With the aim to study interrelations of the interventricular septum (IVS) and systematization of their definitions, 151 preparations of hearts of persons died from causes having no connections with cardio-vascular diseases have been studied. The IVS consists of inflow and outflow septa. The inflow septum includes the sinusal (posterior) and trabecular septa, the outflow one--the anterior and conoid septa. The distal part of the anterior and conoid septa form the infundibular septum. From the side of the right ventricle the conoid septum and bulboventricular fold form a supraventricular crest--muscular torus, separating its inflow and outflow parts. From the side of the left ventricle the supraventricular crest is seen as a muscular bar, forming the basal medial wall.  相似文献

The pump function of the right heart ventricle has been studied in anesthetized dogs and hens at sinus rhythm, supraventricular rhythm, and subepicardial ectopic excitation of base and apex of the right and left ventricles. Dynamics of the ventricle intracavital pressure was recorded by transmural catheterization. In hens, the pump function of the right ventricle (as compared with sinus rhythm) was preserved to the greater degree at stimulation of the left ventricle apex and deteriorated significantly at stimulation of the right ventricle, whereas in dogs, it retained to the greater degree (as compared with supraventricular rhythm) at stimulation of the left ventricle base and deteriorated at stimulation of the right ventricle apex. Changes of the pump function of the right heart ventricle at ectopic ventricle stimulation are similar in birds and mammals. Differences in changes of dog and hen pump functions under effect of location of the ectopic excitation seem to be due to morphofunctional peculiarities of heart ventricles.  相似文献

One hundred and fourty-three normal hearts have been studied. The conoid septum, supraventricular crest, bulboventricular fold, area of the fibrous tissue between the aortal and mitral valves and the anterior interventricular septum make the walls (frontal view, in the direction of the hour hand) of the left ventricular cone. In the normal heart there is no real contact between the fibrous rings of the aortal and mitral valves. They are connected by means of a strip of the fibrous tissue, its size varies. The subaortal cone and deferent part of the left ventricular axes make an obtuse angle; the axes of the subpulmonary and subaortal cones have a cross direction. The geometrically definitive left ventricular cone is seen as obliquely-sectioned overturned isosceles cone, with its big base directed upward, right and back, and the small one forward and left.  相似文献

利用维泊尔(Weibull)分布函数对山东赤松种群直径的分布规律及其动态进行了初步研究。结果表明,赤松种群直径分布的概率密度分布曲线,由幼龄阶段到成熟阶段,其峰值由左向右移动,由左偏单峰分布过渡为非偏单峰近似正态分布,最后趋于右偏单峰分布,针对不同林型的直径结构,探讨了赤松林的保护和管理。  相似文献

为了阐明金钱豹(Panthera pardus)和猪獾(Arctonyx collaris)心冠状动脉的分支分布特征及血供情况,为心脏生物学及动物学研究提供结构基础资料,利用血管铸型和组织透明方法观察研究了金钱豹与猪獾心左、右冠状动脉的分支分布.结果表明,金钱豹和猪獾的心均由左右冠状动脉营养.金钱豹左冠状动脉分为室间隔支、前降支和旋支.前降支又分出左室上支、左室中支和左室下支.右冠状动脉沿途分出右室前支、右室后下支和右室后上支.猪獾左冠状动脉分为前降支和旋支.前降支又分出室间隔支和左室前支,旋支又分出左缘支和左室后支.其右冠状动脉沿途分出右室前支、右缘支和右室后支.金钱豹和猪獾心的室间隔均由发自左冠状动脉的独立的室间隔支营养,二者左右冠状动脉在膈壁的分布属于均衡型.  相似文献

Studies are presented on the pulmonary circulation of three Himalayan marmots ( Marmota himalayana (Hodgson)) captured in the mountains north of Lhasa, Tibet. The pulmonary arterial pressure and resistance were low, the right ventricle was not hypertrophied and the arterioles and terminal portions of the muscular pulmonary arteries had thin walls. The observations suggest that this species has adapted through natural selection to high altitude by losing the capacity for hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction.  相似文献

Summary Two types of nerve endings in the muscular wall of the descendent colon and rectum are shown in this paper. The first one, is constituted by thick extrinsic fibers ending by neurofibrillar sharpened points which are subdivided in two groups; unlimited endings having its branches placed among the muscular fascicles is one of them (interfascicular nerve endings). The other one belongs to limited endings sited in connective spaces sourrounded by the muscular bundles. The second type of neuromuscular relation is integrated by long and slender fibers. In some cases its origine of a local neuron was prooved by us.Endings in the mucous layer were also found. The Lieberkühn glands have nervous fibers distributing only at its bottom; nervous fibers supply only the upper part of the glands and also the epithelial surface, and an intermediary type of them distributing its branches to the whole width of the mucosae.  相似文献

Vertebrates have succeeded to inhabit almost every ecological niche due in large part to the anatomical diversification of their jaw complex. As a component of the feeding apparatus, jaw muscles carry a vital role for determining the mode of feeding. Early patterning of the jaw muscles has been attributed to cranial neural crest‐derived mesenchyme, however, much remains to be understood about the role of nonneural crest tissues in the evolution and diversification of jaw muscle morphology. In this study, we describe the development of trigeminal motor neurons in a parrot species with the uniquely shaped jaw muscles and compare its developmental pattern to that in the quail with the standard jaw muscles to uncover potential roles of nervous tissue in the evolution of vertebrate jaw muscles. In parrot embryogenesis, the motor axon bundles are detectable within the muscular tissue only after the basic shape of the muscular tissue has been established. This supports the view that nervous tissue does not primarily determine the spatial pattern of jaw muscles. In contrast, the trigeminal motor nucleus, which is composed of somata of neurons that innervate major jaw muscles, of parrot is more developed compared to quail, even in embryonic stage where no remarkable interspecific difference in both jaw muscle morphology and motor nerve branching pattern is recognized. Our data suggest that although nervous tissue may not have a large influence on initial patterning of jaw muscles, it may play an important role in subsequent growth and maintenance of muscular tissue and alterations in cranial nervous tissue development may underlie diversification of jaw muscle morphology. Cardiac neural crest cells (CNCC) migrate into the caudal pharynx and arterial pole of the heart to form the outflow septum. Ablation of the CNCC results in arterial pole malalignment and failure of outflow septation, resulting in a common trunk overriding the right ventricle. Unlike preotic cranial crest, the postotic CNCC do not normally regenerate. We applied the hedgehog signaling inhibitor, cyclopamine (Cyc), to chick embryos after CNCC ablation and found normal heart development at day 9 suggesting that the CNCC population was reconstituted. We ablated the CNCC, and labeled the remaining neural tube with DiI/CSRE and applied cyclopamine. Cells migrated from the neural tube in the CNCC-ablated, cyclopamine-treated embryos but not in untreated CNCC-ablated embryos. The newly generated cells followed the CNCC migration pathways, expressed neural crest markers and supported normal heart development. Finally, we tested whether reducing hedgehog signaling caused redeployment of the dorsal–ventral axis of the injured neural tube, allowing generation of new neural crest-like cells. The dorsal neural tube marker, Pax7, was maintained 12 h after CNCC ablation with Cyc treatment but not in the CNCC-ablated alone. This disruption of dorsal–ventral neural patterning permits a new wave of migratory cardiac neural crest-like cells.  相似文献

Few studies have investigated factors responsible for the O2 demand/supply balance in the right ventricle. Resting right coronary blood flow is lower than left coronary blood flow, which is consistent with the lesser work of the right ventricle. Because right and left coronary artery perfusion pressures are identical, right coronary conductance is less than left coronary conductance, but the signal relating this conductance to the lower right ventricular O2 demand has not been defined. At rest, the left ventricle extracts approximately 75% of the O2 delivered by coronary blood flow, whereas right ventricular O2 extraction is only ~50%. As a result, resting right coronary venous PO2 is approximately 30 mm Hg, whereas left coronary venous PO2 is approximately 20 mm Hg. Right coronary conductance does not sufficiently restrict flow to force the right ventricle to extract the same percentage of O2 as the left ventricle. Endogenous nitric oxide impacts the right ventricular O2 demand/supply balance by increasing the right coronary blood flow at rest and during acute pulmonary hypertension, systemic hypoxia, norepinephrine infusion, and coronary hypoperfusion. The substantial right ventricular O2 extraction reserve is used preferentially during exercise-induced increases in right ventricular myocardial O2 consumption. An augmented, sympathetic-mediated vasoconstrictor tone blunts metabolically mediated dilator mechanisms during exercise and forces the right ventricle to mobilize its O2 extraction reserve, but this tone does not limit resting right coronary flow. During exercise, right coronary vasodilation does not occur until right coronary venous PO2 decreases to approximately 20 mm Hg. The mechanism responsible for right coronary vasodilation at low PO2 has not been delineated. In the poorly autoregulating right coronary circulation, reduced coronary pressure unloads the coronary hydraulic skeleton and reduces right ventricular systolic stiffness. Thus, normal right ventricular external work and O2 demand/supply balance can be maintained during moderate coronary hypoperfusion.  相似文献

BMP-2 and BMP-4 are known to be involved in the early events which specify the cardiac lineage. Their later patterns of expression in the developing mouse and chick heart, in the myocardium overlying the atrioventricular canal (AV) and outflow tract (OFT) cushions, also suggest that they may play a role in valvoseptal development. In this study, we have used a recombinant retrovirus expressing noggin to inhibit the function of BMP-2/4 in the developing chick heart. This procedure resulted in abnormal development of the OFT and the ventricular septum. A spectrum of abnormalities was seen ranging from common arterial trunk to double outlet right ventricle. In hearts infected with noggin virus, where the neural crest cells have been labelled, the results show that BMP-2/4 function is required for the migration of neural crest cells into the developing OFT to form the aortopulmonary septum. Prior to septation, misexpression of noggin also leads to a decrease in the number of proliferating mesenchymal cells within the proximal cushions of the outflow tract. These results suggest that BMP-2/4 function may mediate several key events during cardiac development.  相似文献

Heteromorphism of the contractile elements of the iris muscular tissue in chick embryos and in chickens has been studied by means of electron microscopical investigation. The leading contractile tissue of the iris is the striated muscular tissue, which is formed as a cellular-simplastic system with its own cambium-myosatellitocytes. Some cells, containing myofilaments in their cytoplasm, are related to myofibroblastic and smooth muscle differons, which functions remain to be studied. A hypothesis is proposed on existence of two sources for development of the iris muscular elements. The first-stem cells for the striated muscular tissue; at early stages of embryonal development they are included into composition of ectomesenchyme of the neural crest and migrate into the area of the muscle anlages. The second-cells migrating from the ocular cup margins and developing into the smooth myocytes of the iris.  相似文献

A number of important differences can be found between the left ventricle (LV) and right ventricle (RV) of the heart under physiological conditions. In anatomy, the most important is probably the architecture of the atrioventricular valve and its annulus. The LV has a mitral valve (with two cusps) and a firm annulus, while the RV has a tricuspid valve with a greater total area, but relatively small cuspid areas, and an elastic annulus. The difference in the blood supply is important. Owing to high intramural pressure, the coronary flow in the wall of the LV occurs only during the diastole; in the RV it is limited only in the presence of a significant increase in intracavitary pressure. The LV myocardium is functionally "accustomed" to short-term marked changes in the systolic load (in extreme static exercise the arterial pressure rises for a short time to three times the normal value), while the RV is adapted to changes in the diastolic load (marked filling changes associated with deep breathing, for instance). The difference in the response to a long-term volume load is difficult to evaluate: between a defect of the interatrial septum and aortic insufficiency there are too many differences. A long-term pressure load seems to be tolerated better by the right ventricle: patients with severe pulmonary stenosis and a pressure six times higher than the physiological value have lived 25 years and patients with isolated corrected L-transposition of the great arteries can reach 35 years without any signs of impaired RV function.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

Counter-current heat exchangers associated with appendages of endotherms feature bundles of closely applied arteriovenous vessels. The accepted paradigm is that heat from warm arterial blood travelling into the appendage crosses into cool venous blood returning to the body. High core temperature is maintained, but the appendage functions at low temperature. Leatherback turtles have elevated core temperatures in cold seawater and arteriovenous plexuses at the roots of all four limbs. We demonstrate that plexuses of the hindlimbs are situated wholly within the hip musculature, and that, at the distal ends of the plexuses, most blood vessels supply or drain the hip muscles, with little distal vascular supply to, or drainage from the limb blades. Venous blood entering a plexus will therefore be drained from active locomotory muscles that are overlaid by thick blubber when the adults are foraging in cold temperate waters. Plexuses maintain high limb muscle temperature and avoid excessive loss of heat to the core, the reverse of the accepted paradigm. Plexuses protect the core from overheating generated by muscular thermogenesis during nesting.  相似文献

本文对50例健康的商品猪心脏的铸型标本进行了观察,结果如下:左冠状动脉旋枝与锥旁室间枝的夹角为74.4±2.07度。对角枝出现率为24%,并证明了对角枝出现率与其夹角大小呈正比关系。窦房结枝84%来自右冠状动脉。房室结枝98%来自右冠状动脉。左房旋枝出现率为8%。室间隔的供血由锥旁室间枝的分枝负担61%,约为3/5,窦下室间枝的分技负担39%,约为2/5。室上嵴技、Kugel动脉、室间隔中枝和室间隔背倒前枝的出现率分别为78%、20%、68%和28%。心尖区的血液由左、右冠状动脉共同供应。50例左、右冠状动脉始部外径之比为1.2∶1。左、右冠状动脉在心膈面的分布类型以右强型为主。本文还讨论了猪冠状动脉与狗、人冠状动脉的异同。  相似文献

The diaphragm was studied in 30 adult crab-eating monkeys (Macaca fascicularis). The muscular bundle of the lumber part was derived from the tendinous origin, which attached to the anterior surface of the lumbar vertebra and intervertebral disc. The upper margin of the origin was at the one third of the second lumbar vertebra in both sides. The lower margin of the right and left tendons extend to lower one third and upper one third of the third lumbar vertebra, respectively. In 22 cases (73.3%) out of 30 specimens, some muscular bundles arose from the right crus with the collagenous sheath. They ran across the ventral aspect of the aortic hiatus and bounded the esophageal hiatus at the left side. The muscular fibers, which bound the esophageal hiatus at the right and left, are innervated by ipsilateral phrenic nerve. In four cases, the “Hilfsmuskel” after Treitz was observed. It arose from the connective tissue around the coeliac artery.  相似文献

The vascular anatomy of inflorescence axes and flowers ofClematis patens have been studied. The species shows a unique behaviour of the vascular bundles in the transition node from vegetative stem to pedicel: stelar bundles increase in number from six to eight as they ascend through the transition node so that the number of vascular bundles coincides with that of sepals. In the pedicel stele the resulting eight bundles are disposed opposite to eight sepals. respectively; each sepal receives its vascular supply from the bundle facing it. Morphological and anatomical evidence suggests that the calyx of eight sepals in this species should be interpreted as having consisted originally of four pairs of opposite organs, rather than as having been derived secondarily through chorisis of sepals from a calyx of four sepals as seen in most other species ofClematis.  相似文献
