增加了对该属的了解     

A new species of Peucoglyphus Bernhauer from New Guinea (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Staphylininae)

Peucoglyphus kensp. n., a new species from New Guinea is described. Adding the new species, this rare Wallacean genus from the tribe Staphylinini (subtribe Philonthina) currently includes five species. An updated identification key for the genus is provided.
