The genus Diolcogaster Ashmead, 1900 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Microgastrinae) from China is revised and keyed, with nine new species, namely Diolcogaster bifurcifossasp. n., Diolcogaster brevivenasp. n., Diolcogaster grammatasp. n., Diolcogaster ineminenssp. n., Diolcogaster laetimediasp. n., Diolcogaster pluriminitidasp. n., Diolcogaster praritassp. n., Diolcogaster punctatiscutumsp. n. and Diolcogaster translucidasp. n. described and illustrated, and one species, Diolcogaster perniciosa (Wilkinson, 1929) recorded for the first time from China. Abstract. The endemic Australasian microgastrine genus Miropotes Nixon, previously known from two species, M. creon Nixon from Tasmania and M. petiolaris (Szépligeti) from N.S.W., is revised. A further eight species are described as new (M. burringbaris, M. boothis, M. chookolis, M. goobitis, M. kilkulunis, M. cadgeis, M. katois and M. thuraris) , two of which represent the first record of the genus outside continental Australia (viz New Guinea, New Hebrides and New Caledonia). A key to species is presented along with information on the first host record for the genus. Relationships between Miropotes and other microgastrine genera are discussed, particularly in reference to the structure of the ovipositor and hypopygium, which have bearing on the current tribal classification of the subfamily.  相似文献

ABSTRACT. The alysiine braconid genus Aspilota Foerster is redefined to include Dinotrema Foerster. Characters previously used to delimit both Dinotrema and species groups within Aspilota s.l. are discussed, with emphasis on difficulties in interpreting transformation series. Dinotrema amplisignata (Fischer), Dinotrema phoridarum (Goidanich) and Dinotrema nigricornis (Thomson) are returned to Aspilota.  相似文献

Abstract. The braconid wasp genus Cotesia Cameron (Braconidae: Microgastrinae) is one of the largest genera of parasitoid wasps, and its species are employed frequently as biological control agents against pest insects. Several Cotesia species are also used as model organisms in physiology, ecology and population genetics studies. The genus thus has considerable importance from both applied and basic science perspectives. We investigated the phylogenetic relationships of twenty‐five species of Cotesia commonly used in field and laboratory research, using the genes 16S, ND1, 28S and LW opsin and employing a range of phylogeny estimation methods including maximum parsimony, maximum likelihood, minimum evolution and Bayesian inference. Phylogenetic estimates differed little among methods, especially for the combined data analysis. The combined analysis of four genes identified four well‐supported clades within Cotesia: the melanoscela group (containing C. melanoscela, the C. flavipes species complex and probably also C. ruficrus), the kariyai group (containing C. kariyai, C. kazak, C. cyaniridis, C. flaviconchae and probably also C. anisotae and C. griffini), the rubecula group (containing C. congregata, C.electrae, C.euchaetis, C. marginiventris, C. obsuricornis and C. schizurae), and the glomerata group (consisting of C. glomerata, C. melitaearum and C. plutellae), plus a basal unresolved complex including C. hyphantriae, C. diacrisiae and C. empretiae. These groups correspond poorly with previous broad subgroups of Cotesia defined by Papp based on morphology. The current work constitutes the first real framework for comparative studies in systematics, ecology, physiology and population genetics of Cotesia. A preliminary analysis of the evolution of gregarious development from solitary is presented, in which it is apparent that solitary development is ancestral, and gregariousness has arisen several times independently within separate groups.  相似文献

Wilkinsonellus Mason is a relatively small Pantropical genus of braconid parasitoid wasps within the subfamily Microgastrinae. Most of the currently described species are from the Palaeotropics; however, previous records were absent from Fiji. Here, the first three Wilkinsonellus species from Fiji are described: Wilkinsonellus corpustriacolor sp. n., Wilkinsonellus fijienis sp. n. and Wilkinsonellus nescalpura sp. n. The material was collected by Malaise traps set up in a quite variety of ecosystems (wet zone, dry zone and coastal forests) throughout the archipelago. With these records, Fiji represents the easternmost known distribution of the genus in the Indo-Pacific Region. A key to all of the currently known Wilkinsonellus species is included to facilitate species identification.  相似文献

This study reports the Microgastrinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) species collected from two blocks of apple trees from 1993 to 1994 in southern Quebec, Canada. The habitat management block (HMB) had companion flowering plants within the block, whereas the control had no flowering plants. Thirty-six Microgastrinae species were identified including three new records for Canada: Apanteles tischeriae Viereck, Cotesia crambi Weed, Diolcogaster bakeri Muesebeck. The number of microgastrine varied considerably between the two blocks and years. Species numbers were similar between the two blocks, but the Shannon diversity and Evenness similarity indices indicated that HMB had a more diverse and balanced population of Microgastrinae. Matching our microgastrine identifications with literature records showed that the wasps could potentially parasitize over one-third of the lepidopteran pests of apples and/or other lepidopteran species recorded within this agro-ecosystem. The inclusion of four Asteraceae companion plant species in the HMB enhanced the diversity of Microgastrinae.  相似文献

对螟黄足盘绒茧蜂复合群Cotesia flavipes complex (膜翅目:茧蜂科:小腹茧蜂亚科)分布全世界的5个种和外群侧沟茧蜂Microplitis 及荻茧蜂Diolcogaster 的25个性状,以及复合群5个种和外群螟蛉盘绒茧蜂Cotesia ruficrus、粘虫盘绒茧蜂Cotesia kariyai、粉蝶盘绒茧蜂Cotesia glomerata 的24个性状,分别进行比较研究,并运用支序分析的方法探讨该复合群内5个种种间的系统发育关系。支序分析表明螟黄足盘绒茧蜂复合群是一单系群,二化螟盘绒茧蜂C. chilonis 和大螟盘绒茧蜂C. sesamiae 近缘,芦螟盘绒茧蜂C. chiloluteelli 和汉寿盘绒茧蜂C. hanshouensis 近缘,螟黄足盘绒茧蜂C. flavipes相对独立。 以上研究表明无论是以近缘属作外群还是以同属其它种作外群,所得结果基本上都能反映螟黄足盘绒茧蜂复合群各种之间的分类地位。  相似文献

The genus Physaraia Shenefelt (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) is revised to include twenty-two species: twenty entirely Afrotropical; one Afrotropical and Palaearctic, and one Indo-Australian. Eleven species, achterbergi, aporia, empeyi, fanitalis, laticlavia, lundi, nana, nigricephala, sarisa, simplex and solanicola are described as new, and eight established species, bilobata (Cameron), capensis (Enderlein), caudata (Szépligeti), excisa (Szépligeti), furcata (Guérin-Méneville), melanocera (Cameron), sulphurea (Szépligeti) and sumatrana (Enderlein) are redescribed. P. longiseta (Szépligeti) is synonymized with P. furcata and P. caudata var. bimaculata (Fahringer) and P. trimaculata (Cameron) are synonymized with P. bilobata, P. furcata var. fasciativentris (Enderlein) is considered to be synonymous with the type species.  相似文献

Abstract. The Australasian ant genus Turneria is revised. T.bidentata Forel, T.dahlii Forel and T.pacifica Mann are redescribed and a lectotype designated for T.bidentata. T.frenchi Forel is transferred to Stigmacros (comb.n.), and T.butteli Forel is transferred to Iridomyrmex (comb.n.). Three new species, T.arbusta, T.collina and T.postomma, are described from Papua New Guinea. Males of the genus are described for the first time. A key to the workers of recognized species and a distribution map are provided. The group is analysed cladistically and the resulting species relationships are discussed, along with a comment on the use of polymorphic characters.  相似文献

小腹茧蜂亚科的雄外生殖器及族级单元系统发育的研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
对分布在东洋区和古北区的小腹茧蜂亚科 (膜翅目: 茧蜂科)21个属的67个种及外群折脉茧蜂属 (膜翅目: 茧蜂科) 2个种的雄外生殖器的5个性状进行了比较研究。在形态学研究的基础上,通过选用头部、胸部和腹部(包括雌雄外生殖器的性状) 等34个性状,运用支序分析的方法探讨了分布在东洋区和古北区的小腹茧蜂亚科21个属以及它们所属的族间的系统发育关系,并对Mason (1981) 的分类系统进行了重新评价。雄外生殖器和支序分析基本上证实并恢复了由Mason (1981) 确定的2个主要分支,即绒茧蜂族Apantelini+小腹茧蜂族Microgastrini和拱茧蜂族Fornicini+盘绒茧蜂族Cotesiini+侧沟茧蜂族MicroplitinI。绒茧蜂族Apantelini、拱茧蜂族Fornicini和侧沟茧蜂族Microplitini为单系群也被支持,但小腹茧蜂族Microgastrini和盘绒茧蜂族Cotesiini是否为单系群尚难于在树形图中体现,而且族内各属间的分支关系有变动。因此,尽管Mason的族级分类单元有一些欠缺,但仍是可信、实用的,不同意Walker等 (1990) 认为不应再使用Mason分族系统的观点。  相似文献
