The Valsalvamaneuver (VM), a voluntary increase in intrathoracic pressure of ~40mmHg, has been used to examine cerebral autoregulation (CA). Duringphase IV of the VM there are pronounced changes in mean arterial bloodpressure (MABP), pulse interval, and cerebral blood flow (CBF), but thechanges in CBF are of a much greater magnitude than those seen in MABP,a finding to date attributed to either a delay in activation of the CAmechanism or the inability of this mechanism to cope with the size andspeed of the blood pressure changes involved. These changes in CBF also precede those in MABP, a pattern of events not explained by the physiological process of CA. Measurements of CBF velocity (transcranial Doppler) and MABP (Finapres) were performed in 53 healthy volunteers (aged 31-80 yr). By calculating beat-to-beat values of critical closing pressure (CCP) during the VM, we have found that this parametersuddenly drops at the start of phase IV, providing a coherentexplanation for the large increase in CBF. If CCP is included in theestimation of cerebrovascular resistance, a temporal pattern moreconsistent with an autoregulatory response to the MABP overshoot isalso found. CCP is intricately involved in the control of CBF duringthe VM and should be considered in the assessment of CA.  相似文献

The catalytic properties of C1r, the protease that mediates activation of the C1 complex of complement, are mediated by its C-terminal region, comprising two complement control protein (CCP) modules followed by a serine protease (SP) domain. Baculovirus-mediated expression was used to produce fragments containing the SP domain and either 2 CCP modules (CCP1/2-SP) or only the second CCP module (CCP2-SP). In each case, the wild-type species and two mutants stabilized in the proenzyme form by mutations at the cleavage site (R446Q) or at the active site serine residue (S637A), were produced. Both wild-type fragments were recovered as two-chain, activated proteases, whereas all mutants retained a single-chain, proenzyme structure, providing the first experimental evidence that C1r activation is an autolytic process. As shown by sedimentation velocity analysis, all CCP1/2-SP fragments were dimers (5.5-5.6 S), and all CCP2-SP fragments were monomers (3.2-3.4 S). Thus, CCP1 is essential to the assembly of the dimer, but formation of a stable dimer is not a prerequisite for self-activation. Activation of the R446Q mutants could be achieved by extrinsic cleavage by thermolysin, which cleaved the CCP2-SP species more efficiently than the CCP1/2-SP species and yielded enzymes with C1s-cleaving activities similar to their active wild-type counterparts. C1r and its activated fragments all cleaved C1s, with relative efficiencies in the order C1r < CCP1/2-SP < CCP2-SP, indicating that CCP1 is not involved in C1s recognition.  相似文献

Climate, vegetation, and soil characteristics play important roles in regulating the spatial variation in carbon dioxide fluxes, but their relative influence is still uncertain. In this study, we compiled data from 241 eddy covariance flux sites in the Northern Hemisphere and used Classification and Regression Trees and Redundancy Analysis to assess how climate, vegetation, and soil affect the spatial variations in three carbon dioxide fluxes (annual gross primary production (AGPP), annual ecosystem respiration (ARE), and annual net ecosystem production (ANEP)). Our results showed that the spatial variations in AGPP, ARE, and ANEP were significantly related to the climate and vegetation factors (correlation coefficients, R = 0.22 to 0.69, P < 0.01) while they were not related to the soil factors (R = -0.11 to 0.14, P > 0.05) in the Northern Hemisphere. The climate and vegetation together explained 60 % and 58 % of the spatial variations in AGPP and ARE, respectively. Climate factors (mean annual temperature and precipitation) could account for 45 - 47 % of the spatial variations in AGPP and ARE, but the climate constraint on the vegetation index explained approximately 75 %. Our findings suggest that climate factors affect the spatial variations in AGPP and ARE mainly by regulating vegetation properties, while soil factors exert a minor effect. To more accurately assess global carbon balance and predict ecosystem responses to climate change, these discrepant roles of climate, vegetation, and soil are required to be fully considered in the future land surface models. Moreover, our results showed that climate and vegetation factors failed to capture the spatial variation in ANEP and suggest that to reveal the underlying mechanism for variation in ANEP, taking into account the effects of other factors (such as climate change and disturbances) is necessary.  相似文献

采用便携式光合仪(Li-6400XT)对太行山南麓栓皮栎、刺槐2个树种叶片光合作用-CO2响应曲线进行测定,利用直角双曲线模型(RH)、非直角双曲线模型(NRH)以及直角双曲线的修正模型—叶子飘模型(YZP)进行曲线拟合,并对3种光合模型的拟合参数(最大净光合能力Amax、初始羧化速率η、光呼吸速率Rp、CO2补偿点CCP和CO2饱和点CSP)进行比较.结果表明: 与NRH和YZP模型相比,RH模型所得的AmaxηRp和CCP较高,分别高出实测值59.8%、128.6%、133.4%和19.8%.与RH模型和YZP模型相比,NRH模型拟合得出的Amax较大,高于实测值11.1%,ηRp和CCP接近于实测值.YZP模型能较好地模拟光合作用对CO2的饱和现象,在Amax和CSP的拟合效果上较好.栓皮栎阴叶的AmaxRp和CCP比阳叶分别低31.3%、5.2%和14.3%.刺槐阴叶的AmaxRp和CCP分别高出阳叶23.5%、11.0%和5.4%.栓皮栎、刺槐阴叶的η分别比阳叶高6.9%和7.0%.刺槐叶片的Rp和CCP与温度、光强均具有显著线性关系,η与气孔导度(gs)具有显著线性关系.栓皮栎叶片的η与光强和气孔导度具有显著线性关系,CCP主要受温度和湿度影响.栓皮栎叶片的Amax与相对湿度和gs具有显著的正线性相关关系.  相似文献

Bone metabolism is often affected by a variety of mechanical forces, but the cytological basis of their action is not known. In this study, we examined the effect of a continuously applied compressive pressure (CCP) on the growth and differentiation of clonal mouse osteoblast-like cells (MC3T3-E1) cultured in a specifically devised culture chamber. The gas phase of the chamber was maintained at a pressure of 2 atmospheres (atm) above ambient (3 atm total, 3.1 kg/cm2; 3.0 x 10(5) Pa) by continuously infusing a compressed mixed gas (O2: N2:CO2 = 7.0%:91.3%:1.7%). The pO2, pCO2, and pH in the culture medium at 37 degrees C under 3 atm were maintained at the same levels as those under 1 atm. MC3T3-E1 cells were cultured in alpha-minimal essential medium containing 10% fetal bovine serum under either 3 atm in the CCP culture chamber or 1 atm in an ordinary CO2 incubator. Alkaline phosphatase activity, a marker of osteoblasts, was greatly suppressed by the CCP treatment. The inhibition of alkaline phosphatase activity was rapidly restored when the cells were transferred to an ordinary CO2 incubator under 1 atm, indicating that the inhibition of alkaline phosphatase activity by CCP is reversible. Cell growth was not altered under CCP. The CCP treatment greatly increased the production and secretion of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). Adding either conditioned medium from the CCP culture or exogenous PGE2 to the control culture under 1 atm suppressed alkaline phosphatase activity dose-dependently. The CCP treatment also suppressed collagen synthesis and calcification. These results suggest that CCP causes the cells to produce and secrete PGE2, which, in turn, inhibits differentiation of osteoblasts and the concomitant calcification.  相似文献

This paper aims at contributing to the understanding of the combination of in vivo sternum displacement, sternal angle variations and sternocostal joints (SCJ) kinematics of the seven first rib pairs over the inspiratory capacity (IC). Retrospective codified spiral-CT data obtained at total lung capacity (TLC), middle of inspiratory capacity (MIC) and at functional residual capacity (FRC) were used to compute kinematic parameters of the bones and joints of interest in a sample of 12 asymptomatic subjects. 3D models of rib, thoracic vertebra, manubrium and sternum were processed to determine anatomical landmarks (ALs) on each bone. These ALs were used to create local coordinate system and compute spatial transformation of ribs and manubrium relative to sternum, and sternum relative to thoracic vertebra. The rib angular displacements and associated orientation of rotation axes and joint pivot points (JPP), the sternal angle variations and the associated displacement of the sternum relative to vertebra were computed between each breathing pose at the three lung volumes. Results can be summarized as following: (1) sternum cephalic displacement ranged between 17.8 and 19.2 mm over the IC; (2) the sternal angle showed a mean variation of 4.4° ± 2.7° over the IC; (3) ranges of rib rotation relative to sternum decreased gradually with increasing rib level; (4) axes of rotation were similarly oriented at each SCJ; (5) JPP spatial displacements showed less variations at first SCJ compared to levels underneath; (6) linear relation was demonstrated between SCJ ROMs and sternum cephalic displacement over the IC.  相似文献

Complement regulator C4b-binding protein (C4BP) and the anticoagulant vitamin K-dependent protein S form a high affinity complex in human plasma. C4BP is composed of seven alpha-chains and a unique beta-chain, each chain comprising repeating complement control protein (CCP) modules. The binding site for protein S mainly involves the first of the three beta-chain CCPs (CCP1). However, recently it has been suggested that CCP2 of the beta-chain also contributes to the binding of protein S. To elucidate the structural background for the involvement of CCP2 in the protein S binding, several recombinant beta-chain CCP1-2 variants having mutations in CCP2 were expressed and tested for protein S binding. Mutations were chosen based on analysis of a homology model of the beta-chain and included R60A/R101A, D66A, L105A, F114A/I116A and H108A. All mutant proteins bound equally well as recombinant wild type to protein S. Several monoclonal antibodies against the beta-chain CCP2 were raised and their influence on protein S binding characterized. Taken together, the results suggest that the role of CCP2 in protein S binding is to orient and stabilize CCP1 rather than to be directly part of the binding site.  相似文献

6 platinum (Pt) compounds were compared in suspension cultured Chinese hamster ovary (CHO-S) cells with respect to their inhibition of growth, their reduction of cloning efficiency, and their induction of mutants resistant to 200 microM (30 micrograms/ml) 8-azaguanine (8-AG) and 3 mM ouabain (OUA), respectively. The toxicity of these compounds can be ranked by the medium concentrations which decrease suspension growth/or cloning efficiency by 50%: cis-Pt(NH3)2-Cl2 (0.9/1.5 microM) greater than Pt(SO4)2 + methylcobalamin (MeB-12) methylation product (20/10 microM) greater than K2PtCl4 (32/50 microM) = K2PtCl6 (34/50 microM) = MePtCl2-3 (60/50 microM) greater than Pt(SO4)2 (66/105 microM). Following 20 h exposures to concentrations which resulted in relative survivals of 80-2%, none of the foregoing compounds increased consistently the frequency of OUA(R) mutants above the spontaneous frequency (6.0 x 10(-6)). Parallel treatments with 800 microM (100 micrograms/ml) ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS) increased the OUA(R) mutant frequency 10--12-fold. Using 8-AG for mutant selection, dose-dependent increases of 5--7-fold above the spontaneous frequency (3--8 x 10(-5) were obtained with cis-Pt(NH3)2Cl2, Pt(S04)2, and the product from Pt(SO4)2 + MeB-12. Identical 20 h exposures to varying amounts of K2PtCl4, K2PtCl6, and MePtCl2-3 did not induce 8-AG(R) mutants. Optimal detection of Pt-induced 8-AG(R) mutants required 7 post-treatments, expression doublings in suspension culture. Under our selection conditions 8/8 spontaneous and 24/24 Pt-induced 8-AG(R) variants contained reduced hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyl transferase (HGPRT) specific activities (means ranging from 3 to 11% of the parental CHO-S cells). When compared from linear plots of the 8-Ag(r) frequency against the initial medium concentration, cis-Pt(NH3)2Cl2 is 134 times and Pt(SO4)2 si 3.5 times more mutagenic than EMS. However, on a cell-survival basis EMS is 8--10-fold more mutagenic than these two Pt-compounds. 6-Thioguanine (10 microM) can be substituted for 8-AG to assay mutant induction by cis-Pt(NH3)2Cl2 and Pt(SO4)2 in CHO-S cells. The sensitivity of the CHO-S HGPRT locus for detecting mutagenesis by Pt complexes can be increased several fold by continuous subculture in the presence of these agents for 10--25 population doublings. By this procedure K2PtCl6 is seen to be weakly mutagenic and 20 microM Pt(SO4)2 produces 8-AG(R) mutants at frequencies requiring 7--8-fold higher concentrations when a fixed 20 h exposure is used.  相似文献

Decay-accelerating factor (DAF) is a complement regulator that dissociates autologous C3 convertases, which assemble on self cell surfaces. Its activity resides in the last three of its four complement control protein repeats (CCP2-4). Previous modeling on the nuclear magnetic resonance structure of CCP15-16 in the serum C3 convertase regulator factor H proposed a positively charged surface area on CCP2 extending into CCP3, and hydrophobic moieties between CCPs 2 and 3 as being primary convertase-interactive sites. To map the residues providing for the activity of DAF, we analyzed the functions of 31 primarily alanine substitution mutants based in part on this model. Replacing R69, R96, R100, and K127 in the positively charged CCP2-3 groove or hydrophobic F148 and L171 in CCP3 markedly impaired the function of DAF in both activation pathways. Significantly, mutations of K126 and F169 and of R206 and R212 in downstream CCP4 selectively reduced alternative pathway activity without affecting classical pathway activity. Rhesus macaque DAF has all the above human critical residues except for F169, which is an L, and its CCPs exhibited full activity against the human classical pathway C3 convertase. The recombinants whose function was preferentially impaired against the alternative pathway C3bBb compared with the classical pathway C4b2a were tested in classical pathway C5 convertase (C4b2a3b) assays. The effects on C4b2a and C4b2a3b were comparable, indicating that DAF functions similarly on the two enzymes. When CCP2-3 of DAF were oriented according to the crystal structure of CCP1-2 of membrane cofactor protein, the essential residues formed a contiguous region, suggesting a similar spatial relationship.  相似文献

Aims Our objectives were to determine the variations in phenotypic traits of Armeniaca sibirica populations and their spatial patterns. Methods We used nested variation, coefficient of variation, multi-comparison, correlation analysis and principal component analysis to analyze the 23 phenotypic traits for 130 individuals in 13 populations of A. sibirica. Important findings The results showed that there were significant differences in phenotypic variations among and within populations. The variation was greater among populations (47.15%) than within population (16.43%). The mean phenotypic differentiation coefficient was 73.03% among populations, indicating the variance among populations being the main source of the phenotypic variation. The average variation coefficient of 23 traits ranged from 7.01% to 27.23%, with an average of 14.28%. The variation coefficient of nutlet was highest (15.67%), and the variation coefficient of fruit was smallest (12.11%). The phenotypic diversity is highest in Wanjiagou Tumotezuoqi and smallest in Horqin, Right Front Banner Chaersen. Longitude, mean annual precipitation and sunshine duration were significantly correlated with major traits of phenotypic. The 13 populations could be divided into four groups according to the principal component analysis. Leaf traits of Wula Mountain and nutlet traits of Archorchin Banner were significantly correlated with ecological and geographic factors.  相似文献

为明确内蒙古山杏(Armeniaca sibirica)种群间和种群内的表型变异程度和变异规律, 以内蒙古山杏自然分布区的13个种群的23个表型性状为研究对象, 采用巢式方差分析、多重比较、变异分析、相关性分析和主成分分析等多种分析方法, 对种群间和种群内的表型多样性及其与地理生态因子的相关性进行了讨论。研究结果表明: 内蒙古山杏的表型性状在种群间和种群内均存在丰富的变异, 种群间的变异大于种群内的变异, 表型性状的平均分化系数为73.03%, 种群间变异是山杏表型变异的主要变异来源。各性状的平均变异系数为14.28%, 变异幅度为7.01%-27.23%, 其中核的变异系数最大, 果的变异系数最小。土默特左旗万家沟种群表型多样性最丰富, 科尔沁右翼前旗察尔森种群表型多样性最小。表型性状主要受经度、年降水量以及年日照时间3个主要地理生态因子影响。通过主成分分析可以把13个种源区划为四大类, 其中乌拉山种群的叶性状和阿鲁科尔沁旗种群的核性状受地理生态因子影响最大。  相似文献

Human epidemiological and animal experimental studies suggest that maternal undernutrition during pregnancy may alter cardiovascular development of the offspring. The extent to which these effects involve changes in fetal cardiovascular function and whether they are necessarily linked to reduced fetal growth is unknown. In sheep, we investigated the effect of a 15% reduction in maternal global nutrition for the first 70 days of gestation (term = 147 days) on fetal blood pressure development, baroreflex control of fetal heart rate (FHR), and cardiovascular responses to acute hypoxemia in late gestation. Basal mean arterial pressure (P < 0.05), systolic blood pressure (P < 0.05), diastolic blood pressure (P < 0.05), and rate-pressure product (P < 0.001) were significantly lower in fetuses of nutritionally restricted ewes (R) compared with controls (C). FHR was not altered. The operating point for the fetal baroreflex was significantly lower in R fetuses compared with C (P < 0.01), but there was no difference between the groups in the cardiovascular response to hypoxemia. We conclude that mild maternal undernutrition alters fetal cardiovascular development, producing low blood pressure and resetting of baroreflex control mechanisms. This effect occurs without any changes in fetal growth or blood gas status.  相似文献

林窗是森林更新演替的重要环节, 揭示林窗环境下功能性状变异来源及其相对贡献, 有助于阐明植物对林窗环境的响应。该研究以中亚热带格氏栲(Castanopsis kawakamii)天然林为对象, 设置9个不同大小的林窗样地, 运用方差分解探讨林窗、物种和个体对叶性状变异的相对贡献, 采用线性回归分析不同大小林窗下群落性状变化及种间和种内性状变异的重要性。研究发现: (1)格氏栲天然林林窗植物比叶面积、叶干物质含量、叶厚和叶绿素含量由种间性状变异主导, 叶氮含量由种内性状变异主导, 叶磷含量受林窗大小影响最大。(2)群落叶磷含量与林窗大小具有显著正相关关系, 土壤温度和水解氮含量对群落叶磷含量具有显著正效应, 土壤有效磷含量具有显著负效应。(3)沿林冠开放度的群落叶磷含量变化主要由种内性状变异引起, 优势种扮演着重要角色。结果表明, 格氏栲天然林林窗环境下植物功能性状仍以种间性状变异为主(平均41%), 但沿林窗环境梯度的群落性状变化主要源自种内性状变异, 通过植物表型可塑性响应环境改变, 优势种作用明显。  相似文献

The effect of elevated atmospheric CO2 on plant growth has been well-documented in the literature. However, few studies have quantified intra-specific genetic variation in growth response, and the potential for natural and artificial selection to act upon this variation. This study examined intra-specific variation in growth response to elevated CO2 in 29 genotypes of white spruce (Picea glauca), a widely distributed and economically important species of the boreal forest region in North America. Trees were exposed to either ambient (370 μL L?1) or twice-ambient CO2 (740 μL L?1). The opportunity for selection (i.e. the relative variation in fitness) was determined at low and high CO2 levels with size as a measure of fitness and heritability of this variation determined. There was considerable variation among the genotypes in size and response to elevated CO2. The increase in mass at elevated CO2 ranged from 23% to 108% depending upon genotype. In spite of this variation, the genetic correlation between the two environments approached unity, as genotype variance was much greater than the genotype×CO2 variance. Elevated CO2 had no effect on heritability of the size-related traits we examined, and either had no effect on opportunity for selection, or decreased it. We conclude that selection at elevated atmospheric CO2 is unlikely to increase mean plant size in white spruce beyond that observed for present day populations grown at elevated CO2, despite the substantial genetic variation in CO2 response displayed by this species.  相似文献

We studied the variation on floral traits of Narcissus cyclamineus, a species endemic to the northwestern Iberian Peninsula. We analyzed the effect of different breeding systems and the degree of herkogamy and stigmatic exertion on female reproductive success. Results showed that, while variation on floral structures is relatively low (i.e. less than 25% for all sterile structures), CVs for herkogamy and stigmatic exertion are much higher. We also found a considerable variation among populations in the relative position of stigmas and anthers and a significant effect of breeding system (facilitated autogamy, spontaneous autogamy or xenogamy) on fruit set and seed production. The number of seeds per fruit bears no relation with corona size, degree of stigmatic exertion or herkogamy. However, herkogamy showed a marginally significant effect on mean seed weight per fruit. The results highlight the need to analyze the influence of continuous variations in the position of floral organs on the reproductive success of the monomorphic species of the genus Narcissus.  相似文献

We have determined and compared trace metals concentration in saliva taken from chemical warfare injures who were under the exposure of mustard gas and healthy subjects by means of inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) for the first time. The influence of preliminary operations on the accuracy of ICP-OES analysis, blood contamination, the number of restored teeth in the mouth, salivary flow rate, and daily variations in trace metals concentration in saliva were also considered. Unstimulated saliva was collected at 10:00–11:00 a.m. from 45 subjects in three equal groups. The first group was composed of 15 healthy subjects (group 1); the second group consisted of 15 subjects who, upon chemical warfare injuries, did not use Salbutamol spray, which they would have normally used on a regular basis (group 2); and the third group contained the same number of patients as the second group, but they had taken their regular medicine (Salbutamol spray; group 3). Our results showed that the concentration of Cu in saliva was significantly increased in the chemical warfare injures compared to healthy subjects, as follows: healthy subjects 15.3± 5.45(p.p.b.), patients (group 2) 45.77±13.65, and patients (Salbutamol spray; group 3) 29 ±8.51 (P <0.02). In contrast, zinc was significantly decreased in the patients, as follows: healthy subjects 37 ± 9.03(p.p.b.), patients (group 2) 12.2 ± 3.56, and patients (Salbutamol spray; group 3) 20.6 ±10.01 (P < 0.01). It is important to note that direct dilution of saliva samples with ultrapure nitric acid showed the optimum ICP-OES outputs.  相似文献

Background and purposeTo study the impact of coronal and sagittal views (CSV) on the gross tumor volume (GTV) delineation on CT and matched PET/CT scans in non-small cell lung cancer.Material and methodsGTV delineations were performed by 11 experienced radiation oncologists on CT and PET/CT in 22 patients. Two tumor groups were defined: Group I: Primary tumors surrounded by lung or visceral pleura, without venous invasion, and without large extensions to the chest wall or the mediastinum. Group II: Tumors invading the hilar region, heart, large vessels, pericardium, and the mediastinum and/or associated with atelectasis. Tumor volumes and inter-observers variations (SD) were calculated and compared according to the use of axial view only (AW), axial/coronal/sagittal views (ACSW) and ACSW/PET (ACSWP).ResultsCSV were not frequently used (57.4% out of 242 delineations on CT). For group I, ACSW didn’t improve significantly mean GTVs. SDs were small on CT and on PET (SD = 0.3 cm). For group II, ACSW had 27–46% smaller observer variation (mean SD = 0.7 cm) than AW (mean SD = 1.1 cm). The smaller observer variation of ACSW users was associated with, on average, a 40% smaller delineated volume (p = 0.038). Mean GTV of ACSWP was 21% larger than mean GTV of ACSW on CT.ConclusionsFor smaller lung tumors surrounded by healthy lung tissue the effect of multiple axis delineation is limited. However, application of coronal and sagittal windows is highly beneficial for delineation of more complex tumors, with atelectasis and/or pathological lymph nodes even if PET is used.  相似文献

Oxytocin (OXY), a well-known nonapeptide, plays a crucial role in reproduction, and has effects on modulating the immune and inflammatory processes in living organisms as well. Recently it is also known as an antioxidant in several organs. The present study aims to demonstrate the protective effect of OXY against ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury in urinary bladder tissue. Abdominal aorta of rats, were clamped to perform urinary bladder ischemia. OXY (0.5 μg/kg) was injected intraperitoneally before ischemia in I/R + OXY group, whereas the vehicle solution was injected to I/R group. At the end of reperfusion, tissue samples from urinary bladder were processed for histochemical, ultrastructural and biochemical analysis. Tissue sections were stained by toluidine blue for mast cell counting and hematoxylin–eosin for histopathology. In addition, malondialdehyde (MDA) and glutathione (GSH) levels were determined biochemically. The results demonstrated that there was an extreme damage at urothelium, dilatation of intercellular junctions, inflammatory cell infiltration in I/R group. I/R + OXY group demonstrated a reduction in the severity of urinary bladder damage. According to mast cell counting results, both granulated and degranulated mast cells were decreased in I/R + OXY group compared to I/R group. The mean MDA level was higher in I/R group compared to control and lower in I/R + OXY group compared to I/R group. GSH level reduced in I/R group compared to the control and increased in I/R + OXY group compared to I/R group. In conclusion, oxytocin, as confirmed by histological evaluation and biochemical assays has a potential protective effect in the urinary bladder tissue against ischemia/reperfusion injury.  相似文献

The functional status of the cutaneous division of the orthosympathetic nervous system was indirectly and non-invasively assessed by monitoring the skin electrical relative resistance variations (SERV). The advantages of our recording system of second generation were (1) simultaneous recording on two or four channels of the evoked electrodermal response to psychic or to sensorial stimulus; (2) self-balancing system which allows the recording of the relative variation of the electric parameter, i.e. its variation with time; (3) precise determination of the amplitude (omega/s, mu F/s) of the evoked response; (4) reference of the latency time (LT) of the evoked response to the length of the anatomical pathway of the signal giving the autonomic conduction velocity (ACV). Decrease in diabetic autonomic neuropathy of both spontaneous and evoked electrodermal activities suggested their relationship with cutaneous sympathetic activity.  相似文献
