The formation of blood system adoptive reaction in many cases is defined by the type of action and the condition of hemopoietic inductive microenvironment: hemodynamics of hemopoietic tissue, functional conditions of bone marrow macrophages, mast cells and glycosaminoglycans content. The shift in hemodlobin fraction occurs in extreme conditions requiring an increased gas transport by the blood. In case of tissue lesion, lymphocytes stimulate their regeneration. Morphogenetic function of lymphoid cells may be alerted by immunomodulators. Blood cells participate in angiogenesis, and this property may be used for vessel grafts production.  相似文献

The authors studied the response of the regulation of proteosynthesis in the rat organism at the level of a model protein--haemoglobin--during developing protein depletion, comparing the response of rats encountering this situation for the first time with the response of animals specially prepared for it by a multiple depletion-repletion cycle. The changes in the response of both groups of animals to the same stimulus indicate that the data acquired in experience of these states are stored in the organism and form the basis of its changed response to a fresh load. The authors did not study the mechanism and site of storage of the information in question, or the mechanism of coordinated regulation, but they expressed the hypothesis that central regulation of protein biosynthesis could be involved.  相似文献

On the basis of the nonlinear model of the overdamped Duffing oscillator, the adaptation of the living organism to regular external loads (constant and periodical) was studied. It was shown that this model describes the stages of strain and resistance. In the resistance stage, a superadaptation phase may be observed, which exceeds by functional shift its asymptotic volume. This stage has a threshold character with respect to load. It was shown that the theoretical results coincide with the experimental data obtained under periodical loads. The conclusion about the existence of optimal load frequency, which leads to a maximum heating of the organism. The differences between the responses of organisms with strong and weak immunities to the harmonic actions were analyzed.  相似文献

Ethological study of emotional state and behavior was carried out in male macaques of two species (Macaca mulatta and Macaca fascicularis), which were divided in three groups according to their initial keeping: isolated, family, and gregarious. During instrumental conditioning, the initial keeping was changed for identical conditions (individual caging or sitting in a primatological chair). It was shown that adaptation to stress associated with a sharp enviromental change depended on initial keeping conditions. Monkeys brought up in family with experience of both intra- and interspecies interactions (for example, monkey--human) had the highest adaptation and learning abilities. Individual and gregarious keeping of monkeys impoverished their individual experience, and their adaptation to experimental conditions required additional efforts. The learning of individually caged monkeys was successful, if their keeping conditions were not changed. Initially gregarious monkeys were successfully trained after their habituation to contact with humans.  相似文献

The effect of osmotic shock on the ultrastructure and functions of C-class pea chloroplasts has been examined. When incubated in a non-sucrose medium for 30 s or more, thylakoids were found to pass to a stable deformed state. This state was characterized by an altered orientation of thylakoids to each other with the lumen thickness remaining the same as in the normal state. Experiments with shorter incubation periods (10–20 s) revealed a swelling of thylakoids, which probably represented an intermediate stage. The deformation of the thylakoid system was accompanied by a decrease in the non-cyclic ATP synthesis but by an increase in the rate of cyclic photophosphorylation. Besides, the deformed thylakoids demonstrated an acceleration of the basal electron transport, as well a rise in the light-induced H+ and imidazol uptake. The data obtained are discussed in the light of membrane interactions fixing the configuration of a thylakoid.  相似文献

Sedentary passerine birds living in temperate and boreal regions need a high metabolic capacity for thermogenesis to survive winter conditions. As a consequence of the increased thermogenic capacity, basal energetic demands rise at a time when resources and time to acquire them decrease. In a previous study, great tits (Parus major) from two localities in Fennoscandia with contrasting winter conditions differed in their metabolic response to ambient temperature. To investigate the physiological basis underlying interpopulation differences we performed a common-garden experiment to test whether these differences were genetically based. We found basal metabolic rate to be higher in birds originating from transferred eggs from the southern population compared to the ones from the northern population, contrary to the relationship among birds living in their region of origin. Despite previous evidence suggesting that gene flow prevents local adaptation at the northern range limits of a species expanding northward, we found that great tits differ in their reaction norm to winter conditions according to the population of origin.  相似文献

A study of the influence of microgravity and ethylene on the morphology and ultrastructural organization of mitochondria in root apex statocytes of 6-day old soybean seedlings that traveled on the Columbia space station on the STS-87 mission is presented. The seedlings were grown in hermetically sealed canisters in the presence of KMnO4 to neutralize ethylene. It is established that, independent of KMnO4 treatment, most of the mitochondria in the cells of the spaceflight seedlings were characterized by a round or oval shape and electronically transparent matrix, whereas in the seedlings in the ground controls the organelles were distinguished by a characteristic polymorphism, large dimensions, and higher electronic density of the matrix. One possible mechanism that could be responsible for the morphological and ultrastructural arrangement of the organelles in the process of adaptation of the seedlings to conditions of microgravity is discussed.  相似文献

Three-way ANOVA has shown that the functional state (FS) of children from 9 to 10 years of age (n = 91) under intense informational load is significantly influenced by the aerobic and anaerobic components of physical working capacity and their interaction. It has been found that 4 to 21% of the total variation of the studied FS indices are related to the bioenergetic resources of the body. It has been shown that the high levels of development of the aerobic and anaerobic glycolytic capacities are associated with the optimal changes in the FS under the conditions of intense informational load. At the same time, the interaction of the aerobic and anaerobic glycolytic components of physical working capacity exerts the most significant influence on the productivity and “psychophysiological cost” of intellectual activity. The high anaerobic glycolytic and anaerobic alactate capacities proved to have opposite functional effects. The former contribute to a decrease in excessive autonomic reactivity under the conditions of intense work and diminution of trait anxiety; the latter, on the contrary, determine hypermobilization of the system of autonomic support of activity. The results suggest that a combined use of rational proportions of physical loads of the aerobic, anaerobic glycolytic, and anaerobic alactate types will provide efficient control of children’s FS under the conditions of intense intellectual activity.  相似文献

Histological and electron microscopial investigations of the thyroid gland were performed in white mice after exogeneous administration of intermedin (MSH) and intermedin against the background of aminasin. It may be concluded that while a prolonged injection of MSH results in the stimulation of the thyroid gland, the administration of the hormone in question against the background of aminasin results in the same ultramorphological structural changes of the gland which are observed after injection of aminasin alone, causing a decreased functional activity of the thyroid gland. The effect of intermedin upon the thyroid is supposed to be realized through those hypothalamus structures which are responsible for the regulation of the thyrotropic function of the hypophysis.  相似文献

Transitions in growth irradiance level from 92 to 7 Em-2 s-1 and vice versa caused changes in the pigment contents and photosynthesis of Oscillatoria agardhii. The changes in chlorophyll a and C-phycocyanin contents during the transition from high to low irradiance (HL) were reflected in photosynthetic parameters. In the LH transition light utilization efficiencies of the cells changed faster than pigment contents. This appeared to be related to the lowering of light utilization efficiencies of photosynthesis. As a possible explanation it was hypothesized that excess photosynthate production led to feed back inhibition of photosynthesis. Time-scales of changes in the maximal rate of O2 evolution were discussed as changes in the number of reaction centers of photosystem II in relation to photosynthetic electron transport. Parameters that were subject to change during irradiance transitions obeyed first order kinetics, but hysteresis occurred when comparing HL with LH transients. The study deals with a wide spectrum of indices of the electrolytic metabolism--sodium, potassium, calcium, chlorides, magnesium, iron, copper, zinc, cobalt and manganese--in blood, organs and tissues under the conditions of experimental chronic exposure of whole-body vibration frequency of 50 and 150 Hz and velocity of 85 mm.s-1 during a three months experiment (3 h daily) Reference methods were used for the determination of the indices--atom absorption spectrophotometry (variants with flame and without flame), coulometric chlorine titrator, flame photometry, etc. The indices were examined three times (1, 2 and 3rd months). Statistic analysis of the data showed significant changes in the number and the values of the indices and their character (increase or decrease) in comparison with the control values. The indices modifications occur early (at the end of the first month) and they proceed till the end of the experiment (till the end of the 3rd month) during the exposure to both frequencies, but are strongly expressed in the case of high frequency vibrations. The disorders in electrolytic metabolism established in the experiment testify that people exposed to vibrations are likely to suffer analogical changes and develop other pathologies--diseases of cardiovascular system, of blood and haematopoietic organs, etc. as well as an increase of specific disorders in connection with vibration exposure.  相似文献
