The leukotriene B(4) receptor (BLTR) is a seven-transmembrane chemoattractant receptor that is important in pro-inflammatory responses. We have produced the first widely applicable monoclonal antibodies against the human BLTR and confirmed the antibody specificity using flow cytometric analysis of three different cell lines stably expressing the recombinant receptor. The antibodies did not cross-react with the recently cloned second LTB(4) receptor, BLTR2, or the Cys LT1 and Cys LT2 receptors. Functional analysis in combination with two-color flow cytometry showed that the BLTR antibodies bind to cells that are activated by LTB(4). The antibodies were shown to recognize BLTR in cell ELISA and immunocytochemistry. Endogenous expression of BLTR in CD15-positive blood leukocytes and in differentiated HL-60 cells was also demonstrated with the antibodies.  相似文献

Human leukocyte chemoattractant receptors activate chemotactic and cytotoxic pathways to varying degrees and also activate different G-proteins depending on the receptor and the cell-type. To determine the relationship between G-protein usage and the biological and biochemical responses activated, receptors for the chemoattractants formyl peptides (FR), platelet-activating factor (PAFR), and leukotriene B(4) (BLTR) were transfected into RBL-2H3 cells. Pertussis toxin (Ptx) served as a Galpha(i) inhibitor. These receptors were chosen to represent the spectrum of G(i) usage as Ptx had differential effects on their ability to induce calcium mobilization, phosphoinositide hydrolysis, and exocytosis with complete inhibition of all responses by FR, intermediate effects on BLTR, and little effect on PAFR. Ptx did not affect ligand-induced phosphorylation of PAFR and BLTR but inhibited phosphorylation of FR. In contrast, chemotaxis to formylmethionylleucylphenylalanine, leukotriene B(4), and platelet-activating factor was completely blocked by Ptx. Wortmannin, a phosphotidylinositol 3-kinase inhibitor, also completely blocked ligand-induced chemotaxis by all receptors but did not affect calcium mobilization or phosphoinositide hydrolysis; however, it partially blocked the exocytosis response to formylmethionylleucylphenylalanine and the platelet-activating factor. Membrane ruffling and pseudopod extension via the BLTR was also completely inhibited by both Ptx and wortmannin. These data suggest that of the chemoattractant receptors studied, G-protein usage varies with FR being totally dependent on G(i), whereas BLTR and PAFR utilize both G(i) and a Ptx-insensitive G-protein. Both Ptx-sensitive and -insensitive G-protein usage can mediate the activation of phospholipase C, mobilization of intracellular calcium, and exocytosis by chemoattractant receptors. Chemotaxis, however, had an absolute requirement for a G(i)-mediated pathway.  相似文献

A study is made of the relationship between early and late damage after irradiation of the feet or ears of rats. In one type of experiment in which large groups of animals were given the same dose, there was a good correlation between the early and late forms of damage. In another experiment, the relationship between these two forms of radiation damage was found to be unaltered by a single dose of X-rays given 8 months earlier. Thus, both types of experiment point to the early and late forms of reaction in the skin of rodents resulting from a common cause. Other relevant experimental data and their relationship to clinical observations are discussed.  相似文献

A distribution picture was prepared on the basis of the correlation between peroxidase activity and cell size in leukemic cells using an automated leukocyte differential counter (Hemalog-D). From this, acute nonlymphocytic leukemia was classified into three groups in which the therapeutic response was examined. The leukemic cells of Group I were medium or large and were negative or weakly positive to peroxidase. These cells were characterized by their location in the upper part of the normal lymphocyte distribution. The leukocyte differential count, measured by a computer on the basis of the distribution picture, showed an increase in large unstained cells (LUC) and lymphocytes. The leukemic cells of Group II were large and positive to peroxidase and were characterized by their location in the right upper part, across the region of LUC, monocytes, basophil and neutrophil leukocytes as seen in the distribution picture. The findings of Hemalog-D showed an increase in LUC, remainder and neutrophil leukocytes. The leukemic cells of Group III were medium-sized and moderately or strongly positive to peroxidase. This group was characterized by their location in the lower part of normal neutrophil leukocytes and Hemalog-D showed an increase in neutrophil leukocytes. A total of 71 patients with acute nonlymphocytic leukemia were assessed according to this classification. Group I (14 patients): 11 with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), 2 with acute monocytic leukemia (AMoL) and 1 with acute myelomonocytic leukemia ( AMMoL ); Group II (17 patients): 7 with AML and 10 with AMoL; Group III (40 patients): 28 with AML, 4 with AMoL, 1 with AMMoL and 7 with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). These groups were treated with the protocol (DCMP two step, BH-AC DMP, BH-AC AMP) established by the Yamada Leukemia Study Group of the Japan Welfare Ministry Cancer Research Project (chairman Yamada, K). The complete remission rate was 35.7% in Group I, 58.8% in Group II and 85.0% in Group III. The difference between Groups I and III was statistically significant (P less than 0.005), as was the difference between Groups II and III (P less than 0.1), while that between Groups I and II was not significant. The median survival was 12 months in Group I, 9 months in Group II and 15 months in the Group III and the difference between Groups I and III was statistically significant (P less than 0.05). ObjectiveThis study was designed to evaluate the effects of type I collagen degradation on the durability of three adhesive systems in the early phase of dentin bonding.MethodsBonded dentin specimens were prepared using three different types of adhesive systems. Micro-tensile bond strength and degradation of collagen were tested before, and after 1 month or 4 months of aging in artificial saliva. The relationship between micro-tensile bond strength and collagen degradation was analyzed by calculating their Pearson’s correlation coefficient.ResultsAging induced time-dependent reduction in micro-tensile bond strengths for all the tested adhesive systems, although such reduction for the single-step self-etching adhesive G-Bond (GB) was not statistically significant. The bond strength of the two-step self-etching primer adhesive system Clearfil SE Bond (SEB) was similar to that of the two-step etch-and-rinse self-priming adhesive system Single Bond 2 (SB), and they were both significantly reduced after one or four months of aging. A negative correlation was found between the degree of collagen degradation and magnitude of micro-tensile bond strength (r = - 0.65, p = 0.003). The Pearson’s correlation coefficient was 0.426, indicating that 42.6% of the aging-induced reduction in bond strength can be explained by the degradation of collagen.ConclusionsIn the early phase of dentin bonding, there was a negative correlation between the degree of collagen degradation and the magnitude of micro-tensile bond strength. The reduction of bond strength was accompanied by the degradation of collagen. These results provide evidence for the causative relationship between the degradation of collagen and the deterioration of dentin-adhesive interface.  相似文献

INTRODUCTION: The II generation method using human recombination thyrotropin receptors for measurement of thyrotropin binding inhibitory immunoglobulins (TBII) is characterized by increased sensitivity and specificity in comparison with I generation method. AIM OF STUDY was to determine, whether TBII levels measured with II generation assay reflect thyroid stimulation and whether measurement of thyroid stimulating antibodies (TSI) could be replaced by TBII determinations. Specific aim was to evaluate, whether correlation between TSI and TBII levels is stable during antithyroid therapy. MATERIAL AND METHODS: 41 patients with the newly diagnosed Graves' disease were included in the study. TSI (cAMP levels in CHO cell line) and TBII (II generation assay) levels were determined before treatment and after 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 months of thiamazol therapy. Moreover, thyroid blocking antibodies were determined after 12 months of treatment. RESULTS: 32 patients (82.05%) had positive basic TSI level and 35 patients (89.74%) had positive basic TBII level. After 12 months of therapy negative level of TSI was observed in 67.57% of patients and negative level of TBII was founded in 45.85% of patients. Correlation between TSI and TBII levels was positive during treatment course except time after 9 months of therapy. CONCLUSIONS: TBII level is adequate parameter to assess thyroid stimulation intensity. Positive correlation between TSI and TBII levels is present during almost whole treatment course. TBII seems to be reliable parameter in disease activity monitoring and response to therapy.  相似文献

目的:探讨前列腺癌患者组织中核糖体蛋白L6(RPL6)表达,分析其对肿瘤恶性程度的评估作用。方法:收集2013年12月-2015年12月在本院接受治疗的前列腺疾病患者117例,根据病理结果分为前列腺炎组63例、前列腺癌组54例;另取同期进行健康体检的健康者80例作为正常对照组。采用Western-blot法检测三组研究对象的前列腺组织RPL6表达,采用酶联免疫吸附法(ELISA)测定血清肿瘤标志物含量,采用RT-PCR法检测前列腺组织增殖基因、侵袭基因mRNA表达,采用Pearson检验分析RPL6表达量与肿瘤恶性程度的相关关系。结果:前列腺癌组患者的前列腺组织RPL6表达量高于前列腺炎组及正常对照组(P0.05);前列腺癌组患者的血清前列腺特异性抗原(PSA)、前列腺特异性酸性磷酶(PSAP)、尿激酶型纤溶酶原激活剂(u PA)、硫氧还蛋白(TRX)含量高于前列腺炎组及正常对照组(P0.05);前列腺癌组患者的前列腺组织增殖基因URG11、PTEN mRNA表达量高于前列腺炎组及正常对照组,PRDM5 mRNA表达量低于前列腺炎组及正常对照组,侵袭基因IgGHG1、TMPRSS2-ER、PIK3C2B mRNA表达量高于前列腺炎组及正常对照组(P0.05)。前列腺癌患者的组织RPL6表达量与肿瘤标志物含量、增殖及侵袭基因活性均呈直接相关关系(P0.05)。结论:高表达的RPL6是前列腺癌早期诊断的可靠指标,且与肿瘤恶性程度直接相关,有望成为前列腺癌辅助诊断及预后评估的重要手段。  相似文献

This study examined the effects of diet on the development of prostatitis in male rats. Adult male rats were placed on either of two specially formulated diets which differed from one another by the presence or absence of soy as the protein source. A third group of rats (control) was fed standard laboratory rat chow which also includes soy as a source of protein. After 11 weeks, it was found that rats maintained on soy-free diet developed prostatitis mainly in the lateral lobe of the prostate. Increased severity and incidence of prostatitis in rats maintained on the soy-free diet coincided with a significant decrease in urinary excretion of various phytoestrogens. There was no evidence of prostatitis in rats maintained on soy-containing diets. Urinary excretion of phytoestrogens in rats maintained on soy-containing diet was also not different from controls. These results suggest that soy as a dietary source plays a protective role against the development of prostatitis in rats, and indicate that the ventral, lateral and dorsal lobes of the rat prostate have different sensitivities to alterations in dietary factors.  相似文献

The possible relationship between the renin-angiotensin system and water balance in the toad Bufo arenarum has been indirectly explored. A positive correlation was found between the hydrosmotic response of ventral pelvic toad skin to angiotensin II (A II) and some age indicators (body weight, snout-urostyle length or head width). A different hydrosmotic response for oxytocin and isoproterenol (but not for A II) was found between four cutaneous regions of toad body. We conclude that A II may not be directly involved in the regulation of water balance mediated by water absorption across the skin of Bufo arenarum toads.  相似文献

To evaluate by means of blood progesterone levels and estrous expression the effect of the injection of 25 mg of PGF2alpha in Zebu cows, 17 Indobrazil cows with a palpable corpus luteum (CL) were injected with PGF2alpha and blood samples taken every 6 h in Experiment I. In Experiment II, 15 cows from the previous experiment at the same stage of diestrus were injected with PGF2alpha and bled every 4 h for 5 d. Progesterone levels had declined by 50% 6 h after injection in all cows and dropped to below 1 ng/ml by 30 h. Estrus was observed in 47% of the animals in Experiment I and 60% in Experiment II. Ovulation was detected accurately in 29% of the animals at 33.6 +/- 11.6 h after the onset of estrus. The correlation between finding a CL by rectal palpation and levels of progesterone higher than 1 ng/ml of blood was 86 and 93% in Experiments I and II, respectively. These studies indicate that the injection of 25 mg of PGF2alpha is sufficient to produce luteolysis in Zebu cattle, although estrous expression is poor.  相似文献

Thirty postmenopausal women (11 omnivores, 10 vegetarians and 9 apparently healthy women with surgically removed breast cancer) were investigated with regard to the association of their urinary excretion of estrogens, lignans and isoflavonoids (all diphenols) with plasma sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). A statistically significant positive correlation between urinary total diphenol excretion and plasma SHBG was found which remained statistically significant after elimination of the confounding effect of body mass determined by body mass index (BMI). Furthermore we found a statistically significant negative correlation between plasma SHBG and urinary excretion of 16-hydroxyestrone and estriol which also remained significant after eliminating the effect of BMI. Furthermore we observed that enterolactone (Enl) stimulates the synthesis of SHBG by HepG2 liver cancer cells in culture acting synergistically with estradiol and at physiological concentrations. Enl was rapidly conjugated by the liver cells, mainly to its monosulfate. Several lignans and the isoflavonoids daidzein and equol were found to compete with estradiol for binding to the rat uterine type II estrogen binding site (the s.c. bioflavonoid receptor). It is suggested that lignans and isoflavonoids may affect uptake and metabolism of sex hormones by participating in the regulation of plasma SHBG levels and in this way influence their biological activity and that they may inhibit cancer cell growth like some flavonoids by competing with estradiol for the type II estrogen binding sites.  相似文献

目的:研究CYP11B2-344C/T(醛固酮合成酶)及ACEI/D(血管紧张素转化酶)基因多态性与慢性心力衰竭(CHF)患者实施ACEI治疗后出现醛固酮脱逸表现的关系。方法:回顾分析2008年10月至2012年10月我科收治的252例CHF患者,全部患者应用ACEI治疗3月,醛固酮在基线以上为醛固酮脱逸,依据此标准将患者分为研究组(脱逸组,n=86)与对照组(非脱逸组,n=166),依据PCR(聚合酶链反应)及RFLP(片段长度限制多态性)等方法分别检测两组CYP11B2及ACE基因型,比较两组基因型频率的分布。结果:252例患者中,共86例出现醛固酮脱逸,发生率为34.1%。全部受试患者CYP11B2基因型及ACE基因型频率与Weinberg-Hardy平衡均相符(P均0.05)。研究组ACE I/D三种基因型的组间分布与对照组相较,无统计学差异(P0.05);CYP11B2基因TT型的频率与对照组相较,呈明显统计学差异(P0.05),等位基因C/T频率的组间分布同对照组相较,亦呈明显差异(P0.05)。研究组ACEI/D的基因多态性及CYP11B2-344C/T的多态性中,基因型联合组间分布与对照组相较,无统计学差异(P0.05)。结论:ACE基因多态性与CHF患者ACEI治疗后出现醛固酮脱逸无关,CYP11B2基因T等位基因及TT基因型多态性可能是CHF患者ACEI治疗后发生醛固酮脱逸的高危因素。醛固酮脱逸时,ACE、CYP11B2基因不具有协同效果。  相似文献

The response to the male effect was studied in two flocks of Saanen and three of Alpine goats during deep anoestrus in three consecutive years. Males and females were subjected to artificially long days for about 3 months (between December 4 and April 1) followed by a natural photoperiod. Bucks joined goats 42-63 days after the end of the long days treatment (between April 20 and June 3) and fertilisation was ensured by natural mating. In experiment 1 (n=248), female goats were treated or untreated with melatonin at the end of the long days treatment and treated or untreated for 11 days with fluorogestone acetate (FGA) before teasing. The males received melatonin implants. In experiment 2 (n=337), the factor studied was the association or non-association of the 11-day FGA treatment. Neither males nor females received melatonin implants. In experiment 3 (n=180), goats were treated for 11 days with FGA or with natural progesterone (CIDR). Neither males nor females received melatonin implants. In experiment 1, among the non-cycling goats (n=218), 99% ovulated and 81% kidded at 161+/-8 days after joining. Ninety-two percent of FGA-treated goats displayed an LH surge at 65+/-11h after teasing. Melatonin treatment did not affect any parameter but FGA advanced the kidding date. In experiment 2, 94% of the goats ovulated and 87% kidded. A major peak of conception was observed on days 3 and 8 after joining in FGA-treated and untreated goats, respectively. Among the FGA-treated goats, 83% displayed an LH surge. Over all flocks, most of the LH surges occurred over a 24-36 h interval, but the surge was initiated at different times in different flocks (36, 48 or 60 h after joining). FGA treatment did not influence the results, except for advancement of births of about 5 days. Differences among flocks were highly significant. In experiment 3, 94% of the goats displayed the LH surge, 93% ovulated and 68% kidded. Significant differences were found among flocks, but not between the FGA and CIDR groups. Bucks marked 85% of the goats 24-72 h after joining. The time interval between the detection of marked goats and detection of the LH surge depended on the time of marking (r=-0.62; p<0.05). In conclusion, treatment of both males and females goats with artificially long days followed by a natural photoperiod is very effective in inducing highly synchronous and fertile reproductive activity via the male effect in the middle of seasonal anoestrus.  相似文献

目的探讨慢性前列腺炎患者前列腺内的微生物种类。方法慢性前列腺炎81例,其中Ⅱ型前列腺炎(慢性细菌性前列腺炎)11例,Ⅲ型前列腺炎(慢性非细菌性前列腺炎)70例。前列腺液取材行细菌培养、解脲脲原体(UU)和人型支原体(MH)的培养、沙眼衣原体(CT)检测,并行淋病奈瑟菌(NG)、结核分枝杆菌(TB)、UU、CT、HPV、HSV-2、CMV的PCR检测,以及细菌16SDNA检测。结果Ⅱ型前列腺炎的病原谱涵盖多种革兰阳性菌和革兰阴性菌,还有CT、CMV、HSV-2和HPV。Ⅲ型前列腺炎中解脲支原体阳性率为37.0%(30/81),沙眼衣原体阳性率为13.6%(11/81)。前列腺液病毒感染率分别为HPV8.6%(7/81),HSV-211.1%(9/81),CMV18.5%(15/81)。研究组前列腺液细菌16SDNA阳性率为66.7%,其中Ⅱ型前列腺炎为100%,Ⅲ型前列腺炎为61.4%。结论慢性前列腺炎患者前列腺内微生物种类繁多,其中许多微生物可能是Ⅲ型前列腺炎的致病因素。  相似文献

Background

High-resolution manometry (HRM) has improved the accuracy of manometry in detecting achalasia and has helped distinguish between clinically relevant subtypes. This study investigated whether HRM metrics correlate with the achalasia symptoms and symptomatic outcomes of peroral esophageal myotomy (POEM).

Methods

Of the 30 patients who were enrolled, 25 were treated with POEM, 12 of who underwent HRM after 3 months. All the patients completed the Eckardt score questionnaires, and those who underwent POEM were followed up for about 6 months. Pearson correlation was used to assess the relationship between the HRM metrics and symptoms and outcomes.

Key results

The integrated relaxation pressure (IRP) score positively correlated with the total Eckardt score, regurgitation score and weight loss score in all the patients, and with the weight loss score in type I achalasia. In 25 patients (10 patients, type I; 15 patients, type II) who underwent POEM, the total Eckardt scores and individual symptom scores significantly decreased after surgery. Changes in the Eckardt scores were similar between type I and type II. Further, the Eckardt scores and weight loss score changes were positively correlated with baseline IRP. Twelve patients (4 patients, type I; 8 patients, type II) underwent HRM again after POEM. IRP changed significantly after POEM, as did the DEP in type II. The IRP changes after POEM were positively correlated with the Eckardt score changes.

Conclusions & Inferences

IRP is correlated with the symptoms and outcomes of achalasia patients. Thus, HRM is effective for assessing the severity of achalasia and can predict the efficacy of POEM.  相似文献

The objectives of this study were: (1) to evaluate the effect of sire on the time from insemination to first cleavage following insemination in vitro and the relationship of this parameter to field fertility and (2) to establish the relationship between the kinetics of cleavage in vitro and oocyte developmental competence for bulls of known field fertility. Frozen semen from six bulls with 150-day non-return rates ranging from 57-78% was used. In experiment 1, after insemination with semen from one of the six bulls, presumptive zygotes were transferred to IVC in droplets of synthetic oviduct fluid. Droplets were examined at 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 42, and 48 hr after insemination and the number of cleaved oocytes was recorded. Blastocyst yield was recorded on Days 6-, 7-, and 8-post insemination. In experiment 2, culture droplets were examined at 30, 36, and 48 hr after insemination. At each time point, the number of cleaved embryos was recorded and these embryos were transferred into new droplets and were cultured separately for the duration of the experiment. The proportion of embryos developing to the blastocyst stage was recorded for each of the groups for each bull. The best predictor of field fertility was a model containing 33-hpi-cleavage percentage only (r = 0.689, P < 0.0001). There was also a significant correlation between blastocyst yield and non-return rate, with Day 7 blastocyst yield having the highest correlation (r = 0.356), although this was relatively low in comparison. In experiment 2, irrespective of sire, a significantly higher proportion of those early-cleaving oocytes (before 30 hpi) developed to blastocysts than those cleaving later. In most cases, a higher proportion of blastocysts derived from early-cleaving oocytes hatched from the zona pellucida suggesting that such blastocysts are of superior quality to those derived from late-cleaving oocytes. In conclusion these data confirm our earlier observations that earliest cleaving zygotes are more competent in terms of development to the blastocyst stage than those that cleave later. This phenomenon is independent of the sire used. However, we have demonstrated that the kinetics of early embryonic development as measured by the timing of the first cleavage division post insemination vary between different bulls and that these differences can be used to discriminate between bulls of high and low bull field fertility.  相似文献

The effect of chronic hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia induced by streptozotocin (SZ) on the expression of P450 in the liver of APA hamsters was studied in this experiment. No effect on the total activity of P450 was seen in SZ-induced diabetic hamsters throughout the experimental period. At 1 and 6 months after SZ-injection, the levels of CYP1A, 2C6, and 3A of SZ-injected hamsters were much lower than those of age-matched control hamsters. CYP2B expression tended to decrease and CYP2E1 and 4A expression tended to increase in SZ-injected hamsters, although the results were not significant. At 3 months after SZ-injection, however, no significant difference between SZ-injected and normal hamsters was seen in these P450 isozymes. On the other hand, CYP2C11 expression was slightly depressed in SZ1M and SZ6M, and almost equivalent to control hamsters in SZ3M. Immunohistochemistry by the use of each isozyme antibody revealed that SZ-induced diabetes affected the localization of CYP2C6, 3A, and 4A in the hepatic acinus. The expression of CYP2C6 and 3A was depressed mainly in the periportal region of the acinus, and CYP4A expression was induced mainly in the perivenous region by SZ-induced diabetes. On the other hand, the expression pattern of CYP1A, 2B, 2C11, and 2E1 were not affected. These results demonstrate that the effects of SZ-induced diabetes on hepatic P450 differ for each isozyme in APA hamsters and also differ from those of other experimental diabetic animals, including golden hamsters.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to determine if the nuclear DNA content could predict disease progression in patients with stage A or B prostatic cancer. The nuclear DNA content was determined by image analysis using Feulgen-stained nuclei in tissue sections of prostatic needle biopsies from 44 patients. The patients were followed for a mean of 69.5 months, during which 12 (17%) progressed to stage D2 disease (bone or soft tissue metastases). The average times to progression to stage D2 disease were 68 months for patients who initially had stage A2 disease, 47 months for stage B1 patients and 29 months for stage B2 patients. The DNA pattern was judged diploid or normal-range (Auer type I or II histogram) in 35 tumors (80%) and aneuploid (Auer type III or IV histogram) in 9 tumors (20%). Eight (89%) of 9 tumors with an aneuploid DNA pattern and 4 (11%) of 35 tumors with a normal-range or diploid DNA pattern progressed to stage D2 disease.  相似文献

A field study was carried out to quantify plant growth and the foliar chemistry of transgenic Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) cotton (cv. GK-12) exposed to ambient CO2 and elevated (double-ambient) CO2 for different lengths of time (1, 2 and 3 months) in 2004 and 2005. The results indicated that CO2 levels significantly affected plant height, leaf area per plant and leaf chemistry of transgenic Bt cotton. Significantly, higher plant height and leaf area per plant were observed after cotton plants that were grown in elevated CO2 were compared with plants grown in ambient CO2 for 1, 2 and 3 months in the investigation. Simultaneously, significant interaction between CO2 level x investigating year was observed in leaf area per plant. Moreover, foliar total amino acids were increased by 14%, 13%, 11% and 12%, 14%, 10% in transgenic Bt cotton after exposed to elevated CO2 for 1, 2 or 3 months compared with ambient CO2 in 2004 and 2005, respectively. Condensed tannin occurrence increased by 17%, 11%, 9% in 2004 and 12%, 11%, 9% in 2005 in transgenic Bt cotton after being exposed to elevated CO2 for 1, 2 or 3 months compared with ambient CO2 for the same time. However, Bt toxin decreased by 3.0%, 2.9%, 3.1% and 2.4%, 2.5%, 2.9% in transgenic Bt cotton after exposed to elevated CO2 for 1, 2 or 3months compared with ambient CO2 for same time in 2004 and 2005, respectively. Furthermore, there was prominent interaction on the foliar total amino acids between the CO2 level and the time of cotton plant being exposed to elevated CO2. It is presumed that elevated CO2 can alter the plant growth and hence ultimately the phenotype allocation to foliar chemistical components of transgenic Bt cotton, which may in turn, affect the plant-herbivore interactions.  相似文献
