2002~2004年,在广州地区应用A-3型松褐天牛Monochamus alternatus Hope(鞘翅目Coleoptera天牛科Cerambycidae)引诱剂诱捕鞘翅目昆虫,结果表明:A-3型松褐天牛引诱剂具有较广的诱虫谱,可以诱捕到鞘翅目中10个科48种昆虫;松树的主要蛀干害虫是松褐天牛、赤梗天牛Arhopalus unicolor Ganhan、马尾松角胫象Shirahoshizo patruelis Voss、松瘤象Hyposipalus gigas Fabricius和松纵坑切梢小蠢Tomicus piniperda Linnaeus等小蠹虫;进一步分离所诱捕的松褐天牛及其他松树主要蛀干害虫携带松材线虫Bursaphelenchus xylophilus Nickle的情况,发现松褐天牛与赤梗天牛均携带松材线虫,其中松褐天牛是松材线虫病最重要的传播媒介.  相似文献

于2004~2006年间对浙江省乐清市林木蛀干害虫种类进行调查,结果显示该辖区共有47种蛀干害虫,隶属于8科41属。重点对松墨天牛Monochamus alternatus Hope、削尾材小蠹Xyleborus mutilatus Blandford等的成虫活动期林间种群数量动态进行监测。结果表明,松墨天牛林间活动期为4月下旬至11月中旬,6月上旬为高峰期,其诱获的成虫数占监测总数的41.1%,初步显示该虫在浙南地区松林内的种群数量变化规律。同时,还初步了解到削尾材小蠹成虫的活动规律。  相似文献

松墨天牛Monochamus alternatus Hope是传播松材线虫病的主要媒介,引诱剂是抑制松墨天牛种群数量的无公害调控有效方式之一。本研究通过在中国浙江富阳的林间试验测定了6种小蠹类引诱剂与1种天牛引诱剂不同组合联用对松墨天牛成虫以及其他蛀干害虫的诱捕效果。结果表明: 横坑切梢小蠹Tomicus minor引诱剂3-carene-10-ol、云杉八齿小蠹Ips typographus引诱剂2-methyl-3-buten-2-ol、欧洲榆小蠹Scolytus multistriatus引诱剂4-methyl-3-heptanol和纵坑切梢小蠹T. piniperda引诱剂verbenol分别与松墨天牛引诱剂联用后,对松墨天牛的引诱效果无显著性差异(P<0.05)。西部松大小蠹Dendroctonus brevicomis 引诱剂exo-brevicomin或黄杉大小蠹D. pseudotsugae引诱剂1-methylcyclohex-2-en-l-ol与松墨天牛引诱剂联用后对松墨天牛的诱捕效果有减弱的趋势。另外,与单独使用中国天牛引诱剂相比,小蠹类引诱剂与其联用后在诱捕其他蛀干害虫的种类和个体数量上均有所减少。  相似文献

松墨天牛Monochamus alternatus是次期性蛀干害虫,也是松材线虫病的主要传播媒介,廓清该害虫在秦巴林区不同寄主上的危害程度和发生规律,对于控制松材线虫病的扩散蔓延具有重要意义.本研究对秦巴林区遭受松材线虫病严重危害的3种主要松树(油松Pinus tabuliformis、华山松P.armandii和马尾松P.massoniana)进行了冬季疫木野外解析,并在统计不同胸径、不同高度疫木树干上松墨天牛侵入孔和幼虫数量的基础上,采用聚集度指标分析方法,对该害虫在不同寄主上的危害差异进行了比较研究.结果表明,松墨天牛在3种寄主上的危害程度具有显著差异,以华山松受害最重,其次分别为马尾松和油松;越冬幼虫在油松上主要危害皮下1~2 cm的边材;在华山松和马尾松上危害比较多样,以髓心部位受害最重,其后依次为心材、边材和树皮;在油松和华山松上,松墨天牛主要在树干7m以下部分危害,而在马尾松上主要危害树干7m以上部分,且虫口数量均与寄主胸径呈显著正相关.松墨天牛侵入孔和越冬幼虫在不同寄主树干上均呈聚集性分布.本研究揭示了松墨天牛在秦巴林区3种主要寄主上的危害规律,对于进一步开展大尺度地理范围松墨天牛的寄主选择性及危害规律研究提供了基础信息,也为秦巴林区松墨天牛的有效防治和松材线虫病的蔓延控制提供了新的重要信息.  相似文献

【目的】松墨天牛是松树的重要蛀干害虫,也是林业重大外来入侵种松材线虫的媒介昆虫。虽然松墨天牛和松材线虫互作的化学生态和分子进化机制受到人们的广泛关注,但miRNA等表观遗传因子在天牛—线虫互作中的作用未见报道。【方法】使用illumina HiSeq 2000平台进行miRNA高通量测序,得到4个携带线虫的天牛miRNA库和4个未携带线虫的天牛miRNA库。此外,对鉴定出的miRNA进行了差异表达分析,并对这些miRNA的靶基因进行了GO注释和KEGG通路富集分析。【结果】在携带线虫的天牛表皮、脂肪体、中肠和气管样本中分别鉴定出780、802、617和762个miRNA;在未携带松材线虫的天牛的不同组织样本中分别鉴定出784、723、713和837个miRNA。在携带松材线虫的松墨天牛中,某些已知miRNA表达量会显著升高,如miR-14、miR279和miR-312等。差异表达miRNA的功能大多指向代谢、免疫等方面。【结论】miRNA在松墨天牛和松材线虫互作中起着重要的调控作用。  相似文献

为验证视觉信息在松墨天牛Monochamus alternatus Hope成虫寄主选择中的作用,并探索其对寄主健康状况的偏好,本文通过林间对寄主云南松针叶的色彩比对,选取国际标准色卡对应卡色作为视觉信号源,对松墨天牛雌、雄成虫的视觉选择进行了研究。研究表明,松墨天牛雌虫选择最多的颜色分别是:棕红色(选择率26.67%),赭石棕(选择率20.00%),栗棕色(选择率16.67%);松墨天牛雄虫选择最多的颜色为:信号褐(选择率26.67%),棕红色(选择率23.33%),栗棕色(选择率20.00%)。雌、雄成虫均偏好选择棕褐色系,对应于林间衰弱和濒死寄主针叶呈现的颜色,说明松墨天牛成虫通过视觉判断偏好攻击长势衰弱的林木,属于次期性蛀干害虫。  相似文献

本研究调查了人工松林中狒狒结群大小和家区面积与树木剥皮率的关系。于2003年9月至2004年8月间每月对每个狒狒结群进行5天观察,采用足迹计数法统计狒狒结群大小,对不同结群狒狒家区内具有新旧剥皮的树木数进行统计,以方差分析和回归分析狒狒结群大小和家区面积与树木剥皮之间的关系。结果表明:定居和访问松林的狒狒结群分布型不受结群和家区大小的影响而与季节有关。树木剥皮与狒狒结群大小和家区面积均无相关性,特别是雨季更是如此,揭示狒狒对树木剥皮不是对食物和水源短缺的反应。树木剥皮具有很大的月份间变异,与狒狒群定居和访问利用松林亦无相关。树木剥皮率与狒狒结群大小的关系说明树木剥皮是由于狒狒结群中少数个体的偶然剥皮行为造成的。  相似文献

Two potential biofuel resources, Douglas-fir and Loblolly pine bark, were subjected to extensive chemical and compositional analysis. The barks were initially extracted with dichloromethane, and the resulting extracted compounds were characterized by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometric analysis. Characterization of the major bark biocomponents indicated that Douglas-fir and Loblolly pine bark contained 22.5 and 13.2 % tannins, 44.2 and 43.5 % lignin, 16.5 and 23.1 % cellulose, and 7.6 and 14.1 % hemicellulose, respectively. Of particular interest is the high content of tannins and lignin, which make these barks excellent potential precursors for bio-oils and/or other value-added chemicals. 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) was used to characterize the chemical structure of the lignin and tannins. These samples were also analyzed by 31P NMR after phosphitylation of the hydroxyl groups in lignin and tannins. The NMR spectral data indicated that the lignin in both barks contained p-hydroxyphenyl (h) and guaiacyl (g) of lignin monomers with an h/g ratio of 10:90 and 22:78 for Douglas-fir and Loblolly pine bark, respectively. Gel permeation chromatography was used to analyze the molecular weight distributions of extracted tannins, isolated cellulose, and ball-milled lignin. The pyrolysis of Douglas-fir and pine bark at 500°C in a tubular reactor generated 48.2 and 45.2 % of total oil, of which the light oil contents are 14.1 and 20.7 % and heavy oil are 34.1 and 24.4 %. Similarly, fast pyrolysis at 375°C yielded 56.1 and 49.8 % of total oil for Douglas-fir and pine bark, respectively.  相似文献

Phanerochaete chrysosporium was grown in fermentors on NaOH-extracted maple, pine, and cedar barks at the optimum substrate concentration of 1% (w/v). The yields (mg protein/liter) on maple, pine, and cedar were 1500, 1200, and 880, respectively, which are probably due to the different lignin contents of the barks. Lignin is not utilized. The productivities at 30°C obtained for pine (4.07 × 10?2 g protein/liter hr) and cedar (2.63 × 10?2 g protein/liter hr) barks were greater than for maple (2.63 × 10?2 g protein/liter hr). The substrate (bark) was the limiting component of the fermentation. Over the 26–38°C temperature range protein productivity increased by a factor of three (1.55 × 10?2 vs. 4.61 × 10?2 g protein/liter hr) for maple bark. Low agitation rates resulted in an overproduction of cellulase and reduced levels of microbial protein.  相似文献

Spatial and temporal distributions of eggs laid by the pine weevil Hylobius abietis (L.) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) were studied by taking root and soil samples around pine stumps on a clear-cutting in central Sweden. In addition, first-instar larvae migrating in the soil were sampled using traps baited with host-odour. Eggs were found in the soil rather than in the bark of stump roots, which previously has been regarded as the usual oviposition site. Based on an oviposition experiment and additional field observations we conclude that eggs are laid in the bark of roots only when the surrounding material is likely to dry out. We suggest two explanations for why weevils oviposit mainly in the soil, although they are known to show stereotypic behaviour when inserting eggs in stump roots: (1) egg predation by other arthropods or by conspecifics is avoided, and (2) newly hatched pine weevil larvae are better than ovipositing females at locating suitable sites for larval feeding.  相似文献

Summary The thermal properties of four different types of bark were investigated on twentyfour central European tree species using thermocouples. Tree species with white bark avoid overheating of their surface by reflection of the radiation. Species with fissured and scaly barks shade inner parts of their bark. Some tree species with fissured barks show high insulation across the bark. Smooth and thin barks show no adaptation to avoid overheating. These tree species (in central Europe e.g. Fagus sylvatica) have to form closed stands and are not able to occur in open stands as tree species with structured or white bark types.The arthropod fauna of the same bark types was studied on six tree species using three collecting methods. The microclimate on the bark determines the number per cm2 of some species, some are active during winter, and other tend to aptery and reproduce parthenogenetically. On smooth bark one species dominates, whereas a highly diverse fauna lives on fissured barks. The occurrence of species on bark is determined by the microstructure, microclimate and consistence of the epiphyts. If tree species alter within forest ecosystems the dominant species on bark will persist. Specialists of fissured barks will die out if tree species with smooth bark (Fagus sylvatica) form the central European forest.  相似文献

Ips acuminatus is a common group of bark beetles that infest and damage pine and spruce trees. As a part of research for controlling this insect pest, the adhesive organs on the tarsal appendages were examined using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) to reveal the microstructural characteristics of its biological attachment system. In addition, we also demonstrate their ability to act as external carriers of pathogens. This bark beetle has a characteristic attachment apparatus to move both smooth and rough surfaces. The claws are connected with a pretarsal segment, and their apical diverged hooks are developed to hold rough substrates; however, landing on smooth surfaces is achieved by means of three groups of hairy tarsal pads. The adhesive pads are basically composed of the flattened tip setae usually with a spatula-shaped endplate. Although this bark beetle did not have mycangial cavities, yeast-like spores were concentrated at the invaginated surface of legs where cuticular hairs are densely packed. In particular, the base stalk of the adhesive pad had a sufficient space to accept spores during the dynamic movement of tenent setae.  相似文献

Beech bark disease (BBD) results in high levels of initial mortality, leaving behind survivor trees that are greatly weakened and deformed. The disease is initiated by feeding activities of the invasive beech scale insect, Cryptococcus fagisuga, which creates entry points for infection by one of the Neonectria species of fungus. Without scale infestation, there is little opportunity for fungal infection. Using scale eggs to artificially infest healthy trees in heavily BBD impacted stands demonstrated that these trees were resistant to the scale insect portion of the disease complex1. Here we present a protocol that we have developed, based on the artificial infestation technique by Houston2, which can be used to screen for scale-resistant trees in the field and in smaller potted seedlings and grafts. The identification of scale-resistant trees is an important component of management of BBD through tree improvement programs and silvicultural manipulation.  相似文献

Artificial infestation of seven pine species revealed that Matsucoccus josephi (Homoptera: Margarodidae) completes its development on Pinus brutia , P. eldarica and P. halepersis , whereas only a small number of the scale larvae infesting P. cunariensis and P. pined reached the second instar and none developed to the adult stage. M. josephi crawlers died while trying to feed on P. radiata and P. pinaster. Histological examination of the infested plant sections indicated that necrosis in shoot and stem barks of P. eldarica and P. halepensis occurs just before or after the scale completes its development. Injury reached the cambium, and traumatic resin ducts; parenchyma cells instead of tracheids and curved tracheids were formed. In P. brutia wound periderm was observed in the stem section but not in the shoot cortex following scale development. Wound periderm was also formed in the stem cortex of P. canariensis and P. pinena whereas no pathological changes were detected in the infested cortex of P. pinaster and P. radiata.
Mechanical lesions caused by needle punctures resulted in the production of parenchyma cells instead of tracheids in all four pine species investigated. The response of the pine cortex was non-specific; however several similarities in the response to scale infestation, such as the formation of resin ducts, were observed. We hypothesize that the response of the pine tissue to the scale saliva is a hypersensitive reaction. It is suggested that the development of Matsucoccus species on particular pine species is related to the scale's inability to trigger the defence system of the host while the larvae are feeding.  相似文献

In many bark beetles (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae), intraspecific competition is a limiting factor governing their population dynamics. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of increasing infestation densities on the breeding performance of Tomicus destruens (Wollaston), one of the main pests of Mediterranean pine forests. Six densities (ranging from 0.25 to 1.50 females   dm−2) were tested under laboratory conditions on stone pine logs, assessing the mortality of eggs, larvae, and pupae, and recording the number of emerging adults. Density significantly affected the fertile tract of the maternal galleries, i.e., those containing eggs, which was shorter at densities higher than 0.75. Numbers of eggs, larvae, pupae, and adults per female decreased markedly when density increased from 0.25 to 1.5, although differences were statistically significant only at a density of 0.75 and higher. The lowest mortality was found in larvae reared at a density of 0.25 (17.7%) and the highest in pupae at 1.5 (84.8%). Increasing density affected the pre-emergence stages in different ways, with pupae and larvae suffering the highest increases in mortality (39.5 and 163.6%, respectively). The breeding performance of T. destruens (number of eggs laid reaching adulthood) progressively decreased from 17 to 4% with increasing densities, although at low infestation, the mean number of emerging adults per dm2 of bark increased with density, showing a positive trade-off between female fecundity and female density. In conclusion, breeding densities higher than 0.75 female dm−2 decreased female fecundity and elicited high mortality, mainly in larvae.  相似文献
