Ecballocystopsis (Oocystaceae, Chlorellales, Trebouxiophyceae) is a rare green algal genus, represented by only five taxa: E. dichotoma var. dichotoma from China and E. indica, E. desikacharyi, E. himalayensis and E. dichotoma var. minuta from India. Here we propose the novel variety E. dichotoma var. anandii from Jharkhand, synonymization of E. himalayensis with E. dichotoma and erection of E. dichotoma var. minuta to a separate species as E. minuta stat. et comb. nov. These taxonomic changes are well supported by the results of a multivariate analysis based on a numerical taxonomic approach. Cluster analysis (CA), principal component analysis (PCA) and principal coordinates analysis (PCoA) were performed to resolve the species delimitation ambiguity and supplement the morphology-based classification of the genus. Ecballocystopsis himalayensis and E. dichotoma grouped in a single cluster along with the proposed new variety, while E. indica, E. desikacharyi and E. minuta formed separate clusters. An identification key to the species of the genus Ecballocystopsis is also presented. 相似文献

Fourteen species of the genus Autosticha Meyrick,1886 are recorded from Taiwan,China.The genus Cynicocrates Meyrick,1935 is proposed as a new synonym of Autosticha,and its type species A.tachytoma (Meyrick,1935) comb.nov.is transferred to Autosticha.Autosticha cordiformis sp.nov.is described as new,and A.tachytoma is redescribed with male for the first time.A checklist of all the described species in Taiwan is given.Photographs of the new species and the newly combined species are provided. 相似文献

The nymph and egg of Acentrella almohades sp. n. are described and illustrated on the basis of material collected in southern Spain (in the upper reaches of the Guadalquivir River Basin) and Morocco (Rif Mountains and Atlas Mountains). The genus Dendrokingstonia (Annonaceae) is taxonomically revised and palynologically studied. Three species are recognized, one of which, D. gardneri , is described as new to science. One new combination, D. acuminata , is made. The genus occurs from southern Thailand to Peninsular Malaysia and Sumatra. On the basis of macromorphology and pollen characters, it is considered to be related to Monocarpia. Both genera show a combination of macromorphological characters that is rare in the family, i.e. considerably enlarged stigmas, leaves with percurrent tertiary veins, a highly reduced number of carpels per flower and relatively large monocarps with a thick, hard wall. Scanning and transmission electron microscopy show that the pollen grains of Dendrokingstonia and Monocarpia are monosulcate monads with a columellate infratectum and a more or less bulging intine at the sulcus. © 2011 The Linnean Society of London, Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society, 2012, 168 , 76–90. 相似文献

A morphometric study of the known populations of Genista pulchella has been undertaken, based on herbarium specimens and field research. This has made it possible to provide a new taxonomic outline as the disjunct populations of G. pulchella (western part of the Balkan peninsula, central Italy and southern France) seem to be distinct. A new taxon is described: G. pulchella ssp. aquilana ssp. nov. (central Italy), a new combination G. pulchella ssp. villarsiana comb. nov. is proposed for the population from southern France, while G. pulchella ssp. pulchella can be considered endemic to the Balkan Peninsula. Meibomia bakeriana Kuntze is the earliest legitimate species name available for Baker's illegitimate Desmodium rotundifolium. Alysicarpus rotundifolius Dalzell ex Prain and Desmodium ritchiei Sanjappa are illegitimate superfluous names for the same species, whereas Desmodiastrum rotundifolium (A.Pramanik and Thoth.) Sanjappa cannot be used because of the lack of priority. H. Ohashi and K. Ohashi published an isonym in Desmodiastrum. The new combination Desmodiastrum bakerianum (Kuntze) Kottaim. is proposed here in order to provide a correct name for the species occurring in India. 相似文献

The Japanese species of the genus Syndiamesa are revised. A new species, Syndiamesa longipilosa sp. nov., from Honshu, Japan is described from male and female material. The male of Syndiamesa mira (Makarchenko) from Japan is redescribed and figured. Syndiamesa chuzemagna Sasa is synonymized with Syndiamesa yosiii Tokunaga. Syndiamesa bicolor Tokunaga is transferred to the genus Sympotthastia. A key to males of Japanese Syndiamesa is provided. 相似文献

The living morphology, infraciliature and silverline system of 3 “well-known” marine scuticociliates, Uronemella filificum (Kahl, 1931) nov. gen., nov. comb. (formerly Uronema filificum Kahl, 1931), Pseudocohnilembus hargisi Evans & Thompson, 1964 and Cyclidium citrullus Cohn 1865 are reinvestigated and redescribed. Based on the data obtained, we suggest an establishment of a new genus Uronemella. The diagnosis for the new taxon: thigmotactic Uronematidae with generally pear-shaped body and subequatorially positioned cytostome; apical plate dominant; oral apparatus Uronema-like, one-rowed membranelle 1 about as long as membranelle 2; paroral membrane extending anteriorly to about mid-level of membrane 2; one caudal cilium; in vivo exhibiting typical rotatory movement with help of a caudal-cilium-associated sticky thread; generally in marine habitats. According to this definition, three nominal species as new combinations are transferred into this genus: Uronemella binucleata (Song, 1993) nov. comb. (= Homalogastra binucleata Song, 1993), Uronemella filificum (Kahl, 1931) nov. comb. (= Uronema filificum Kahl, 1931) and Uronemella cymruensis (Pérez-Uz & Hope, 1997) nov. comb. (=Urocyclon cymruensis Pérez-Uz & Hope, 1997). For comparison with Uronemella, some other closely-related taxa are also briefly outlined in the present paper. 相似文献

最近在中国十个省市发现了一个新记录属——巴克斯霉属Backusella,包括一个种的两个变种,即卷曲巴克斯霉原变种B.circina var.circina和卷曲巴克斯霉改级光孢变种B. circina var. lamprospora stat. nov. ≡ B. lamprospora。文章对这两个变种提供了形态描述和线条图,还提供了属内区分所有可以承认的分类群的检索表。把这两个分类群从种级降为变种级的理由亦有所讨论。ITS rDNA序列分析表明,卷曲巴克斯霉是一个多系类群,与放射毛霉属Actinomucor、毛霉属Mucor和根毛霉属Rhizomucor有着密切的谱系关系。这一结果暗示目前的卷曲巴克斯霉种的概念较大,可称为广义卷曲巴克斯霉B.circina s.l.;如果仅仅依靠分子数据,很有可能给出错误的分类学鉴定结果。 相似文献
