Chemiluminescence (CL) of a cyclometallated iridium (III) complex {tris[1‐(2,6‐dimethylphenoxy)‐4‐(4‐chlorophenyl)phthalazine]iridium(III)} in the presence of potassium permanganate and oxalic acid is reported for the first time. Cysteine exhibits sufficient enhancing effect on the CL generated from the cyclometallated iridium(III) complex, which make it possible for the sensitive detection of cysteine using a flow‐injection–chemiluminescence (FI–CL) method. The optimum conditions for the chemiluminescence emission were investigated. Under the optimal condition, the linear range for the determination of cysteine was 1.0 × 10–9–5.0 × 10–6 mol/L with a detection limit of 6.9 × 10–10 mol/L. A relative standard deviation of 1.6% was obtained for eight replicate determinations. The mechanisms of CL are proposed and the emitting species was identified as the metal‐to‐ligand charge‐transfer (MLCT) excited states of the iridium complex. A novel flow injection analysis‐direct chemiluminescence (FI‐CL) method has been developed for determination of trace amounts of dopamine (DA) based on the enhancing effect of DA on the CL reaction of luminol with an Ag(III) complex in alkaline solution. Under optimum conditions, CL intensities are proportional to the concentration of DA in the range of 1.0 × 10?10 to 4.0 × 10?8 mol L?1. The detection limit is 3.0 × 10?11 mol L?1 for DA (3s), with a relative standard deviation (n = 13) of 2.3% for 1.0 × 10?8 mol L?1 DA. This method has also been applied for the determination of DA in commercial pharmaceutical injection samples. On the basis of the CL spectra and the results of the free‐radical trapping experiment of this work, a reaction mechanism for this CL reaction is proposed and discussed. A simple, fast and accurate chemiluminescence (CL) method for the determination of sulphite has been developed, based on its sensitizing effect on the CL reaction between a novel water‐soluble iridium complex, [(dpci)2Ir(bvbbi)](PF6) (dpci = 3,4‐diphenylcinnoline; bvbbi = N,N′‐bivinylester‐1H,1′H‐[2,2′] bibenzimidazole) and cerium(IV). Under the optimal experimental conditions, the increased CL response was linear, with the concentration of sulphite over the range 5.0 × 10–7–5.0 × 10–4 mol/L. The detection limit of the method was 1.6 × 10–7 mol/L, with a relative standard deviation (RSD) of 2.7% for nine repetitive determination of 1.0 × 10–4 mol/L sulphite. The method was successfully applied to the quantitative analysis of sulphite in sugar samples. The possible reaction mechanism of sulphite on the [(dpci)2Ir(bvbbi)](PF6)–cerium(IV) system is also briefly discussed. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, the novel trivalent copper–periodate complex {K5[Cu(HIO6)2], DPC} has been applied in a luminol‐based chemiluminescence (CL) reaction. Coupled with flow injection (FI) technology, the FI‐CL method was proposed for the determination of lincomycin hydrochloride. The CL reaction between luminol and DPC occurred in an alkaline medium. The CL intensity could be greatly enhanced by lincomycin hydrochloride. The relative CL intensity was proportional to the concentration of lincomycin hydrochloride in the range of 1 × 10?8 to 5 × 10?6 g mL?1 and the detection limit was at the 3.5 × 10?9 g mL?1 level. The relative standard deviation at 5 × 10?8 g mL?1 was 1.7% (n = 9). The sensitive method was successfully applied to the direct determination of lincomycin hydrochloride (ng mL?1) in serum. A possible mechanism of the lumonol–DPC CL reaction was discussed by the study of the CL kinetic characteristics and the spectra of CL reaction. The oxidability of DPC was studied by means of its electrochemical response. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Based on the inhibition effect of rutin on the luminol–hydrogen peroxide chemiluminescence (CL) system catalyzed by tetrasulfonated colbalt phthalocyanine (CoTSPc), a sensitive flow‐injection CL method has been developed for the determination of rutin. The CL reaction mechanism was carefully investigated by examining CL emission spectra, UV–visible spectra and variation of reaction conditions. It was found that there existed a linear relationship between CL intensity and the concentration of rutin in the range of 8.0 × 10?9 to 1.0 × 10?6 mol L?1, and the detection limit is 3.8 × 10?9 mol L?1. This proposed method is sensitive, convenient and simple, and has been applied to the determination of rutin in commercial rutin tablets with satisfactory results. Ultra‐weak chemiluminescence (CL) from the reaction of iodide and KMnO4 was strongly enhanced by carbon nanodots (CNDs) in an acidic medium. The CL intensity was directly proportional to the concentration of iodide in the solution. Therefore, a flow‐injection CL system with high sensitivity, selectivity and reproducibility is proposed for the determination of iodide. The proposed method exhibited advantages over a linear range of 3.0 × 10?6–1.0 × 10?4 mol/L and had a detection limit of 3.5 × 10?7 mol/L. The method was successfully applied to the evaluation of iodide in food samples with recoveries of between 96 and 103%. The relative standard deviations were 2.1 and 4.1% for intra‐ and inter‐assay precision, respectively.  相似文献

The main purpose of this study was to develop an inexpensive, simple, rapid and sensitive chemiluminescence (CL) method for the determination of glutamine (Gln) using a flow‐injection (FI) system. Gln was found to strongly inhibit the CL signal of the luminol–H2O2–CuSO4 system in Na2B4O7 solution. A new FI‐CL method was developed for the determination of Gln. Parameters affecting the reproducibility and CL detection were optimized systematically. Under the optimized conditions, the corresponding linear regression equation was established over the range of 5.0 × 10?7 to 2.5 × 10?6 mol/L with the detection limit of 1.8 × 10?8 mol/L. The relative standard deviation was found to be 1.8% for 11 replicate determinations of 1.5 × 10?6 mol/L Gln. The proposed method has been satisfactorily applied for the determination of Gln in real samples (Marzulene‐s granules) with recoveries in the range of 98.7–108.6%. The minimum sampling rate was about 100 samples/h. The possible mechanism of this inhibitory CL was studied by fluorescence spectrophotometer and UV–vis spectrophotometer. A new chemiluminescence (CL) reaction was observed when chloramphenicol solution was injected into the mixture after the end of the reaction of alkaline luminol and sodium periodate or sodium periodate was injected into the reaction mixture of chloramphenicol and alkaline luminol. This reaction is described as an order‐transform second‐chemiluminescence (OTSCL) reaction. The OTSCL method combined with a flow‐injection technique was applied to the determination of chloramphenicol. The optimum conditions for the order‐transform second‐chemiluminescence emission were investigated. A mechanism for OTSCL has been proposed on the basis of the chemiluminescence kinetic characteristics, the UV‐visible spectra and the chemiluminescent spectra. Under optimal experimental conditions, the CL response is proportional to the concentration of chloramphenicol over the range 5.0 × 10?7–5.0 × 10?5 mol/L with a correlation coefficient of 0.9969 and a detection limit of 6.0 × 10?8 mol/L (3σ). The relative standard deviation (RSD) for 11 repeated determinations of 5.0 × 10?6 mol/L chloramphenicol is 1.7%. The method has been applied to the determination of chloramphenicol in pharmaceutical samples with satisfactory results. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A post‐chemiluminescence (PCL) phenomenon was observed when chloramphenicol was injected into a mixture of luminol and potassium periodate after the chemiluminescence (CL) reaction of luminol–potassium periodate had finished. The possible reaction mechanism was proposed based on studies of the CL kinetic characteristics, the CL spectra, the fluorescence spectra and the UV‐vis absorption spectra of the related substances. Based on the PCL reaction, a rapid and sensitive method for the determination of chloramphenicol was established. The linear response range was 6.0 × 10?7–1.0 × 10?5 mol/L, with a correlation coefficient of 0.9986. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for 5.0 × 10?6 mol/L chloramphenicol was 2.3% (n = 11). The detection limit was 1.6 × 10?7 mol/L. The method has been applied to the determination of chloramphenicol in pharmaceutical samples with satisfactory results. A rapid and sensitive flow‐injection chemiluminescence (FI–CL) method is described for the determination of diazepam based on its reaction with N‐bromosuccinimide (NBS) in alkaline medium in the presence of dichlorofluorescein (DCF) as an effective energy‐transfer agent. Under optimum conditions, the proposed method allowed the measurement of diazepam over the range of 2.0 × 10?6 to 2.0 × 10?4 mol/L with a detection limit of 5.0 × 10?7 mol/L. The relative standard deviation for 11 parallel measurements of 2.0 × 10?5 mol/L diazepam was 2.1%. The method was applied satisfactorily for the determination of diazepam in pharmaceutical preparations, and the results agree well with those obtained by spectrophotometry. The use of the proposed system for the determination of diazepam in urine and plasma samples was also tested. The possible mechanism of the chemiluminescence reaction is discussed briefly. The chemiluminescence (CL) behaviour of the luminol–potassium periodate system enhanced by CdTe quantum dots capped with thioglycolic acid (TGA–CdTe QDs) was studied using kinetic experiments, CL spectra, UV–vis absorption spectra and fluorescence spectra. The production of oxygen‐containing reactant intermediates (O2?? and OH?) in the present CL system was verified by CL. The possible CL mechanism was discussed in detail. Furthermore, theophylline (THP) was determined based on its enhancement of the CL intensity of the CdTe QDs–luminol–potassium periodate system coupled with a flow‐injection technique. Under these optimized conditions, the linear range was found to be from 1.0 × 10?8 to 1.0 × 10?5 g/mL with a detection limit of 2.8 × 10?9 g/mL (3σ). The recoveries for the determination of THP in tablets were from 98.2 to 99.6%.  相似文献

A novel, sensitive and rapid CL method coupled with high‐performance liquid chromatography separation for the determination of carbamazepine is described. The method was based on the fact that carbamazepine could significantly enhance the chemiluminescence of the reaction of cerium sulfate and tris(2,2‐bipyridyl) ruthenium(II) in the presence of acid. The chromatographic separation was performed on a Kromasil® (Sigma‐Aldrich) TM RP‐C18 column (id: 150 mm × 4.6 mm, particle size: 5 µm, pore size: 100 Å) with a mobile phase consisting of methanol–water‐glacial acetic acid (70:29:1, v/v/v) at a flowrate of 1.0 mL/min, the total analysis time was within 650 s. Under optimal conditions, CL intensity was linear for carbamazepine in the range 2.0 × 10?8 ~ 4.0 × 10?5 g/mL, with a detection limit of 6.0 × 10?9 g/mL (S/N = 3) and the relative standard detection was 2.5% for 2.0 × 10?6 g/mL (n = 11). This method was successfully applied to the analysis of carbamazepine in human urine and serum samples. The possible mechanism of the CL reaction is also discussed briefly. A novel chemiluminescence (CL) method was developed for the determination of 10‐hydroxycamptothecin(HCPT) based on the CL reaction between [Ag(HIO6)2]5? and luminol in alkaline solution. CL emission of Ag(III) complex–luminol in alkaline medium was very different from that in acidic medium. A possible mechanism of enhanced CL emission was suggested. The enhanced effect of HCPT on CL emission of the [Ag(HIO6)2]5?–luminol system was found. The enhanced degree of CL emission was proportional to HCPT concentration. The effect of the reaction conditions on CL emission was examined. Under optimal conditions, the limit of detection was 6.5 × 10?9 g mL?1. The proposed method was applied for the determination of HCPT in real samples with the recoveries of 93.2–109% with the RSD of 1.7–3.3%. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A rapid and simple capillary electrophoresis method coupled with chemiluminescent (CL) detection was proposed for analysis of isoniazid (ISO) based on the enhancement effect of ISO to CL emission of luminol‐periodate potassium reaction. Under the optimal conditions, ISO can be assayed in the range of 7.0 × 10?7 to 3.0 × 10?5 g mL?1 (R2 = 0.9990) with a limit of detection of 3.0 × 10?7 g mL?1 (signal‐to‐noise ratio of 3). The whole analysis process can be completed within 2.5 min with a theoretical plate number of 6258. The relative standard deviations of the signal intensity and the migration time were 3.1 and 1.4% for a standard sample at 1.0 × 10?5 g mL?1 (n = 5), respectively. The presented novel strategy was successfully applied to the determination of ISO in commercial pharmaceutical preparations and spiked human serum samples. Based on the catalytic activity of hemin, an efficient biocatalyst, an indirect capillary electrophoresis–chemiluminescence (CE‐CL) detection method for phenols using a hemin–luminol–hydrogen peroxide system was developed. Through a series of static injection experiments, hemin was found to perform best in a neutral solution rather than an acidic or alkaline medium. Although halide ions such as Br? and F? could further enhance the CL signal catalyzed by hemin, it is difficult to apply these conditions to this CE‐CL detection system because of the self‐polymerization of hemin, as it hinders the CE process. The addition of concentrated ammonium hydroxide to an aqueous/dimethyl sulfoxide solution of hemin–luminol afforded a stable CE‐CL baseline. The indirect CE‐CL detection of five phenols using this method gave the following limits of detections: 4.8 × 10?8 mol/L (o‐sec‐butylphenol), 4.9 × 10?8 mol/L (o‐cresol), 5.4 × 10?8 mol/L (m‐cresol), 5.3 × 10?8 mol/L (2,4‐dichlorophenol) and 7.1 × 10?8 mol/L (phenol). Capecitabine is a chemotherapeutic agent used for the treatment of patients with metastatic cancers. This study aimed at determining the drug capecitabine in a simple chemiluminescence (CL) system of acidic potassium permanganate using the stopped‐flow injection technique. Statistical methods were used to detect optimum conditions. The method showed two linear calibration ranges from 6.7 × 10?6 to 6.7 × 10?5 mol L?1 and from 6.7 × 10?5 to 2.7 × 10?3 mol L?1 with a detection limit of 1.5 × 10?6 mol L?1. Chitosan‐modified magnetic nanoparticles were studied in the drug‐delivery experiments. According to the pH sensitivity of chitosan and low pH values in tumour cells, the chitosan‐coated magnetic nanoparticles could provide a good targeting drug‐delivery system to tumour sites. To evaluate the applicability of the method, the capecitabine‐loaded magnetic chitosan nanoparticles were synthesized with two different cross‐linkers; loading and releasing rates of the drug were investigated using the proposed CL method and an ultraviolet–visible light spectrophotometric method (absorption at 305 nm). The results showed a good correlation between the two methods, and it was found that the synthesized chitosan‐modified magnetic nanoparticles could be used for pH‐dependent release of capecitabine in cancer cells. Moreover, determination of capecitabine in tablets and synthetic samples was performed.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive flow injection chemiluminescence (FI‐CL) method was developed for the determination of naphazoline hydrochloride (NPZ). The method is based on the enhancing effect of NPZ on the weak CL signal from the reaction of KIO4 with H2O2. Experimental parameters that affected the CL signal, including the pH of the KIO4 solution, concentrations of KIO4, H2O2 and disodium‐EDTA and flow rate were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the increment of CL intensity was linearly proportional to the concentration of NPZ in the range 5.0 × 10?6 to 70 × 10?6 mol/L. The detection limit was 1.0 × 10?6 mol/L and the relative standard deviation for 50 × 10?6 mol/L NPZ solution was 2.8% (n = 11). In addition, a high throughput of 120 samples/h was achieved. The utility of this method was demonstrated by determining NPZ in pharmaceuticals. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A highly sensitive flow‐injection chemiluminescence (FIA‐CL) method based on the CdTe nanocrystals and potassium permanganate chemiluminescence system was developed for the determination of l ‐ascorbic acid. It was found that sodium hexametaphosphate (SP), as an enhancer, could increase the chemiluminescence (CL) emission from the redox reaction of CdTe quantum dots with potassium permanganate in near‐neutral pH conditions. l ‐Ascorbic acid is suggested as a sensitive enhancer for use in the above energy‐transfer excitation process. Under optimal conditions, the calibration graph of emission intensity against logarithmic l ‐ascorbic acid concentration was linear in the range 1.0 × 10?9–5.0 × 10?6 mol/L, with a correlation coefficient of 0.9969 and relative standard deviation (RSD) of 2.3% (n = 7) at 5.0 × 10?7 mol/L. The method was successfully used to determine l ‐ascorbic acid in vitamin C tablets. The possible mechanism of the chemiluminescence in the system is also discussed. A rapid and sensitive flow injection chemiluminescence (FI–CL) method is described for the determination of 2‐methoxyestradiol (2ME) based on enhancement of the CL intensity from a potassium ferricyanide–calcein system in sodium hydroxide medium. The optimum conditions for the CL emission were investigated. Under optimized conditions, a linear calibration graph was obtained over the range 1.0 × 10‐8 to 1.0 × 10‐6 mol/L (r = 0.998) 2ME with a detection limit (3σ) of 5.4 × 10‐9 mol/L. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for 5.0 × 10‐7 mol/L 2ME was 1.7%. As a preliminary application, the proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of 2ME in injection solutions and serum samples. The possible CL mechanism was also proposed. A novel flow‐injection chemiluminescence (FI‐CL) analysis method for the determination of gemifloxacin in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) surfactant micelles is described. Strong CL signal was generated during the reaction of gemifloxacin with diperiodatoargentate (III) in a sulfuric acid medium sensitized by CTAB. Under optimum experimental conditions, the CL intensity was linearly related to the concentration of gemifloxacin from 1.0 × 10‐9 to 3.0 × 10‐7 g/mL and the detection limit was 7.3 × 10‐10 g/mL (3σ). The relative standard deviation (RSD) was 1.7 % for a 3.0 × 10‐8 g/mL gemifloxacin solution (11 repeated measurements). The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of gemifloxacin in pharmaceutical preparations and biological fluids. The possible mechanism of the CL reaction is also discussed briefly. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
