Macquaridrilus mcmurtrieae n. sp. is described from Campbell Island. This resembles the only other species in the genus, Macquaridrilus bennettae Jamieson, 1968, in most aspects, but shows significant differences in the anatomy of its genitalia. In particular, the spermathecal pores are dorsal rather than lateral, the spermathecae lack diverticulae, the ejaculatory duct is more stout and muscular, the vas deferens is shorter relative to other organs and the anterior prostate is compact rather than elongate. The presence of a cuticular sperm canal appears to be an apomorphy for the genus. The new species was collected from streams and tarns across the island. http://zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:652AF61D-CFB2-4D07-94C8-59E6FB549D5Fhttp://zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:984F2456-768D-48A1-87AD-4453768BAB8A 相似文献

Sabellidae species from the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Archipelago waters, including the North-eastern Atlantic Ocean and Cantabrian and westernmost Mediterranean Seas, were studied. The species Amphicorina rovignensis, Dialychone dunerificta, D. usticensis, Euchone cf. limnicola, Euchone cf. pseudolimnicola, Megalomma lanigera, Parasabella tenuicollaris and P. tommasi are recorded for the first time in the area. Bispira primaoculata sp. nov. is a newly described species for the Alborán Sea, characterized by having semicircular branchial lobes, rounded and long dorsal basal flanges, an axial skeleton composed of six longitudinal rows of vacuolated cells, up to three pairs of compound eyes per radiole mainly distributed in the distal half of the crown, appearing at the level of the dorsalmost pair of radioles, and a first chaetiger maximally twice as long as subsequent ones. New information about the habitats of A. rovignensis, D. dunerificta and M. lanigera is also provided. http://zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:377167DA-9F26-4FA3-9C26-07C5EF3EE66D 相似文献

Pomatoschistus anatoliae sp. n. is described from estuary of Göksu River on the Mediterranean coast of the Anatolia. It is distinguished from its congeners by the suborbital papilla pattern, meristic, and ecological features. DNA barcoding based on COI sequences revealed that there is a high nucleotide sequence divergence to the nearest neighbour. Kimura’s two parameter distances between P. anatoliae sp. n. and other species of Pomatoschistus and Knipowitchia have found to be at least 5.1%. http://www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:4592CF50-07B5-4C25-892F-5D009057675B 相似文献

The genus Pseudaeginella is analysed herein by cladistic methods based on a morphological data matrix of 49 characters × 18 terminal taxa. Based on the results, we comment on the phylogenetic position of Paradeutella within Pseudaeginella, and we propose Pseudaeginella multispinosa comb. nov. and Pseudaeginella tanzaniensis comb. nov. Pseudaeginella freirei sp. nov. is described from the Abrolhos Bank, north-eastern Brazil. We provide an updated key to the Pseudaeginella species. http://www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:F573E845-822E-41D6-8F58-FE54C5653A53 相似文献

A new leaf beetle species, Chrysolina ( Lopatinica) kabalaki sp. n., from Northeast Turkey is described and compared with closely related species. Habitus and male genitalia of the species are photographed. A key is provided for the species. http://www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:89CEE108-138D-4D38-837D-A8C3682BB773 相似文献

Four new micropterous species of the genus Sunius Curtis, 1829 are described and illustrated from western Anatolia: Sunius akdaghensis sp. n. from Kütahya province, Sunius ciceki sp. n. from Bal?kesir province, Sunius ozgeni sp. n. and Sunius cagatayi sp. n. from Denizli province. Additional records are presented for three species. The genus Sunius is now represented in Turkey by 36 species. http://www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:F3808D28-65E9-4619-A350-781C971701EC 相似文献
