Length‐weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for nine fish species occurring in the Three Gorges Reservoir(28°56′–31°44′N, 106°14′–111°28′E). Fish were collected using gill nets, including two of 1.0 m depth, 100 m long, and mesh size of 0.5 cm; two of 1.0 m deepth, 150 m long, and mesh size of 2.0 cm; and one of 1.5 m deepth, 100 m long, and mesh size of 6.0 cm. Gill nets were set over night including different habitats (riffles and pools, vegetated and non vegetated zones) from seven sites seasonally from January 2014 to January 2018. The first LWR reference for Jinshaia abbreviata (Günther, 1892), and Triplophysa tanggulaensis (Zhu, 1982) and new maximum lengths for other seven species are provided when comparing with records given in the international electronic databank FishBase (Froese & Pauly, FishBase. The length–weight relationships (LWRs) for 15 fish species from the Three Gorges Reservoir (TGR) were described in this paper. Specimens were collected using gill nets (mesh size: 6, 8, 10, 12 cm), cage net (mesh size: 1 cm), benthic fyke net (mesh size: 1 cm), hook longlines (80 m long, 3 barbless hooks per meter line) and electrofishing (power: 1,500 w; distance of electrodes: 1–2 m; water depth: 0.2–1.0 m; water area: 1–2 m2; catch by dip net [mesh size: 0.4 cm]) at four sections of the TGR, monthly in June–August and October–November in 2017 and 2018. The first LWR reference for Zacco acutipinnis (Bleeker, 1871), Discogobio brachyphysallidos Huang, 1989, Squalidus nitens (Günther, 1873), Leptobotia pellegrini Fang, 1936, Sinibotia reevesae (Chang, 1944), Pseudobagrus tenuifurcatus (Nichols, 1931), Pseudobagrus medianalis (Regan, 1904), Liobagrus marginatoides (Wu, 1930), Glyptothorax fokiensis (Rendahl, 1925), and Ctenogobius szechuanensis (Liu, 1940) and new maximum total length for 12 species are provided.  相似文献

The length–weight relationships were determined for three fish species: Histiopterus typus (Temminck & Schlegel, 1844), Branchiostegus argentatus (Cuvier, 1830), and Ilisha elongata (Anonymous [Bennett], 1830). The length‐weight relationships (LWRs) of three fish species; Toxotes chatareus (Hamilton, 1822), Datnioides polota (Hamilton, 1822), and Chela cachius (Hamilton, 1822) collected between September 2016 and August 2017 from Tentulia estuary of Bangladesh were analyzed. Fish were caught seasonally using set bag net and cast net with mesh size of 0.5 cm and < 0.5 cm, respectively. LWRs of Toxotes chatareus, Datnioides polota and Chela cachius were calculated as W = 0.0154L2.926 (r2 = .962), W = 0.0149L3.106 (r2 = .992) and W = 0.0109L2.968 (r2 = .981), respectively. Length–weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for three cyprinid fish species [Acrossocheilus yunnanensis (Regan, 1904), Onychostoma simum (Sauvage & Dabry de Thiersant, 1874) and Spinibarbus sinensis (Bleeker, 1871)] from southwestern China. Samples were obtained with various fishing gear (set nets, drift gill nets, fish cages, hook and electrofishing). Length‐weight relationships were determined for three fish species [Bregmaceros rarisquamosus Munro, 1950; Sardinella albella (Valenciennes, 1847) and Cynoglossus macrolepidotus (Bleeker, 1851)] inhabiting the coastal of Hainan, China. Fishes were collected using gillnets (mesh size 0.5 cm) and electrofishing from 2005 to December 2012. The b‐values of the equations ranged between 2.57 for Bregmaceros rarisquamosus and 3.34 for Cynoglossus macrolepidotus and thus were just inside the acceptable range for this value. Length‐weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for 4 deep water fish species from Visakhapatnam coast, India. Specimens were collected fortnightly between December 2013 and November 2015 from commercial trawls at Visakhapatnam fish landing centre (16.98°N–20.2°N, Long.82.19°–86.53°E). Individuals were captured between 100 and 300 m depth with shrimp trawl net (head rope length: 37–46 m and cod end mesh size: 30–40 mm). Total length (TL) (nearest to 0.1 cm) and body weights (nearest to 0.1 g) were taken each individual. All LWRs were significant with r2 values ranged from 0.958 for Uranoscopus bicinctus Temminkc & Schlegel, 1843 to 0.983 for Uranoscopus chinensis Guichenot, 1882 and “b” values ranged from 2.832 for U. bicinctus to 3. 402 Synodus indicus (Day, 1873).This study provides a new maximum length data for three species (Uranoscopus bicinctus Temminkc & Schlegel, 1843; Uranoscopus chinensis Guichenot, 1882 and Uranoscopus marmoratus Cuvier, 1829).  相似文献

Length‐weight relationships (LWRs) were estimated for four fish species [Schizopygopsis anteroventris Wu & Tsao, 1989, Schizothorax lissolabiatus Tsao, 1964, Triplophysa markehenensis (Zhu & Wu, 1981) and Triplophysa siluroides (Herzenstein, 1888)] from the Yellow River. Length‐weight relationships are described for 77 fish species belonging to eight families and 56 genera from the Chishui River, a protected tributary of the upper Yangtze River, China. Length–weight relationships for 56 species were unknown to FishBase and new maximum lengths are recorded for 44 species. Length‐weight relationships of 4 fish species collected from a seagrass Zostera marina bed in Koje Bay on the southern coast of Korea were analyzed. The fish samples were captured using a seine net (mesh size 6 mm) at water depth of approximately 1.5 meters during low tide. Fishes were collected 8 times from summer 2016 to spring 2017. The regression parameter b varied between 2.47 for Favonigobius gymnauchen and 3.03 for Ditrema temminckii temminckii.  相似文献

The length‐weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for five Chinese endemic fish species caught by electrofishing, cast nets (mesh size 1 cm) and gillnets (mesh size 4 cm) in the Hongshui River during June and July 2011 and October to November 2012.
