Inhibitory GABAB receptors (GABABRs) can down-regulate most excitatory synapses in the CNS by reducing postsynaptic excitability. Functional GABABRs are heterodimers of GABAB1 and GABAB2 subunits and here we show that the trafficking and surface expression of GABABRs is differentially regulated by synaptic or pathophysiological activation of NMDA receptors (NMDARs). Activation of synaptic NMDARs using a chemLTP protocol increases GABABR recycling and surface expression. In contrast, excitotoxic global activation of synaptic and extrasynaptic NMDARs by bath application of NMDA causes the loss of surface GABABRs. Intriguingly, exposing neurons to extreme metabolic stress using oxygen/glucose deprivation (OGD) increases GABAB1 but decreases GABAB2 surface expression. The increase in surface GABAB1 involves enhanced recycling and is blocked by the NMDAR antagonist AP5. The decrease in surface GABAB2 is also blocked by AP5 and by inhibiting degradation pathways. These results indicate that NMDAR activity is critical in GABABR trafficking and function and that the individual subunits can be separately controlled to regulate neuronal responsiveness and survival.  相似文献

Inhibitory interactions play a crucial role in the synchronization of neuronal activity. Here we investigate the effect of GABAergic PSPs on spike timing in cortical neurons that exhibit an oscillatory modulation of their membrane potential. To this end we combined numerical simulations with in-vitro patch-clamp recordings from layer II/III pyramidal cells of the rat visual cortex. Special emphasis was placed on exploring how the reversal potential of the GABAergic synaptic currents (EGABA) and the phase relations of the PSPs relative to the oscillation cycles affect the timing of spikes riding on the depolarizing peaks of the oscillations. The simulations predicted: (1) With EGABA more negative than the oscillation minima PSPs are hyperpolarizing at all phases and thus delay or prevent spikes. (2) With EGABA being more positive than the oscillation maxima PSPs are depolarizing in a phase-independent way and lead to a phase advance of spikes. (3) In the intermediate case where EGABA lies within oscillation maxima and minima PSPs are either hyper- or depolarizing depending on their phase relations to the Vm oscillations and can therefore either delay or advance spikes. Experiments conducted in this most interesting last configuration with biphasic PSPs agreed with the model predictions. Additional theoretical investigations revealed the effect of these PSP induced shifts in spike timing on synchronization in neuronal circuits. The results suggest that GABAergic mechanisms can assume highly specific timing functions in oscillatory networks.Action Editor: Alain Destexhe  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to examine whether benzyl alcohol affects N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor in cortical cells. Benzyl alcohol (0.5–2 mM) inhibited NMDA-induced cytotoxicity. The protective effect of benzyl alcohol on NMDA-induced toxicity disappeared by washing cells with buffer to remove benzyl alcohol. Benzyl alcohol reduced NMDA receptor-mediated calcium accumulation, indicating that benzyl alcohol inhibits NMDA receptor activity.  相似文献

Incubation of T. cruzi epimastigotes with the lectin Cramoll 1,4 in Ca2+ containing medium led to agglutination and inhibition of cell proliferation. The lectin (50 μg/ml) induced plasma membrane permeabilization followed by Ca2+ influx and mitochondrial Ca2+ accumulation, a result that resembles the classical effect of digitonin. Cramoll 1,4 stimulated (five-fold) mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, significantly decreased the electrical mitochondrial membrane potential (ΔΨm) and impaired ADP phosphorylation. The rate of uncoupled respiration in epimastigotes was not affected by Cramoll 1,4 plus Ca2+ treatment, but oligomycin-induced resting respiration was 65% higher in treated cells than in controls. Experiments using T. cruzi mitochondrial fractions showed that, in contrast to digitonin, the lectin significantly decreased ΔΨm by a mechanism sensitive to EGTA. In agreement with the results showing plasma membrane permeabilization and impairment of oxidative phosphorylation by the lectin, fluorescence microscopy experiments using propidium iodide revealed that Cramoll 1,4 induced epimastigotes death by necrosis.  相似文献

Background

We have shown the involvement of mitochondrial uncoupling protein-2 (UCP2) in the cytotoxicity by N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) through a mechanism relevant to the increased mitochondrial Ca2+ levels in HEK293 cells with acquired NMDAR channels. Here, we evaluated pharmacological profiles of ethanol on the NMDA-induced increase in mitochondrial Ca2+ levels in cultured murine neocortical neurons.

Methodology/Principal Findings

In neurons exposed to glutamate or NMDA, a significant increase was seen in mitochondrial Ca2+ levels determined by Rhod-2 at concentrations of 0.1 to 100 µM. Further addition of 250 mM ethanol significantly inhibited the increase by glutamate and NMDA in Rhod-2 fluorescence, while similarly potent inhibition of the NMDA-induced increase was seen after exposure to ethanol at 50 to 250 mM in cultured neurons. Lentiviral overexpression of UCP2 significantly accelerated the increase by NMDA in Rhod-2 fluorescence in neurons, without affecting Fluo-3 fluorescence for intracellular Ca2+ levels. In neurons overexpressing UCP2, exposure to ethanol resulted in significantly more effective inhibition of the NMDA-induced increase in mitochondrial free Ca2+ levels than in those without UCP2 overexpression, despite a similarly efficient increase in intracellular Ca2+ levels irrespective of UCP2 overexpression. Overexpression of UCP2 significantly increased the number of dead cells in a manner prevented by ethanol in neurons exposed to glutamate. In HEK293 cells with NMDAR containing GluN2B subunit, more efficient inhibition was similarly induced by ethanol at 50 and 250 mM on the NMDA-induced increase in mitochondrial Ca2+ levels than in those with GluN2A subunit. Decreased protein levels of GluN2B, but not GluN2A, subunit were seen in immunoprecipitates with UCP2 from neurons with brief exposure to ethanol at concentrations over 50 mM.

Conclusions/Significance

Ethanol could inhibit the interaction between UCP2 and NMDAR channels to prevent the mitochondrial Ca2+ incorporation and cell death after NMDAR activation in neurons.  相似文献

We have previously shown that mitochondrial membrane potential disruption is involved in mechanisms underlying differential vulnerabilities to the excitotoxicity mediated by N-methyl-d-aspartate (NMDA) receptors between primary cultured neurons prepared from rat cortex and hippocampus. To further elucidate the role of mitochondria in the excitotoxicity after activation of NMDA receptors, neurons were loaded with the fluorescent dye calcein diffusible in the cytoplasm and organelles for determination of the activity of mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP) responsible for the leakage of different mitochondrial molecules. The addition of CoCl2 similarly quenched the intracellular fluorescence except mitochondria in both cultured neurons, while further addition of NMDA led to a leakage of the dye into the cytoplasm in hippocampal neurons only. An mPTP inhibitor prevented the NMDA-induced loss of viability in hippocampal neurons, while an activator of mPTP induced a similarly potent loss of viability in cortical and hippocampal neurons. Although NMDA was more effective in increasing rhodamine-2 fluorescence as a mitochondrial calcium indicator in hippocampal than cortical neurons, a mitochondrial calcium uniporter inhibitor significantly prevented the NMDA-induced loss of viability in hippocampal neurons. Expression of mRNA was significantly higher for the putative uniporter uncoupling protein-2 in hippocampal than cortical neurons. These results suggest that mitochondrial calcium uniporter would be at least in part responsible for the NMDA neurotoxicity through a mechanism relevant to promotion of mPTP orchestration in hippocampal neurons.  相似文献

Gabapentin, a novel anticonvulsant and analgesic, is a -aminobutyric acid (GABA) analogue but was shown initially to have little affinity at GABAA or GABAB receptors. It was recently reported to be a selective agonist at GABAB receptors containing GABAB1a-GABAB2 heterodimers, although several subsequent studies disproved that conclusion. In the present study, we examined whether gabapentin is an agonist at native GABAB receptors using a rat model of postoperative pain in vivo and periaqueductal gray (PAG) slices in vitro; PAG contains GABAB receptors, and their activation results in antinociception. An intrathecal injection of gabapentin or baclofen, a GABAB receptor agonist, induced antiallodynia in this postoperative pain model. Intrathecal injection of GABAB receptor antagonists CGP 35348 and CGP 55845 antagonized baclofen- but not gabapentin-induced antiallodynia. In ventrolateral PAG neurons, baclofen activated G-protein-coupled inwardly rectifying K+ (GIRK) channels in a manner blocked by CGP 35348 or CGP 55845. However, gabapentin displayed no effect on the membrane current. In neurons unaffected by gabapentin, baclofen activated GIRK channels through GABAB receptors. It is concluded that gabapentin is not an agonist at GABAB receptors that are functional in baclofeninduced antiallodynia in the postoperative pain model in vivo and in GIRK channel activation in ventrolateral PAG neurons in vitro.  相似文献

The effect of salt concentration (NaCl) on growth, fluorescence, photosynthetic activities and pigment content of the cyanobacterium Arthrospira platensis has been investigated over 15 days. It has been observed that high NaCl concentration induces an increase of the growth, photosynthetic efficiency (α), phycobilin/chlorophyll ratio and a slight decrease of dark respiration and compensation points. Moreover, high NaCl concentration enhances photosystem II (PSII) activity compared to photosystem I (PSI). Results show that the phycobilin-PSII energy transfer compared to the chlorophyll-PSII (F695,600/F695,440) increases. However, data obtained about the maximal efficiency of PSII photochemistry are controversial. Indeed, the Fv/Fm ratio decreases in salt adapted cultures, while at the same time the trapping flux per PSII reaction center (TR0/RC) and the probability of electron transport beyond QA (0) remain unchanged at the level of the donor and the acceptor sites of PSII. This effect can be attributed to the interference of phycobilin fluorescence with Chl a when performing polyphasic transient measurements.  相似文献

Within plant systems, two main forms of programmed cell death (PCD) exist: developmentally regulated and environmentally induced. The lace plant (Aponogeton madagascariensis) naturally undergoes developmentally regulated PCD to form perforations between longitudinal and transverse veins over its leaf surface. Developmental PCD in the lace plant has been well characterized; however, environmental PCD has never before been studied in this plant species. The results presented here portray heat shock (HS) treatment at 55°C for 20 min as a promising inducer of environmental PCD within lace plant protoplasts originally isolated from non-PCD areas of the plant. HS treatment produces cells displaying many characteristics of developmental PCD, including blebbing of the plasma membrane, increased number of hydrolytic vesicles and transvacuolar strands, nuclear condensation, terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling positive nuclei, as well as increased Brownian motion within the vacuole. Results presented here for the first time provide evidence of chloroplasts in the vacuole of living protoplasts undergoing environmentally induced PCD. Findings suggest that the mitochondria play a critical role in the cell death process. Changes in mitochondrial dynamics were visualized in HS-treated cells, including loss of mitochondrial mobility, reduction in ΔΨm, as well as the proximal association with chloroplasts. The role of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore (PTP) was examined by pre-treatment with the PTP agonist cyclosporine A. Overall, HS is depicted as a reliable method to induce PCD within lace plant protoplasts, and proves to be a reliable technique to enable comparisons between environmentally induced and developmentally regulated PCD within one species of plant.  相似文献

Huntington’s disease (HD) is an autosomal neurodegenerative disease. Its manifestations is selective degeneration of medium-sized spiny neurons (MSN) in the striatum. The specificity of the vulnerability of these GABAergic MSNs can be explained by abnormal protein accumulation, excitotoxicity, mitochondrial dysfunction, and failure of trophic control, among other dysfunctions. In this study, we used in vitro and in vivo models of HD to study the effects of GABAergic neuron stimulation on the cellular protein degradation machinery. We administered the GABAB receptor agonist, baclofen, to wild-type or mutant huntingtin-expressing striatal cells (HD19 or HD43). Chymotrypsin-like proteasome activity and cell viability were significantly increased in the mutant huntingtin-expressing striatal cells (HD43) after GABAB receptor agonist treatment. In addition, we systemically administered baclofen to a HD model containing the entire human huntingtin gene with 128 CAG repeats (YAC128). Chymotrypsin-like proteasome activity was significantly increased in YAC128 transgenic mice after baclofen administration. Baclofen-injected mutant YAC128 mice also showed significantly reduced numbers of ubiquitin-positive neuronal intranuclear inclusions (NIIs) in the striatum. Baclofen markedly improved behavioral abnormalities in mutant YAC128 mice as determined by the rotarod performance test. These data indicate that stimulation of GABAergic neurons with the GABAB receptor agonist, baclofen, enhances ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) function and cell survival in in vitro and in vivo models of HD.  相似文献

Downregulation of GABAergic synaptic transmission contributes to the increase in overall excitatory activity in the ischemic brain. A reduction of GABAA receptor (GABAAR) surface expression partly accounts for this decrease in inhibitory activity, but the mechanisms involved are not fully elucidated. In this work, we investigated the alterations in GABAAR trafficking in cultured rat hippocampal neurons subjected to oxygen/glucose deprivation (OGD), an in vitro model of global brain ischemia, and their impact in neuronal death. The traffic of GABAAR was evaluated after transfection of hippocampal neurons with myc-tagged GABAAR β3 subunits. OGD decreased the rate of GABAAR β3 subunit recycling and reduced the interaction of the receptors with HAP1, a protein involved in the recycling of the receptors. Furthermore, OGD induced a calpain-mediated cleavage of HAP1. Transfection of hippocampal neurons with HAP1A or HAP1B isoforms reduced the OGD-induced decrease in surface expression of GABAAR β3 subunits, and HAP1A maintained the rate of receptor recycling. Furthermore, transfection of hippocampal neurons with HAP1 significantly decreased OGD-induced cell death. These results show a key role for HAP1 protein in the downmodulation of GABAergic neurotransmission during cerebral ischemia, which contributes to neuronal demise.  相似文献

An electrophysiological and morphometric study of effects of cholinergic substances on orthodromic potential (OP), induction of long-term post-tetanic potentiation (PTP), and potentiated OP in olfactory bulb (OB) of intact pike was carried out. The final effect of endogenous ACh on relay neurons of the OB was found to be inhibitory. Activation of M1-like cholinoreceptors (ChR) was shown to play the key role in induction of long-term PTP. In response to tetanization of olfactory nerve (ON) after pirenzepine-induced inhibition of M1-like ChR, no potentiation appears and the length of cross-section of axo-dendritic synapse active zone (AZ) does not change in the OB glomerular neuropil. Tetanization of ON after inhibition of M2-like ChR by gallamine leads to the appearance of short-term PTP transformed later into long-term PTP accompanied by a significant decrease of length of cross-sections of axo-dendritic synapse AZ. Effects of both increase of endogenous ACh concentration by eserine (0.1 μM) and blockade of M2-like ChR by gallamine (10 μM) on potentiated OP were manifested as a decrease of its amplitude to control level. The obtained data allow considering that endogenous ACh in the pike OB has a pronounced effect on induction, development, and stabilization of the long-term PTP. This holds equally true to both functional and morphological manifestations of plasticity of axo-dendritic synapses of the glomerular neuropil.  相似文献

We have previously shown the possible involvement of mitochondrial membrane potential disruption in the mechanisms underlying the neurotoxicity seen after activation of N-methyl-d-aspartate (NMDA) receptors (NMDAR) in primary cultured rat hippocampal neurons. In this study, we attempted to demonstrate a pivotal role of mitochondrial uncoupling protein-2 (UCP2) as a determinant of the NMDA neurotoxicity by using acquired NMDAR channels artificially orchestrated in HEK293 cells. In cells with overexpression of UCP2, immunoreactive UCP2 was exclusively detected at intracellular locations stained with the mitochondrial marker MitoTracker. In cells with acquired NMDAR channels, exposure to either NMDA or the calcium ionophore A23187 similarly led to a significant increase in cytosolic Ca(2+) levels determined by Fluo-3 imaging irrespective of the overexpression of UCP2. By contrast, NMDA, but not A23187, was significantly more effective in increasing mitochondrial Ca(2+) levels determined by Rhod-2 fluorescence imaging in cells transfected with NMDAR subunit and UCP2 expression vectors than in those without UCP2 overexpression. Overexpression of UCP2 significantly increased the number of cells stained with propidium iodide in cultures with acquired NMDAR channels, but failed to significantly affect that in cells exposed to A23187. Immunocytochemical and immunoprecipitation analyses similarly revealed the possible interaction between GluN1 subunit and UCP2 in HEK293 cells with acquired NMDAR channels and UCP2 overexpression. These results suggest that UCP2 could play a role as a determinant of the neurotoxicity mediated by NMDAR through a mechanism related to the unidentified interaction with the essential GluN1 subunit toward modulation of mitochondrial Ca(2+) levels in neurons.  相似文献

A comparative analysis of awakening, somnogenic, and thermoregulating effects of agonists and antagonists of GABAA,B-receptors after microinjections to neuronal populations of ventrolateral preoptic area (VLPA) of hypothalamus was carried out for the first time in representatives of the avian class (pigeon). It has bee established that: (1) VLPA of hypothalamus contains populations of neurons differing by their function and representation of receptor types and participating in control of wakefulness, sleep, and thermoregulation; (2) executive GABAA-ergic mechanisms of maintenance of the slow-wave sleep (SWS) are located predominantly in the caudal part of the hypothalamic VLPA; (3) GABAA,B-ergic mechanisms of control of thermal homeostasis are located predominantly in the caudal part of VLPA. It is suggested that the maintenance of SWS depends on an increase of activity of inhibitory GABAergic VLPA mechanisms leading to inactivation of neuronal networks of wakefulness outside VLPA and on a reduction of activity of the stimulatory aminergic systems present in the preoptic area and outside it.  相似文献

Summary Effects of hyperthermia-induced seizures (HS) on GABAA and benzodiazepine (BDZ) receptor binding in immature rat brain were evaluated using in vitro autoradiography. HS were induced in 10-day-old rats by a regulated stream of moderately heated air directed 50 cm above the animals. Rats were killed 30 min, 24 h, or 20 days after HS and their brains were used for in vitro autoradiography experiments to determine GABAA and BDZ receptor binding. GABAA binding was significantly enhanced in all brain areas evaluated 30 min after HS, an effect that endures 24 h and 20 days after seizures. Concerning BDZ receptor binding, a significant increase was detected in entorhinal and perirhinal cortices and decreased in basolateral amygdala 30 min following HS. One day after HS, animals demonstrated enhanced BDZ binding in the cingulate, frontal, posterior parietal, entorhinal, temporal, and perirhinal cortices; striatum, accumbens, substantia nigra pars compacta, and amygdala nuclei. Twenty days after HS enhanced BDZ binding was restricted in the cingulated, frontal, anterior and posterior parietal cortices, as well as in substantia nigra pars reticulata, whereas decreased values were found in accumbens nucleus and substantia nigra pars compacta. Our data indicate differential effects of HS in GABAA and BDZ binding in immature brain. HS-induced GABAA and BDZ changes are different from those previously described in experimental models of temporal lobe epilepsy in adult animals.  相似文献

GABAB receptors play a critical neuromodulatory role in the central nervous system. It has been suggested that both the functional role and the cellular distribution of GABAB receptors in the neuronal network change during post-natal maturation. In the present study, the cellular and subcellular distribution patterns of the GABAB R1a/b receptors have been analysed in different brain regions of the mouse using immunocytochemistry with isoform-specific antisera. GABAB R1-immunoreactivity (IR) was present from the first post-natal day (P0) on in most regions of the brain. Neurones exhibited diffuse GABAB R1-IR labelling throughout somata and larger proximal dendrites as well as some fine neuronal processes. After P5, distinct punctuated staining was apparent. The number of such GABAB IR granules per cell increased with age in a sigmoidal manner from P5 to P60. Electron microscopy revealed GABAB IR as clusters of small clear vesicles of 30–50 nm diameter within the cytoplasm and close to the cell membrane at extrasynaptic locations, as well as at pre-synaptic and post-synaptic specialisations. The increase in GABAB R1-IR punctuate staining during brain maturation points to increasing functional participation and heterogeneity of GABAB receptors as the complexity of the central nervous system expands with growth and development. The first three authors contributed equally to the study. γ-Aminobutyric acid (GABA) is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian central nervous system and exerts its actions via ionotropic (GABAA and GABAC) and metabotropic (GABAB) receptors. The GABAB receptor is a dimer composed of R1 and R2 components. In addition to their location on neurons, GABA and functional GABAB receptors also have been detected in some peripheral tissues. In the present study, we combined immunohistochemistry, immunoblot and tension recording to determine if the human fallopian tube express glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD65/67), two isoforms for synthesis of GABA and functional GABAB receptors. Immunoblots showed that the human fallopian tube tissue contained GABABR1 protein which was localized in the epithelial cells and smooth muscle cells by immunohistochemistry. In addition, epithelial cells also expressed GAD65/67. Tension recording found that both GABA and baclofen, a GABAB receptor agonist increased the spontaneous activity of human fallopian tube. The expressions of GABABR and GAD65/67 were significantly upregulated in the ectopic pregnancy group than in the intrauterine pregnancy group. We conclude that the human fallopian tube is capable of synthesizing GABA and expresses functionally active GABAB receptors. An upregulation of GABA synthesis and corresponding GABAB receptors may involve in ectopic pregnancy.  相似文献

There is accumulating evidence that excitotoxicity and oxidative stress resulting from excessive activation of glutamate (N-methyl-d-aspartate) NMDA receptors are major participants in striatal degeneration associated with 3-nitropropionic acid (3NP) administration. Although excitotoxic and oxidative mechanisms are implicated in 3NP toxicity, there are conflicting reports as to whether NMDA receptor antagonists attenuate or exacerbate the 3NP-induced neurodegeneration. In the present study, we investigated the involvement of NMDA receptors in striatal degeneration, protein oxidation and motor impairment following systemic 3NP administration. We examined whether NMDA receptor antagonists, memantine and ifenprodil, influence the neurotoxicity of 3NP. The development of striatal lesion and protein oxidation following 3NP administration is delayed by memantine but not affected by ifenprodil. However, in behavioral experiments, memantine failed to improve and ifenprodil exacerbated the motor deficits associated with 3NP toxicity. Together, these findings suggest caution in the application of NMDA receptor antagonists as a neuroprotective agent in neurodegenerative disorders associated with metabolic impairment.  相似文献

The potassium A-current (IKA) is important in regulating the membrane potential between action potentials. The whole-cell patch-clamp technique was applied to cultured Drosophila neurons derived from embryonic neuroblasts. IKA was measured from neurons before and after application of 0.1 mM lanthanum to the external saline. IKA was smaller in the lanthanum-containing saline (7±1 pA) than in the control saline (34±6 pA). Activation and inactivation of IKA were unchanged by lanthanum. These results suggest that lanthanum neurotoxicity may lead to increased neuronal excitability. Moreover, given this inhibition of IKA, lanthanum should not be used to block calcium current in studies of K+ currents.  相似文献

Immune-complexes play an important role in the inflammatory diseases of the lung. Neutrophil activation mediates immune-complex (IC) deposition-induced acute lung injury (ALI). Components of gamma amino butyric acid (GABA) signaling, including GABA B receptor 2 (GABABR2), GAD65/67 and the GABA transporter, are present in the lungs and in the neutrophils. However, the role of pulmonary GABABR activation in the context of neutrophil-mediated ALI has not been determined. Thus, the objective of the current study was to determine whether administration of a GABABR agonist, baclofen would ameliorate or exacerbate ALI. We hypothesized that baclofen would regulate IC-induced ALI by preserving pulmonary GABABR expression. Rats were subjected to sham injury or IC-induced ALI and two hours later rats were treated intratracheally with saline or 1 mg/kg baclofen for 2 additional hours and sacrificed. ALI was assessed by vascular leakage, histology, TUNEL, and lung caspase-3 cleavage. ALI increased total protein, tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α and interleukin-1 receptor associated protein (IL-1R AcP), in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF). Moreover, ALI decreased lung GABABR2 expression, increased phospho-p38 MAPK, promoted IκB degradation and increased neutrophil influx in the lung. Administration of baclofen, after initiation of ALI, restored GABABR expression, which was inhibited in the presence of a GABABR antagonist, CGP52432. Baclofen administration activated pulmonary phospho-ERK and inhibited p38 MAPK phosphorylation and IκB degradation. Additionally, baclofen significantly inhibited pro-inflammatory TNF-α and IL-1βAcP release and promoted BAL neutrophil apoptosis. Protective effects of baclofen treatment on ALI were possibly mediated by inhibition of TNF-α- and IL-1β-mediated inflammatory signaling. Interestingly, GABABR2 expression was regulated in the type II pneumocytes in lung tissue sections from lung injured patients, further suggesting a physiological role for GABABR2 in the repair process of lung damage. GABABR2 agonists may play a potential therapeutic role in ALI.  相似文献
