The character of the distribution of pleurocercoids of Triaenophorus nodulosus depending on the host age is shown. Their distribution in perch at the age of 0+-4+ is over dispersed in its character and is described by negative binomial. At the age of 5+ to 8+ the distribution of parasites is of regular character that is apparently due to changes in the mechanism of regulation of the parasites number. The regulation mechanism of the number of pleurocercoids of T. nodulosus is discussed.  相似文献

Carrageenans extracted from cystocarpic and tetrasporic Stenogramme interrupta were analysed by chemical and spectroscopic methods. The carrageenan from cystocarpic plants is composed predominantly of 0.5 M KCl-insoluble and 1 M KCl-soluble fractions. The insoluble fraction contained iota-carrageenan as the major component with alpha-carrageenan and pyruvated carrageenan as minor components. The soluble fraction is highly heterogeneous and did not contain the precursors mu- and nu-carrageenans. The polysaccharide from tetrasporic plants is composed of zeta- and lambda-carrageenans, and low sulfated galactans. It is soluble in KCl and partly cyclized by alkaline treatment. The antiviral and anticoagulant properties of the insoluble polysaccharide fraction from cystocarpic S. interrupta and the polysaccharide from tetrasporic S. interrupta are reported the results of which suggest promising antiherpetic activity.  相似文献

记述采自广西九万山地区蚱科蚱属Tetrix昆虫1新种,即断隆蚱Tetrix interrupta sp.nov..该新种近似于金沙江蚱Tetrix jinshajiangensis Zheng,2001,主要区别为:(1)头顶前缘平直,不突出于复眼之前;(2)触角着生于复眼下缘之下;(3)肩部之间不具一对短纵隆线;(4)中足股节下缘近平直,密具细毛;(5)中足股节的宽度与前翅能见部分的宽度相等;(6)后足股节上侧中隆线具较大的锯齿.模式标本保存在陕西师范大学动物研究所标本室.  相似文献

The character of the distribution of the plerocercoid D. interrupta in the bream Abramis brama from the Kuibyshev water reservoir was studied. The spread of the parasites in A. brama population is of complex character and changes with the increase of fish body length. The factors affecting the maintenance and regulation of the relationships in the host-parasite system (size composition of fishes, peculiarities of the host's genotype, values of occurrence of different numbers of the parasites, variability of plerocercoids) are discussed.  相似文献

The morphological composition of blood and the reaction of the immune system in a Siberian roach Rutilus rutilus lacustris (Baikal, Chivyrkuiskii Bay) both infested and not infested with pleurocercoids of Ligula intestinalis is investigated. An infestation with L. intestinalis renders a negative effect on the morphological and immunological parameters of blood supporting the immunological homeostasis of its host. In comparison with individuals not infested, the following changes are recorded in the infested individuals: a decrease in the count of erythrocytes and leukocytes (due to a decrease in lymphocytes), increase of the quantity of foam cells, inhibition of T-lymphocytic link of immunity, and a decrease in the content of the total protein, albumin, and gamma-globulin fractions of protein. The change of hematological and immune reactions of a host organism ensures a prolonged mutual adaptation of the parasite and host.  相似文献

In this article, we describe a new species of Himasthla Dietz, 1909 (Digenea: Echinostomatidae) from Larus dominicanus Lichtenstein (Aves: Laridae) in northern Patagonia, Argentina. We also describe the hosts, localities, and key diagnostic features and the measurements of the so far 25 described species. Of these species. Himasthla militaris, H. leptosoma, H. elongata, H. secunda, H. megacotyla, H. multilecithosa, H. piscicola, H. compacta, H. schachtachtinskoi, H. littorinae, H. continua, H. avosettae, and H. interrupta are similar to H. escamosa n. sp. in having 29 head collar spines. Himasthla leptosoma, H. piscicola, H. multilecithosa, H. interrupta, H. continua, and H. militaris can be differentiated from the new species mainly by the extension of the vitellaria. Himasthla avosettae, H. megacotyla, H. elongata, H. compacta, and H. littorinae have a different size or arrangement (or both) of head collar spines compared with H. escamosa. Himasthla secunda can be distinguished from H. escamosa n. sp. in having a larger body, testes, and ovary and a different position of the ovary. The comparison with H. schachtachtinskoi could not be done because the bibliography was not available. This is the first record of the genus in Argentina and from L. dominicanus.  相似文献

Predation on skate eggs by snails was examined for three skate species at seven nursery sites in three regions (north, middle and south) of the eastern Bering Sea. Mean predation levels were 6·46% for the Alaska skate Bathyraja parmifera , 2·65% for the Aleutian skate Bathyraja aleutica and 22·25% for the Bering skate Bathyraja interrupta . Predation levels were significantly higher at the middle and north sites than the south sites for all species combined. Predation levels decreased with increasing egg-case densities at all nursery sites, and the highest predation levels occurred where egg-case densities were very low. Predated egg-case density increased with increasing snail densities across all nursery sites examined. The Oregon triton Fusitriton oregonensis was the most abundant snail species at all nursery sites and displayed ability to drill holes in the egg case of B. parmifera. Holes left by predatory snails in egg cases of B. parmifera were significantly larger, and of different shape at the middle site compared to the south site. Holes in B. parmifera were also significantly larger than those in egg cases of B. interrupta across all sites examined. Egg cases of B. aleutica possess surface spines that cover the egg case and may inhibit predation by snails at a greater rate than that of the B. parmifera and B. interrupta , which have a smoother egg-case surface.  相似文献

A composition of secretory proteins of plerocercoids of the cestode Digramma interrupta and their enzyme activity have been studied. It has been shown that plerocercoids produce 26 secretory proteins with molecular weight range of 3.9 to 112.2 kDa. These secretory polypeptides possess protease, DNAase and RNAase activities.  相似文献

A taxonomic revision of the genus Phryganogryllacris Karny, 1937 is provided. Twelve species of the genus from China are recorded, including 5 species described as new to science, namely P. sichuanensis Li, Liu Li, sp. nov., P. parva Li, Liu Li, sp. nov., P. truncata Li, Liu Li, sp. nov., P. interrupta Li, Liu Li, sp. nov. and P. longicerca Li, Liu Li, sp. nov. Two new combinations are also reported here, P. gialai(Gorochov, 2004)(Vietnam) comb. nov. and P. alia(Gorochov, 2004)(Vietnam) comb. nov. In the present study two species of gobies, Pomatoschistus microps and P. minutus from southwest Wales were studied and appearance of some unusual parasite of gobies, were used as an indicator for fish behaviour. The occurrence of pleurocercoids of Ligula intestinalis in the body cavity of these fish and Proteocephalus sp., excysted metacercariae and adult of Timoniella spp., excysted metacercariae of Bucephalus baeri , the excysted metacercariae of Podocotyle atomon and progenetic adult of Bucephaloides gracilescens in their gut indicate host anadromous, cannibalistic and scavenging behaviour.  相似文献

Few studies have systematically addressed evolutionary changes in olfactory neuron assemblies, either by genetic drift or as an adaptation to specific odor environments. We have studied the sense of olfaction in 2 congeneric scarab beetles, Pachnoda interrupta Olivier and Pachnoda marginata Drury (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Cetoniinae), which are both opportunistic polyphages, feeding mainly on fruit and flowers. The 2 species occur in dissimilar habitats: P. interrupta is found in dry savannah, and P. marginata in tropical parts of equatorial Africa. To study how these species may have adapted their sense of olfaction to their odor environments, we utilized single-unit electrophysiology on olfactory sensilla with a wide selection of food-related compounds. Despite the differences in habitat, we found that the species shared most of the physiological types of olfactory receptor neurons (ORNs) encountered, although their proportions frequently varied between the species. The high degree of conservation in olfaction between the species implies that a similar sensory strategy is efficient for food search in both habitats. However, shifts in proportions of receptor neuron classes, and slight shifts in response profiles and/or presence of some ORN classes unique to either species, may reflect adaptation to a different set of hosts.  相似文献

Abstract. Phylogenetic relationships among the South American thynnine tiphiids are analysed, using previously unused characters from the female head, male and female terminalia, mouthparts and thorax. A new tribe, Scotaenini, is proposed to include the South American genera: Scotaena, Anodontyra, Pseudelaphroptera, Parelaphroptera, Glottynoides, Glottynnus, Rostrynnus and Ornepetes. One genus, Aelurus , is the only neotropical representative of the tribe Rhagigasterini. The remaining South American genera belong to the Thynnini. In addition, keys to and a synonymic checklist of the South American genera are included. One specific synonymy ( Anodontyra interrupta Duran 1941 with A.tricolor Westwood 1835), and one generic synonymy ( Pseudornepetes Duran 1941 with Pseudelaphroptera Ashmead 1903) are proposed. Telephoromyia exsecta Turner is newly transferred to Spilothynnus.  相似文献

In the study area 150 diatom taxa were identified, including several varieties. The characteristic feature of the community is the strong predominance of several epipsammic diatom species of which Achnanthes delicatula, Fragilaria construens var. venter, Navicula cryptolyra , and Opephora olsenii are the most abundant. The predominating taxa are autochthonous in the study area and their percent content ranges from 70 to 90%. In the sediments studied there was also a large group of species which are typical of the Puck Bay interior. They are usually represented by several specimens showing various degrees of destruction. Only few of them attain in the study area considerable percent contents e.g. Achnanthes lemmermanni, Amphora acutiuscula, Cocconeis scutellum, Diploneis interrupta, Navicula rhynchocephala, N. perminuta, Nitzschia frustulum and N. nana. Numerous taxa reported in the paper are recorded in the study area for the first time.  相似文献

1. The venom of the solitary scoliid wasp Colpa interrupta (F.) shows a kinin-activity, when tested on a cascade of mammalian smooth muscle preparations, and, in addition, a contraction of the rat colon. 2. The venom also irreversibly blocks the nicotinic synaptic transmission from the cercal nerve to a giant interneuron in the sixth abdominal ganglion of the cockroach, Periplaneta americana. 3. The same activities have been found within one HPLC fraction. 4. However, rechromatography of this fraction resulted in four subfractions being active on smooth muscles. 5. One fraction caused contraction of the colon, three other fractions contained kinin-activity. 6. Only the most active kinin fraction blocked synaptic transmission in the insect CNS. 7. This fraction contained threonine-bradykinin. 8. Synthetic Thr-bradykinin causes irreversible presynaptic activation-induced block of transmission in the insect CNS.  相似文献
