栓皮栎种群的性状分化与地理变异性研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
同一种群个体在不同的环境条件下会表现出一定的性状分化.这种由于地理差异引起的种群间性状的变件,反映了种群应对不同生境条什的进化方式和适应对策。研究表明:不同生境的栓皮栎种群性状参数分化差异明显。栓皮栎种群的叶柄长、叶长、叶宽、栓皮厚度、种长和种宽随纬度呈现出二次抛物线关系;叶柄长、叶长和栓皮厚度随海拔高度晕现明显的二次抛物线关系;叶宽和种宽随海拔高度的变化呈现出明显的正线性相关;种长与海拔的关系为一种典型的负线性相关。可见,由于纬度和海拔梯度的连续变化,使与之相关的生境因子也呈现出一个渐变的过程,塑造出在性状特征上有差异的种群。因而,当种群性状参数随地理纬度和海拔的变异模式确定后,就可以大体揭示种群性状分化的规律和变化趋势。  相似文献

采用3S技术与植物群落研究法,对高原湿地纳帕海24a来的湿地植物群落分布格局及变化的研究结果表明:与24a前水生植物群落相比较。纳帕海水生植物群落类型、数量改变,原生群落不断减少或消失,耐污、喜富营养类群如水葱群落(Com.Scirpus tabernaemontani)、茭草群落(Com.Zizania caduciflora)、穗状狐尾藻群落(Com.Myriophyllum spicatum)、满江红(Com.Azolla imbricata)群落等大量出现;群落总数由24a前的9个增至当前的12个,其中挺水植物群落增加2个,浮叶植物群落增加1个,挺水植物群落增幅最大。由东向西、由南向北,纳帕海水生植物群落分布大致呈现出浮叶群落、挺水群落、沉水群落斑块状依次配置的水平格局规律。挺水植物群落分布面积最大,达528.42hm^2,其次是沉水植物群落,分布面积为362.50hm^2,浮叶植物群落分布面积最小,为70.23hm^2。随沉水群落、浮叶群落向挺水群落的演替,群落伴生种数量增加、优势种优势度减小、层次类型改变,群落结构变得更为复杂。纳帕海湿地水生植物群落分布格局及变化是对湿地环境变化的响应,表明了在人为干扰作用影响下,纳帕海湖岸线内移、水量减少、水质恶化等湿地水文条件的改变,致使湿地生态系统功能不断退化。  相似文献

Lakes undergoing cyanobacterial blooms often exhibit differences between free-living (FL) and cyanobacteria-associated (CA) bacterial assemblages, but previous studies have not compared distinct FL and CA communities across multiple lakes. This project investigated whether FL and CA communities differ from each other in consistent ways across lakes. FL and CA communities were collected from three Ohio (USA) lakes on two sampling dates during cyanobacterial blooms. High-throughput sequencing was used to characterize the communities, and comparisons were made of the composition and diversity of FL and CA communities within and across lakes. Diversity estimates did not vary significantly among lakes nor between CA and FL assemblages. The taxonomic composition of CA communities differed significantly from that of FL communities in Buckeye and Harsha Lakes and in Maumee Bay on one of two sampling dates. CA communities from Buckeye and Harsha Lakes were more similar to each other than to their respective FL communities. Community composition in Maumee Bay on August 18 did not differ between FL and CA habitats. As the bloom progressed, the FL community remained similar in composition to samples collected on August 18, while the CA community became significantly dissimilar. This study is the first cross-lake comparisons of CA and FL communities, uncovering the impacts of habitat type, lake, and sampling date in determining community composition.  相似文献

Dormancy may be an important aspect influencing the ecology of riverine microfauna, yet fundamental knowledge concerning riverine egg bank communities is still scant compared with that for communities in floodplain habitats. We investigated the microfaunal egg bank communities in slackwater habitats of an Australian floodplain river, and compared them with the communities occurring in nearby floodplain wetlands. This was achieved by taking replicate sediment cores from paired examples of each habitat and later incubating the resting stages within these sediment cores. Results from the study indicated that the egg bank communities in each habitat differed in both composition and structure, with only 12 of the 31 taxa recorded being common to both habitat types. This suggests that in addition to supporting microfaunal persistence in the main channel, riverine egg bank communities represent an important source of microfaunal diversity together with floodplain egg bank communities in river–floodplain systems.  相似文献

Recovery of the species richness of plant communities after experimental disturbances of various severities were studied in spruce forests polluted by atmospheric entry of SO2 and heavy metals from a copper smelter. In the three toxic load zones (impact, buffer, and background), 60 experimental “pit-and-mound” complexes (sized 1 m × 2 m, 20 complexes in each zone) were created. Colonization of disturbed areas by vascular plants was observed during a 6-year period after the disturbance. The results showed that the recovery processes were affected by disturbance severity and that the recovery differed significantly among the communities. In all of the zones, species richness increased rapidly after mild disturbance. In degraded communities, levelling of differences in the rate of colonization after mild and severe disturbances was observed. The highest colonization rate was found in the communities of background zone, while the lowest was found in the heavily degraded communities of impact zone. The disturbances significantly increased the species diversity of communities in all zones and caused a certain reversion of degraded communities to previous stage of anthropogenic succession. Mild disturbance promoted the greatest increase in the diversity indices. The study results indicate that recovery rate of species richness of plant communities is determined by the duration of negative effect of disturbances. Recovery also depends significantly on the magnitude and endurance of positive effect of disturbances. The studied communities differed significantly in these parameters. The study results also suggest that short-term disturbances can significantly modify the process of transformation of plant communities by atmospheric pollution. On the other hand, long-term pollution can considerably modify the response of forest communities to disturbances. The results also conclude that the resilience of communities does not exclusively depend on their species richness.  相似文献

金沙江干热河谷元谋段残存的锥连栎群落中植物种类组成较为简单,共发现68种植物,隶属于35科60属,其中,禾本科、蝶形花科、菊科、唇形科等科植物占有较大优势;从植物生活型和功能型来看,群落内以草本植物和多年生植物数量居多,分别占所有植物种类的58.8%和63.2%。不同类型群落中,除了扭黄茅始终为各群落中最为重要的优势种之外,同一草本植物在不同群落中的作用和地位存在较大差异;群落物种多样性及相似性程度较为低下,其Shannon-Weiner指数在1.7~2.6之间,且与群落受干扰程度存在较大关联。  相似文献

Artificial substrata have been used in diatom studies for almost 100 years. However, concern still exists over whether diatom communities developing on artificial substrata accurately represent communities developing on natural substrata. This study compares the diatom communities colonising glass slides and clay tiles in two coastal dune lakes, and compares these communities to the naturally occurring communities in the epipelon, epilithon, and epiphyton. Both glass microslides and clay tiles, incubated for three separate periods ranging from 29 to 68 days, resulted in replicate substratum samples supporting similar diatom community compositions at each site. The degree of variation between artificial substrata communities at different sites, and between the two artificial substrata types, was generally no more than the degree of variation between communities on different types of natural substrata. Additionally, the composition of the diatom communities on the artificial substrata was representative of the community composition on the natural substrata. Dispersal limitation is generally considered to have little influence on the spatial structure of biodiversity in microbial metacommunities. This notion derives mainly from the analysis of spatial patterns in the field, but experimental tests of dispersal limitation using natural communities are rare for prokaryotes and, to our knowledge, non-existent for viruses. We studied the effects of dispersal intensity (three levels) and patch heterogeneity (two levels) on the structure of replicate experimental metacommunities of bacteria and viruses using outdoor mesocosms with plankton communities from natural ponds and lakes. Low levels of dispersal resulted in a decrease in the compositional differences (beta diversity) among the communities of both bacteria and viruses, but we found no effects of patch heterogeneity. The reductions in beta diversity are unlikely to be a result of mass effects and only partly explained by indirect dispersal-mediated interactions with phytoplankton and zooplankton. Our results suggest that even a very limited exchange among local communities can alter the trajectory of bacterial and viral communities at small temporal and spatial scales.  相似文献

Aim Species richness in itself is not always sufficient to evaluate land management strategies for nature conservation. The exchange of species between local communities may be affected by landscape structure and land‐use intensity. Thus, species turnover, and its inverse, community similarity, may be useful measures of landscape integrity from a diversity perspective. Location A European transect from France to Estonia. Methods We measured the similarity of plant, bird, wild bee, true bug, carabid beetle, hoverfly and spider communities sampled along gradients in landscape composition (e.g. total availability of semi‐natural habitat), landscape configuration (e.g. fragmentation) and land‐use intensity (e.g. pesticide loads). Results Total availability of semi‐natural habitats had little effect on community similarity, except for bird communities, which were more homogeneous in more natural landscapes. Bee communities, in contrast, were less similar in landscapes with higher percentages of semi‐natural habitats. Increased landscape fragmentation decreased similarity of true bug communities, while plant communities showed a nonlinear, U‐shaped response. More intense land use, specifically increased pesticide burden, led to a homogenization of bee, bug and spider communities within sites. In these cases, habitat fragmentation interacted with pesticide load. Hoverfly and carabid beetle community similarity was differentially affected by higher pesticide levels: for carabid beetles similarity decreased, while for hoverflies we observed a U‐shaped relationship. Main conclusions Our study demonstrates the effects of landscape composition, configuration and land‐use intensity on the similarity of communities. It indicates reduced exchange of species between communities in landscapes dominated by agricultural activities. Taxonomic groups differed in their responses to environmental drivers and using but one group as an indicator for ‘biodiversity’ as such would thus not be advisable.  相似文献

Ecologists have long studied the temporal dynamics of plant and animal communities with much less attention paid to the temporal dynamics exhibited by microbial communities. As a result, we do not know if overarching temporal trends exist for microbial communities or if changes in microbial communities are generally predictable with time. Using microbial time series assessed via high-throughput sequencing, we conducted a meta-analysis of temporal dynamics in microbial communities, including 76 sites representing air, aquatic, soil, brewery wastewater treatment, human- and plant-associated microbial biomes. We found that temporal variability in both within- and between-community diversity was consistent among microbial communities from similar environments. Community structure changed systematically with time in less than half of the cases, and the highest rates of change were observed within ranges of 1 day to 1 month for all communities examined. Microbial communities exhibited species–time relationships (STRs), which describe the accumulation of new taxa to a community, similar to those observed previously for plant and animal communities, suggesting that STRs are remarkably consistent across a broad range of taxa. These results highlight that a continued integration of microbial ecology into the broader field of ecology will provide new insight into the temporal patterns of microbial and ‘macro''-bial communities alike.  相似文献

The diversity of attached and free-living Actinobacteria and Betaproteobacteria, based on 16S rRNA gene sequences, was investigated in a mesotrophic lake during two periods of contrasting phytoplankton dominance. Comparison analyses showed a phylogenetic difference between attached and free-living communities for the two bacterial groups. For Betaproteobacteria, the betaI clade was detected at all sampling dates in free-living and attached bacterial communities and was the dominant clade contributing to 57.8% of the total retrieved operational taxonomic units (OTUs). For Actinobacteria, the acIV cluster was found to be dominant, followed by acI contributing to 45% and 25% of the total retrieved OTUs, respectively. This study allows the determination of eight new putative clades among the Betaproteobacteria termed lbI-lbVIII and a new putative clade named acLBI belonging to the Actinobacteria. The seasonal dynamics of phytoplankton and zooplankton communities have been reflected as changes in distinct bacterial phylotypes for both attached and free-living communities. For attached communities, relationships were observed between Actinobacteria and Chrysophyceae, and between Betaproteobacteria and Dinophyceae and Chlorophyceae biomass. On the other hand, within free-living communities, few actinobacterial clades were found to be dependent on either nutrients or phytoplankton communities, whereas Betaproteobacteria were mainly associated with biological parameters (i.e. phytoplankton and copepod communities).  相似文献

Using GPS technology and community research methods for plant communities,we investigated the distribution patterns of aquatic plant communities in the high plateaus of the Napahai Wetlands,Yunnan,China,as well as the species changes of plant communities compared with that of 24 years ago since 2005.We found that the types and numbers of aquatic plant communities have changed.Some pollution-tolerant,nutrient-loving plant communities such as Scirpus tabernaemontani,Zizania caduciflora,Myriophyllum spicatum,and Azolla imbricata flourished,while the primary aquatic plant com-munities were reduced or even disappeared.The number of aquatic plant communities were increased from nine to 12 with the addition of two new emergent plant com-munities and one new floating-leaved plant community.The increase in emergent plant communities was signifi-cant.From east to west and from south to north,various types of plant communities were continuously distributed,including floating-leaved plant communities,emergent plant communities and submerged plant communities.The composition of the communities became more com-plicated and the number of accompanying species increased,while the percentage ratio of dominant plant species declined.In 2005,the coverage of emergent plant communities was the largest (528.42 hm2) followed by submerged plant communities (362.50 hm2) and the float-ing-leaf plant communities was the smallest (70.23 hm2).The variations in the distribution of aquatic plant com-munities in the Napahai Wetlands reflect the natural responses to the change of the wetland ecological envir-onment.This study indicates that human disturbances have led to an inward movement of the wetland shoreline,a decrease in water quality and a reduction in wetland habitat.  相似文献

Based on original data (450 samples from 115 streams of European Russia middle latitudes--from Pskov to Kostroma Regions) the attempt is made to describe the overall diversity of rheophilic communities dwelling on streams bottom and in macrophytes. In total, 39 community types were identified by the Brown-Blankuet method; their taxonomical and structural characteristics are described; the associations with biotopes are outlined; and a biotopical nomenclature is proposed. All communities are subdivided into four biotopical classes: crenal (springs and springbrooks with mixed substrates), rhitral (stony and woody substrates), phythal (macrophytes), and pelal (soft ground). It is shown that all communities may be divided by their organization as R-type of M-type community. 36 out of 39 studied communities belong to R-type and are characterized mainly by prevalence of insect, unstable dominance, and rather distinct association to the biotope. In M-type communities (3 out of 39 studied communities) eurybiontic mullusk Viviparus viviparus and amphipod Dikerogammarus haemobaphes predominate; these communities are interbiotopic, with stable species structure and high total abundance. The effect of the study spatial scale on the definition of communities is discussed along with problems of the communities dynamics.  相似文献

We have little knowledge of how climatic variation (and by proxy, habitat variation) influences the phylogenetic structure of tropical communities. Here, we quantified the phylogenetic structure of mammal communities in Africa to investigate how community structure varies with respect to climate and species richness variation across the continent. In addition, we investigated how phylogenetic patterns vary across carnivores, primates, and ungulates. We predicted that climate would differentially affect the structure of communities from different clades due to between-clade biological variation. We examined 203 communities using two metrics, the net relatedness (NRI) and nearest taxon (NTI) indices. We used simultaneous autoregressive models to predict community phylogenetic structure from climate variables and species richness. We found that most individual communities exhibited a phylogenetic structure consistent with a null model, but both climate and species richness significantly predicted variation in community phylogenetic metrics. Using NTI, species rich communities were composed of more distantly related taxa for all mammal communities, as well as for communities of carnivorans or ungulates. Temperature seasonality predicted the phylogenetic structure of mammal, carnivoran, and ungulate communities, and annual rainfall predicted primate community structure. Additional climate variables related to temperature and rainfall also predicted the phylogenetic structure of ungulate communities. We suggest that both past interspecific competition and habitat filtering have shaped variation in tropical mammal communities. The significant effect of climatic factors on community structure has important implications for the diversity of mammal communities given current models of future climate change.  相似文献

Bacterioplankton in freshwater streams play a critical role in stream nutrient cycling. Despite their ecological importance, the temporal variability in the structure of stream bacterioplankton communities remains understudied. We investigated the composition and temporal variability of stream bacterial communities and the influence of physicochemical parameters on these communities. We used barcoded pyrosequencing to survey bacterial communities in 107 streamwater samples collected from four locations in the Colorado Rocky Mountains from September 2008 to November 2009. The four sampled locations harboured distinct communities yet, at each sampling location, there was pronounced temporal variability in both community composition and alpha diversity levels. These temporal shifts in bacterioplankton community structure were not seasonal; rather, their diversity and composition appeared to be driven by intermittent changes in various streamwater biogeochemical conditions. Bacterial communities varied independently of time, as indicated by the observation that communities in samples collected close together in time were no more similar than those collected months apart. The temporal turnover in community composition was higher than observed in most previously studied microbial, plant or animal communities, highlighting the importance of stochastic processes and disturbance events in structuring these communities over time. Detailed temporal sampling is important if the objective is to monitor microbial community dynamics in pulsed ecosystems like streams.  相似文献

Rhizosphere bacterial communities are vital for plants, yet the composition of rhizobacterial communities and the complex interactions between roots and microbiota, or between microbiota, are largely unknown. In this study, we investigated the structure and composition of rhizobacterial communities in two soybean cultivars and their recombinant inbred lines contrasting in nodulation through 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing in two years of field trials. Our results demonstrate that soybean plants are able to select microbes from bulk soils at the taxonomic and functional level. Soybean genotype significantly influenced the structure of rhizobacterial communities and resulted in dramatically different co‐occurrence networks of rhizobacterial communities between different genotypes of soybean plants. Furthermore, the introduction of exogenous rhizobia through inoculation altered soybean rhizobacterial communities in genotype‐dependent manner. Rhizobium inoculation not only stimulated the proliferation of potential beneficial microbes but also increased connections in rhizobacterial networks and changed the hub microbes, all of which led to the association of distinctive bacterial communities. Taken together, we demonstrated that the assembly of soybean rhizobacterial communities was determined by both genotype and the introduction of exogenous rhizobia. These findings bolster the feasibility of root microbiome engineering through inoculation of specific microbial constituents.  相似文献

通过重要值、分布格局、年龄结构、静态生命曲线等方法研究了连古城自然保护区5种群落优势种群数量在时间上和空间上的变化趋势。研究结果表明:灌木荒漠群落中,优势种群或共优种群的重要值远远大于亚优势种群,在维持群落结构和功能方面占据十分重要的地位。除红砂群落外,其它类型的群落中,都具有相同的亚优势种群,即泡泡刺种群,表明泡泡刺种群具有较宽的生态幅是比较古老的种群,其它类型的种群是在这一种群基础上发展起来的。优势种群的分布格局由种群生物学特性和环境条件等诸多因子共同决定,膜果麻黄和绵刺种群呈集群分布,而其它种群呈随机分布。优势种群的年龄结构和静态生命曲线均呈现多样化,膜果麻黄、猫头刺和甘蒙锦鸡儿种群年龄结构为增长型锥体,静态生命曲线为凹型下降,均为稳定种群;绵刺种群的年龄结构为下降型锥体,静态生命曲线为反对角线型上升,但其营养繁殖策略决定了绵刺种群为稳定种群;珍珠猪毛菜种群年龄结构在整体上为稳定型锥体,但局部表现为下降型锥体,种群开始衰败,静态生命曲线为正态分布型;红砂种群的年龄结构为下降型锥体,静态生命曲线残缺并有许多空白区,种群严重退化。  相似文献
