The frequency of occurrence of the litter-decomposing basidiomycetes ofPicea abies andP. glehnii forest floors in Hokkaido was investigated. In both theP. abies andP. glehnii forest plots (each 10 m×10 m), litter-decomposing basidiomycetes of the generaCollybia andMycena were frequently observed. Species composition, frequency of occurrence, and basidioma numbers of each species were different between the two forest plots, but several species were common to both. Seven species isolated from theP. glehnii forest plot (C. acervata, C. pinastris, Marasmius pallidocephalus, Ma. wettsteinii, My. aurantiidisca, My. clavicularis, Mycena sp. 1) and four species from theP. abies forest plot (C. pinastris, My. alphitophora (=My. osmundicola), Mycena sp. 1,My. vulgaris) were tested for their ability to degrade lignin by a simple plate test for extracellular phenoloxidases and by measuring Klason lignin loss from needle litter of spruce. All the strains of the litter-decomposing fungi tested showed positive reactions on the plate test. Lignin contained in the needle litter was degraded by all strains tested (onlyMy. alphitophora was not tested), and rates varied from 9% to 40% over a two-month period in vitro. Seven species with ligninolytic ability in theP. glehnii forest plot and four such species in theP. abies forest plot were found respectively in 77% and 60% of the 100 subplots in each plot. The results of this study suggest that lignin decomposition of needle litter by litter-decomposing basidiomycetes in the forest floor is a common event in the studiedPicea forests of Hokkaido and that the diversity of the ligninolytic activity among the species or strains may cause spatial heterogeneity of litter decomposition in thePicea forest floor.  相似文献

Electrophoretic and morphological variation was studied in 13 cultivars ofC. lanatus and 31 accessions ofC. colocynthis from Israel. Twelve enzyme systems were assayed, representing 19 loci. We found 12 commercially grown cultivars to be monomorphic at all loci. OneC. lanatus accession collected from Israel is highly polymorphic and carries alleles ofC. colocynthis; this accession is probably a representative of a locally cultivated land race grown by Bedouins for animal feed. Over a range of 500 km two forms ofC. colocynthis were identified: one which grows along the coastal plains of the Mediterranean and the other in the arid Negev and Sinal deserts. A high level of electrophoretic and morphological divergence was found between plants of the two regions, whereas within the ecotypes little variation was observed.  相似文献

广义金钱菌属分布广泛,物种多样性丰富,包括了许多具有食药用价值的种类,具有较高的经济、生态和科研价值,但我国对该类真菌的关注较少。本文回顾了金钱菌属的建立与发展历程,以及分子生物学研究方法应用于该类真菌后其系统学的变化过程;介绍了欧洲与北美地区对栎裸脚伞复合群物种的区分过程;总结了广义金钱菌属真菌在生物防治和药用功效及化学成分研究等方面的研究进展。同时,还发现了各地对广义金钱菌属真菌的分类学研究水平差异较大,各地区研究水平不均衡和分子系统学研究不完善等问题,所以我国亟需对该类真菌资源调查与挖掘,以期为后续研究提供参考依据。  相似文献

To determine and compare innate preferences of the parasitoid speciesCotesia glomerata andC. rubecula for different plant-herbivore complexes, long-range (1-m) foraging behavior was studied in dual-choice experiments in a wind tunnel. In this study we tested the hypothesis that naive females of the specialistC. rubecula should show more pronounced preferences for different plant-herbivore complexes than females of the generalistC. glomerata. The herbivore species used were the pieridsPieris brassicae, P. rapae, P. Napi, andAporia crataegi and the nonhostsPlutella xylostella andMamestra brassicae. All herbivore species feed mainly on cabbage and wild crucifers, exceptAporia crataegi, which feeds on species of Rosaceae. Both parasitoid species preferred herbivore-damaged plants over nondamaged plants. NeitherC. rubecula norC. glomerata discriminated between plants infested by different caterpillar species, not even between plants infested by host-and nonhost species. Both parasitoid species showed preferences for certain cabbage cultivars and plant species. No differences were found in innate host-searching behavior betweenC. glomerata andC. rubecula. The tritrophic system cabbage-caterpillars-Cotesia sp. seems to lack specificity on the herbivore level, whereas on the plant level differences in attractiveness to parasitoids were found.  相似文献

Actiniceps thwaitesii (Pterulaceae) new to Japan andAnastrophella podocarpicola sp. nov. (Tricholomataceae) are described and illustrated. The former is characterized by forming stipitate-capitate basidiomata under 1 mm tall with encrusted cystidia and acanthophyses. The latter, occurring on a decaying leaf ofPodocarpus macrophyllus, differs from other taxa ofAnastrophella in having undifferentiated hymenial cystidia and smaller basidiospores and basidia. Five new species of the Boletaceae (Agaricales) from Japan are described and illustrated: (1) Boletus bannaensis sp. nov. (section Luridi), forming a grayish-brown pileus and rufescent flesh, found in subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests; (2) Leccinum rhodoporosum sp. nov., forming discolorous red pores, a whitish stipe covered overall with violet-brown to blackish-brown furfuraceous scales and fusoid-cylindrical brown basidiospores, found in subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests or warm-temperate Quercus-Pinus forests; (3) Pulveroboletus brunneoscabrosus sp. nov., forming a lemon-yellow pulverulent basidiomata covered overall with orange to brownish-orange appressed scales, found in subtropical to warm temperate evergreen broad-leaved forests; (4) Rubinoboletus monstrosus sp. nov., forming a brownish-orange to yellowish-brown pileus and a very short, nonreticulate, hollow stipe, found in subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests; and (5) Tylopilus fuligineoviolaceus sp. nov., having a deep violet to blackish-brown pileus and brunnescent hymenophore, found in warm temperate Quercus-Castanopsis forests.  相似文献

Coreopsis nuecensoides andC. nuecensis are narrowly distributed endemics of southeastern Texas. While they overlap in range, they differ in chromosome number, and F1 hybrids exhibit strong sterility barriers. Previous morphological, cytogenetic, and allozyme studies suggested thatC. nuecensoides andC. nuecensis are very closely related members of a progenitor-derivative species pair. The two species differ substantially in terms of their leaf flavonoid chemistry, but the flavonoid data do not address the exact nature of the relationship between them. We have further examined the relationship between the species by analyzing genetic diversity within both species using chloroplast DNA (cpDNA) restriction site data. Sixteen restriction site changes were used to define thirteen distinct cpDNA haplotypes. The pattern of relationships among haplotypes provides some support for the presumed ancestor-descendent relationship, but other interpretations are possible. Only one cpDNA haplotype was shared by the two species; of the remaining twelve, seven were unique to one species and five to the other. This result is consistent with results of flavonoid studies, in which each species exhibited flavonoid compounds not seen in the other, but differs from the allozyme results, in which the vast majority of alleles were shared by both species and only the presumed progenitor exhibited unique alleles. Taken together, the data support a very close relationship between the species, but are equivocal with regard to a progenitor-derivative relationship.  相似文献
