Es werden folgende drei neue Arten derGyalectaceae sensu amplo aus Neu-Guinea beschrieben und abgebildet:Dimerella weberi Vězda sp.n.,Gloeolecta minutissima Vězda sp.n. undGyalidea novaeguineae P. James etVězda sp.n. Die taxonomische Stellung der neuen Arten innerhalb der Gattungen wird kurz behandelt.     

Drei neue moosbewohnende Ascomyceten

The following three species of parastiticascomycetes are described, illustrated and discussed in detail:Octosporella ptilidii spec. nova (Pezizales) onPtilidium ciliare from Switzerland,Nectria mnii spec. nova (Hypocreales) onPlagiomnium medium from Switzerland, andPhilobryon anuliferum gen. et spec. nov. (Dothideales) onPleurozia gigantea from New Guinea. The species are known only from the type collections. It is shown that the hyphae present an array of important characters which deserve the same attention as the fruiting bodies.

Zwei neue Heliotropium-Arten aus Afghanistan

Summary Two new species ofHeliotropium sect.Catimas DC. from the desert Registan in south-eastern Afghanistan are described, one of which,H. arenicolum Rech. f. et H.Riedl, is very closely related toH. Rechingeri H.Riedl (1967) and different from it only in the colour of the stems and the longer basal part of the style. The other one,H. leucocladum H.Riedl, belongs to a very natural group of xerophytic and halophytic species includingH. digynum (Forssk.)Aschers.,H. eremobium Bge.,H. Aucheri DC.,H. halame Boiss. etBuhse,H. Popovii H.Riedl andH. carmanicum Bge. Adaptations to the extremely dry habitat are discussed.     

Einige neue furanoeremophilane aus Senecio-Arten

The investigation of two varieties of the South African S. hypochoerideus affords, besides known compounds, six new furanoeremophilanes and a pimarene-derivative. By contrast, S. greyi has yielded two further new furanoeremophilanes and a new eremophilene. These structures are elucidated mainly by spectroscopic methods. Chemotaxonomic aspects are briefly discussed.

Zusammenfassung Wie Vorderasien seine eigenen Hodotermiten-Arten hat, so verfügt es auch über zwei eigneMicrocerotermes Arten, die von einander gut zu unterscheiden sind. Die neue, hier beschriebene Art,M. gabrielis n. sp., steht dem in Nordafrika vorkommendenM. eugnathus sehr nahe. Die Termitenfauna des inneren Vorderasiens hat also anscheinend keine gemeinsamen Formen mit den Mittelmeerländern.

Summary Just as Asia anterior has its own species of Hodotermites, there are also two own species ofMicrocerotermes, well distinguishable from each other. The new species described in this paper,M. gabrielis n. sp., is near toM. eugnathus of North-Africa. The fauna of the termites of the interior of Asia anterior has probably no common species with the mediterranean countries consequently.

Résumé De même que certaines espèces d'Hodotermites sont propres à l'Asie Antérieure, on trouve aussi dans cette région deux espèces deMicrocerotermes, faciles à distinguer l'une de l'autre. La nouvelle espèce, décrite ici,M. gabrielis n. sp., est très proche duM. eugnathus que l'on trouve en Afrique du Nord. Les Termites de l'intérieur de l'Asie antérieure ne semblent donc pas avoir d'espèces communes avec les pays méditerranéens.
