Acute myeloid leukemia (AML-M3) is associated with the translocation t(15;17)(q22;q12-21) which disrupts the retinoic acid receptor alpha (RARA) gene on chromosome 17 and the PML gene on chromosome 15. We report a two-year-old patient with AML-M3 without the usual translocation t(15;17). Cytogenetic studies demonstrated normal appearance of chromosome 15 while the abnormal 17 homologue was apparently a derivative 17, der(17)(17qter-cen-q21:), the rearrangement distinctly shows deletion at 17q21 band and the morphology corresponding to an iso chromosome i(17q-). This case report is a rare cytogenetic presentation of acute promyelocytic leukemia (APML). 相似文献

Adult T-cell leukemia with an unusual phenotype, Leu-2a positive and Leu-3a negative 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
A case of adult T-cell leukemia (ATL) with an unusual phenotype is presented. Leukemia cells of this patient reacted with anti-Leu-2a monoclonal antibody, although most of ATL cases are reported to show the phenotype of helper/inducer T-cell. It is indicated that the surface phenotype of ATL is rather heterogeneous. 相似文献

Myeloid leukemia in male RFM mice following irradiation with fission spectrum neutrons or gamma rays
The induction of myeloid leukemia following fission neutron irradiation was examined over the 0-80 rad dose range. Over this dose range the dose response could be described by the linear regression equation: y = 0.94 + 0.18X. A comparison of these data with data obtained following gamma irradiation from this study and a previous study indicated that the relative biological effectiveness for myeloid leukemia induction was 2.8. These results appear to be compatible with those reported by other investigators. 相似文献
