为筛选出高效防治黑翅土白蚁的天然植物精油,减少有机合成农药的使用,该文研究了大蒜精油、肉桂油、丁香油和印楝素油四种植物精油对黑翅土白蚁的触杀效果和驱避作用。结果表明:大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油的浓度为5和10 mg·m L~(-1)时,处理2 h后,黑翅土白蚁的校正死亡率达100%,而相同浓度的印楝素油和对照处理的黑翅土白蚁校正死亡率低于5%。随着处理时间延长,浓度为1.25和2.5 mg·m L~(-1)的大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油处理6 h时,黑翅土白蚁的校正死亡率仍达100%,而此时对应的印楝素油和对照处理的黑翅土白蚁校正死亡率仅为10%,说明大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油对黑翅土白蚁具有较强的触杀效果。大蒜精油、丁香油和肉桂油在处理黑翅土白蚁2 h后LC_(50)值(半致死量)分别为1.572、1.05和1.03mg·m L~(-1),说明肉桂油对黑翅土白蚁的毒性相对最大,触杀效果最好。此外,10 mg·m L~(-1)的大蒜精油、肉桂油、丁香油和印楝素油的驱避试验表明,处理4、6、8和12 h后,大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油三精油处理区的黑翅土白蚁数均显著低于对照区的,驱避率总体93%,而对应的印楝素油的驱避率总体28.5%,表明大蒜精油、丁香油和肉桂油三种植物精油对黑翅土白蚁均有显著的驱避活性。综上可知,四种植物精油中大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油在防治黑翅土白蚁方面应用潜力很好,是开发绿色环保白蚁防治药剂的可选材料。  相似文献

Summary Liverworts are characterized by the possession of typical cell elements, the oil bodies. In the submerse, thalloid liverwortRiella helicophylla (Sphaerocarpales) oil bodies are existing in idioblastic cells only, called oil body cells. Each oil body cell contains only one oil body. The oil body originates from small vacuoles. Their membranes are extremely high in contrast and asymmetric. The lipophilic substances are probably produced inside the oil bodies. At the end of the development of an oil body cell lipophilic and hydrophilic material will be separated from each other inside the oil body. The result is an oil body, consisting of one large spherical oil globule surrounded by a thin layer of hydrophilic matrix.

以甘蓝型油菜(Brassica napus L.)含油量较高的品种‘ZS11’、含油量中等的品种‘Westar’和‘Topas’以及含油量较低的品种‘ZS10’为实验材料,通过超微结构观察和统计,比较分析不同品种种子中油体形态、大小和数量的差异。研究结果显示,品种‘ZS11’种子子叶细胞油体排列致密,形态较小,大部分油体的直径低于1 μm;而在含油量中等或较低的品种中,种子子叶细胞油体排列均显疏松,其中‘Westar’和‘Topas’的油体较大,而‘ZS10’的油体大小不一。本研究还通过双向电泳分析进一步检测了‘Westar’和‘ZS11’种子中总蛋白和油体蛋白的差异表达情况。结果显示,‘Westar’和‘ZS11’种子总蛋白双向电泳图谱中,表达量具有2倍以上差异的蛋白质点共有57个;其中在‘Westar’中特异表达的种子总蛋白质点有24个,在‘ZS11’中有23个。在上述2个品种油体蛋白双向电泳图谱中,表达量具有2倍以上差异的蛋白质点共有52个,在品种‘Westar’中特异表达的有2个,‘ZS11’中有13个。表明不同含油量的油菜品种种子在油体的结构和蛋白组份上均存在差异。  相似文献

几种典型植物精油的化学成分与其抗菌活性   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
【目的】植物精油萃取自天然植物, 因具有抗菌活性, 近年来受到广泛关注。论文的目的是分析植物精油的化学成分, 测试其抗菌活性, 并研究其化学成分与抗菌活性之间的联系。【方法】实验选取了肉桂、山苍子、丁香、香茅、迷迭香和大蒜精油等6种典型植物精油, 通过气质联用分析方法研究了其化学组分, 并通过污染食物技术研究了其对黑曲霉和绳状青霉的抗真菌活性, 以及对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的抗细菌活性。【结果】气质联用分析结果表明, 肉桂、山苍子、香茅和迷迭香等4种植物精油的化学成分主要是醛类和醇类, 丁香精油的主要化学成分是丁香油酚, 大蒜精油化学成分基本上都是含硫的醚类, 其中二烯丙基三硫醚(大蒜素)含量最高。抗菌活性结果显示, 不同植物精油的抗菌活性不同, 6种植物精油的抗真菌活性由强到弱依次为: 肉桂>大蒜>丁香>山苍子=香茅>迷迭香, 抗细菌活性由强到弱依次为: 肉桂>山苍子>丁香>香茅=迷迭香>大蒜。【结论】植物精油的抗真菌、细菌活性与其化学组分密切相关, 肉桂、山苍子、香茅和迷迭香等4种精油的抗菌活性可能主要与其化学成分中的醛类和醇类有关, 丁香精油较高的抗菌活性可能主要源于丁香油酚; 大蒜精油具有高效的抗真菌活性主要源于其化学成分中的含硫醚。不同植物精油化学成分不同, 抗真菌、细菌活性也不同, 表明其可能有不同的抗真菌与抗细菌机制。  相似文献

Tomato grey mould has been a great concern during tomato production. The in vitro antifungal activity of vapours emitted from four plant essential oils (EOs) (cinnamon oil, fennel oil, origanum oil, and thyme oil) were evaluated during in vitro conidial germination and mycelial growth of Botrytis cinerea, the causal agent of grey mould. Cinnamon oil vapour was the most effective in suppressing conidial germination, whereas the four EOs showed similar activities regarding inhibiting mycelial growth in dose-dependent manners. The in planta protection effect of the four EO vapours was also investigated by measuring necrotic lesions on tomato leaves inoculated by B. cinerea. Grey mould lesions on the inoculated leaves were reduced by the vapours from cinnamon oil, origanum oil and thyme oil at different levels, but fennel oil did not limit the spread of the necrotic lesions. Decreases in cuticle defect, lipid peroxidation, and hydrogen peroxide production in the B. cinerea-inoculated leaves were correlated with reduced lesions by the cinnamon oil vapours. The reduced lesions by the cinnamon oil vapour were well matched with arrested fungal proliferation on the inoculated leaves. The cinnamon oil vapour regulated tomato defence-related gene expression in the leaves with or without fungal inoculation. These results suggest that the plant essential oil vapours, notably cinnamon oil vapour, can provide eco-friendly alternatives to manage grey mould during tomato production.  相似文献

Background

Rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) is an important oil crop in the world, and increasing its oil content is a major breeding goal. The studies on seed structure and characteristics of different oil content rapeseed could help us to understand the biological mechanism of lipid accumulation, and be helpful for rapeseed breeding.

Methodology/Principal Findings

Here we report on the seed ultrastructure of an ultrahigh oil content rapeseed line YN171, whose oil content is 64.8%, and compared with other high and low oil content rapeseed lines. The results indicated that the cytoplasms of cotyledon, radicle, and aleuronic cells were completely filled with oil and protein bodies, and YN171 had a high oil body organelle to cell area ratio for all cell types. In the cotyledon cells, oil body organelles comprised 81% of the total cell area in YN171, but only 53 to 58% in three high oil content lines and 33 to 38% in three low oil content lines. The high oil body organelle to cotyledon cell area ratio and the cotyledon ratio in seed were the main reasons for the ultrahigh oil content of YN171. The correlation analysis indicated that oil content is significantly negatively correlated with protein content, but is not correlated with fatty acid composition.

Conclusions/Significance

Our results indicate that the oil content of YN171 could be enhanced by increasing the oil body organelle to cell ratio for some cell types. The oil body organelle to seed ratio significantly highly positively correlates with oil content, and could be used to predict seed oil content. Based on the structural analysis of different oil content rapeseed lines, we estimate the maximum of rapeseed oil content could reach 75%. Our results will help us to screen and identify high oil content lines in rapeseed breeding.  相似文献

Attalea colenda, a palm tree native to the coastal plain of western Ecuador, produces from one to four infructescences per tree every year, each with an average of 5065 fruits. The oil content of the seeds is 56.9% dry weight. Kernel oil production per infructescence is 7–16 kg. A hectare with 50 trees can produce between 0.35 and 3.2 tons of oil per year. The kernel oil is chemically similar to coconut oil and and kernel oil from the African oil palm. AimsTo determine whether beta-endorphin contributes to the ingestion of and preference for dietary oil, we examined the relationship between the dynamics of beta-endorphin, before and after the ingestion of corn oil, and the intake volume of corn oil.Main methodsRats were offered 5% corn oil for 20 min for 5 consecutive days so they could acquire a preference for corn oil. On day 6, seven groups of rats were presented with the oil for defined time periods, and we measured the beta-endorphin levels in the serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) before and after the presentation of corn oil as well as the consumed volume of corn oil at defined time points.Key findingsBeta-endorphin levels in serum and CSF were significantly increased 15 min after the ingestion of corn oil, followed by a rapid decrease and maintenance at the basal level throughout the rest of the experimental period. The intake of corn oil was the lowest in the time period of 15–30 min, when the beta-endorphin level reached a peak value. The intake volume of corn oil might be inversely correlated with beta-endorphin levels in serum and CSF. The pretreatment of naloxone, an antagonist of the opioid receptor, decreased the initial licking rate for corn oil and increased the latency for corn oil in the licking test.SignificanceThe beta-endorphin was rapidly released after oil ingestion, which contributed to the hedonic preference and ingestive behavior for fat.  相似文献

Aim: To compare the survival of four bacterial strains (Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) in pharmaceutical oils, including jojoba oil/tea tree oil, carbol oil, jojoba oil and sesame oil. Methods and Results: Oils were spiked with the test bacteria in a concentration of 104 CFU ml?1. Bacteria were extracted from oils with phosphate‐buffered saline containing 0·5% Tween 20. Aliquots of the pooled water layers were analysed by solid‐phase cytometry and plate counting. Plate counts dropped to zero for all test strains exposed for 24 h to three of the four oils. In contrast, significant numbers of viable cells were still detected by SPC, except in the jojoba oil/tea tree oil mixture and partly in sesame oil. Conclusions: Exposure of bacteria for 24 h to the two oils containing an antimicrobial led to a loss of their culturability but not necessarily of their viability. The antibacterial activity of the jojoba oil/tea tree oil mixture supersedes that of carbol oil. Significance and Impact of the Study: These in vitro data suggest that the jojoba oil/tea tree oil mixture more than carbol oil inhibits bacterial proliferation when used for intermittent self‐catherization.  相似文献

This research focused on the following objectives: (1) using satellite data to characterize the spatiotemporal distribution of anthropogenic oil spills from Oil Rocks Settlement, Chilov and Pirallahi Islands (2) stochastic modeling of the oil spill risk pose to water quality and shoreline ecosystems, and (3) validating model predictions using satellite images. 165 satellite images acquired by SENTINEL-1A, LANDSAT-8, RADARSAT, ENVISAT and ERS sensors between 1996 and 2015 were used for the detection of oil spills using object-based classification and visual interpretation. Anthropogenic hotspots were observed at three oldest oil production sites with estimated oil spilling up to 1264 m3 per day and different degrees of temporal repetition of oil spills. The largest area (5639 km2) experienced 1–10 detected oil spills, while 993 km2 experienced 11–20 oil spills, 775 km2 experienced 21–50 oil spills, 208 km2 experienced 51–100 oil spills, and 36 km2 experienced 101–150 oil spills. The majority (83% or 6157 km2) of sea surface area within the combined boundary of detected oil spills (7422 km2) had a 50% or greater chance of oil spill contamination. Approximately, 6% (44 km of 751 km) of shoreline had a 50% or greater probability of contamination with land use classes sensitive to pollution.  相似文献

Shrimp waste is an important source of natural carotenoid. Studies were carried out to determine the extraction yield of shrimp waste carotenoids in different vegetable oils. Highest yield was obtained by extraction using refined sunflower oil compared to groundnut oil, gingelly oil, mustard oil, soy oil, coconut oil and rice bran oil. The extraction yield of carotenoids in sunflower oil was significantly influenced by level of oil to waste (p < 0.05), time (p < 0.01) and temperature (p < 0.001) of heating waste with oil before centrifugation to separate pigmented oil. A regression equation was derived for carotenoid yield as a function of time of heating, temperature of heating and oil level to waste. The optimized conditions for extraction of shrimp waste carotenoids in sunflower oil were determined to be oil level to waste of 2, temperature of 70 degrees C and heating time of 150 min.  相似文献

Mineral oils have been historically favoured over plant oils for insect pest control in horticultural crops because of their greater efficacy. Recently the increased pressure for environmentally sustainable pest management strategies has renewed interest in the use of plant oils and also in the reasons for differences in efficacy between plant and mineral oils. Efficacy of canola and mineral oils were compared for two modes of action: asphyxia in control of Saissetia oleae on olives and as an oviposition deterrent in control of Phyllocnistis citrella on lemons. On olives both canola and mineral oil treatments significantly reduced the number of black scale in comparison to the control but mineral oil reduced the number of black scale significantly more than canola oil. When oils were applied to lemons as a preventative spray, concentrations of canola oil above 0.5% significantly reduced the number of P. citrella mines per leaf compared to the control and there were no significant differences between any concentration above 0.5% canola oil and 0.5% mineral oil. Canola oil applied at a concentration of 0.5% was significantly less effective than mineral oil applied at the same concentration. Efficacy of canola oil was found to be lower than that of mineral oil in all experiments, but the higher efficacy of mineral oil was more pronounced in suffocation of S. oleae than in deterrence of P. citrella oviposition. Our results indicate that even though canola oil has very different molecular structures than mineral oils the resulting physical characteristics of canola oil, primarily high boiling point and viscosity, may contribute to their lower efficacy against arthropod pests. However, low phytotoxicity of canola oil indicates that the chemical structure of molecules contained in canola oil had much more influence on processes on the plant surface than the physical characteristics of the oil.  相似文献

The effect of oxidation products of shale kerogen (high-molecular-weight acids with 6–22 carbon atoms) on biodegradation of oil and oil products in soil and water was studied. High-molecular-weight acids (HMWA) not only affected the layer of oil and/or oil products and dispersed it into small particles, but also stimulated growth of Rhodococcus erythropolis VKM AS-1339D, degraders of oil and oil products. Addition of 0.001–0.003% HMWA to a medium to be purified from oil products increased the extent of bacterial biodegradation by a factor of 1.1–5.0.  相似文献

Oleogels were prepared from extra virgin olive oil, corn oil, sunflower oil, and flaxseed oil with a mixture of β-sitosterol and stearic acid (Sit1:SA4, w/w) at concentrations of 15 and 20 g/100 g oil. The prepared oleogels were characterized by different methods to study the influence of oil type on the oleogel properties. The oil type influenced the colour and appearance of the oleogel. The flaxseed oil based oleogel showed lower oil loss and higher firmness than those of other oils based oleogels. The increase of gelator mixture from 15 to 20 g/100 g oil reduced the oil loss and improved the firmness of oleogel samples. The microscopy and small-angle x-ray scattering analyses showed different microstructures and crystallographic reflections for oleogels prepared from different oil types. Also, the oil type and concentration of gelator mixture influenced the melting and crystallization enthalpies of oleogel. Furthermore, different oils based oleogels showed varying values of viscosity, storage modulus (G’), and loss modulus (G”). Therefore, it can be concluded that the oil type and concentration of gelator influence the functional properties of oleogel and the flaxseed oil resulted in oleogel with good properties compared with other oils used in the study.  相似文献

Male Wistar rats (12 rats/group) were fed a diet containing 8 wt % coconut oil or groundnut oil or cod-liver oil for a total period of 8 weeks. The diets were also supplemented with 2 wt % groundnut oil for providing essential fatty acids. During the last 2 weeks, 6 rats form each group were additionally given curcumin (30 mg/kg body wt/day) or capsaicin (5 mg/kg body wt/day) in 1 ml groundnut oil. The peritoneal macrophages from rats fed cod-liver oil diet secreted lower levels of lysosomal enzymes collagenase, elastase and hyaluronidase as compared to those from rats fed coconut oil or groundnut oil diets. Curcumin and capsaicin significantly lowered the secretion of these lysosomal enzymes from macrophages in animals given coconut oil or groundnut oil diet. Macrophages from rats fed cod-liver oil secreted lower amounts of prostaglandin E2, 6-keto PGF1a, leukotrienes B4and C4and also incorporated lesser amounts of [3H]-arachidonic acid as compared to those given coconut oil or groundnut oil diets. Curcumin and capsaicin lowered the secretion of these eicosanoids and decreased the incorporation of [3H]-arachidonic acid in macrophage lipids. However curcumin and capsaicin significantly increased the secretion of 6-keto PGF1ain all the groups of animals. These studies indicated that dietary cod-liver oil (rich in n-3 fatty acids), and spice principles curcumin and capsaicin can lower the secretory functions of macrophages in a beneficial manner.  相似文献

Magnolia sirindhorniae Noot. & Chalermglin produces fragrant flowers. The volatile oil secretary cells, quantity and quality as well as antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of the oils extracted from buds and flowers, have been investigated. The distribution of essential oil secretory cell in bud and flower revealed that the density and size of the oil cells were significantly higher in flowers compared to buds. In different floral parts, carpel has a higher oil cell density followed by gynophore and tepal. The histochemical analysis revealed the essential oil is synthesized in oil secretory cells. The volatile oil yield was 0.25 % in the buds and 0.50 % in flowers. GC/FID and GC/MS analysis identified 33 compounds contributing 83.2–83.5 % of the total essential oil composition. Linalool is the main constituent contributing 58.9 % and 51.0 % in the buds and flowers oils, respectively. The essential oil extracted from the flowers showed higher antimicrobial efficacy against Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus. Similarly, the essential oil isolated from the flowers depicts higher free radical scavenging, and antioxidant activity compared to buds’ oil.  相似文献

Summary Microbial enhance oil recovery utilizes microorganisms and their metabolic products to improve the recovery of crude oil from reservoir rocks. In this study an anaerobic bacterium, Clostridium acetobutylicum was injected into a one-dimensional model reservoir containing a Turkish heavy oil (Raman oil) at 38° C. This injection was followed by water flooding after a suitable shut-in period. Comparison of oil recovery results of pure water flooding runs with experiments in which bacterial concentration and shut-in periods were varied indicated increases in oil recovery of about 12% of the original oil in place. 为进一步明确冬青油(wintergreen oil)与肉桂油(cinnamon oil)对蚊虫的生物活性, 本研究采用浸液法、 “Y”型嗅觉仪法和密闭三角瓶熏蒸法, 分别测定了两种精油对淡色库蚊Culex pipiens pallens幼虫的毒杀作用以及对成虫的驱避和熏杀活性。结果显示: 肉桂油和冬青油对淡色库蚊幼虫均具有较强的毒杀作用, 处理24 h的LC50分别为71.87 mg/L和 102.83 mg/L。在0.5 μL的供试剂量下, 冬青油与肉桂油在20 min内对淡色库蚊的驱避率均在80%以上, 显示了较好的驱蚊活性。冬青油对淡色库蚊具有明显的熏蒸击倒作用, 12 μL/L浓度下的KT50为3.97 min; 而肉桂油则具有较好的熏蒸致死活性, 熏蒸5 h的LC50 为0.31 μL/L。冬青油与肉桂油按1∶1体积比混配后对淡色库蚊表现出较好的击倒和致死效果。冬青油和肉桂油既对淡色库蚊幼虫具有较强的毒杀作用, 又对淡色库蚊雌成虫表现出较好的驱避和熏杀活性, 具有开发成为植物源蚊虫防控剂的潜力。  相似文献

Premise of the Study

Nearly all seed plants rely on stored seed reserves before photosynthesis can commence. Natural selection for seed oil traits must have occurred over 319 million years of evolution since the first seed plant ancestor. Accounting for the biogeographic distribution of seed oil traits is fundamental to understanding the mechanisms of adaptive evolution in seed plants. However, the evolution of seed oils is poorly understood. We provide evidence of the adaptive nature of seed oil traits at the intraspecific and interspecific levels in Brassicaceae—an oilseed‐rich and economically important plant family.

Methods

Univariate statistics, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression, generalized linear mixed model analysis, and phylogenetic autocorrelation tests on seed oil traits of 360 accessions of Arabidopsis thaliana and 216 Brassicaceae species helped provide evidence of the adaptive nature of seed oil traits.

Key Results

At higher latitudes, both seed oil content and unsaturated fatty acids have selective advantages in Arabidopsis thaliana (intraspecific‐level), while only unsaturated fatty acids have selective advantages across 216 Brassicaceae species (interspecific‐level). The seed oil patterns fit within the theoretical framework of the gradient model. Seed oil content increases significantly from temperate to subtropical to tropical regions in Brassicaceae herbs. Absence of phylogenetic signals for seed oil traits and high seed oil content in four tribes of Brassicaceae were observed.

Conclusions

Multiple seed oil traits are adaptive in nature and follow a gradient model. Consistent evolutionary patterns of seed oil traits were observed at the intraspecific and interspecific levels in Brassicaceae. Seed oil traits change with latitude and across biomes, suggesting selection. The absence of a phylogenetic signal for seed oil traits and the occurrence of high seed oil content in four Brassicaceae tribes provides evidence of the adaptive nature of seed oil traits in Brassicaceae.  相似文献

Rice bran oil is known as wonder oil and it is the most important vegetable oil in Asia. Rice bran oil is extracted from bran that is the outer hard layer of rice. It is an emerging category in edible oil with a lot of nutritional properties and health benefits. Rice bran oil is heart-friendly, boosts up immunity, and prevents from other diseases occurring commonly in Pakistan. The current study aimed to stabilize rice bran oil through different probiotic isolates and to assess the nutritional content of rice bran oil after stabilization. The study was aimed to inactivate naturally occurring lipases that can hydrolyze oil into glycerol and free fatty acid which is a serious problem that gives it a rancid taste and smell. Antilipase activity was used to inactivate naturally occurring lipases that are a huge threat to the stabilization process. The fermentation process utilizes antilipase activity without affecting the nutritional value of oil. Lactobacillus strains were used for the stabilization of rice bran oil. Rice bran oil was extracted in the Soxhlet apparatus. The probiotic lab isolates Lactobacillus delbrueckii S2, Lactobacillus casei S5 and Lactobacillus plantarum S13 were applied to it to increase its shelf life and prevent oxidative rancidity. The extraction temperature of rice bran oil was maintained above 40 °C to inhibit lipase activity. Rice bran oil samples were stored at refrigeration temperature to arrest lipase activity. Probiotics maintained acidic pH to keep oil stabilization. Qualitative analysis was done to confirm rice bran oil stabilization. Determination of Free Fatty Acid (FFA) and saponification value confirmed that oxidative rancidity of rice bran oil was controlled by probiotics. FFA count was less than 10% and Saponification Value (SV) was 180. GC analysis was performed to analyze the FFA profile. Gas Chromatography results have shown 3 fatty acids. Statistical analysis has shown non-significant effect on different incubation temperatures of Lactobacillus isolates. Among the biological methods of stabilization, the use of probiotics is a novel concept and recommended for commercial application.  相似文献
