Length‐weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for nine fish species occurring in the Three Gorges Reservoir(28°56′–31°44′N, 106°14′–111°28′E). Fish were collected using gill nets, including two of 1.0 m depth, 100 m long, and mesh size of 0.5 cm; two of 1.0 m deepth, 150 m long, and mesh size of 2.0 cm; and one of 1.5 m deepth, 100 m long, and mesh size of 6.0 cm. Gill nets were set over night including different habitats (riffles and pools, vegetated and non vegetated zones) from seven sites seasonally from January 2014 to January 2018. The first LWR reference for Jinshaia abbreviata (Günther, 1892), and Triplophysa tanggulaensis (Zhu, 1982) and new maximum lengths for other seven species are provided when comparing with records given in the international electronic databank FishBase (Froese & Pauly, FishBase. World Wide Web electronic publication, 2018). 相似文献

The paper reports the length–weight relationships of 55 species from the Three Gorges Reservoir (TGR) of the Yangtze River, China, and the largest reservoir in the world. A total of 24,176 specimens were collected from July 2012 to January 2015. Length–weight relationships for 33 fish species not recorded previously in FishBase, and the maximum total lengths computed for eight species are presented. The a values varied between 0.00054 and 0.01923, and the b values ranged from 2.729 to 3.583. The results will be useful for the application of sustainable management and conservation of these fishes in the TGR of the Yangtze River. 相似文献

Length–weight relationships of 15 fish species from the Lower Uruguay freshwater ecoregion 下载免费PDF全文
This work is the first report on length–weight relationships for 15 fish species from the Lower Uruguay freshwater ecoregion. Fishes were collected between 2008 and 2010 in eight streams (Cañada del Sauce, San Luis, Don Esteban Chico and Grande, de la Palmita, Lencina, del Sauce and del Totoral), all tributaries to the Negro River (Uruguay). A standardized fishing effort (50 electric pulses along 100 m) with an electrofishing device (Type IG600T, Hans Grassl GmbH, Schönau am Königssee, Germany) was conducted in each wadeable stream reach. New maximal standard lengths and total weight are given for five and 13 fish species, respectively. 相似文献

Length–weight relationships were determined for three fish species: Gymnodiptychus pachycheilus (Herzenstein, 1892), Discogobio yunnanensis (Regan, 1907), and Triplophysa pseudostenura (He, Zhang & Song, 2012). Samples were collected from the Yalong River, southwestern China using fishing gear (gillnets, 30 × 15 m, mesh‐size 5 mm) and electroshock fishing (CWB‐2000 P, 12 V, 250 HZ) in June 2007. Prior to this study, length–weight relationships for these three species were unknown. For two of the species [Discogobio yunnanensis (Regan, 1907) and Triplophysa pseudostenura (He, Zhang & Song, 2012)], new maximum standard lengths not yet reported in the scientific literature were noted. 相似文献
