Using the method of phenylhydrazine-induced anemia in rabbits, a mass of new reticu-locytes, which synchronously grow, were got in vivo. The measurements of deformation index, orientation index, electrophoresis mobility etc. were performed for more than 72 h in the process of reticulocytes turning into red blood cells in vivo. There were obvious changes in the micro-rheological characteristics of reticulocytes in the course of turning into erythrocytes. The present study is significant in clinic for studying erythrocytes' microrheological characteristics when there are a lot of reticulocytes in blood, and also important in basic theorem for studying reticulocytes microrheological characteristics. It makes up a deficiency in the study on microrheological characteristics of reticulocytes turning into new RBCs from reticulocytes during reticulocytes life span.  相似文献

<正> This paper proposes a new adaptive linear domain system identification method for small unmanned aerial rotorcraft.Byusing the flash memory integrated into the micro guide navigation control module, system records the data sequences of flighttests as inputs (control signals for servos) and outputs (aircraft's attitude and velocity information).After data preprocessing, thesystem constructs the horizontal and vertical dynamic model for the small unmanned aerial rotorcraft using adaptive geneticalgorithm.The identified model is verified by a series of simulations and tests.Comparison between flight data and the one-stepprediction data obtained from the identification model shows that the dynamic model has a good estimation for real unmannedaerial rotorcraft system.Based on the proposed dynamic model, the small unmanned aerial rotorcraft can perform hovering,turning, and straight flight tasks in real flight tests.  相似文献

We make a thorough kinematic comparison of forward and backward swimming and maneuvering on a self-propelled robot platform that uses sub-carangifbrm swimming as the primary propulsor. An improved Central Pattern Generator (CPG) model allowing free adjustment of phase relationship and directional bias is employed to achieve flexible swimming and smooth transition. Considering the characteristics of forward swimming in carangiform fish and backward swimming in anguilliform fish, various backward swimming patterns for the sub-carangiform robotic fish are suitably created by reversing the direction of propagating propulsive waves. Through a combined use of the CPG control and closed-loop swimming direction control strategy, flexible and precise turning maneuvers in both forward and backward swimming are implemented and compared. By contrast with forward swimming, backward swimming requires a higher frequency or an increased lateral displacement to reach the same relative swimming speed. Noticeably, the phase difference shows a greater impact on forward swimming than on backward swimming. Our observations also indicate that the robotic fish achieves a larger turning rate in forward maneuvering than in backward maneuvering, yet these two maneuvers display comparable turning precision.  相似文献

Human induced pluripotent stem (hiPS) cells are considered a potential source for the generation of insulin-producing pancreatic β-ceUs because of their differentiation capacity. In this study, we have developed a five-step xeno-free culture system to efficiently dif- ferentiate hiPS cells into insulin-producing cells in vitro. We found that a high NOGGIN concentration is crucial for specifically inducing the differentiation first into pancreatic and duodenal homeobox-1 (PDX1)-positive pancreatic progenitors and then into neurogenin 3 (NGN3)-expressing pancreatic endocrine progenitors, while suppressing the differentiation into hepatic or intestinal cells. We also found that a combination of 3-isobutyl-l-methylxanthine (IBMX), exendin-4, and nicotinamide was important for the differentiation into insulin single-positive cells that expressed various pancreatic β-cell markers. Most notably, the differentiated cells contained en- dogenous C-peptide pools that were released in response to various insulin secretagogues and high levels of glucose. Therefore, our results demonstrate the feasibility of generating hiPS-derived pancreatic β-ceUs under xeno-free conditions and highlight their poten- tial to treat patients with type I diabetes.  相似文献

Mosquitoes are exceptional in their ability to pierce into human skin with a natural ultimate painless microneedle, namedfascicle. Here the structure of the Aedes albopictus mosquito fascicle is obtained using a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM),and the whole process of the fascicle inserting into human skin is observed using a high-speed video imaging technique. Directmeasurements of the insertion force for mosquito fascicle to penetrate into human skin are reported. Results show that themosquito uses a very low force (average 18 μN) to penetrate into the skin. This force is at least three orders of magnitude smallerthan the reported lowest insertion force for an artificial microneedle with an ultra sharp tip to insert into the human skin. In orderto understand the piercing mechanism of mosquito fascicle tip into human multilayer skin tissue, a numerical simulation isconducted to analyze the insertion process using a nonlinear finite element method. A good agreement occurs between thenumerical results and the experimental measurements.  相似文献

The extra small virus (XSV) is a satellite virus associated with Macrobrachium rosenbergii nodavirus (MrNV) and its genome consists of two overlapping ORFs, CP17 and CP16. Here we demonstrate that CP16 is expressed from the second AUG of the CP17 gene and is not a proteinase cleavage result of CP17. We further expressed CP17 and several truncated CP17s (in which the N-or C-terminus or both was deleted), respectively, in Escherichia coli. Except for the recombinant plasmid CP17^AC10, all recombinant plasmids expressed soluble protein which assembled into virus-like particles (VLPs), suggesting that the C-terminus is important for VLP formation.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a biomimetic learning approach for motion generation of a multi-joint robotic fish. Based on a multi-joint robotic fish model, two basic Carangiform swimming patterns, namely "cruise" and "C sharp turning", are extracted as training samples from the observations of real fish swimming. A General Internal Model (GIM), which is an imitation of Central Pattern Generator (CPG) in nerve systems, is adopted to learn and to regenerate coordinated fish behaviors. By virtue of the universal function approximation ability and the temporal/spatial scalabilities of GIM, the proposed learning approach is able to generate the same or similar fish swimming patterns by tuning two parameters. The learned swimming patterns are implemented on a multi-joint robotic fish in experiments. The experiment results verify the effectiveness of the biomimetic learning approach in generating and modifying locomotion patterns for the robotic fish.  相似文献

Chloroplasts and bacterial cells divide by binary fission. The key protein in this constriction division is FtsZ, a self-assembling GTPase similar to eukaryotic tubulin. In prokaryotes, FtsZ is almost always encoded by a single gene, whereas plants harbor several nuclear-encoded FtsZ homologs. In seed plants, these proteins group in two families and all are exclusively imported into plastids. In contrast, the basal land plant Physcomitrella patens, a moss, encodes a third FtsZ family with one member. This protein is dually targeted to the plastids and to the cytosol. Here, we report on the targeted gene disruption of all ftsZ genes in R patens. Subsequent analysis of single and double knockout mutants revealed a complex interaction of the different FtsZ isoforms not only in plastid division, but also in chloroplast shaping, cell patterning, plant development, and gravity sensing. These results support the concept of a plastoskeleton and its functional integration into the cytoskeleton, at least in the moss R patens.  相似文献

We propose a simple statistical approach for using Dispersal-Vicariance Analysis (DIVA) software to infer biogeographic histories without fully bifurcating trees. In this approach, ancestral ranges are first optimized for a sample of Bayesian trees. The probability P of an ancestral range r at a node is then calculated as P(rY) = ∑t^n=1 F(rY)t Pt where Y is a node, and F(rY) is the frequency of range r among all the optimal solutions resulting from DIVA optimization at node Y, t is one of n topologies optimized, and Pt is the probability of topology t. Node Y is a hypothesized ancestor shared by a specific crown lineage and the sister of that lineage "x", where x may vary due to phylogenetic uncertainty (polytomies and nodes with posterior probability 〈 100%). Using this method, the ancestral distribution at Y can be estimated to provide inference of the geographic origins of the specific crown group of interest. This approach takes into account phylogenetic uncertainty as well as uncertainty from DIVA optimization. It is an extension of the previously described method called Bayes-DIVA, which pairs Bayesian phylogenetic analysis with biogeographic analysis using DIVA. Further, we show that the probability P of an ancestral range at Y calculated using this method does not equate to pp*F(rY) on the Bayesian consensus tree when both variables are 〈 100%, where pp is the posterior probability and F(rY) is the frequency of range r for the node containing the specific crown group. We tested our DIVA-Bayes approach using Aesculus L., which has major lineages unresolved as a polytomy. We inferred the most probable geographic origins of the five traditional sections of Aesculus and ofAesculus californica Nutt. and examined range subdivisions at parental nodes of these lineages. Additionally, we used the DIVA-Bayes data from Aesculus to quantify the effects on biogeographic inference of including two wildcard fossil taxa in phylogenetic analysis. The synthesis of tetrapyrroles, including chlorophylls, is central for chloroplast function. The metabolic pathway of tetrapyrrole biosynthesis in Arabidopsis is initiated with the formation of amino levulinic acid (ALA), which is con- verted by a series of common reactions to protoporphy- tin IX (Proto IX) (Tanaka et al., 2011). Then the pathway diverges into two branches: the synthesis of heme/bilin and chlorophylls. The insertion of Mg2+ into Proto IX, cata- lyzed by Mg-chelatase, is the first committed reaction of the chlorophyll branch and is considered a key step for the regulation of the whole pathway. Mg-chelatase is a het- erotrimeric enzyme composed of subunits CHLI, CHLD, and CHLH, the reaction mechanism of which has been estab- lished. It is a two-step process consisting in the Mg-ATP- dependent activation of the enzyme, which implies the formation of a ternary complex of subunits CHLI and CHLD with ATP-Mg2+, and Mg2+ chelation, which is catalyzed by CHLH driven by ATP hydrolysis, CHLI providing ATPase activity to the complex (Tanaka et al., 2011). In Arabidopsis, CHLH and CHLD are encoded by single genes, whereas two genes, CHLI-I and CHLI-2, encode the two isoforms of CHLI.  相似文献

Phalaenopsis malipoensis Z.J.Liu et S.C.Chen,a new species of Orchidaceae from southeastern Yunnan,is described and illustrated.This is a quite distinct species from those known from China and its adjacent regions.It shows a faint resemblance to Phalaenopsis gibbosa Sweet of Laos and Vietnam,but differs by having narrower petals,not zigzag rachis and a large callus on the mid lobe of the lip which is deeply forked with each arm dividing into 2 filiform linear antennae.  相似文献

When developing a humanoid myo-control hand,not only the mechanical structure should be considered to afford a highdexterity,but also the myoelectric (electromyography,EMG) control capability should be taken into account to fully accomplishthe actuation tasks.This paper presents a novel humanoid robotic myocontrol hand (AR hand Ⅲ) which adopted an underac-tuated mechanism and a forearm myocontrol EMG method.The AR hand Ⅲ has five fingers and 15 joints,and actuated by threeembedded motors.Underactuation can be found within each finger and between the rest three fingers (the middle finger,the ringfinger and the little finger) when the hand is grasping objects.For the EMG control,two specific methods are proposed:thethree-fingered hand gesture configuration of the AR hand Ⅲ and a pattern classification method of EMG signals based on astatistical learning algorithm-Support Vector Machine (SVM).Eighteen active hand gestures of a testee are recognized ef-fectively,which can be directly mapped into the motions of AR hand Ⅲ.An on-line EMG control scheme is established basedon two different decision functions:one is for the discrimination between the idle and active modes,the other is for the recog-nition of the active modes.As a result,the AR hand Ⅲ can swiftly follow the gesture instructions of the testee with a time delayless than 100 ms.  相似文献

The Netherlands is "well known" for its nitrogen problems; it has one of the highest reactive nitrogen (Nr) emission densities in the world. It is a small country at the delta of several large European rivers. Ever since the industrial revolution, there has been a growing excess of nutrients and related emissions into the atmosphere (ammonia, nitrogen oxides and nitrous oxide) and into groundwater and surface water (nitrate), leading to a large range of cascading environmental impacts. Vehicular traffic, sewage and animal husbandry are the main sources of oxidized and reduced forms of Nr. This paper provides an overview of the origin and fate of nitrogen in the Netherlands, the various reported impacts of nitrogen, the Dutch and European policies to reduce nitrogen emissions and related impacts. In addition, ways are presented to go forward to potentially solve the problems in a European perspective. Solutions include the improvement of nitrogen efficiencies in different systems, technological options and education.  相似文献
