An investigation of methanolic extract of Warburgia stuhlmannii leaves has led to the isolation of two new drimane-type sesquiterpene glycosides characterized as mukaadial 6-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, mukaadial 6-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside together with two other novel flavonol glycosides identified as 3',5'-O-dimethylmyricetin 3-O-beta-D-2",3"-diacetylglucopyranoside and 3'-O-methylquercetin 3-O-beta-D-2",3",4"-triacetylglucopyranoside. The known compounds; mukaadial, deacetylugandensolide, quercetin, kaempferol, kaempferol 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside, quercetin 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, kaempferol 7-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, myricetin 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside, quercetin 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside, quercetin 3-O-sophoroside and isorhamnetin 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside were also isolated from the same extract.  相似文献

Seven new glycosides of the campesterol derivative (24R,25S)-ergost-5-ene-3beta,26-diol (1-7) were isolated from the rhizomes of Tacca chantrieri (Taccaceae). Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis, including 2D NMR data, and a few chemical transformations.  相似文献

A survey of the flavonoid glycosides of selected taxa in the genus Veronica yielded two new acylated 5,6,7,3',4'-pentahydroxyflavone (6-hydroxyluteolin) glycosides and two unusual allose-containing acylated 5,7,8,4'-tetrahydroxyflavone (isoscutellarein) glycosides. The new compounds were isolated from V. liwanensis and V. longifolia and identified using NMR spectroscopy as 6-hydroxyluteolin 4'-methyl ether 7-O-alpha-rhamnopyranosyl(1"'-->2")[6"-O-acetyl-beta-glucopyranoside] and 6-hydroxyluteolin 7-O-(6"-O-(E)-caffeoyl)-beta-glucopyranoside, respectively. Isoscutellarein 7-O-(6"'-O-acetyl)-beta-allopyranosyl(1"'-->2")-beta-glucopyranoside was obtained from both V. intercedens and V. orientalis and its 4'-methyl ether from V. orientalis only. Complete 1H and 13C NMR spectral assignments are presented for both isoscutellarein glycosides. Two iridoid glucosides new to the genus Veronica (melittoside and globularifolin) were also isolated from V. intercedens.  相似文献

From the aerial parts of Marrubium velutinum, one acylated flavonoid glycoside, chrysoeriol 7-O-(3",6"-di-O-E-p-coumaroyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside, and two tetrasaccharidic phenylethanoid glycosides, velutinosides I-II, have been isolated together with ten known flavonoids and seven known phenylethanoid glycosides. The structures of the isolated compounds were established by means of NMR, MS, and UV spectral analyses.  相似文献

A new acylated flavone glucoside, 3'-hydroxyscutellarein 7-O-(6'-O-protocatechuoyl)-beta-glucopyranoside (1), and a new phenol glucoside, 3,5-dihydroxyphenethyl alcohol 3-O-beta-glucopyranoside (6) were isolated from Veronica thymoides subsp. pseudocinerea together with seven known flavone, phenol and lignan glycosides; 3'-hydroxyscutellarein 7-O-(6'-O-trans-feruloyl)-beta-glucopyranoside (2), 3'-hydroxy, 6-O-methylscutellarein 7-O-beta-glucopyranoside (3), luteolin 7-O-beta-glucopyranoside (4), isoscutellarein 7-O-(6'-O-acetyl)-beta-allopyranosyl (1' --> 2')-beta-glucopyranoside (5), 3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl alcohol 8-O-beta-glucopyranoside (7), benzyl alcohol 7-O-beta-xylopyranosyl (1" --> 2')-beta-glucopyranoside (8), and (+)-syringaresinol 4'-O-beta-glucopyranoside (9). Compounds 2, 3 and 7-9 were reported for the first time in the genus Veronica. The structures of the isolates were determined by means of spectroscopic (UV, IR, 1D and 2D NMR, HR ESI-MS) methods. Isolated compounds (1-7) exhibited potent radical scavenging activity against the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical.  相似文献

Six flavonol glycosides characterised as myricetin 3-O-alpha-rhamnosyl-(1'-->2')-alpha-rhamnoside-3'-O-alpha-rhamnoside, 5'-O-methylmyricetin 3-O-[alpha-rhamnosyl (1'-->2')][alpha-rhamnosyl (1'-->4')]-beta -glucoside-3'-O-beta-glucoside, 5'-O-methylmyricetin 3-O-alpha-rhamnosyl (1'-->2')-alpha-rhamnoside 3'-O-beta-galactoside, kaemferol 3-O-rutinoside-7-O-rutinoside, myricetin 3-O-rutinoside-3'-O-alpha-rhamnoside, myricetin 3-O-beta-glucosyl (1'-->2')-beta-glucoside-4'-O-beta-glucoside together with two iridoid glycosides identified as 6,8-diacetylharpagide and 6,8-diacetylharpagide-1-O-beta-(3',4'-di-O-acetylglucoside) have been isolated from extract of Ajuga remota aerial parts. Also isolated from the same extract were known compounds; kaempferol 3-O-alpha-rhamnoside, quercetin 3-O-beta-glucoside, quercetin 3-O-rutinoside, 8-acetylharpagide, ajugarin I and ajugarin II.  相似文献

Twenty-seven new pregnane glycosides were isolated from the whole plant of Caralluma dalzielii, and their structures elucidated from extensive 2D NMR analysis as well as ESI-MS experiments. All isolated compounds were tested for their antiproliferative activity on J774.A1, HEK-293, and WEHI-164 cell lines. Moderate to high potency of cytotoxicities were found in almost all tested compounds, confirming the significant cytotoxic activity of pregnane glycosides.  相似文献

From the aerial parts of Sideritis ozturkii, three new flavonoids, chrysoeriol 7-O-[2'-O-caffeoyl-O-acetyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucopyranoside], chrysoeriol 7-O[2'-O-caffeoyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 -->2)-beta-D-glucopyranoside] and chrysoeriol 7-O[2'-O-p-coumaroyl-6'-beta-O-acetyl-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucopyranoside] named as ozturkosides A, B and C, respectively, were isolated, along with three known phenylethanoid glycosides, verbascoside, leucoseptoside A, martynoside and five known diterpenoids, 7-epicandicandiol, linearol, sidol, sideroxol, epoxyisolinearol. Three acylated flavonol glycosides have been identified from leaves of Planchonia grandis Ridley. They possess kaempferol as aglycone and two triglycosidic chains substituting hydroxyl groups at the 3- and 7-positions. The first glycosidic unit of each chain is esterified by a cis or trans p-coumaric acid. Structural elucidation was achieved by means of UV, NMR and mass spectrometry.  相似文献

Eight new cardiac glycosides/aglycones (antiaritoxiosides A–G, 17, and antiarotoxinin B, 8), two new coumarins (anticarins A–B, 4142), and two new flavanones (antiarones L–K, 4344) were isolated from trunk bark of Antiaris toxicaria together with 53 known compounds. The new structures were established by extensive analysis of spectroscopic data. Compound 1 (10-carboxy and 3α-hydroxy) and compounds 36 (10-hydroxy) contain unique substituents that are rarely found in cardiac glycosides. The cytotoxic effects of isolated compounds against ten human cancer cell lines, KB, KB-VIN, A549, MCF-7, U-87-MG, PC-3, 1A9, CAKI-1, HCT-9 and S-KMEL-2, were tested using the sulforhodamine B assay. Five compounds (12, 16, 20, 22, and 31) showed significant cytotoxicity against all ten cancer cell lines, with notable potency at the ng/mL level against some cell lines, which merits further development as clinical trial candidates.  相似文献

Eleven new 14,15-seco-pregnane-type steroidal glycosides, cynanosides P1-P5, Q1-Q3, R1-R3, and a novel 12,13-seco-14,18-nor-pregnane-type steroidal glycoside, cynanoside S, were isolated from the roots of Cynanchum atratum, together with four known compounds, atratoside C, sublanceoside E3, chekiangensoside C and cynatroside B. A useful method for the preparation of differently functionalized sulfide spacer-arm glycosides is presented. Several protected allyl glycosides were variously elongated via a radical addition reaction with pentanethiol, methyl 3-mercaptopropionate, or 2-mercaptoethanol. The hydroxyl function of protected 3-(2-hydroxyethylthio)propyl glycosides was subsequently transformed into an azide function.  相似文献

Phytochemical analysis of the polar extracts of the leaves of Helleborus viridis (Ranunculaceae) resulted in the isolation of two new furostanol saponins (25R)-26-[(alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl)oxy]-22alpha-methoxyfurost-5-en-3beta-yl O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-O-[6-acetyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1) and (25R)-26-[(alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl)oxy]-22alpha-methoxyfurost-5-en-3beta-yl O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (2) and three new quercetin glycosides, quercetin 3-O-(2-E-caffeoyl)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-galactopyranoside-7-O-beta-d-glucopyranoside (3), quercetin 3-O-(2-E-caffeoyl)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-galactopyranoside (4), and quercetin 3-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-galactopyranoside (5). Two new minor “Valeriana type” iridoid glycosides (1) and (2) along with 3 known flavonol glycosides [quercetin-3-O-β-glucopyranosyl-7-O-α-rhamnopyranoside (3), quercetin-3-O-β-glucopyranoside (4) and isorhamnetin-3-O-β-glucopyranoside (5)] were isolated from Sambucus ebulus L. leaves. Their structures were unambiguously elucidated by means of 1D- and 2D-NMR, and UPLC-TOF MS. Leaf flavonoid glycosides of Eucalyptus camaldulensis were identified as kaempferol 3-glucoside and 3-glucuronide; quercetin 3-glucoside, 3-glucuronide, 3-rhamnoside, 3-rutinoside and 7-glucoside, apigenin 7-glucuronide and luteolin 7-glucoside and 7-glucuronide. Two chemical races were observed based on the flavonoid glycosides. These races correspond to the northern and southern populations of species growing in Australia. The Middle Eastern species examined were found to belong to the southern Australian chemical race. The major glycosides of E. occidentalis proved to be quercetin and myricetin 3-glucuronide.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigation of the ethanol extract of rhizomes of Iris tectorum resulted in the isolation and characterization of two new flavonoid glycosides, tectorigenin-7-O-β-d-fucopyranoside (1), 3,5,4′-trihydroxy-7,3′-dimethoxyflavanone-5-O-α-l-rhamnopyranoside (2), together with two known ones (3, 4). The rhamnose substituent at C-5 displayed uncommon connection in naturally occurring flavonoid glycosides. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis. Ten flavonoid glycosides were isolated and identified from Artemisia monosperma: vicenin-2, lucenin-2, acacetin 7-glucoside, acacetin 7-rutinoside, the 3-glucosides and 3-rutinosides of quercetin and patuletin, and the 5-glucosides of quercetin and isorhamnetin. The species of genus Salix, commonly known as Willow, are well known worldwide as rich source of medicinally important salicin derivatives and phenolic glycosides. The current study focuses on Salix acmophylla Bioss with the aim of identifying new bioactive constituents of this plant. Two new salicin glycosides, acmophyllin A (1), acmophyllin B (2) and five reported phenolic glycosides 3⿿7, were identified from S. acmophylla Bioss. NMR and mass spectroscopic techniques were employed to elucidate the structure of secondary metabolites of S. acmophylla. The new salicin glycosides were evaluated against three different cancer cell lines i.e., PSN-1 (pancreatic cancer cells), MCF-7 (breast cancer cells) and NCI-H460 (lung cancer cells). The acmophyllin A (1) exhibited cytotoxicity in a dose dependent manner against all three cancer cells (IC50 ⿼35⿿40 μM). Acmophyllin B (2) exhibited mild activity against PSN-1 cells and MCF-7 cancer cells. In addition, compounds 5 and 6 showed potent inhibition of oxidative burst in zymosan activated neutrophils by chemiluminescence technique, while no other compound were found to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS).  相似文献
