The warm, dry climate in central India provides suitable conditions for the growth of many crustose lichens, including Caloplaca species. A new species, Caloplaca awasthii Joshi, Y. & Upreti, is described from this region, where it is found growing in rocky areas of Madhya Pradesh (Bedinagar Hills and Bhimbetka) and Rajasthan (Mount Abu). The new taxon belongs to the section Gasparrinia and is characterized by the presence of blastidia, but lacks apothecia and pycnidia. It is a saxicolous species and is similar to C. decipiens (Arnold) Blomb. & Fross., but differs in having blastidia instead of soredia which are present in C. decipiens. Another closely related species, C. fuerteventurae van den Boom & Etayo, belonging to the C. flavescens complex, differs from the new taxon in having numerous apothecia and citriform spores. © 2007 The Linnean Society of London, Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society , 2007, 155 , 149–152. 相似文献

Cladonia (sect. Cocciferae , subsect. Ochroleucae) norvegica T0nsb. & Holien sp. nov., is closely related to C. bacilliformis (Nyl.) DT. & Sarnth. but is morphologically, chemically, and ecologically distinct. Superficially it may resemble C. (sect. Cladonia) coniocraea auct., which is often growing with it. Gagea tisoniana Peruzzi et al. sp. nov. is described and its taxonomic relationship is discussed. The new species, which appears to be endemic to central Italy, is close to G. pratensis (Pers.) Dumort., G. pusilla (F. W. Schmidt) Sweet, and other mainly poorly known [i.e. G. succedanea Griseb. et Schenk, G. transversalis Stev., and G. paczoskii (Zapal.) Grossh.] or as yet undescribed taxa from eastern Europe and the eastern Mediterranean area. The recognition of the new taxon G. tisoniana is claimed on the basis of anatomical, karyological, ecological, and phytogeographical data. Maps of the Italian distribution of G. pratensis (2 n = 60), G. pusilla (2 n = 24), and G. tisoniana (2 n = 24) are presented, together with an analytical identification key. AbstractA new species from the Andean region of northwestern Argentina is described and illustrated: Sisyrinchium humahuacense. This species can be distinguish from its closest related species by three main characters: the presence of a conspicuous horizontal rhizome, the colour of the flowers and the presence of rudimentary leaves not splitting in fibers. A phylogenetic analysis based on DNA sequences supported the inclusion of S. humahuacense within the genus and as part of the section Segetia. The new species Boletus mendax of sect. Luridi is reported and discussed; its morphological, anatomical and edaphic characters are described and a molecular investigation is carried out in order to elucidate the separation from neighboring taxa. The present research also demonstrates the high degree of segregation of two collections of the recently described Boletus comptus and the low taxonomic value of the usual reddish pigmentation of the subhymenophoral layer (the so called Bataille’s line) for both taxa B. mendax and B. luridus. Colour pictures taken in habitat of the taxa presented herein are also provided. Finally, according to an ITS analysis, sect. Luridi is shown to be polyphyletic and the importance of morphological features as stipe ornamentation, context colour beneath tubes and amyloid reaction in stipe base is discussed. 相似文献

丝盖伞属裂盖组Inocybe sect. Rimosae sensu lato是一个分类难度较大的类群,组内的一些种类被认为是复合种。分子系统发育分析表明该组并非单系群,该组成员隶属于丝盖伞科下的2个属级分支,Inosperma分支和Pseudosperma分支。本文结合形态学特征和分子序列分析,对我国丝盖伞属裂盖组进行了分类学研究,发现3个新种:长白丝盖伞Inocybe changbaiensis、新茶褐丝盖伞I. neoumbrinella和云南丝盖伞I. yunnanensis。长白丝盖伞和新茶褐丝盖伞产自中国东北,前者生于针阔混交林下,后者生于柳树林下;云南丝盖伞产自云南省昆明市,生于阔叶树下。基于LSU序列的系统发育分析结果显示,长白丝盖伞隶属于Inosperma分支,新茶褐丝盖伞和云南丝盖伞隶属于Pseudosperma分支。本文对此进行了形态描述和特征图示,并讨论了新种与近缘种之间的异同。编制了中国丝盖伞属裂盖组已知种类的分种检索表。 相似文献

A new species and a new variety of Cortinarius sect. Defibulati are described and illustrated from Niigata, Japan. Cortinarius rugosolilacinus sp.nov., found in deciduous forests, is most similar to Cortinarius livido-ochraceus (=C. elatior), but differs mainly in its longer basidiospores, slender basidiocarp, and pale violet lamellae in the button stage. Cortinarius pseudosalor var. niigatensis var. nov., found in deciduous forests, is distinguished from the type variety by its brown to dark brown pileus with a wrinkled
surface even when young. The differences between the two taxa and similar species are briefly discussed.

Astragalus neo-assadianus (Fabaceae), a new species endemic to Iran, is described and illustrated. This species belongs to A. sect . Alopecuroidei and is distinct and interesting among the Iranian species.
