From the dried roots of Cephaelis acuminata, five tetrahydroisoquinoline-monoterpene glycosides, 2-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyldemethylalangiside, demethylisoalangiside, 6"-O-beta-D-glucopyranosylipecoside, 6"-O-alpha-D-glucopyranosylipecoside and (4R)-4-hydroxyipecoside, were isolated. The structures of these glycosides were determined by spectroscopic and chemical means.  相似文献

Six monoterpene glycosides were isolated from Fadogia agrestis. Their structures were elucidated using a combination of mass spectroscopy, 1D- and 2D-homo- and hetero-NMR spectroscopy and chemical analysis, and established as being derivatives of 2,6-dimethyl-2(E),6(Z)-octadiene-1,8-diol containing from two to four units of rhamnopyranose and, three of them, one or two additional units of glucopyranose. In three of the compounds an acyl group of 8-hydroxy-2,6-dimethyl-2(E),6(Z)-octadienoyl was found esterifying the O-2 position of one of the units of rhamnopyranose.  相似文献

One novel bis(monoterpenoid) indole alkaloid glucoside, hirsutaside D (1), along with three known compounds, bahienoside A (2), bahienoside B (3) and neonaucleoside B (4), were isolated from the leaves of U. hirsuta. The structure of compound 1 was elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic data analysis and chemical means. Characterization of compounds 24 was based on spectral analysis and comparison with the literature. Their cytotoxic effects on four human tumor cell lines were examined.  相似文献

The chemical composition of the Caribbean sponge Pandaros acanthifolium was investigated and led to the isolation of seven new steroidal glycosides namely pandarosides A-D (1, 3, 4 and 6) along with the three methyl esters of pandarosides A, C, and D (2, 5 and 7). Their structures were characterized as 3β-[β-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-glucopyranosyloxyuronic acid]-16-hydroxy-5α,14β-poriferast-16-ene-15,23-dione (1) and its methyl ester (2), 3β-[β-glucopyranosyloxyuronic acid]-16-hydroxy-5α,14β-poriferast-16-ene-15,23-dione (3), 3β-[β-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-glucopyranosyloxyuronic acid]-16-hydroxy-5α,14β-cholest-16-ene-15,23-dione (4) and its methyl ester (5), 3β-(β-glucopyranosyloxyuronic acid)-16-hydroxy-5α,14β-cholest-16-ene-15,23-dione (6) and its methyl ester (7) on the basis of detailed spectroscopic analyses, including 2D NMR and HRESIMS studies. Pandarosides A-D and their methyl esters (1-7) are all characterized by a rare 2-hydroxycyclopentenone D-ring with a 14β configuration. The absolute configuration of the aglycon part of pandaroside A (1) was assigned by comparison between experimental and TDDFT calculated circular dichroism spectra on the more stable conformer.  相似文献

From leaves of Psychotria leiocarpa, an indole alkaloid was isolated to which the structure N,beta-D-glucopyranosyl vincosamide (1) was assigned. This represents the first report of an N-glycosylated monoterpenoid indole alkaloid. In field-grown plants highest amounts of 1 were found in the leaves (2.5% of dry wt) and fruit pulp (1.5% dry wt). Lower amounts were found in the stems (0.2% dry wt) and the seeds (0.1% of dry wt), whereas the alkaloid was not detected in the roots. The accumulation of 1 in aseptic seedlings was also restricted to the shoots and increased with plant age and light exposure, independent of the supply of sucrose in the culture medium.  相似文献

Solanum aculeastrum Dunal was investigated for the presence of molluscicidal compounds. This led to the isolation of solaculine A, from the root bark in addition to known steroidal alkaloids; solamargine and beta-solamarine from the berries. The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic techniques. Molluscicidal activity of the aqueous extracts of the berries and root bark, and the isolated compounds were investigated.  相似文献

Two new indole alkaloids, bisnicalaterine D (1), consisting of an eburnane and a corynanthe type of skeletons, and nicalaterine A (2) were isolated from the bark of Hunteria zeylanica. Their structures were elucidated by various spectroscopic data such as NMR and CD spectra. A series of bisnicalaterines and nicalaterine A showed potent antiplasmodial activity against Plasmodium falciparum 3D7.  相似文献

A comparative metabolite profiling of the underground parts and leaves of Ruscus ponticus was obtained by an HPLC-ESIMSn method, based on high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray positive ionization multistage ion trap mass spectrometry. The careful study of HPLC-ESIMSn fragmentation pattern of each chromatographic peak, in particular the identification of diagnostic product ions, allowed us to get a rapid screening of saponins belonging to different classes, such as dehydrated/or not furostanol, spirostanol and pregnane glycosides, and to promptly highlight similarities and differences between the two plant parts. This approach, followed by isolation and structure elucidation by 1D- and 2D-NMR experiments, led to the identification of eleven saponins from the underground parts, of which two dehydrated furostanol glycosides and one new vespertilin derivative, and nine saponins from R. ponticus leaves, never reported previously. The achieved results highlighted a clean prevalence of furostanol glycoside derivatives in R. ponticus leaves rather in the underground parts of the plant, which showed a wider structure variety. In particular, the occurrence of dehydrated furostanol derivatives, for the first time isolated from a Ruscus species, is an unusual finding which makes unique the saponins profile of R. ponticus.  相似文献

Psychollatine is an unusual indole alkaloid produced by Psychotria umbellata Vell, an Atlantic Forest understorey tree. Leaves, young inflorescences and fruit pulp displayed high amounts of psychollatine (from 2.5 to 4.5% dry wt). Seeds accumulated lower quantities (0.2% dry wt), and roots, trace amounts (0.06% dry wt). Alkaloid accumulation was not seasonally affected and leaf content was not significantly enhanced by wounding, exposure to salicylic acid, hydrogen peroxide, or UV. The alkaloid content in leaves decreased upon cutting exposure to auxin. Under strong UV, the amount of chlorophylls did not decrease compared to control contents at 48 and 72 h. Post-harvest psychollatine content in leaves was stable in different temperatures, except at 65 °C. Psychollatine was an effective singlet oxygen, superoxide, and peroxide quencher. These antioxidant properties and the constitutively high amount of psychollatine indicate a role for the alkaloid in oxidative stress responses.  相似文献

A survey of the flavonoid glycosides of selected taxa in the genus Veronica yielded two new acylated 5,6,7,3',4'-pentahydroxyflavone (6-hydroxyluteolin) glycosides and two unusual allose-containing acylated 5,7,8,4'-tetrahydroxyflavone (isoscutellarein) glycosides. The new compounds were isolated from V. liwanensis and V. longifolia and identified using NMR spectroscopy as 6-hydroxyluteolin 4'-methyl ether 7-O-alpha-rhamnopyranosyl(1"'-->2")[6"-O-acetyl-beta-glucopyranoside] and 6-hydroxyluteolin 7-O-(6"-O-(E)-caffeoyl)-beta-glucopyranoside, respectively. Isoscutellarein 7-O-(6"'-O-acetyl)-beta-allopyranosyl(1"'-->2")-beta-glucopyranoside was obtained from both V. intercedens and V. orientalis and its 4'-methyl ether from V. orientalis only. Complete 1H and 13C NMR spectral assignments are presented for both isoscutellarein glycosides. Two iridoid glucosides new to the genus Veronica (melittoside and globularifolin) were also isolated from V. intercedens.  相似文献

Glycosides of pyrrole alkaloid (pyrrolemarumine 4″-O-α-l-rhamnopyranoside) and 4′-hydroxyphenylethanamide (marumosides A and B) were isolated from leaves of Moringa oleifera along with eight known compounds; niazirin, methyl 4-(α-l-rhamnopyranosyloxy)benzylcarbamate, benzyl β-d-glucopyranoside, benzyl β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-β-d-glucopyranoside, kaempferol 3-O-β-d-glucopyranoside, quercetin 3-O-β-d-glucopyranoside, adenosine and l-tryptophan. An indole alkaloid (hypaphorine (1)) was isolated from Brazilian medicinal plant, Erythrina velutina (Leguminosae). This compound was investigated for sleep promoting effects in mice, and the results showed that it significantly increased non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep time during the first hour after its administration. The NREM sleep time was enhanced by 33% in the experimental mice when compared to that of the controls. This study therefore confirmed its sleep promoting property.  相似文献
