华生关怀理论对老年痴呆症患者的临床干预效果

目的:探索华生关怀理论在老年痴呆症患者临床护理中的应用效果,为临床护理提供参考。方法:选择2012年3月至2014年3月我院收治的老年痴呆患者200例,随机分为治疗组和对照组。对照组采用常规护理措施,治疗组采用华生关怀理论进行干预。分别于干预前后采用简易智能量表(MMSE)、蒙特利尔认知评估量表(MOCA)、AD评定量表认知部分(ADAS-Cog)、日常生活活动量表(ADL)、中医症状积分量表对两组患者进行测评。结果:与干预前比较,两组患者干预后的MMSE和MOCA评分显著升高,ADAS-Cog、ADL和中医症状积分明显降低,差异具有统计学意义(P0.05);与对照组比较,治疗组患者变化更明显(P0.01)。两组患者干预前后的血尿常规、肝肾功能及心电图等指标无显著差异(P0.05)。结论:利用华生关怀理论护理老年痴呆症患者,不仅能改善患者的病情,缓解心理压力,而且有利于减轻家庭和社会负担。     

Dental Implications of Pharmacological Management of the Alzheimer's Patient

Medications used for the management of the Alzheimer's patient are of two types: agents prescribed for treatment of cognitive disorders and agents used for symptomatic relief of mood disorders. This article reviews the mechanisms of action and side-effects of the more common of these agents. In addition, dental management of the Alzheimer's patient is discussed in relation to specific medications being taken.     

Caring for mentally ill people.

Despite legislation to harmonise mental health practice throughout Europe and convergence in systems of training there remains an extraordinary diversity in psychiatric practice in Europe. Approaches to tackling substance misuse vary among nations; statistics on psychiatric morbidity are affected by different approaches to diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders; attitudes towards mental illness show definite international differences. Everywhere, though, mental health care for patients with psychotic illnesses is a "cinderella service," and there is a general move towards care falling increasingly on the family and the community.
