【目的】本研究旨在探究饵料蛋白质水平对德国小蠊Blattella germanica营养利用及氮代谢的影响,为蟑螂毒饵的研发提供新思路。【方法】采用标准重量分析法评估了取食4种不同蛋白质水平(5%, 25%, 45%和65%)饵料的德国小蠊雄成虫营养效率指数和氮利用率;利用分光光度法测定了取食不同蛋白水平饵料的德国小蠊雄成虫体内黄嘌呤氧化酶(xanthine oxidase, XOD)、谷草转氨酶(glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, GOT)、谷丙转氨酶(glutamic pyruvic transaminase, GPT)活性及尿酸含量。【结果】取食65%蛋白质饵料组的德国小蠊雄成虫的相对取食量最高,而取食45%蛋白质饵料组的雄成虫食物利用率、食物转化率及相对生长率均显著高于取食5%和65%蛋白质饵料组的雄成虫。且德国小蠊雄成虫体内氮、粪便氮、氮消耗速率、氮排泄率、氮生成率、氮同化效率、黄嘌呤氧化酶活性和尿酸含量均随饵料蛋白质水平的提高而提高,但65%蛋白质饵料组氮利用率最低,45%蛋白质饵料组谷草转氨酶活性最高,25%和45%蛋白质饵料组谷丙转氨酶活性显著高于5%和65%蛋白质饵料组。【结论】适量蛋白质饵料有利于德国小蠊对食物及氮的利用,而高蛋白质含量条件下德国小蠊谷草转氨酶和谷丙转氨酶活性下降,说明高蛋白不利于德国小蠊利用食物,且增加其代谢负担。  相似文献

A feeding study was conducted to investigate how fish protein hydrolysate (FPH) supplementation affected the growth, feed utilization, body composition, and hematology of juvenile giant trevally (Caranx ignobilis Forsskal, 1775). Seven isonitrogenous (52% protein) and isocaloric diets (10% lipid) were formulated, wherein shrimp hydrolysate (SH) and tuna hydrolysate (TH) were used to replace fishmeal at inclusion levels of 0 (control), 30, 60, and 90 g/kg and labeled as control, SH30, SH60, SH90, TH30, TH60, and TH90, respectively. Each diet was fed to triplicate groups of juvenile giant trevally for 8 weeks. The results showed higher final body weight and specific growth rate in fish fed SH30, SH60, TH30, and TH60 than fed control diet. No difference was observed in feed intake, but reduced feed conversion ratio (FCR) was found in fish fed SH30, SH60, TH30, and TH60, demonstrating these diets improved feed utilization. TH90 caused deposition of lipid droplet in the hepatocyte, a sign of liver damage. Total monounsaturated fatty acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), and highly unsaturated fatty acids in fish were not affected by FPH supplementation. Fish fed TH30 showed lower ∑n − 3 PUFA than the fish fed remaining dietary treatments. The elevated serum protein was seen in fish fed control, SH30, SH60, and TH30, demonstrating that these diets were beneficial for the innate immune response in giant trevally. The results indicate that TH and SH could be incorporated into diets of giant trevally at 30–60 g/kg, replacing 7%–13% fishmeal with enhanced growth and health benefits.  相似文献

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate effects on nutritional responses of supplemental DL-methionine and 2-hydroxy-4-(methylthio) butanoic acid (HMTBA) in a commercial-type diet in growing dogs. A nitrogen balance study was conducted as a randomized complete block design using 30 Pointer puppies (72-d-old; 5.5 kg). A corn and poultry byproduct meal based diet was supplemented with 0.1 or 0.2% DL-methionine or HMTBA on an equimolar basis. Organic matter and gross energy tended (p < 0.10) to be less digestible by dogs fed the 0.1% HMTBA diet compared with the 0.2% DL-methionine diet, but other nutrients were unaffected. Postprandial urinary calcium tended (p < 0.10) to be lower for the basal and HMTBA treatments. Fecal ammonia tended (p < 0.10) to be lower for the 0.1% HMTBA diet than for the 0.2% DL-methionine diet. At the levels tested, DL-methionine and HMTBA appear to act similarly when included in a corn and poultry by-product meal diet fed to young dogs.  相似文献

Abstract. Data are presented on the development from egg to adult of a wild-type and an albino strain of the spider mite Tetranychus urticae on a semi-synthetic liquid diet.The diet is a modification of the diet developed by Van der Geest et al. (1983).Apart from the standard diet without added carotenoids, diets supplemented with either β-carotene or vitamin A were tested.A high incidence of diapause was found in the wild-type strain under short-day conditions on all three diets.No diapause was found in the albino mutant under short days on the standard diet.Partial restoration of the photoperiodic response was obtained after addition of β-carotene to the diet, and full restoration was found after the addition of vitamin A.Diapause could be terminated in diet-reared diapausing females of both strains after a cold rest of 3 weeks at 4°C.The results lead to the conclusion that vitamin A or a derivative of vitamin A probably functions as the photoreceptor pigment for the photoperiodic induction of diapause in the spider mite.  相似文献

The levels of immunoreactive dynorphin A(1–8) (ir-DYN8) were measured in discrete brain regions of lean Zucker rats subjected to food deprivation for 72 hr and to a high fat diet, and in fatty Zucker rats after food deprivation for 72 hr. Fatty rats showed higher concentrations of ir-DYN8 in the cortex and midbrain, when compared to lean rats fed a stock diet ad lib. Food deprivation increased ir-DYN8 levels in the cortex of lean rats and fatty rats and in the hippocampus of fatty rats, but decreased its content in the striatum of lean rats and in the midbrain of fatty rats. The high fat diet increased ir-DYN8 levels in the cortex and midbrain of lean rats. These results suggest that ir-DYN8 levels in extrahypothalamic structures of Zucker rats could be differentially modified under conditions of hereditary obesity and dietary manipulations.  相似文献

In vertebrates, fibrinolysis is primarily carried out by the serine protease plasmin (Pm), which is derived from activation of the zymogen precursor, plasminogen (Pg). One of the most distinctive features of Pg/Pm is the presence of five homologous kringle (K) domains. These structural elements possess conserved Lys-binding sites (LBS) that facilitate interactions with substrates, activators, inhibitors and receptors. In human Pg (hPg), K2 displays weak Lys affinity, however the LBS of this domain has been implicated in an atypical interaction with the N-terminal region of a bacterial surface protein known as PAM (Pg-binding group A streptococcal M-like protein). A direct correlation has been established between invasiveness of group A streptococci and their ability to bind Pg. It has been previously demonstrated that a 30-residue internal peptide (VEK-30) from the N-terminal region of PAM competitively inhibits binding of the full-length parent protein to Pg. We have attempted to determine the effects of this ligand–protein interaction on the regulation of Pg zymogen activation and conformation. Our results show minimal effects on the sedimentation velocity coefficients (S°20,w) of Pg when associated to VEK-30 and a direct relationship between the concentration of VEK-30 or PAM and the activation rate of Pg. These results are in contrast with the major conformational changes elicited by small-molecule activators of Pg, and point towards a novel mechanism of Pg activation that may underlie group A streptococcal (GAS) virulence.  相似文献

Despite cyclopenta-fused polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (CP-PAHs) have been detected in the environment, the ability of CP-PAH to induce cellular and tissue responses remains poorly characterized. In this study, xenoestrogen-associated responses (mRNA levels of estrogen receptor alpha, ERalpha, and zona radiata protein, Zrp) and xenobiotic effects (CYP1A mRNA) have been investigated in liver of juvenile rainbow trout after short-term treatment (8 and 24 h) with following compounds administered singly: cyclopenta[c]phenanthrene (CP[c]Ph); its derivatives, 5A-CP[c]Ph; 5A6M-CP[c]Ph; 5A9M-CP[c]Ph; B[c]Ph, a structurally similar polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon; B[a]P, a model CYP1A inducer; and zearalenone (ZEA), naturally occurring ligand for ER. The CYP1A mRNA expression after 24 h of exposure with CP[c]Ph or its derivatives, except 5A9M-CP[c]Ph, was 3-9-fold higher compared to controls (P<0.05), but it was less than that caused by B[a]P (65-fold up regulation; P<0.01). Moreover, neither of the CP-PAH compounds modulated liver ERalpha or Zrp mRNA levels as compared to effects associated with ZEA. Interestingly, a treatment with this ER-ligand, caused moderate but significant increase of CYP1A mRNA expression (about 2.5-fold; P<0.05). The finding that ZEA is capable of acting as either estrogenic and xenobiotic compound, should be further explored in a more detailed and differently designed experiment.  相似文献
