在27℃条件下,以粗脚粉螨Acarus siro L.为饲料饲养观察南非盲走螨Typhlodromus(Anthoseius) transvaalensis(Nesbitt)的生长发育和繁殖情况,组建实验种群生命表。结果表明,南非盲走螨行孤雌生殖,卵、幼螨、前若螨、后若螨、成螨产卵前期各阶段发育历期分别为2.00,0.72,1.96,1.53,1.77d,完成1个世代发育需7.98d,雌成螨平均寿命14.82d、平均产卵量25.75粒,各种群生命参数分别为:净增殖率R0=25.01,世代平均周期T=13.71,内禀增长率rm=0.23,周限增长率λ=1.26,种群倍增所需日数t=2.95。采用小空间湿度控制法,测定不同湿度对南非盲走螨卵的孵化和成螨产卵的影响。结果表明,卵发育和孵化的最适湿度为75.0%~85.0%,96.0%的相对高湿度对成螨的产卵和存活均有不利影响。以橘全爪螨Panonychus citri McGregor不同螨态为猎物时,南非盲走螨对橘全爪螨幼螨的捕食量最大,日平均捕食量为5.40头,而对橘全爪螨雌成螨则几乎不取食。  相似文献

ABSTRACT: BACKGROUND: Previous studies report an increase in thoracic kyphosis after anterior approaches and a flattening of sagittal contours following posterior approaches. Difficulties with measuring sagittal parameters on radiographs are avoided with reformatted sagittal CT reconstructions due to the superior endplate clarity afforded by this imaging modality. METHODS: A prospective study of 30 Lenke 1 adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) patients receiving selective thoracoscopic anterior spinal fusion (TASF) was performed. Participants had ethically approved low dose CT scans at minimum 24 months after surgery in addition to their standard care following surgery. The change in sagittal contours on supine CT was compared to standing radiographic measurements of the same patients and with previous studies. Inter-observer variability was assessed as well as whether hypokyphotic and normokyphotic patient groups responded differently to the thoracoscopic anterior approach. RESULTS: Mean T5-12 kyphosis Cobb angle increased by 11.8 degrees and lumbar lordosis increased by 5.9 degrees on standing radiographs two years after surgery. By comparison, CT measurements of kyphosis and lordosis increased by 12.3 degrees and 7.0 degrees respectively. 95% confidence intervals for inter-observer variability of sagittal contour measurements on supine CT ranged between 5-8 degrees. TASF had a slightly greater corrective effect on patients who were hypokyphotic before surgery compared with those who were normokyphotic. CONCLUSIONS: Restoration of sagittal profile is an important goal of scoliosis surgery, but reliable measurement with radiographs suffers from poor endplate clarity. TASF significantly improves thoracic kyphosis and lumbar lordosis while preserving proximal and distal junctional alignment in thoracic AIS patients. Supine CT allows greater endplate clarity for sagittal Cobb measurements and linear relationships were found between supine CT and standing radiographic measurements. In this study, improvements in sagittal kyphosis and lordosis following surgery were in agreement with prior anterior surgery studies, and add to the current evidence suggesting that anterior correction is more capable than posterior approaches of addressing the sagittal component of both the instrumented and adjacent non instrumented segments following surgical correction of progressive Lenke 1 idiopathic scoliosis.  相似文献

The results obtained by analysis of pulse waves by means of Fourier harmonics in healthy subjects and patients with aortic insufficiency show good agreement between input impedance of the aorta and the initial segment of the femoral bed in both groups. This means that in this region there is no marked increase in impedance, which provides a favourable background for energy transfer (blood content) in the distal direction. Impedance in healthy subjects increases in vessels of the lower extremity. In patients with aortic insufficiency there is a marked decrease in amplitude of all higher harmonic frequencies. This practically means that the second harmonic is no longer the main accumulator of energy of the pulse wave as in healthy subjects, and the same is also true, to a proportionate degree, for the third, fourth and fifth harmonics.  相似文献

The levels of integration, patterns of allometric growth and size-related differences in skull dimensions of the caecilian Dermophis mexicanus were investigated by means of univariate, bivariate and multivariate statistics. The analyses indicate that (1) most but not all measurements of the skull arc more variable in adults than in juveniles; (2) growth is allometric and results in changes in shape between juveniles and adults; (3) there is a high level of integration of all variables by general size; and (4) homologous paired measurements show concordant allometric trends and are integrated beyond the sole effect of general size. These analyses provide baseline data, a set of hypotheses and a methodological framework for comparative studies of patterns of variation and integration among caecilians and among other vertebrates.  相似文献

The study reports a reconstruction of the sacrum in STS 14 based on extrapolation from the measurements of the first two sacral vertebrae of STS 14 and of the angle formed by the anterior surfaces of their vertebral bodies. Reconstruction is based on comparisons of, and extrapolation from, sacra of Pan troglodytes, Homo sapiens, and Australopithecus afarensis. The reconstructed sacrum has an anterior sacral curvature of 39°. The two ossa coxae were also completed by mirror imaging of one side by the other. With the pelvis completely reconstructed, the pelvic dimensions for the antero-posterior (AP) diameters of the pelvic inlet, midpelvis, and pelvic outlet are 85, 68, and 69 mm and the corresponding transverse (TR) diameters are 109, 88, and 103 mm, respectively. The posterior sagittal diameters in the three pelvic planes are small compared to the anterior sagittal diameters. This analysis indicates that the STS 14 pelvis is platypelloid in the three pelvic planes; i.e., all the AP diameters are smaller than the corresponding TR diameters. This makes the STS 14 pelvis similar to that to Al 288-1, save for a less pronounced degree of platypelloidy at the inlet in the former. © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

Background  

The determination of the right model structure describing a gene regulation network and the identification of its parameters are major goals in systems biology. The task is often hampered by the lack of relevant experimental data with sufficiently low noise level, but the subset of genes whose concentration levels exhibit an oscillatory behavior in time can readily be analyzed on the basis of their Fourier spectrum, known to turn complex signals into few relatively noise-free parameters. Such genes therefore offer opportunities of understanding gene regulation quantitatively.  相似文献

 Sequence-tagged-site primers, previously developed based upon black spruce (Picea mariana) cDNA sequences, were tested for their ability to direct specific amplification in two individuals of each of 12 additional conifer species. Nearly all (95–97%) of the primers functioned well in congeneric trials, while a lower proportion (21–33%) scored positively in other Pinaceae genera. Outside of the Pinaceae, amplification of homologous products was not achieved. Products from the various species often differed in size from their homologs in black spruce. In one case a large difference in size was due to the lack of an intron in a jack pine product while in several other cases the differences were due to the presence or absence of large direct repeats in the DNA sequences. Length polymorphism was occasionally evident between the two individuals examined of a given species. We investigated marker polymorphism in detail in a panel of 15 white spruce (Picea glauca) trees. Allelic segregation among haploid megagametophytes was revealed directly at 16 loci by standard agarose-gel electrophoresis without any additional manipulation of amplification products. Polymorphisms observed at 12 of these loci were exclusively co-dominant. For this subset of 12 loci, the average number of alleles was 3.2 and the average observed heterozygosity was 0.37. This study aims to find out the mapping of bioactive compounds by combinational analysis of regulatory machinery pattern study and metabolomics approach. In which we isolated a highly potent Actinobacterium dagang 5 from Gulf of Manner, which shows broad-spectrum activity against several pathogens. So the isolate was used for overall metabolic profiling studies on crude extract and phylogeny pattern analysis of NRPS A-domain, which is an important gene clusters and plays vital role in production of bioactive metabolites. The result suggests that Actinobacterium dagang 5 has the potential to produce a new type of antibacterial compounds.  相似文献

This paper presents a genetic programming system that evolves polynomial harmonic networks. These are multilayer feed-forward neural networks with polynomial activation functions. The novel hybrids assume that harmonics with non-multiple frequencies may enter as inputs the activation polynomials. The harmonics with non-multiple, irregular frequencies are derived analytically using the discrete Fourier transform. The polynomial harmonic networks have tree-structured topology which makes them especially suitable for evolutionary structural search. Empirical results show that this hybrid genetic programming system outperforms an evolutionary system manipulating polynomials, the traditional Koza-style genetic programming, and the harmonic GMDH network algorithm on processing time series.  相似文献

Summary Sobolevicanthus transvaalensis n.sp. is described from the Cape Teal, Anas capensis Gmelin, 1789, collected in the Republic of South Africa. The new species possesses 8 skrjabinoid hooks 78–88 m long (mean 85 m) and a short claviform cirrus-sac 79–143 m long and resembles S. javanensis (Davis, 1945) and S. terraereginae (Johnston, 1913). It can be distinguished from S. javanensis by its shorter cirrus-sac and smaller cirrus diameter, and by differences in the morphology of the accessory sac and vagina and in their position relative to the cirrus-sac. It can be separated from S. terraereginae on the basis of cirrus length and diameter. The differences in position along, and deviations from the midline of six landmarks on the base and face of 51 recent skulls of recorded sex and age from Middle Europe were studied. There is accordance between the average anatomical position of the landmarks and their mean vertical distances from the line connecting the two poria. The majority of the specimens show deviations from the midline predominantly towards the left half of the skull. Variation of the landmarks is discussed with respect to differing growth processes and with respect to the frequently asymmetric location of the two poria cited in the literature.  相似文献

A quick and simple technique has been developed that is suitable to quantify the concentration of most types of biosurfactants in a typical growth medium using infrared spectroscopy. The area of the peak due to the carbonyl bond of the biosurfactant was measured and compared to the area of the nitrile peak in an internal standard (anthracenecarbonitrile). This ratio showed a linear trend with the concentration of biosurfactant in the medium for concentrations from 0.2 to 3.2 g biosurfactant l–1. The presence of hydrocarbons in the media and variations in the pH of the media did not interfere with the measurements.  相似文献
