Three new nortriterpene saponins having inhibitory effects on the growth of cultured tumor cells, named pfaffosides D, E and F, have been isolated from Pfaffia paniculata. Their structures have been established as 3β-O-[β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-d-(6-O-n-butyl) glucuronopyranosyl]-pfaffic acid-(28 → 1)-β-d-glucopyranosyl ester, 3β-O-[β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-d(6-O-methyl)glucuronopyranosyl]-pfaffic acid-(28 → 1)-β-d glucopyranosyl ester and 3β-O[β-d-glucuronopyranosyl]-pfaffic acid respectively, based on their chemical and spectroscopic properties  相似文献

Triterpenoid saponins, impatienosides A-G, together with 12 known saponins, were isolated from the whole plants of Impatiens siculifer. Their structures were established on the basis of extensive 1D and 2D NMR and MS analyses coupled with chemical degradation. Cytotoxic activities of the isolated saponins were evaluated against three human cancer cell lines: human myeloid leukemia HL-60 cells, human stomach KATO-III adenocarcinoma, and human lung A549 adenocarcinoma.  相似文献

The structure of one of the major molluscicidal saponins of the fruit of Phytolacca dodecandra has been elucidated as 3-[2,4-di-O-(β-d-glucopyranosyl)-β-d-glucopyranosyll-olean-12-ene-28-oic acid. The combined use of 300 Mc. PMR, MS and GC-MS led to this structural assignment.  相似文献

Four new oleanane-type saponins and a known one were isolated from the leaves and stems of Meryta lanceolata. The new saponins were characterised by spectroscopic means and chemical hydrolysis as 3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl]oleanolic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester, 3-O-[beta-D- glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl]oleanolic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-6-O-acetyl glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester, 3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl]oleanolic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester and 3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl]echinocystic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester. From the roots of Gundelia tournefortii seven saponins have been isolated mainly by DCCC. The main saponins (A and B) were characterized, mainly by 13C and 1H NMR spectroscopy, as oleanolic acid 3-O-(2-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 3) -β-d-gentiotriosyl(1 → 6) -β-d-glucopyranosyl]gb-d-xylopyranoside) (saponin A) and oleanolic acid 3-O-(2-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl] (1 → 3)-β-d-gentiobiosyl (1 → 6)-β-d-glucopyranosyl β-d-xylopyranoside) (saponin B). The other saponins are also derived from oleanolic acid and contain more sugar units. The saponin mixture and the saponins A and B possess strong molluscicidal activity against the schistosomiasis transmitting snail Biomphalaria glabrata.  相似文献

Obtusilobinin and obtusilobin, two new saponins, have been isolated from the ethanolic extract of Anemone obtusiloba (Ranunculaceae). Five triterpenoid saponins isolated from the flowers, the mature fruits and the leaves of Fatsia japonica were identified as 3-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl(1→4)-β-d-glucopyranosyl]-hederagenin (1), 3-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-α-l-arabinopyranosyl]-oleanolic acid (2), 3-O-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl]-hederagenin (3), 3-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl]-hederagenin (4) and 3-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl(1→4)-α-l-arabinopyranosyl]-hederagenin (5). The saponins 1 and 2 are new, naturally occurring, triterpenoid saponins. The distribution of the five saponins in three parts of the plant was investigated. Saponins 2, 3 and 5 were present in the flowers, saponins 1, 3, 4 and 5 were in the mature fruits and saponins 2, 3, 4 and 5 were in the leaves.  相似文献

Two biologically active noroleanane saponins from Celmisia petriei are identified as 3-O-(α-l-arabinopyranosyl (1 → 6)-β-d-glucopyranosyl (1 → 2)-α-l-arabinopyranosyl), 2β,17,23-trihydroxy-28-norolean-12-en-16-one and its 2″-O-acetyl derivative. 13C NMR and T1 measurements allowed the determination of the sugar sequence and the majority of the linkage positions, but gave ambiguous results for the inner arabinose sugar. Nitrate reductase from Amaranthus viridis is similar to nitrate reductase from other plant sources. NH2OH inhibits nitrate reduction from NADH by the nitrate reductase complex, but it does not inhibit either the NADH-dehydrogenase activity or nitrate reduction from reduced flavin mononucleotides. The inhibition observed was non-competitive with nitrate when the enzyme was pre-incubated with NH2OH and NADH, and competitive with nitrate without pre-incubation. The Ki values for NH2OH were 5 μM and 30 μM with or without pre-incubation respectively.  相似文献

A rare 16β-H steroidal alkaloid saponin (1), an avenacoside-type saponin (2), two steroidal saponins (4, 5), one revised-structure steroidal saponin (3) and six known compounds (6-11) were isolated from aerial parts of Solanum surattense Burm. f. Their structures were established on the basis of physical data, as well as by using spectroscopic (HRESIMS, 1D and 2D NMR), and chemical analysis methods. Compounds 1 and 11 showed cytotoxicity against A549 cell line with IC50 values of 20.3 and 15.7 μM, respectively.  相似文献

Six C31-secodammarane-type triterpenoid saponins, in addition to alnustic acid, were isolated from the male flowers of Alnus pendula. Two of these saponins were new and were shown to be the 12-O-(2′-O-acetyl)-β-d-xylopyranoside and the 12-O-(2′-O-acetyl)-β-d-glucopyranoside of alnustic acid, respectively, on the basis of their physico-chemical data.  相似文献

Eight saponins were isolated from alfalfa roots (Medicago sativa). The sensitivity of Trichoderma viride to the saponin varied with the individual saponin isolate. Seven isolates appeared to contain the aglycone, medicagenic acid, and while the other did not, it inhibited the growth of the fungus at higher concentrations than the other isolates. One pair and a triplet of saponins with divergent Rfs evoked near identical biological responses suggesting structural similarity toxic to T. viride.  相似文献

Eleven novel furostanol saponins, named ophiofurospisides C–E, G–N (13, 512), one new spirostanol saponin, named ophiopogonin R (13), were isolated from the fresh tubers of Ophiopogon japonicus. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic techniques (1D and 2D NMR) and HRESIMS. The isolated furostanol saponins possessed two sugar chains located at C-3 and C-26, respectively.
