饥饿和温度驯化对中华倒刺鲃静止代谢和游泳能力的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1

为了探讨饥饿和温度驯化对中华倒刺鲃(Spinibarbus sinensis)幼鱼维持代谢和游泳运动能力的影响,在不同温度(15、25℃)条件下分别测定了经0(对照)、1、2、4周饥饿后中华倒刺钯的静止代谢率(M_(O_2_(rest))和匀加速最大游泳速度(U_(CAT))。饥饿和低温对M_(o_2_(rest))和U_(CAT)均有负效应。在高温条件下,实验鱼经1周饥饿后其M_(o_2_(rest))和U_(CAT)均显著下降(P0.05);但在低温条件下,仅4周饥饿组的M_(o_2_(rest))和U_(CAT)显著下降(P0.05)。U_(CAT)与M_(o_2_(rest))在不同的饥饿周期具有相似的变化趋势;在低温条件下,前期饥饿阶段M_(o_2_(rest))和U_(CAT)变化较小,后期饥饿阶段变化较大;但在高温条件下则相反。无论是在低温还是在高温条件下,U_(CAT)与M_(o_2_(rest))之间均呈显著线性正相关(P0.05),但低温组回归方程斜率显著高于高温组回归方程斜率(F_(1,4)=11.416,P=0.028)。在不同温度下,中华倒刺钯游泳运动能力对饥饿的反应不尽相同可能与维持代谢、生化反应速率、机体能量储存、代谢酶活性及底物利用类型等的差异相关,这种对策的差异可能是其对栖息地环境温度和食物资源季节性变化的适应。  相似文献

3. 3. The air temperature was −5°C. Thermal radiation was 360 W/m2. Air velocities were 0.76, 1.73 and 2.8 m/s. Rectal and skin temperatures, heart rate and oxygen consumption were recorded. Thermal and comfort sensations were questioned.

4. 4. There are no significant effects of thermal radiation and wind on the physiological responses except the mean skin temperature. There are significant effects on the mean skin temperature (P < 0.01) and thermal sensation (P < 0.05).

Every autumn, large numbers of raptors migrate through geographical convergence zones to avoid crossing large bodies of water. At coastal convergence zones, raptors may aggregate along coastlines because of convective or wind conditions. However, the effect of wind and thermal convection on migrating raptors may vary depending on local landscapes and weather, and on the flight strategies of different raptors. From 20 August to 14 October 2008 and 2009, we studied the effect of cloud development and crosswinds on the flight paths of raptors migrating through the eastern Black Sea convergence zone, where coastal lowlands at the foothills of the Pontic Mountains form a geographical bottleneck 5‐km‐wide near Batumi, the capital of the Independent Republic of Ajaria in southwestern Georgia. To identify key correlates of local aggregation, we examined diurnal variation in migration intensity and coastal aggregation of 11 species of raptors categorized based on size and flight strategies. As reported at other convergence zones, migration intensity of large obligate‐soaring species peaked during the core period of thermal activity at mid‐day. When clouds developed over interior mountains and limited thermal convection, these large obligate‐soaring species aggregated near the coast. However, medium‐sized soaring migrants that occasionally use flapping flight did not aggregate at the coast when clouds over the mountains weakened thermal convection. Numbers of alternate soaring‐flapping harriers (Circus spp.) peaked during early morning, with these raptors depending more on flapping flight during a time of day with poor thermal convection. Small sparrowhawks (Accipiter spp.) aggregated at the coast during periods when winds blew offshore, suggesting aggregation caused by wind drift. Thus, weather conditions, including cloud cover and wind speed and direction, can influence the daily rhythm and flight paths of migrating raptors and, therefore, should be accounted for before inferring population trends from migration counts.  相似文献

应用封闭式小动物能量代谢仪测定了爪鲵在6℃、10℃、15℃、20℃和25℃环境条件下的体温和能量代谢以及在极端环境中的耐受性,探讨环境温度对爪鲵体温及能量代谢的影响.结果表明:爪鲵体温与环境温度呈正相关,其直线回归方程为:Tb=0.6966 0.9518Ta,相关非常显著.爪鲵对极端环境温度的耐受力较弱,在32℃-35℃高温和-2℃到-6℃低温 环境中的致死体温(TbL50)分别为27.7℃±0.9165℃和2.85℃±0.1539℃.在环 境温度为6℃-25℃的范围内,爪鲵的能量代谢与环境温度呈指数回归相关,指数方程为MR=0 .7495e0.0408x,相关显著.其代谢水平随环境温度的升高而升高,不同于内热源动物的代谢特征,爪鲵的体温调节和能量代谢显示出外热源动物的特点  相似文献

Three key compounds in brain energy metabolism have been measured during and after exposure to continuous wave radiofrequency radiation at 200, 591, and 2,450 MHz. Frequency-dependent changes have been found for all three compounds. Changes in NADH fluorescence have been measured on the surface of a surgically uncovered rat brain during exposure. At 200 and 591 MHz, NADH fluorescence increased in a dose-dependent manner between approximately 1 and 10 mW/cm2, then became constant at higher exposures. There was no effect at 2,450 MHz. Levels of ATP and CP were measured in whole brain after exposure. The ATP levels were decreased at 200 and 591 MHz but not at 2,450 MHz. The CP levels decreased only at 591 MHz. The effect of duration of exposure (up to 5 min) was investigated for all compounds at 200 MHz and 2,450 MHz, and exposures to 20 minutes were examined at 591 MHz. Temperature in the rat brain was essentially constant for all exposures. A general mechanism for inhibition of the mitochondrial electron transport chain and the CP-kinase reaction pathway by radiofrequency radiation has been proposed.  相似文献

在室内,用1.35 w·m-2剂量的UV-B和1.29 mmol·L-1浓度的Hg2+对黑小麦幼苗进行复合处理.结果表明,随处理时间的延长,叶绿素(Chl)、类胡萝卜素(Car)含量和光系统Ⅱ(PSⅡ)电子传递活性下降,SOD活性下降不明鲜;根系TTC还原能力下降;而叶片细胞膜相对透性(El)、丙二醛(MDA)和H2O2含量增加;处理12天后植株高和鲜重下降.MDA和H2O2含量指标,UV-B+Hg2+的复合处理大于Hg2+的单独处理.  相似文献

Oxygen consumption and body temperature of active and resting honeybees   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We measured the energy turnover (oxygen consumption) of honeybees (Apis mellifera carnica), which were free to move within Warburg vessels. Oxygen consumption of active bees varied widely depending on ambient temperature and level of activity, but did not differ between foragers (>18 d) and middle-aged hive bees (7-10 d). In highly active bees, which were in an endothermic state ready for flight, it decreased almost linearly, from a maximum of 131.4 microl O(2) min(-1) at 15 degrees C ambient temperature to 81.1 microl min(-1) at 25 degrees C, and reached a minimum of 29.9 microl min(-1) at 40 degrees C. In bees with low activity, it decreased from 89.3 microl O(2) min(-1) at 15 degrees C to 47.9 microl min(-1) at 25 degrees C and 14.7 microl min(-1) at 40 degrees C. Thermographic measurements of body temperature showed that with increasing activity, the bees invested more energy to regulate the thorax temperature at increasingly higher levels (38.8-41.2 degrees C in highly active bees) and were more accurate. Resting metabolism was determined in young bees of 1-7 h age, which are not yet capable of endothermic heat production with their flight muscles. Their energy turnover increased from 0.21 microl O(2) min(-1) at 10 degrees C to 0.38 microl min(-1) at 15 degrees C, 1.12 microl min(-1) at 25 degrees C, and 3.03 microl min(-1) at 40 degrees C. At 15, 25 and 40 degrees C, this was 343, 73 and 10 times below the values of the highly active bees, respectively. The Q(10) value of the resting bees, however, was not constant but varied in a U-shaped manner with ambient temperature. It decreased from 4.24 in the temperature range 11-21 degrees C to 1.35 in the range 21-31 degrees C, and increased again to 2.49 in the range 30-40 degrees C. We conclude that attempts to describe the temperature dependence of the resting metabolism of honeybees by Q(10) values can lead to considerable errors if the measurements are performed at only two temperatures. An acceptable approximation can be derived by calculation of an interpolated Q(10) according to the exponential function (V(O(2))=0.151 x 1.0784(T(a))) (interpolated Q(10)=2.12).  相似文献

Plants' uptake and metabolism of cyanide in response to changes in temperature was investigated. Pre-rooted weeping willows (Salix babylonica L.) were exposed to hydroponic solution spiked with potassium cyanide for 2-3 d. Ten different temperatures were used, ranging from 11 degrees C to 32 degrees C. Cyanide in water, plant tissue, and air was analyzed spectrophotometrically. The results revealed that significant amounts of the applied cyanide were removed from the aqueous solutions in the presence of plants. Small amounts of free cyanide were detected in plant materials in all treatments, but there was no clear trend that showed an increase or decrease in the accumulation in plant material with temperature. The highest cyanide metabolism rate for weeping willows was found at 32 degrees C with a value of 2.78 mg CN/(kg x d), whereas the lowest value was 1.20 mg CN/(kg x d) at ll degrees C. The temperature coefficient, Q10, which is the ratio of metabolism rates at a 10 degrees C difference, was determined for weeping willows to be 1.46. In conclusion, changes in temperature have a substantial influence on the uptake and metabolism of cyanide by plants, but cyanide accumulation does not increase with temperature.  相似文献

Eighth instar female house crickets at 35°C developed faster, gained slightly more wet weight, and consumed less food, water, and oxygen than at 25°C. The duration of the 8th stadium at 25°C was 13 days (undisturbed), but was 14 days when disturbed by daily weighing. The duration of the 8th stadium at 30°C was 8 days and at 35°C was 6 days. During the first half of the 8th stadium at 25, 30, and 35°C, there was a high rate of food and water consumption resulting in statistically equal maximum dry weight achievement (124 mg). Respiratory quotients greater than one during this time indicated the conversion of ingested carbohydrate to fat. During the latter half of the 8th stadium, food and water consumption declined and the crickets lost weight. The period of weight loss was proportionally much longer at 25°C than at 30 or 35°C. Respiratory quotients lower than 1.0 during the latter half of the 8th stadium at 30 and 35°C indicated the metabolism of stored lipids. The respiratory quotient at 25°C never fell below 1.0, possibly because some food remained in the gut. The absorption efficiency was not influenced by temperature (25–35°C). Though the caloric content of the faeces was lower at 25°C than at 30 or 35°C, which correlated to the much longer time for food passage at 25°C than at 35°C, the difference in total calories egested was insufficient to alter the absorption efficiency. A longer period of reduced feeding and greater dry weight loss during the latter half of the 8th stadium at 25°C resulted in a lower metabolic efficiency at 25°C than at 30 or 35°C. Eighth instar crickets in response to a step-function transfer from 30°C–25 or 35°C showed an immediate (<1 hr) and complete metabolic adjustment which was not affected by the temperature history during the 7th stadium. House crickets did not exhibit temperature acclimation in the range 20–40°C, the metabolic rate being determined by ambient temperature. 研究了赤链蛇(Dinodon rufozonatum)在孵化过程中卵的生长、孵化期、胚胎代谢和孵出幼体行为表现的热依赖性。结果显示:孵化温度对孵化期、卵增重、孵化过程中消耗的总能量和孵出幼体的运动表现有显著影响,但不影响胚胎代谢率、孵化成功率和幼体吐信频次。孵化期随着孵化温度的升高而缩短,孵化过程中,24℃终末卵重和胚胎代谢率显著大于30℃,而27℃与其他两个温度没有差异;27℃孵出幼体游速较24℃快,30℃孵出幼体与其他两个温度孵出幼体的游速无显著差异。上述结果显示:24—30℃是赤链蛇适合的孵化温度范围,与赤链蛇所处的生境温度相近。  相似文献

Seventeen birds from 12 flocks were exposed to microwave radiation under various combinations of power density and duration; three birds from two additional flocks served as sham-exposed controls. Experiments were conducted outdoors at Manomet, Massachusetts (41°56′N, 70°35′W) under normal winter ambient temperatures. 试验以三系杂交籼稻‘五优308’和‘天优华占’以及常规籼稻‘黄华占’为材料,在大田条件下,设置10个播期,研究田间不同温光条件对籼稻生育期天数、颖花分化和退化数的影响.结果表明: 温度对3个籼稻品种生育期的影响比日照长度大,平均温度升高1 ℃,播种-穗分化始期天数平均减少1.5 d,而穗分化历期天数与光照和温度的关系均不密切.不同播期间每穗颖花数和颖花分化数存在显著差异.穗分化期间平均温度、最高温度和最低温度升高,有效积温增加,昼夜温差扩大,光辐射增强,有利于穗分化期干物质积累和颖花分化,各品种趋势一致.穗分化期间有效积温增加50 ℃,颖花分化数增加10.5朵,昼夜温差扩大1 ℃,颖花分化增加14.3朵,总光辐射量增加50 MJ·m-2,颖花分化数增加17.1朵.颖花退化率与温度呈现二次项相关,极端高温或极端低温的自然条件不利于颖花形成,但低温天气对颖花退化的影响大于高温.温度低于临界温度,颖花退化率大幅增加,穗分化期临界积温为550~600 ℃,日平均温度为24.0~26.0 ℃,日最高温度为32.0~34.0 ℃,日最低温度为21.0~23.0 ℃.适宜高温、昼夜温差大、光照辐射强的自然条件利于颖花分化,并减少颖花退化.  相似文献

The effects of high temperature on isoprene synthesis in oak leaves   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Isoprene emission from plants is highly temperature sensitive and is common in forest canopy species that experience rapid leaf temperature fluctuations. Isoprene emission declines with temperature above 35 °C but the temperature at which the decline begins varies between 35 and 44 °C. This variability is caused by the rate at which leaf temperature is increased during measurement with lower temperatures associated with longer measurement cycles. To investigate this we exposed leaves of red oak (Quercus rubra L.) to temperature regimes of 35–45 °C for periods of 20–60 min. Isoprene emission increased during the first 10 min of high temperature exposure and then decreased over the next 10 min until it reached steady state. This phenomenon was common at temperatures above 35 °C but was not noticeable at temperatures below that. The response was reversible within 30 min by lowering leaf temperature to 30 °C. Because there is no storage of isoprene inside the leaf, this behaviour indicates regulation of isoprene synthesis in the leaf. We demonstrated that the variability in isoprene decline results from regulation and explains the variability in the temperature response. This is consistent with our theory that isoprene protects leaves from damage caused by rapid temperature fluctuations.  相似文献

在4.52 kJ*m-2*d-1 UV-BBE的UV-B辐射和700 μmol*mol-1的CO2浓度人工模拟复合处理下,研究了对蚕豆(Vicia faba L.)幼苗的生长和光合作用的影响.结果表明,UV-B辐射单因子明显降低蚕豆幼苗的株高、叶面积和生物量,CO2单因子的作用正好相反,二者的作用程度随着处理时间的延长而增大.UV-B辐射和CO2复合作用对蚕豆幼苗的生长影响不明显.同时,增强的UV-B辐射单因子还使蚕豆幼苗的光合速率、气孔导度和水分利用率下降,CO2单因子的作用也相反,且CO2单因子的促进程度大于UV-B辐射单因子的抑制程度.而在UV-B辐射和CO2复合作用下,蚕豆幼苗的光合作用参数基本与对照同步.分析认为,UV-B辐射和CO2复合作用对蚕豆幼苗的影响是一种拮抗作用.  相似文献
