A new genus, Nhambikuara Freitas, Barbosa & Zacca gen. nov., and species, Nhambikuara cerradensis Freitas, Barbosa & Zacca sp. nov., of the highly diverse Neotropical butterfly subtribe Euptychiina are described. Nhambikuara cerradensissp. nov. is the type species for the genus, and Euptychia mima Butler, 1867 is also transferred to the new genus, as Nhambikuara mima (Butler, 1867) comb. nov., from the genus Zischkaia Forster, 1964. The taxonomy, phylogenetic relationships, geographic distribution and natural history of species of the genus are also discussed.http://zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:41AD7568-3490-4F63-A019-32D5592A8C44  相似文献

The genus Clerodendrum Linn., originally belonging to Verbenaceae, was assigned to Lamiaceae by APG (Angiosperm Phylogeny Group) Ⅱ. Seven abietane diterpenoids (1–7) along with three anthraquinones (810) and one neolignan (11) were isolated and identified from the stems of Clerodendrum trichotomum Thunb.. Among them, compounds 4, 6 and 811 were reported from the genus Clerodendrum Linn. for the first time. Compounds 1, 3 and 7 were obtained from this species for the first time. Isolation of abietane diterpenoids from C. trichotomum could further comfirm that the genus Clerodendrum belongs to Lamiaceae rather than Verbenaceae.  相似文献

A new genus and species of Euptychiina (Satyrinae), Cristalinaia vitoria Mota, Zacca & Freitas gen. et sp. nov., is described based on three specimens collected in the region of the Cristalino River, Alta Floresta, Mato Grosso, Brazil. This rare species is known only from this region, where it flies inside the dense bamboo patches typical of that area. The last instar larva and the pupa are described; the larva was observed feeding on mature leaves of the common bamboo Guadua aff. paniculata Munro.urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:D61EDE8D-CAE9-41C6-B24D-BB789873566E  相似文献

Eighteen compounds, including four hemiterpene glycosides (14), three triterpenoid saponins (57), four triterpenes (811), five sterols (12-16) and two monoterpene glucosides (17 and 18), were isolated from the leaves of Ilex urceolatus C. B. Shang, K. S. Tang et D. Q. Du, which was identified as a new species belonging to the genus Ilex. Among them, compounds 1418 were firstly isolated from the genus Ilex, others were obtained from I. urceolatus for the first time. This work represented the initially phytochemical study on this plant. The isolated compounds have significant chemotaxonomic characteristics with the other species from this genus.  相似文献

The Neotropical genus Coussarea is species-rich and widely distributed but not well known. Seven new species are described here, documented mainly by recent botanical exploration: C. acrensis is found in western Brazil, C. boliviensis and C. mexiae in the mountains of northwestern Bolivia, and C. camposiana, C. maranonensis, C. pseudopilosula, and C. vasqueziana in Peru. The new combination C. insolita is based on Rudgea insolita from Colombia.  相似文献

Remains of Brachyodus cf. onoideus from the Ban Na Sai Basin (Thailand) are described. They correspond to the first occurrence of that genus in South Asia, and might document the latest record of the genus in the Old World. Sihongotherium from the Middle Miocene of eastern China is likely a representative of Brachyodus that was misinterpreted. To cite this article: S. Ducrocq et al., C. R. Palevol 2 (2003).  相似文献

Capparicordis, genus novum is established for Capparicordis crotonoides, C. tweediana, and C. yunckeri, all new combinations here established for three former species of the New World Capparis, Sect. Colicodendron. The first two are xerophytic shrubs or small trees easily separated by flower color, and the last is a grapple-hook scrambler of which flowers are unknown. They have allopatric distributions: C. crotonoides is found in Peru and Ecuador west of the Andes, C. tweediana from Argentina to Bolivia and Paraguay east of the Andes, whereas C. yunckeri is a rare, local endemic from the arid woodlands near Coyoles in northern Honduras. All have stellate pubescence, broadly cordate to subrotund-reniform leaves with (sub)palmate venation at the leaf blade base; a valvate calyx with closed aestivation; baccate subspherical fruits dehiscent by 2–4 valves (indehiscent in C. yunckeri?); cochleate-reniform seeds surrounded by a pulp-derived sarcotesta densely infiltrated by unbranched, unicellular hairs from the testa; and snow-white embryos. Capparicordis crotonoides has n=8 chromosomes.  相似文献

A specimen belonging to a new genus and species of fossil scorpion, Palaeoburmesebuthus grimaldii gen. n., sp. n., is described from the Upper Cretaceous amber of Myanmar (Burma). This is the first scorpion to have been found and described from Burmese amber (± 90 Myr). The new genus and species are unquestionable buthoid elements but they are assigned to an incertae familiae until further material may be available for study. To cite this article: W.R. Lourenço, C. R. Palevol 1 (2002) 97–101.  相似文献

Seventeen compounds were obtained from the extract of the whole plant of Scutellaria hainanensis C. Y. Wu. Including eleven flavonoids (1–4 and 7–13), two phenylpropanoids (16 and 17), one pyridinium derivative (5), one ester (6), one phenolic derivative (14), and one lignanoid (15). Compound 5 was a synthetic intermediate, newly identified as a natural product. The chemotaxonomic relationship between S. hainanensis C. Y. Wu and other species of genus Scutellaria were also discussed. As a result, the isolated glycoside compounds closely matched the ones obtained in other species of the genus.  相似文献

The two resin assassin bugs belonging to the tribe Ectinoderini (Hemiptera: Reduviidae: Harpactorinae) occurring in China are documented: Amulius malayus Stål, 1867 is redescribed and Ectinoderus sinicus Chen & Cai, sp. nov. is described as new. The discovery of the new species extends the distribution of the genus and the tribe northwards from tropical Southeast Asia to southern mainland China. A key to the two ectinoderine genera and species from China is provided to facilitate their identification. DNA barcodes and bionomic data are provided for the species concerned, and their conservation is briefly discussed.http://zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:A7F7402E-E9A8-4FAD-B72A-4B1C9B2A7276.  相似文献
