Psammomys obesus (the Israeli sand rat) has been well studied as an animal model of Type 2 diabetes. However, obesity phenotypes in these animals have not been fully characterized. We analyzed phenotypic data including body weight, percentage body fat, blood glucose and plasma insulin concentration for over 600 animals from the Psammomys obesus colony at Deakin University to investigate the relationships between body fat, body weight and Type 2 diabetes using regression analysis and general linear modelling. The body weight distribution in Psammomys obesus approximates a normal distribution and closely resembles that observed in human populations. Animals above the 75th percentile for body weight had increased body fat content and a greater risk of developing diabetes. Increased visceral fat content .was also associated with elevated blood glucose and plasma insulin concentrations in these animals. A familial effect was also demonstrated in Psammomys obesus, and accounted for 51% of the variation in body weight, and 23–26% of the variation in blood glucose and plasma insulin concentrations in these animals. Psammomys obesus represents an excellent animal model of.obesity and Type 2 diabetes that exhibits a phenotypic pattern closely resembling that observed in human population studies. The obesity described in these animals was familial in nature and was significantly associated with Type 2 diabetes.  相似文献

To determine the feasibility of the micronuclie procedure for cytogenetic studies, a comparatively weak chromosome breaking agent, trimethylphosphate (TMP) and the potent alkylating agent, triethylenemelamine (TEM) were evaluated. The procedure followed was that of Matter and Schmid with the following modifications: (a) direct flushing of bone marrow with 0.2 ml calf fetal serum, (b) air drying slides for a period of only 1 h, and (c) the use of pH 6.0 phosphate buffer to dilute both the Wright and Giemsa stains.With this technique a dose-response curve was generated for both TMP and TEM, using mice as the experimental animal. With TMP, a doubling over background was found when a concentration of 0.5 g/kg per day for five days was administered. To establish a statistically significant doubling dose over the control, a minimum of five animals must be used woth 2000 polychromatic cells being analyzed per animal.Of the two antischistosomal agents tested, hycanthone yielded an increase of 20-fold in the number of mircronuclei over control at 40 mg/kg administered i.p. for five days, while with niridazole no increase in micronuclei at several concentrations tested both by single and multiple injection was found.The results obtained with these compounds compare favorably woth what has been reported for the standard in vivo metaphase analysis.  相似文献

Background

Bronchopneumonia is a population limiting disease of bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis). The cause of this disease has been a subject of debate. Leukotoxin expressing Mannheimia haemolytica and Bibersteinia trehalosi produce acute pneumonia after experimental challenge but are infrequently isolated from animals in natural outbreaks. Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae, epidemiologically implicated in naturally occurring outbreaks, has received little experimental evaluation as a primary agent of bighorn sheep pneumonia.

Methodology/Principal Findings

In two experiments, bighorn sheep housed in multiple pens 7.6 to 12 m apart were exposed to M. ovipneumoniae by introduction of a single infected or challenged animal to a single pen. Respiratory disease was monitored by observation of clinical signs and confirmed by necropsy. Bacterial involvement in the pneumonic lungs was evaluated by conventional aerobic bacteriology and by culture-independent methods. In both experiments the challenge strain of M. ovipneumoniae was transmitted to all animals both within and between pens and all infected bighorn sheep developed bronchopneumonia. In six bighorn sheep in which the disease was allowed to run its course, three died with bronchopneumonia 34, 65, and 109 days after M. ovipneumoniae introduction. Diverse bacterial populations, predominantly including multiple obligate anaerobic species, were present in pneumonic lung tissues at necropsy.

Conclusions/Significance

Exposure to a single M. ovipneumoniae infected animal resulted in transmission of infection to all bighorn sheep both within the pen and in adjacent pens, and all infected sheep developed bronchopneumonia. The epidemiologic, pathologic and microbiologic findings in these experimental animals resembled those seen in naturally occurring pneumonia outbreaks in free ranging bighorn sheep.  相似文献

A capillary zone electrophoretic (CZE) assay was developed for the determination of cis-5,6a,7,8,9,9a-hexahydro-2-[4-(trifluoromethyl]-5-methyl-cyclopent[4,5]imidazo[2 ,1-b]purin-4(3H)-one, SCH 51866 (I), a cyclic guanine monophosphate phosphodiesterase inhibitor, in rat serum using acetonitrile deproteination as a clean-up step before injection. The calibration curve was linear over a serum concentration range of 0.5 to 10 μg/ml serum with a correlation coefficient (r) > 0.99. The limit of quantitation (LOQ) was established at 0.5 μg/ml. Fifty microliters of serum were used for analysis, which allowed serial bleeding (8 samples) from a single rat to characterize the pharmacokinetic profile of I after either oral or intravenous drug administration. In traditional pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic studies in rodents, one animal provides only one serum sample since 1 to 2 ml of sample volume is required for chromatographic analysis, resulting in the use of a large number of animals per study. This assay yields a significant reduction in the use of animals, hence providing a large reduction in resources and time in drug discovery and development.  相似文献

It has been known that Arak, Salvadora persica, has a number of medicinal properties. We tried to investigate in vitro scolicidal effect of root extracts of this plant against protoscolices from hydatid cysts of Echinococcus granulosus. Protoscolices were aseptically collected from sheep livers containing hydatid cysts. S. persica root extract was used in 10, 30, and 50 mg/ml concentration for 10, 20, and 30 min. The viability of protoscolices was ascertained by 0.1% eosin staining. Scolicidal activity of S. persica extract at a concentration of 10 mg/ml was 36.3%, 50.3%, and 70.8% after 10, 20, and 30 min of exposure, respectively. The scolicidal effect of this extract at a concentration of 30 mg/ml was 52.9%, 86.7%, and 100% after 10, 20, and 30 min of exposure, respectively. S. persica extract at a concentration of 50 mg/ml, meanwhile, killed 81.4%, 100%, and 100% of protoscolices after 10, 20, and 30 min, respectively. Also, the cytotoxic potential of S. persica was assessed on human liver cells (HepG2) using trypan blue exclusion test. No cytotoxic effect was observed on HepG2 cell line. The present study confirmed for the first time that the ethanolic extract of S. persica has high scolicidal power in vitro. However, in vivo effect of this material remains to be studied for treatment of echinococcosis in humans and herbivorous animals.  相似文献

An anaerobic plate-column reactor, developed to retain a high concentration of biomass, was studied using starch-containing synthetic wastewaters with regard to its start-up profile and the effects of TOC-loading rate, hydraulic retention time (HRT), and temperature in a steasy state. Each operation was started up at an initial biomass concentration of ca. 0.5 mg-N/ml (ca. 5 mg-VSS/ml), 20°C, an HRT of 30 h, and a TOC-loading rate of 0.8 g/l/d. The removal defficiency of dissolved organic carbon exceeded 90% after 29 d. The efficiency reached a steady state at 98% removal after 116 d. The biomass concentration in the reactor was 2.3 mg-N/ml after 154 d. Circulation of effluent at a ratio of 1 gave a lower removal efficiency and a lower biomass concentration than the same reactor without circulation. The effect of TOC-loading rate was studied at an HRT of 30 h, 20°C, and removal efficiencies were found 91% at 1.6 g/l/d and 77% at 3.2 g/l/d. The effect of HRT was studied at a TOC-loading rate of 0.8 g/l/d, 20°C, and removal efficiencies 91% at an HRT of 12 h and 72% at an HRT of 6 h.  相似文献

The inky cap, Coprinellus congregatus, produces mushrooms which become autolyzed rapidly to generate black liquid droplets, in which no cell wall is detected by microscopy. A chitinase (Chi2) which is synthesized during the autolytic phase of C. congregatus inhibits the growths of Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans up to 10% at the concentration of 10 μg/ml, about 50% at concentration of 20 μg/ml, and up to 95% at the concentration of 70 μg/ml. Upon treatment these yeast cells are observed to be severely deformed, with the formation of large holes in the cell wall. The two yeast species show no growth inhibition at the concentration of 5 μg/ml, which means the minimum inhibitory concentrations for both yeast species are 10 μg/ml under these experimental conditions.  相似文献

Staphylococcus aureus is a Gram-positive bacterium that has become the leading cause of hospital acquired infections in the US. Repurposing Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved drugs for antimicrobial therapy involves lower risks and costs compared to de novo development of novel antimicrobial agents. In this study, we examined the antimicrobial properties of two commercially available anthelmintic drugs. The FDA approved drug niclosamide and the veterinary drug oxyclozanide displayed strong in vivo and in vitro activity against methicillin resistant S. aureus (minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC): 0.125 and 0.5 μg/ml respectively; minimum effective concentration: ≤ 0.78 μg/ml for both drugs). The two drugs were also effective against another Gram-positive bacteria Enterococcus faecium (MIC 0.25 and 2 μg/ml respectively), but not against the Gram-negative species Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter aerogenes. The in vitro antimicrobial activity of niclosamide and oxyclozanide were determined against methicillin, vancomycin, linezolid or daptomycin resistant S. aureus clinical isolates, with MICs at 0.0625-0.5 and 0.125-2 μg/ml for niclosamide and oxyclozanide respectively. A time-kill study demonstrated that niclosamide is bacteriostatic, whereas oxyclozanide is bactericidal. Interestingly, oxyclozanide permeabilized the bacterial membrane but neither of the anthelmintic drugs exhibited demonstrable toxicity to sheep erythrocytes. Oxyclozanide was non-toxic to HepG2 human liver carcinoma cells within the range of its in vitro MICs but niclosamide displayed toxicity even at low concentrations. These data show that the salicylanilide anthelmintic drugs niclosamide and oxyclozanide are suitable candidates for mechanism of action studies and further clinical evaluation for treatment of staphylococcal infections.  相似文献

Isoflurane is a representative inhalant anesthesia used in laboratory animals. However, isoflurane mediates respiratory depression and adverse clinical reactions during induction. In the present study, we established a novel balanced anesthesia method in mice that combined isoflurane anesthesia with midazolam and butorphanol (MB). Thirty-four male C57BL/6J mice received either isoflurane alone or isoflurane with an intra-peritoneal MB premedication (3 mg/kg midazolam and 4 mg/kg butorphanol). The minimum alveolar concentration (MAC) in each group was evaluated. Induction time and adverse clinical reactions were recorded in each group. Core body temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation (SPO2) were assessed before and for 1 h after induction. Premedication with MB achieved a significant reduction in MAC compared with isoflurane monoanesthesia (isoflurane, 1.38 ± 0.15%; isoflurane with MB, 0.78 ± 0.10%; P<0.05). Induction time was significantly shortened with MB premedication, and adverse reactions such as excitement or incontinence were observed less frequently. Furthermore, isoflurane anesthesia with MB premedication caused increase of respiratory rates compared to isoflurane monoanesthesia. No significant decrease of SPO2 was observed in MBI anesthesia, while a decrease in SPO2 was apparent with isoflurane monoanesthesia (baseline, 98.3% ± 1.1; 10 min after induction, 91.8 ± 6.4%; P<0.05). In conclusion, premedication with MB was effective for the mitigation of respiratory depression induced by isoflurane in mice, with rapid induction and fewer adverse clinical reactions.  相似文献

Enterococci are ubiquitous microbiota constituting a large proportion of autochthonous microflora in animals. Some produce bacteriocins mostly enterocins; some of bacteriocin-producing strains also possess probiotic properties. Enterococcus faecium AL 41, Ent M-producing strain was tested for beneficial effect in rabbits. Five-week-old animals (72, Hycole) were divided into experimental groups (E1, E2) and control (C); 24 animals in each. Rabbits in E1 were administered AL 41 (500???l per animal/day, 109?cfu/ml) in water for 21?days; rabbits in E2 were administered Ent M (50???l/animal/day, activity 12,800?AU/ml) in water for 21?days. Rabbits in C fed a commercial diet. The experiment lasted 42?days. Sampling of faeces and blood was provided on day 0?C1 and 21, 42; 3 animals per group were slaughtered. Caecum and appendix were separated. AL 41 colonized rabbits intestines?<1.0 (log10) cfu/g, but stimulation of immunity was noted (P?<?0.01; P?<?0.001). Antimicrobial activity of both was noticed in faeces and/or caecum against pseudomonads. Significant decrease of coliform bacteria in faeces of E1 was noted on day 42 comparing with E2 (P?<?0.05). On day 21, S. aureus cells were not detected in E1, E2. On day 42, S. aureus was not found in E2; in E1 their counts were?<1.0?cfu/g, while in C it was in the count more than 1.0?cfu/g. In appendix, on day 21, significant decrease of not specified bacteria was found in E1, E2 comparing with C (P?<?0.01). Administration of additives has not evoked oxidative stress. Biochemical parameters were not influenced. Higher average daily weight gains were detected by both, AL 41 and Ent M.  相似文献

Ecological relationships between sulfate-reducing and methane-producing bacteria in mud of Lake Vechten have been studied by continuous culture studies using the chemostat technique. The maximum specific growth rate (μ max) and saturation constant (K s) were, respectively, 0.36 hr−1 and 0.047 mM for lactate-limited growth ofDesulfovibrio desulfuricans and 0,011 hr−1 and 0.17 mM for acetate-limited growth ofMethanobacterium sp. Calculated values for the true molar growth yieldsY G) and maintenance coefficients (m) were 30.6 g bacterial mass/mole of lactate and 0.53 g substrate/g dry wt hr forD. desulfuricans and 37.8 g bacterial mass/mole of acetate and 0.54 g substrate/g dry wt hr forMethanobacterium. No growth ofMethanobacterium was observed at apS2− value (the hydrogen sulfide potential) of more than 11 and there was no effect on the growth atpS2− values above 13. In mixed continuous culture experiments the concentration of acetate decreased in the secondstage growth vessel, whereas that of methane increased stoichiometrically. If the substrate concentration in the reservoirs (S r) was increased from 0.1 to 0.5 mg/ml, the population ofDesulfovibrio increased and that ofMethanobacterium was washed out of the culture vessel, since the concentration of hydrogen sulfide reached apS2− value of 10.5. From the mixed continuous culture experiments a commensalism between the two species can be described, i.e., the acetate-fermentingMethanobacterium benefits from the acetate released byDesulfovibrio which is, in turn, not affected in the presence of the former.  相似文献

Animal contact is a potential transmission route for campylobacteriosis, and both domestic household pet and petting zoo exposures have been identified as potential sources of exposure. Research has typically focussed on the prevalence, concentration, and transmission of zoonoses from farm animals to humans, yet there are gaps in our understanding of these factors among animals in contact with the public who don’t live on or visit farms. This study aims to quantify, through a systematic review and meta-analysis, the prevalence and concentration of Campylobacter carriage in household pets and petting zoo animals. Four databases were accessed for the systematic review (PubMed, CAB direct, ProQuest, and Web of Science) for papers published in English from 1992–2012, and studies were included if they examined the animal population of interest, assessed prevalence or concentration with fecal, hair coat, oral, or urine exposure routes (although only articles that examined fecal routes were found), and if the research was based in Canada, USA, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Studies were reviewed for qualitative synthesis and meta-analysis by two reviewers, compiled into a database, and relevant studies were used to create a weighted mean prevalence value. There were insufficient data to run a meta-analysis of concentration values, a noted study limitation. The mean prevalence of Campylobacter in petting zoo animals is 6.5% based on 7 studies, and in household pets the mean is 24.7% based on 34 studies. Our estimated concentration values were: 7.65x103cfu/g for petting zoo animals, and 2.9x105cfu/g for household pets. These results indicate that Campylobacter prevalence and concentration are lower in petting zoo animals compared with household pets and that both of these animal sources have a lower prevalence compared with farm animals that do not come into contact with the public. There is a lack of studies on Campylobacter in petting zoos and/or fair animals in Canada and abroad. Within this literature, knowledge gaps were identified, and include: a lack of concentration data reported in the literature for Campylobacter spp. in animal feces, a distinction between ill and diarrheic pets in the reported studies, noted differences in shedding and concentrations for various subtypes of Campylobacter, and consistent reporting between studies.  相似文献

An experimental study was conduced to examine some relationships between population size, social behaviour, and dispersal utilizing wild genotype Mus musculus in seminatural enclosures. Groups of male and female mice were used to simulate natural populations. The results indicate that male territoriality occurred significantly more often in populations of greater size but equal density, and these groups demonstrated a significantly greater rate of agonistic interactions per animal when compared to smaller populations. No significant differences were observed for other categories of social interaction. The percentage of animals emigrating and the population density following emigration were the same in small and large groups.  相似文献

The diversion of disease carrying insect from humans to animals may reduce transmission of diseases such as malaria. The use of animals to mitigate mosquito bites on human is called ‘zooprophylaxis’. We introduce a mathematical model for Plasmodium vivax malaria transmission with two bloodmeal hosts (humans and domestic animals) to study the effect of zooprophylaxis. After computing the basic reproduction number from the proposed model, we explore how perturbations in the parameters, sensitive to the effects of control measures, affect its value. Zooprophylaxis is shown to determine whether a basic reproduction becomes bigger than an outbreak threshold value or not. Sensitivity analysis shows that increasing the relative animal population size works better in P. vivax malaria control than decreasing the mosquito population when the relative animal population size is larger than a threshold value.  相似文献

This study aimed to improve microbial flocculant production by optimizing the components of a Bacillus subtilis CZ1003 culture medium. Using the flocculation rate as the dependent variable, single-factor experiments were performed and beef extract at a concentration of 9 g/L was found to be the optimal nitrogen source, while glucose at a concentration of 20 g/L was the optimal carbon source. KCl, MgCl2, NaCl, and CaCl2 at concentrations of 0.75, 2.5, 0.5, and 5.0 g/L, respectively, were the optimum inorganic salts, in order of flocculant production activity. Orthogonal experimental demonstrated that KCl played a dominant role for Bacillus subtilis production of bioflocculants, followed by NaCl and CaCl2. Optimization experiments demonstrated that the optimal combination of the two salts was 0.75 g/L KCl and 0.5 g/L NaCl, resulting in a flocculation rate of 36.2% when included together at these concentrations. The final optimized medium consisted of 20 g/L glucose, 9 g/L beef extract, 0.75 g/L KCl, and 0.5 g/L NaCl. Compared with the initial medium, the optimized medium enhanced the flocculation activity from 12.1 to 36.2%, which equates to an increase of 199.17%. Meanwhile, the flocculant yield was increased from 0.058 g/L to 0.134/L, an increase of 131.03%. The optimized medium could be used to improve microbial flocculant production and provides a basis for further exploration.  相似文献

The effects of chicken litter on Meloidogyne incognita in cotton, Gossypium hirsutum cv. DPL50 were determined in field microplots. Litters (manure and pine-shaving bedding) from a research facility and a commercial broiler house were used. Treatments consisted of 0.25%, 0.5%, and 1% litter by dry weight of soil for each kind of litter. Three control treatments consisted of soil not amended with litter, with and without nematodes, and one treatment to which mineral fertilizer was added at a nitrogen rate equivalent to that of the 0.5% litter rate, with nematodes. Microplots were inoculated at planting with 900 eggs/100 cm³ soil in 1993 and 1,000 eggs/100 cm³ soil in 1994. At 92 and 184 days after planting, nematode population densities decreased linearly with increasing rates of litter. Nematode numbers at midseason were larger in plots treated with mineral fertilizer than in plots treated with a rate of litter equivalent to the 0.5% rate. Fungal and bacterial population densities fluctuated throughout the growing season. Bacterial numbers had a positive linear relationship, with increasing rates of litter only in October 1993; however, significant positive relationships were observed throughout the 1994 growing season. In 1994, nematode population density at 92 days after planting decreased linearly with increasing bacterial numbers 30 days after planting. No other significant relationships between nematode densities and microbial densities were observed. Fungi and bacteria isolated from the litter and litter-amended soil were identified. Fungal genera isolated included Acremonium, Aspergillus, Eurotium, Paecilomyces, Petriella, and Scopulariopsis, whereas bacteria genera included Arthrobacter, Bacillus, and Pseudomonus.  相似文献

This work assessed the antibacterial activity of electro-activated solutions of salts of weak organic acids (potassium acetate, potassium citrate and calcium lactate) on Salmonella enterica, Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes. This activity was compared in terms of minimal inhibitory (bactericidal) concentration to the effect of commercial acetic, citric and lactic acid at equivalent titratable acidity. Staining live/dead BacLight method was used to consider physiological state of bacteria following the evaluation of pathogenic strains during exposure to the tested solutions. The results demonstrated strong inhibitory activity of all electro-activated solutions. After 10 min of exposure to electro-activated potassium acetate, a reduction of ≥6 log CFU/ml of all bacteria was observed. The electro-activated potassium citrate demonstrated the lowest minimal inhibitory concentration. Nevertheless, its inactivation power was significantly higher than that of conjugated citric acid. Although electro-activated calcium lactate was found less effective in comparison with its conjugated acid form, after 10 min of contact with the tested pathogens, it induced a population reduction of 2.23, 2.97 and 5.57 log CFU/ml of S. aureus, L. monocytogenes and S. enterica, respectively.  相似文献

Selecting the appropriate anesthetic protocol for the individual animal is an essential part of laboratory animal experimentation. The present study compared the characteristics of four anesthetic protocols in mice, focusing on the vital signs. Thirty-two male ddY mice were divided into four groups and administered anesthesia as follows: pentobarbital sodium monoanaesthesia; ketamine and xylazine combined (K/X); medetomidine, midazolam, and butorphanol combined (M/M/B); and isoflurane. In each group, rectal temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and O2 saturation (SPO2) were measured, and the changes over time and instability in these signs were compared. The anesthetic depth was also evaluated in each mouse, and the percentage of mice achieving surgical anesthesia was calculated. K/X anesthesia caused remarkable bradycardia, while the respiratory rate and SPO2 were higher than with the others, suggesting a relatively strong cardiac influence and less respiratory depression. The M/M/B group showed a relatively lower heart rate and SPO2, but these abnormalities were rapidly reversed by atipamezole administration. The pentobarbital group showed a lower SPO2, and 62.5% of mice did not reach a surgical anesthetic depth. The isoflurane group showed a marked decrease in respiratory rate compared with the injectable anesthetic groups. However, it had the most stable SPO2 among the groups, suggesting a higher tidal volume. The isoflurane group also showed the highest heart rate during anesthesia. In conclusion, the present study showed the cardiorespiratory characteristics of various anesthetic protocols, providing basic information for selecting an appropriate anesthetic for individual animals during experimentation.  相似文献

The prevalence of antimicrobial drug-resistant bacteria is typically highest in younger animals, and prevalence is not necessarily related to recent use of antimicrobial drugs. In dairy cattle, we hypothesize that antimicrobial drug-resistant, neonate-adapted bacteria are responsible for the observed high frequencies of resistant Escherichia coli in calves. To explore this issue, we examined the age distribution of antimicrobial drug-resistant E. coli from Holstein cattle at a local dairy and conducted an experiment to determine if low doses of oxytetracycline affected the prevalence of antimicrobial drug-resistant E. coli. Isolates resistant to tetracycline (>4 μg/ml) were more prevalent in <3-month-old calves (79%) compared with lactating cows (14%). In an experimental trial where calves received diets supplemented with or without oxytetracycline, the prevalence of tetracycline-resistant E. coli was slightly higher for the latter group (P = 0.039), indicating that drug use was not required to maintain a high prevalence of resistant E. coli. The most common resistance pattern among calf E. coli isolates included resistance to streptomycin (>12 μg/ml), sulfadiazine (>512 μg/ml), and tetracycline (>4 μg/ml) (SSuT), and this resistance pattern was most prevalent during the period when calves were on milk diets. To determine if prevalence was a function of differential fitness, we orally inoculated animals with nalidixic acid-resistant strains of SSuT E. coli and susceptible E. coli. Shedding of SSuT E. coli was significantly greater than that of susceptible strains in neonatal calves (P < 0.001), whereas there was no difference in older animals (P = 0.5). These data support the hypothesis that active selection for traits linked to the SSuT phenotype are responsible for maintaining drug-resistant E. coli in this population of dairy calves.  相似文献

采用48h急性毒性试验研究了Pb2+对多刺裸腹溞(Moina macrocopa)的48h-LC50值,采用生命表试验方法在0.5×106、1.0×106、2.0×106个细胞/mL的斜生栅藻(Scenedesmus obliquus)密度下研究了浓度为0.2、0.4、0.6、0.8、1.0mg/L的Pb2+对多刺裸腹溞生命表统计学参数的影响。结果表明,Pb2+对多刺裸腹溞48h-LC50值为10.5mg/L。与各食物密度下的对照组相比,除了0.5×106、1.0×106个细胞/mL下0.2mg/L的Pb2+显著延长了多刺裸腹溞的生命期望,0.5×106个细胞/mL的食物密度下0.4mg/L的Pb2+显著提高了多刺裸腹溞的净生殖率、0.40.8mg/L的Pb2+显著提高了种群内禀增长率外,较高浓度的Pb2+显著缩短了多刺裸腹溞的生命期望,降低了净生殖率、总生殖率和种群内禀增长率;且随着食物密度的升高,使净生殖率和总生殖率显著降低的Pb2+浓度阈值呈降低的趋势,但使世代时间显著缩短的Pb2+浓度阈值则呈升高的趋势。Pb2+浓度、食物密度以及它们间的交互作用对多刺裸腹溞的各主要生命表统计学参数均有显著的影响(P0.05)。0.5×106、1.0×106cells/mL食物密度下,Pb2+浓度与多刺裸腹溞的各主要生命表统计学参数间均有显著的剂量-效应关系;2.0×106cells/mL食物密度下,Pb2+浓度与多刺裸腹溞的生命期望、总生殖率和净生殖率间均有显著的剂量-效应关系。多刺裸腹溞的生命期望、净生殖率和内禀增长率对Pb2+污染的敏感性因食物密度的不同而存在着差异。  相似文献
