A mixture of lambda-cyhalothrin (lambda-cyhalothrin: chemical insecticide) and Metarhizium anisopliae ( flavoviride ) var. acridum Driver and Milner, an entomopathogenic fungus (bioinsecticide) was used for grasshopper control in Mali. An oil-based formulation of Metarhizium anisopliae ( flavoviride ) var. acridum Driver and Milner has been developed by LUBILOSA a collaborative project for locust and grasshoppers control. It takes 6 to 10 days for the biopesticide to kill the hosts, which is not a problem for larvae in fallows because they will die before reaching the farmers' fields. However, if crops are infested by adults, the farmers can not wait for 6 to 10 days. An experiment was conducted in Mali using a mixture of a biopesticide and chemical pesticide. The mixture of lambda-cyhalothrin (chemical insecticide) and Metarhizium anisopliae ( flavoviride ) var. acridum (biopesticide: oil-based entomopathogenic fungus spore suspension) was applied to nymphs of Sahelian grasshoppers, using ultra low volume (ULV) sprayers. Both the mixture and lambda-cyhalothrin alone gave quick mortality, with slightly higher mortality for the mixture. Mortality due to the Metarhizium treatments began 2 days after application and subsequently reached similar levels of mortality to the lambda-cyhalothrin mixture treatments. The efficacy of the mixture was greater than Metarhizium alone. The efficacy of lambda-cyhalothrin reached 80% on the day following application, but declined after 10 days, due probably to immigration of untreated grasshoppers.  相似文献

Cyprinid Fish-remain (an articulated skeleton of Varhostichthys sp. and isolated pharyngeal teeth) have been found in the Upper part of the “argiles de Saint-Henri”, a Middle oligocene formation of Marseilles basin. The finding of these Fish-remains confirms that these deposits have been sedimented under fresh-water conditions.  相似文献

SYNOPSIS. The structure of the gregarine Callynthrochlamys phronimae has been studied with the electron microscope. The cuticular complex is not different from those previously described in other species of gregarines. It is composed of 2 layers of different thickness delimited by 3 unit membranes and constitutes series of oblique folds at the surface of the deutomerite. Longitudinal rods of dense material surrounded by a slight pellicle are seen under the cuticle. Pinocytic vacuoles are present under the surface of the gregarine. Cytoplasmic organelles include mitochondria, Golgi complexes, endoplasmic reticulum, vacuoles and dense bodies from different sizes. There is a connection between the different features of the cytoplasm in the protomerite and deutomerite and the corresponding cuticular organization.
A characteristic feature of the species is the peculiar differentiation of the nuclear membrane. The nucleus is surrounded by a typical double membrane of which the inner one has a dense fibrillar layer apposed to it. In mature trophozoites, tubular expansions without inner layer arise from the double membrane; the same type of nuclear membrane occurs in another species, Thalicola salpae.  相似文献

Family Ascocystitidae, defined and established by Georges Ubaghs in 1967, includes a single genus, Ascocystites. This genus was described and figured for the first time by Barrande in 1887, from Bohemian specimens. Thereafter, specimens brought close to Ascocystites or assigned to this genus were described starting from samples collected in Bohemia in the Armorican Massif or in Portugal. The new specimens were collected in Morocco in the Eastern Anti-Atlas, within the formation of Izzeguirene of Caradoc age. The studied material includes several sandy slabes often containing many well-preserved and almost complete individuals. These levels gather individuals of various sizes, corresponding to various stages of development. The morphological study in progress should allow a specific attribution by comparison with the Bohemian and Armorican forms actually known. The Moroccan material has, in addition, the advantage of corresponding to associations of several Echinodermata groups, rich in individuals, allowing a taphonomic and possibly paleoenvironmental study. Biostratigraphically, Ascocystitidae are actually known between Middle (Armorican Massif and Portugal) and Upper Ordovician (Bohemia and now Morocco). The discovery of Ascocystitidae in the Moroccan Anti-Atlas extends their distribution, within gondwanian domain, during Middle and Upper Ordovician.  相似文献

A study of the origin and development of the bony complex ("dentaire" s.l.) later forming the anterior part of the mandible of Salmo fario leads to the following conclusions: (1) various modes of ossifications occur in the ontogeny of this bony complex, (2) the main component is the dermal (dento-splénial) whereas the enchondral one (mentomeckelien) is much reduced, (3) the proposed term "dento-splénio-mentomeckelien" focuses attention, at the same time, on the order of appearance and relative importance of the two components.  相似文献

Screening in the Albian of Wissant area has allowed to collect an interesting selachian fauna including some new elements: Orectoloboides nov. gen., Scyliorhinus destombesi nov. sp. and Protosqualus sigei nov. gen., nov. sp.. The relationships of these forms are discussed.  相似文献
