Abstract

Interaction plays a central role in archaeological interpretations, yet it has remained theoretically underdeveloped and has often been misused. A framework for dealing with interaction is presented, consisting of: 1) ultimate adaptive conditions for interaction; 2) specific reasons for various types of interaction; 3) modifications of interaction due to aspects of the social matrix; 4) interaction mechanisms; and 5) the artifact patterns resulting from all of these factors. It is clear that “interaction” cannot be treated as a monolithic phenomenon; rather there are many types of interaction with many different outcomes for artifact patterning. The transition from the Paleo-Indian to Archaic stages is analyzed within this framework, and it is suggested that in the simplified interaction context of generalized hunter/ gatherers the size of interaction networks is largely a function of resource reliability and the relative need to maintain subsistence-related alliances between bands.  相似文献

目的探讨品质管理圈对妇产科优质护理服务的影响。方法选取2015年2月~2016年8月我院收治的184例妇产科患者为研究对象,按照入院先后顺序随机分为对照组和观察组各92例,对照组给予常规护理,观察组实施品质管理圈优质护理,比较两组患者护理后的康复状况、护理满意度和护理内容认知度。结果观察组患者的康复效果明显高于对照组,组间比较差异有显著统计学意义(χ~2=6.8452,P0.01)。观察组患者的护理满意度明显高于对照组,组间比较差异有显著统计学意义(χ~2=12.8372,P0.01)。而且观察组患者的认知度明显高于对照组,差异亦有统计学意义(P0.01)。结论实施品质管理圈护理措施,能显著提高妇产科患者的康复效果和护理满意度、护理内容认知度,同时也提高了妇产科的整体护理质量。  相似文献

The situation in tissue banking changed radically and fundamentally at the beginning of the 1990s. The essential causes are on the one hand, the continually increasing demand for human cells and tissue and other biological material for clinical use and research, and on the other hand, the rapid progress in the medical, technical and natural sciences. Biotechnology in particular, has profited from this. Modern tissue banks could no longer be imagined without its methods.A consequence of these developments and a prerequisite for the fulfilment of the derived requirements is the necessity for national and international cooperation as well as the harmonisation of ethical principles and quality assurance standards and regulations (von Versen (1999) Ann Chir Gynaecol 88: 215-220). The introduction of an all-encompassing Quality Management System (QMS) is a suitable instrument for this purpose.After the presentation of explanations and definitions of quality terminology, this article describes the use of the international standard ISO 9000 as a general QMS, which embraces both the specific methodology as well as the general aspects of Quality Management (research and development, design control, education and training, documentation, traceability, management control, corrective action, etc.) in tissue banking. The individual elements of this system are explained and selected examples are described. The authors look upon this QMS as an indispensable instrument for harmonisation and international cooperation in tissue banking.Finally, the use of such a standard would be a positive sign to the regulatory authorities and the public that tissue banking is making a visible effort to introduce a world-class QMS in its operations.  相似文献

The validity and effectiveness of quality control procedures are reviewed here in light of the principles of analytical toxicology, and of the professional responsibility involved in awareness of the profound influence which analytical results have in the fields of health and social security. Regardless of the methods used, laboratory work should aim essentially at achieving a very high degree of reliability. Factors contributing to the `quality' of analytical results and methods used to check their reliability are discussed here. The technical background and organization of internal and external quality control procedures are presented, with particular reference to educational aspects, and to the ways in which computer and internet technologies may be exploited for further improvement of the effectiveness of these procedures.  相似文献

Immunoperoxidase histochemistry is a widespread method of assessing expression of biomolecules in tissue samples. Accurate assessment of the expression levels of genes is critical for the management of disease, particularly as therapy targeted to specific molecules becomes more widespread. Determining the quality of preservation of macromolecules in tissue is important to avoid false negative and false positive results. In this review we discuss (1) issues of sensitivity (false negativity) and specificity (false positivity) of immunohistochemical stains, (2) approaches to better understanding differences in immunostains done by different laboratories (including the recently proposed MISFISHIE specification for tissue localization studies), and (3) approaches to assessing the quality of preservation of macromolecules in tissue, particularly in small biopsy samples.  相似文献

Twenty-two selected quality protein maize (QPM) lines, including 13 lines developed in India (DMRQPM series) and nine lines released by CIMMYT, Mexico (CML series), were evaluated for their endosperm protein content and quality, besides kernel modification in terms of vitreousness. Endosperm protein contents in 13QPMlines were on par or better than that of the normal maize ‘checks’ (Trishulata and Parkash). The QPM endosperm proteins showed significantly higher % tryptophan as well as EF-1α (a multifunctional protein with a positive and highly significant correlation with lysine content in the endosperm) contents, in comparison with the normal maize genotypes. Evaluation of kernel modification revealed considerable scope for accumulation of endosperm modifiers in some of the QPM lines. Positive and highly significant correlation was revealed between tryptophan and EF-1α contents in the endosperm proteins, whereas the correlations between the quality parameters with kernel modification in the QPM genotypes were found to be non-significant. The study led to the identification of some promising QPM lines, such as DMRQPM-37, DMRQPM-44, CML176, CML142 and CML149, which could be effectively deployed in the QPM breeding programmes.  相似文献
