In brown adipose tissue fragments from 10-day-old rats or adult hamsters and in cells isolated from 10-day-old rats, norepinephrine (NE) activated oxygen consumption by 300-400%. NE-induced respiration was stable for 60-120 min and was inhibited by reduction of the oxygen concentration in the medium much more than respiration induced by the addition of respiratory substrates.  相似文献

Isopropylnoradrenaline (ISO), 3',5'-AMP and dibutyryl-3',5'-AMP decreased the oxygen tension (pO2) in the liver and the spleen and increased the body oxygen consumption (VO2). Time dynamics of these two effects was closely correlated for ISO and 3',5'-AMP. An increase of heat output was not accompanied by any significant changes in the respiration coefficient. Pempidine and dihydroergotamine failed to prevent 3',5'-AMP effects; inderal somewhat decreased these effects. Apparently, the catecholamine influence upon pO2 was a result of the VO2 increase through 3'5'-AMP effects are largely direct, but they include the in vivo and beta-receptor component; 2',3'-AMP decreased pO2 and VO2.  相似文献

Oxygen phosphorescence quenching was used to measure tissue Po(2) of lymphatic vessels of 43.6 +/- 23.1 microm (mean +/- SD) diameter in tissue locations of the rat mesentery classified according to anatomic location. Lymph and adipose tissue Po(2) were 20.6 +/- 9.1 and 34.1 +/- 7.8 mmHg, respectively, with the difference being statistically significant. Rare microlymphatic vessels in connective tissue not surrounded by microvessels had a Po(2) of 0.8 +/- 0.2 mmHg, whereas the surrounding tissue Po(2) was 3.0 +/- 3.2 mmHg, with both values being significantly lower than those of adipose tissue. Lower of lymph fluid Po(2) relative to the surrounding tissue was also evident in paired measurements of Po(2) in the lymphatic vessels and perilymphatic adipose tissue, which was significantly lower than the Po(2) in paired adipose tissue. The Po(2) of the lymphatic fluid of the mesenteric microlymphatics is consistently lower than that of the surrounding adipose tissue by approximately 11 mmHg; therefore, lymph fluid has the lowest Po(2) of this tissue. The disparity between lymph and tissue Po(2) is attributed to the microlymphatic vessel wall and lymphocyte oxygen consumption.  相似文献

Immunomodulating properties of ceruloplasmin were determined in vivo on healthy mice line C57BL/6 and mice with Lewis carcinoma. The staining characteristics of the peripheral blood cells from mouse, rat, guinea pig, rabbit, dog, marmoset and monkey were studied. In marmoset, it is easy to distinguish neutrophils from eosinophils by using the phosphate-buffered solution of pH 5 or 6. It was found in the special staining methods that neutrophil granules showed intense peroxidase and Sudan black B reactions in marmoset in comparison with those in the other species of experimental animals. Neutrophil granules rabbit was, however, intensely stained with esterase and acid phosphatase.  相似文献

When administered parentally, lincomycin satisfactorily penetrated into the organs and tissues of experimental animals. The main task of the present study is to investigate the influences of normobaric gas mixture with lowered PO2 (90-110 mm Hg) on the bones metabolism in rats after hind limb unloaded (HLU). We observed increased the glycosaminoglicans (GAG) concentration in blood serum rats with hind limb unloaded in atmospheric air (AA). An increased activity of acid phosphatase (AcP) and tartratresistant acid phosphatase (TRAcP) in blood serum of rats after HLU was observed. The activities of the alkaline phosphatase (AIP) in blood serum did not change. An increased osteocalcin (OST) and C-terminal Propeptide of type I Collagen (CICP) concentration in blood serum, but parathyroid hormone (PTH) decrease comparatively with the control. The above mentioned biochemistry markers in animals after 28 days unloading in normobaric gas mixture (NGM) were more stable and in spite of the same procedure in AA, all dates were near to the controls.  相似文献

We investigated intestinal oxygen supply and mucosal tissue PO2 during administration of increasing dosages of continuously infused arginine vasopressin (AVP) in an autoperfused, innervated jejunal segments in anesthetized pigs. Mucosal tissue PO2 was measured by employing two Clark-type surface oxygen electrodes. Oxygen saturation of jejunal microvascular hemoglobin was determined by tissue reflectance spectrophotometry. Microvascular blood flow was assessed by laser-Doppler velocimetry. Systemic hemodynamic variables, mesenteric venous and systemic acid-base and blood gas variables, and lactate measurements were recorded. Measurements were performed at baseline and at 20-min intervals during incremental AVP infusion (n = 8; 0.007, 0.014, 0.029, 0.057, 0.114, and 0.229 IU.kg(-1).h(-1), respectively) or infusion of saline (n=8). AVP infusion led to a significant (P < .05), dose-dependent decrease in cardiac index (from 121 +/- 31 to 77 +/- 27 ml.kg(-1).min(-1) at 0.229 IU.kg(-1).h(-1)) and systemic oxygen delivery (from 14 +/- 3 to 9 +/- 3 ml.kg(-1).min(-1) at 0.229 IU.kg(-1).h(-1)) concomitant with an increase in systemic oxygen extraction ratio (from 31 +/- 4 to 48 +/- 10%). AVP decreased microvascular blood flow (from 133 +/- 47 to 82 +/- 35 perfusion units at 0.114 IU.kg(-1).h(-1)), mucosal tissue PO2 (from 26 +/- 7 to 7 +/- 2 mmHg at 0.229 IU.kg(-1).h(-1)), and microvascular hemoglobin oxygen saturation (from 51 +/- 9 to 26 +/- 12% at 0.229 IU.kg(-1).h(-1)) without a significant increase in mesenteric venous lactate concentration (2.3 +/- 0.8 vs. 3.4 +/- 0.7 mmol/l). We conclude that continuously infused AVP decreases intestinal oxygen supply and mucosal tissue PO2 due to a reduction in microvascular blood flow and due to the special vascular supply in the jejunal mucosa in a dose-dependent manner in pigs.  相似文献
