Analytic expressions for plasma total titratablebase, base excess (CB), strong-ion difference, changein strong-ion difference (SID), change in Van Slyke standardbicarbonate (VSSB), anion gap, and change in anion gap are derivedas a function of pH, total buffer ion concentration, and conditionalmolar equilibrium constants. The behavior of these various parametersunder respiratory and metabolic acid-base disturbances for constant andvariable buffer ion concentrations is considered. For constantnoncarbonate buffer concentrations, SID = CB = VSSB, whereas these equalities no longer hold under changes innoncarbonate buffer concentration. The equivalence is restored if thereference state is changed to include the new buffer concentrations.

高原鼢鼠是终生生活于地下封闭洞道中的一种啮齿动物。为了探讨高原鼢鼠对低氧和高二氧化碳环境的适应机制,对春、夏和秋三季高原鼢鼠血液生理指标以及心肌和骨骼肌肌红蛋白含量进行了测定。春、夏和秋季高原鼢鼠动脉血和静脉血pH值分别为7.44±0.09、7.44±0.05、7.51±0.07和7.17±0.05、7.29±0.07、7.35±0.08,动脉血pH在不同季节没有显著性差异,静脉血pH春季显著低于夏季和秋季。动脉和静脉血二氧化碳分压(Pco2)分别为47.81±14.50mmHg、55.10±13.50mmHg、53.00±10.81mmHg和75.17±31.09mmHg、75.40±20.21mmHg、80.00±17.44mmHg,没有季节性差异;动脉和静脉血氧分压(Po2)分别为76.17±33.24mmHg、78.90±16.61mmHg、88.67±24.94mmHg和7.34±4.07mmHg、10.60±2.76mmHg、10.33±3.56mmHg,没有季节性差异;动脉和静脉血血氧饱和度(SaO2)分别为92.71%±5.00%、94.70%±3.65%、96.00%±4.38%和4.27%±3.03%、9.01%±5.26%、9.67%±6.02%,动脉血SaO2没有季节性差异,而静脉血SaO2春季显著低于夏季和秋季。血液红细胞数(RBC)、血红蛋白(Hb)和红细胞压积(HCT),从春季到冬季依次增加,并具有显著性差异,血清诱导型一氧化氮合成酶(iNOS)活力随着夏季洞道中二氧化碳浓度的增加而显著提高。心肌和骨骼肌肌红蛋白(Mb)含量春季显著高于夏季和秋季,红细胞内2,3-二磷酸甘油酸(2,3-DPG)含量秋季显著高于春季和夏季。上述结果表明:随着洞道中氧气和二氧化碳浓度的季节波动,高原鼢鼠通过调节氧转运有关的功能蛋白含量以及氧代谢有关的生理机制维持组织的氧平衡。  相似文献

The effect of 4 sampling routines--venipuncture, intravenous cannula, intravenous cannula following the administration of a tranquiliser (xylidino dihydrothiazine hydrochloride), intravenous cannula following exercise--were compared. Blood pH and base excess values were similar after venipuncture and cannula sampling, but higher (P less than 0 with 05) after the administration of the tranquiliser and lower (P less than 3 with 05) following exercise. Blood haemoglobin, haematocrit and lactate levels followed this pattern, while plasma protein levels were similar for all treatments except after exercise, where they were higher (P less than 0 with 05). The recovery of various blood parameters to normal values after a period of exercise was also studied: acid-base balance had returned to near normal within 60 min, while haemoglobin and haematocrit levels had returned to normal within 10 min.  相似文献

The modelling of metabolic acidosis and alcalosis states proves that AAB is capable to influence on the haemoglobin parameters and its oxiform levels in the blood of newborn animals. The quantitative redistribution of the indicated haemoglobin forms in blood of the experimental animal is estimated as compensator process and is explained by their buffer properties. The investigated regularities revealed some aspects of adaptive mechanisms manifested during the abnormal exit of the newborn organism from the respiratory-metabolic acidosis state.  相似文献

The efficient use of preparative protein purification in a multicompartment electrolyzer with Immobiline membranes depends on the knowledge of membrane characteristics. For that purpose, an experimental investigation of the effects of ionic charges on the membrane characteristics has been carried out through the measurements of membrane swelling and conductance. We also investigated the effects on the electrolyzer behaviour of operating parameters such as the Immobiline concentration and the presence of ion-exchange membranes. Data show that polyacrylamide gel degree of swelling is strongly dependent upon the pH and the ionic strength of the bathing solution as well as on the type and molarity of charges incorporated in the gel. The conductance of supported Immobiline gels in contact with uni-univalent chloride solutions has been measured by means of a mercury cell. The membrane conductance is also influenced by the ionic strength of the equilibrium solution and the presence of weak ionizable groups in the gel matrix. This study has demonstrated the close link between electrochemical and electromechanical properties of Immobiline membranes.  相似文献

Recombinant human growth hormone (r-hGH) expressed in Escherichia coli, was 70-80% purified by a combination of ion-exchange chromatography and metal ion affinity chromatography. For the last purification step, a multicompartment electrolyzer was used, containing three compartments delimited by isoelectric membranes and two additional anodic and cathodic chambers. The central compartment was situated between two membranes having isoelectric points (pI) of 5.08 (anodic) and of 5.16 (cathodic), i.e. equidistant from the pI value of hGH (pI 5.12). r-hGH was isoelectric between these two membranes and could not leave the central chamber, while more acidic and more cathodic impurities collected in the two lateral chambers under the influence of the electric field. The r-hGH, thus purified, exhibited a single band by isoelectric focusing (IEF) in immobilized pH gradients (IPG) and gave recoveries greater than 90%. The problem of isoelectric precipitation in a practically ion-free environment was alleviated by focusing in 30% glycerol added with 1% neutral detergent (Nonidet-P40). The latter was eliminated by passage through a Q-Sepharose column after collecting the pI 5.12 band from the electrolyzer. Also the pre-hormone (pre-hGH) can be purified in a similar manner (30% glycerol, 1% Nonidet P-40) between two membranes having pIs 4.77 (anodic) and 4.87 (cathodic) (pre-hGH pI 4.82). This paper demonstrates the possibility of purifying by a focusing process also poorly soluble proteins at the pI.  相似文献

Magnetophoresis is the process of the particle motion under the influence of a magnetic field. The magnetic particle and medium are considered responsive to the imposed magnetic field, and the material property that describes the response to the external magnetic field is relative magnetic permeability, and the magnetic susceptibility. The present work aims to evaluate the effect of internal and external physiological parameters on the erythrocytes' magnetophoretic mobility (MM) using Cell Tracking Velocimetry (CTV). The results of this study showed that there are a strong correlation between MM and several physiological blood parameters such as mean corpuscle hemoglobin (MCH), red blood cells distribution width (RDW), mean corpuscle hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), and fibrinogen.  相似文献

Three suppressor system of T lymphocyte proliferation found in normal blood were characterized. The adherent cell suppressor system (ACSS) is effected by a steroid and radioresistant monocyte that survives well in culture. The prostaglandin-related suppressor system (PgSS) is effected by a similar cell but is distinct from the ACSS in terms of magnitude of suppression, effective monocyte concentration, and carrageenan or indomethacin sensitivity. The induced suppressor system (ISS) is effected by a T lymphocyte that is partially radiosensitive and loses activity after 24 hr in culture. Although the ISS is unaffected by age, ACSS and PgSS activity is, overall, higher among elderly than among young adult subjects. Activation of these three suppressor systems does not require cell replication. They are not restricted by histocompatibility barriers.  相似文献

In the human, the antagonistic, extensor-flexor system of the leg is an example of a common type of neurophysiological feedback system. After a brief introduction to the neuroanatomy and physiology of this feedback system, the paper formulates transfer functions from temporal response data available in the literature. A feedback stability analysis, based on the extension of Nyquist's stability criteria to multiple-loop systems and utilizing flow-graph techniques, demonstrates the stable behavior of the system. Expressions are given relating the sensitivity of the system to variations in muscle response and Golgi tendon organ (tension receptor) response. By considering the events taking place at synapses and end-plates during “isometric tension-small knee angle excursion” conditions as stationary stochastic processes, an external “noise” input to the system is given, whose spectrum is derived from the statistics of a shot-process representation of these events. The paper concludes with some correlations between the analytical results and clinical syndromes.  相似文献

研究了甘南亚高寒草甸不同坡向条件下矮嵩草、狼毒和棘豆叶片的叶绿素、游离脯氨酸和可溶性糖含量,以及稳定碳同位素(δ13C)的变化,分析干旱胁迫条件下,植物适应干旱胁迫的生理机制.结果表明: 随着坡向由北坡-西北坡-西坡-西南坡到南坡的变化,土壤含水量(北坡0.36 g·g-1,南坡0.15 g·g-1)呈降低趋势,土壤温度(北坡14.76 ℃,南坡24.85 ℃)和光照度(北坡540.34 lx,南坡744.12 lx)呈增加趋势;植物物种的组成也随之发生了变化,北坡主要有灌木金露梅及杂类草,而南坡主要有禾草类物种.3种植物叶片的脯氨酸、可溶性糖、叶绿素含量及稳定碳同位素(δ13C)随着坡向的变化均有不同程度的变化,且物种不同,各物种的生理指标变化幅度也有差异.在坡向梯度上,3种植物的脯氨酸、可溶性糖含量和稳定碳同位素与土壤含水量均呈显著负相关,与温度和光照强度呈显著正相关;植物叶片叶绿素与土壤含水量呈显著正相关,与温度和光照强度呈显著负相关.其中,土壤含水量是坡向梯度上影响植物生长的关键因子.植物叶片生理指标(脯氨酸、可溶性糖及叶绿素等)可以作为衡量植物抗逆性的因素,3种植物的抗性大小顺序为:矮嵩草>狼毒>棘豆.  相似文献

We developed mathematical models that predict equilibrium distribution of water and electrolytes (proteins and simple ions), metabolites, and other species between plasma and erythrocyte fluids (blood) and interstitial fluid. The models use physicochemical principles of electroneutrality in a fluid compartment and osmotic equilibrium between compartments and transmembrane Donnan relationships for mobile species. Across the erythrocyte membrane, the significant mobile species Cl? is assumed to reach electrochemical equilibrium, whereas Na(+) and K(+) distributions are away from equilibrium because of the Na(+)/K(+) pump, but movement from this steady state is restricted because of their effective short-term impermeability. Across the capillary membrane separating plasma and interstitial fluid, Na(+), K(+), Ca2(+), Mg2(+), Cl?, and H(+) are mobile and establish Donnan equilibrium distribution ratios. In each compartment, attainment of equilibrium by carbonates, phosphates, proteins, and metabolites is determined by their reactions with H(+). These relationships produce the recognized exchange of Cl(-) and bicarbonate across the erythrocyte membrane. The blood submodel was validated by its close predictions of in vitro experimental data, blood pH, pH-dependent ratio of H(+), Cl?, and HCO?? concentrations in erythrocytes to that in plasma, and blood hematocrit. The blood-interstitial model was validated against available in vivo laboratory data from humans with respiratory acid-base disorders. Model predictions were used to gain understanding of the important acid-base disorder caused by addition of saline solutions. Blood model results were used as a basis for estimating errors in base excess predictions in blood by the traditional approach of Siggaard-Andersen (acid-base status) and more recent approaches by others using measured blood pH and Pco? values. Blood-interstitial model predictions were also used as a basis for assessing prediction errors of extracellular acid-base status values, such as by the standard base excess approach. Hence, these new models can give considerable insight into the physicochemical mechanisms producing acid-base disorders and aid in their diagnoses.  相似文献

The values of hemoglobin concentration, Hb-O2 affinity and buffering capacity of the blood of six sea snake species considerably overlap values from terrestrial squamates. Decreased blood pH had little effect on the P50 but increased the n-value of Hb-O2 equilibrium curves. The O2 saturation of blood in the dorsal aorta varied between about 30 and 70% during voluntary diving in Acalyptophis peronii and Lapemis hardwickii. Voluntary dives ended when the lung PP02 was about 50 mm Hg and the arterial PO2 about 30 mm Hg indicating that roughly half of the O2 reserves had been used. In conjunction with relatively stable blood lactate concentration and pH, this indicates that voluntary dives occurred largely aerobically. In contrast, forced dives resulted in depletion of O2 reserves and large changes in blood acid-base balance. Long recovery periods following forced dives are inconsistent with field observations and thus suggest that extensive anaerobic metabolism does not normally occur in sea snakes. Bradycardia was not evident during forced dives. Large differences in PO2 between the lung and dorsal aorta indicated considerable right to left shunting either in the heart or in the lung. Venous blood represented over 50% of the systemic flow when there was considerable O2 in the lung. Therefore blood PO2 may remain relatively low despite elevated lung PO2 resulting from diving. In view of substantial capability for extra-pulmonary gas exchange, high shunting reduces the possibility of losing O2 through the skin and also may help prevent decompression sickness following deep dives.  相似文献

The loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta), one of the three sea turtle species inhabiting the Mediterranean Sea, is an endangered species. However, although frequently treated in marine animal rescue centers, and the subject of several studies in literature, as yet, few studies have been conducted on large numbers of loggerhead sea turtles in order to establish physiological reference ranges that enable the identification of pathological values. The lack of studies on reference parameters probably depends on the fact that marine turtles treated in wildlife rescue centers are usually in a critical conditions, thus precluding the collection of data on healthy animals and compromising the reliability of any data obtained from them. The present biological study was therefore conducted in order to obtain a database from healthy animals in natural conditions. Serum biochemistry and serum protein electrophoresis were performed on blood samples obtained from 65 healthy adult loggerhead sea turtles captured and delivered to the Sea Turtle Rescue Center of Linosa (Italy); the blood samples were collected during the clinical examination of rescued animals. Laboratory analyses of serum samples were made in order to establish reference parameters, commonly required for laboratory diagnoses in mammals and diseased animals.
