In this work, a comprehensive study on the chemical constituents of the aerial parts of Rosmarinus eriocalyx (Lamiaceae), an aromatic shrub traditionally consumed as a food and herbal remedy in Algeria, is presented. The aroma profile was analysed by headspace solid phase microextraction (HS‐SPME) coupled with gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (GC/MS), whereas the crude extract constituents were analyzed by 1H‐NMR and by high performance liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (HPLC/MSn). Thirty‐nine volatile compounds, most of them being monoterpenes, have been identified, with camphor, camphene, and α‐pinene as the most abundant constituents. 1H‐NMR analysis revealed the presence of phenolic compounds and betulinic acid while HPLC/MSn allowed the identification of glycosilated and aglyconic flavonoids as well as phenylpropanoid derivatives. Some of these constituents, namely as betulinic acid, rosmanol, and cirsimaritin were reported for the first time in Reriocalyx.  相似文献

Intermediate and high boiling neutral compounds in the aroma concentrate from black tea were isolated by fractional distillation, silica-gel column chromatography and gas chromatography.

Identification of the compounds was verified by the agreement of IR and mass spectra as well as gas chromatographic data with those of authentic compounds.

Eleven compounds; α-muurolene, δ-cadinene, furfuryl alcohol, methyl phenyl carbinol, cadinenol, geranial, pyrrole-2-aldehyde, benzyl formate, phenylethyl formate, cis-3-hexenyl benzoate and indole, were newly identified as constituents of black tea aroma and ten known components; α-terpineol, 3, 7-dimethyl-l, 5, 7-octatrien-3-ol, trans, trans-2, 4-decadienal, 2-phenyl-2-butenal, α- and β-ionone, cis-jasmone, theaspirone, lactone of 2-hydroxy-2, 6, 6-trimethylcyclohexylidene-l-acetic acid and phenylacetonitrile were confirmed. The geometric structure of theaspirone in tea aroma was determined as the cis-form.  相似文献

Nine new β-resorcylic acid derivatives, (15S)-de-O-methyllasiodiplodin ( 1 ), (13S,15S)-13-hydroxy-de-O-methyllasiodiplodin ( 2 ), (14S,15S)-14-hydroxy-de-O-methyllasiodiplodin ( 3 ), (13R,14S,15S)-13,14-dihydroxy-de-O-methyllasiodiplodin ( 4 ), ethyl (S)-2,4-dihydroxy-6-(8-hydroxynonyl)benzoate ( 5 ), ethyl 2,4-dihydroxy-6-(8-hydroxyheptyl)benzoate ( 6 ), ethyl 2,4-dihydroxy-6-(4-methoxycarbonylbutyl)benzoate ( 7 ), 3-(2-ethoxycarbonyl-3,5-dihydroxyphenyl)propionic acid ( 8 ), and isobutyl (S)-2,4-dihydroxy-6-(8-hydroxynonyl)benzoate ( 9 ), together with a known ethyl 2,4-dihydroxy-6-(8-oxononyl)benzoate ( 10 ) were obtained from Lasiodiplodia theobromae GC-22. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analyses. Compounds 1 , 3 , and 6 showed growth inhibitory effects against Digitaria ciliaris. Conversely, treatment with compounds 5 , 6 , 7 , 9 , and 10 stimulated elongation activity toward the root of Lactuca sativa. These data expand the repertoire of new β-resorcylic acid derivatives that may function as lead compounds in the synthesis of new agrochemical agents.  相似文献

Neutral constituents of volatiles in the ether extract of cultured broth of Sporobolomyces odorus AHU 3246 were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and other methods.

Identified compounds were as follows: Methyl, ethyl, isobutyl, n-butyl, isoamyl, n-amyl, benzyl, and β-phenylethyl alcohol; formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, benzaldehyde, phenyl-acetaldehyde, acetone, and methyl ethyl ketone; ethyl formate, ethyl acetate, and di-n-butyl phthalate; γ-decalactone (4-decanolide) and 4-hydroxy-cis-dodecenoic acid γ-lactone (cis-6-dodecen-4-olide). Di-n-butyl phthalate and parts of methyl, ethyl, and n-butyl alcohol and ethyl acetate were thought to be contaminants. γ-Lactones produced by the yeast were determined by GLC.

Although nine strains of six species of carotenoid pigment accumulating yeasts were cultured under the same conditions, neither flavorful smelling nor γ-lactone production detected in their cultured broths.  相似文献

Volatile aroma compounds are synthesized by wine yeast during wine fermentation. In this study the volatile aroma composition of two varieties of mango wine were determined to differentiate and characterize the wines. The wine was produced from the fruits of two varieties of mango cultivars namely Banginapalli and Alphonso. The volatile compounds formed in mango wine were analyzed by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Thirty-two volatile compounds in wines were determined of which four were new and unidentified present in lower concentration. Apart from the ethanol (8.5 ± 0.28 and 7.2 ± 0.28% v/v), 1-propanol (54.11 ± 0.33 and 42.32 ± 0.57 mg/l), isobutyl alcohol (102 ± 1.57 and 115.14 ± 2.88 mg/l) and isoamyl alcohol (123 ± 2.88 and 108.40 ± 0.23 mg/1) were found to be the major flavouring higher alcohols in the mango wines produced from the fruits of Banginapalli and Alphonso respectively. Ethyl acetate (35 ± 0.57 and 30.42 ±1.15 mg/l) was the major ester component in both wines produced. Besides, other esters like ethyl octonoate, ethyl hexanoate and ethyl decanoate were also present in the wines. Cyclohexane methanol (1.45 ± 0.11 mg/l) was present only in wine made from Banginapalli and β-phenylethyl butanoate (0.62 ± 0.01 mg/1) was found only in Alphonso wine. The results demonstrate that the wine prepared from Banginapalli variety had better aroma composition and good taste than that from the Alphonso variety.  相似文献

Phycologists have hypothesized that the diminutive fronds produced by species in the genera Chiharaea and Yamadaia, which are composed of comparatively few genicula and intergenicula, represent morphological intermediates in the evolution of articulated corallines from crustose ancestors. We test this “intermediate frond hypothesis” by comparing rbcL sequences from the generitype species Chiharaea bodegensis and Yamadaia melobesioides to sequences from other coralline genera. We demonstrate that Chiharaea includes two other NE Pacific species, Arthrocardia silvae and Yamadaia americana. Chiharaea species are characterized morphologically by inflated intergenicula and axial conceptacles with apical or acentric pores. Although relationships among the three species are unresolved, Chiharaea bodegensis, C. americana comb. nov., and C. silvae comb. nov. are distinguished from one another by DNA sequences, morphology, habitat, and biogeography. Chiharaea occurs together with Alatocladia, Bossiella, Calliarthron, and Serraticardia macmillanii in a strongly supported clade of nearly endemic north Pacific articulated coralline genera and species that have evolved relatively recently compared to other articulated corallines. In contrast, NW Pacific Yamadaia melobesioides belongs in a clade with Corallina officinalis, the generitype species of Corallina, and therefore we reduce Yamadia to a synonym of Corallina and propose Corallina melobesioides comb. nov. We reject the ‘intermediate frond hypothesis’ and conclude that Chiharaea and Yamadaia are recently derived taxa that evolved from articulated coralline ancestors and represent a reduction in the number of genicula and intergenicula.  相似文献

Some Liagora and Izziella distributed in Taiwan display a wide range of morphological variation and can be difficult to distinguish. To clarify species concepts, we applied DNA sequence analyses and examined carposporophyte development in detail. These studies revealed two new species, which are described herein as Izziella hommersandii sp. nov. and Izziella kuroshioensis sp. nov. I. kuroshioensis superficially resembles Izziella formosana and Izziella orientalis in that its involucral filaments subtend rather than surround the lower portion of the gonimoblast mass (= Izziella type) and a fusion cell is formed from cells of the carpogonial branch, but it can be separated by differences in the cell numbers and branching pattern of the involucral filaments, as well as thallus morphology. In contrast to other species that also bear short lateral branchlets, I. hommersandii is unique in possessing a mixture of short and long involucral filaments, a phenomenon not reported before. The length of the involucral filaments is species specific among species of Izziella and contrasts to the behavior of the involucral filaments after fertilization in species such as “Liagorasetchellii [= Titanophycus setchellii comb. nov.], in which the filaments completely envelop the gonimoblast. In addition, the cells of the carpogonial branch in Titanophycus do not fuse after fertilization to form a fusion cell. Thus, a combination of characters with respect to the behavior of the carpogonial branch and the involucral filaments after fertilization is very useful for delineating species boundaries in Izziella and for separating Titanophycus from Izziella and Liagora.  相似文献

Microbial diversity of pit mud (PM) plays a significant role in Baijiu's flavour. Here we explored the microbial community structures and aroma substances of Wenwang Winery with high-throughput sequencing coupling with headspace solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. We discovered that the odorant was mainly derived from 14 aroma compounds because of their OAVs ≥ 1 (OAV, the ratio of substance concentration to aroma threshold; s, on behalf of the plural), such as ethyl hexanoate (2438), ethyl octanoate (975), caproic acid (52) and etc. Moreover we also revealed that Lactobacillaceae (97·08%) was the mainly bacterial microbial community in 2-year-old PM, companied by the primarily fungi including Aspergillaceae (55·45%), Unclassified Ascomycota (11·13%) and Dipodascaceae (5·72%). Compared with the 2-year-old PM, bacterial floras in 20-year-old PM and 30-year-old PM were more abundant (i.e. Dysgonomonadaceae, Clostridium and Synerggstaceas), while no fungi were detected. Besides, the physicochemical analysis showed that the content of Lactobacillaceae was inversely associated with moisture, pH and ammonia nitrogen. By further Spearman's correlation coefficient analysis, we verified that the content of Lactobacillaceae was positively correlated with ethyl hexanoate, while negatively correlated with ethyl octanoate and caproic acid. Meanwhile, ethyl octanoate and caproic acid were positively correlated with most flora including Ruminococcaceae, Dysgonomonadaceae and Clostridiacea, which were related to physicochemical indexes. This work demonstrates promise for adjusting the physicochemical indexes of PM to affect the micro-organisms and aroma, which may provide a reference for the production of high-quality Baijiu.  相似文献

The fermentative ability of five Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains and their influence on the aroma and sensory properties of wine from Treixadura were evaluated to determine the most suitable yeast that produces a high quality wine from this grapevine variety. The results indicated that all strains, except T2, were able to lead the vinification process and have good fermentative powers. The chemical composition of wines obtained with resident cellar yeasts consisted of a significant amount of glycerol, a compound that contributes to the structure and smoothness in taste of the wine. In addition, these strains were good producers of acetates, ethyl esters and fatty acids, compounds that positively influence wine aroma. Compounds with a direct contribution to the aroma of Treixadura wines (Odour Activity Value >1) included 2-methyl-1-butanol, 3-methyl-1-butanol, 2-phenylethanol, isoamyl and ethyl acetate and the ethyl esters, ethyl butyrate, ethyl hexanoate, ethyl octanoate and ethyl decanoate. Sensory analysis supported the fact that cellar strains produced more fruity and floral wines than commercial or spontaneous fermentations. We conclude that resident cellar yeasts enhanced sensory quality of wines from Treixadura.  相似文献

The potential inhibitory effect of acetate on p-toluic acid methanogenic fermentation was studied during the continuous operation at 5.3 days hydraulic retention time of an upflow anaerobic sludge blanket reactor fed with a synthetic waste-water containing 3.67 mm p-toluic acid as sole carbon and energy source. In the absence of acetate, a chemical oxygen demand removal efficiency of 56.8% and an estimated p-toluic acid removal efficiency of 62.8% were achieved. Immediately after the addition of 58.3 mm acetate into the reactor influent, p-toluic acid degradation stopped while most of the acetate was consumed. The inhibition is explained by thermodynamic considerations. It is emphasized that such phenomena could occur during the treatment of waste-waters containing high concentrations of acetate and aromatic compounds that require a syntrophic association to be degraded to acetate and H2. Asteromenia gen. nov. (Rhodymeniales, Rhodophyta) is proposed with a single species, Asteromenia peltata (W. R. Taylor) comb. nov. (basionym: Fauchea peltata W. R. Taylor). Thalli of the proposed new genus are stipitate with dorsiventral, peltate blades that are initially circular in shape but with age become stellate with ligulate arms. Internally, the blades have a polystromatic medulla of large, hyaline cells, grading into a cortex of smaller, pigmented cells. Clusters of translucent cells occur on the dorsal surface of the blade. Tetrasporangia are formed by transformations of intercalary midcortical cells. Mature tetrasporangia have cruciately arranged spores and are densely aggregated in the cortex, mostly on the ventral surface, but occasional tetrasporangia also arise on the dorsal surface. Carpogonial branches are four-celled and arise on inner cortical cells. Auxiliary cells are borne on auxiliary mother cells attached to supporting cells of the carpogonial branches. Cystocarps are protuberant, with well-developed, ostiolate pericarps that often have extended, proboscis-like necks. The new genus differs from the previously described peltate or dorsiventral taxa in the Rhodymeniaceae by its polystromatic medulla (Maripelta and Sciadophycus have a monostromatic medulla), intercalary tetrasporangia formed in an unmodified cortex, and four-celled carpogonial branches (Halichrysis, as typified by H. depressa (J. Agardh) F. Schmitz, has terminal tetrasporangia in nemathecia and three-celled carpogonial branches).  相似文献

Evaluation of phytochemical constituents and antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of hexane (PELH), dichloromethane (PELDCM), ethyl acetate (PELEA), and MeOH (PELM) extracts of young leaves of Pseudocalymma elegans have been carried out. Moreover, extracts have also been explored for the presence of sulphur containing compounds, 1,2‐dithiolane ( 33 ), diallyl disulfide ( 35 ), 3‐vinyl‐1,2‐dithiacyclohex‐5‐ene ( 37 ), and diallyl trisulfide ( 38 ) responsible for the garlic like smell of P. elegans. All the extracts were found to be antioxidant and showed potent inhibition with IC50 values of 0.168 ± 0.001, 0.128 ± 0.002, 0.221 ± 0.011, and 0.054 ± 0.001, respectively, as compared to standard drugs ascorbic acid (AA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT). The ethyl acetate extract (PELE) showed excellent activities against few Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria and some fungi as compared with standard drug ceftriaxone (3rd generation cephalosporin) and nystatin, respectively. Chemical constituents of hexane, dichloromethane, and ethyl acetate extracts were identified by gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry and mass spectral library search. Over all 55 chemical constituents were first time identified from the leaves which included branched and n‐hydrocarbons, fatty acids, fatty acid methyl esters, fatty alcohols, terpenes, alkaloid, vitamins, glycosides, aromatic compounds, and sulfur containing compounds. Two known chemical constituents, ursolic acid ( 1 ) and β‐amyrin ( 2 ), were also purified for the first time from the MeOH extract. To elucidate the structures of these compounds, UV, IR, EI‐MS, 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR spectroscopy were used.  相似文献

为探讨南美天胡荽对其他植物种子萌发的影响以及筛选影响其他植物的主要化合物,该文采用种子萌发试验、气相色谱-质谱联用以及液相色谱-质谱联用的方法,分析了南美天胡荽不同溶剂浸提液对种子萌发的影响、南美天胡荽植株及其根际土壤浸提液成分。结果表明:(1)南美天胡荽不同溶剂浸提物均具有一定程度的抑制种子萌发作用。(2)气相色谱-质谱分析下,南美天胡荽植株水浸提液中共分离鉴定了35种化合物,其中,邻苯二甲酸二丁酯(15.2%)、10,15-十八烷二元酸(8.58%)、2,4-二叔丁基苯酚(6.81%)相对含量最高;根际土壤水浸提液中共分离鉴定了17种化合物,其中,油酸酰胺(26.47%)、正二十七烷(9.63%)、十六酸乙酯(4.83%)相对含量最高。(3)液相色谱-质谱分析下,南美天胡荽植株水浸提液共分离鉴定了109种化合物,ESI+模式下,L-苯丙氨酸(3 483.99 ng·mg-1)、木犀草素(2 306.64 ng·mg-1)含量最多,ESI-模式下,右旋奎宁酸(21 827.71 ng·mg  相似文献

Isolates AH11T and AH13T were isolated from flowers of lantana and candle bush respectively collected in Thailand. In phylogenetic trees based on 16S rRNA gene sequences, the two isolates formed an independent cluster, which was then connected to the type strain of Saccharibacter floricola. The calculated pair-wise 16S rRNA gene sequence similarities of isolate AH11T were 95.7–92.3% to the type strains of the type species of the 12 genera of acetic acid bacteria. The DNA base composition was from 51.2 to 56.8 mol % G+C, with a range of 5.6 mol %. When isolate AH11T was labeled, DNA-DNA similarities were 100, 12, 4, 5, and 4% respectively to isolates AH11T and AH13T and the type strains of Saccharibacter floricola, Gluconobacter oxydans, and Acetobacter aceti. The two isolates were non-motile and did not oxidize either acetate or lactate. No growth was found in the presence of 0.35% acetic acid w/v. The two isolates were not osmophilic but osmotolerant, produced 2,5-diketo-D-gluconate from D-glucose, and did not oxidize lactate, thus differing from strains of Saccharibacter floricola, which showed weak lactate oxidation. The two isolates contained unsaturated C18:1ω7c fatty acid as the major fatty acid, and were unique in the presence of a considerable amount of straight-chain C18:12OH fatty acid. Q-10 was present as the major isoprenoid quinone. Neokomagataea gen. nov. was proposed with the two species, Neokomagataea thailandica sp. nov. for isolate AH11T (=BCC 25710 T =NBRC 106555T), which has 56.8 mol % G+C, and Neokomagataea tanensis sp. nov. for isolate AH13T (=BCC 25711T=NBRC 106556T), which has 51.2 mol % G+C.  相似文献

Introduction – Moso‐bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) is well known as an edible shoot in Asia, and the stems of moso‐bamboo are used as tableware due to its characteristic odour. Despite the pleasant odour of bamboo stems, no detailed analysis of the volatile compounds has been reported. Objective – To clarify the potent odourants contributing to the characteristic aroma of the bamboo, the aroma extract dilution analysis (AEDA) method was performed through gas chromatography olfactometry (GC‐O) analysis. In addition, relative flavour activity (RFA) was calculated, in which both the flavor dilution (FD) factor and weight percentage of each compound are involved. Results – Eighty‐nine compound in bamboo stems oil were identified by GC and GC‐MS. The main components of the oil were palmitic acid (16.5%), (E)‐nerolidol (10.2%) and indole (8.1%). In sensory analysis, 18 aroma‐active compounds were detected by aroma extract dilution analysis (AEDA). The most intense aroma‐active compounds were eugenol (sweet, clove‐like, green) and (E)‐2‐nonenal (green). Conclusion – The results of the sniffing test, RFA and FD factor indicated that (E)‐2‐nonenal and eugenol were estimated to have a bamboo‐like aroma, and aldehyde compounds, such as a phenylacetaldehyde (floral) and C9–C10 unsaturated aldehydes, make the aroma of bamboo. The components of the fusel oils obtained through the fermentation of corn, barley and sweet molasses were separated by fractional distillation and adsorption chromatography. Each of the components was analyzed by gas chromatography and infrared spectrometry. Newly isolated components were as follows: methyl heptenone, fatty acids having odd number of carbon atoms, acetic esters of higher aliphatic alcohols ranging from C6 to C11, benzyl alcohol, ethyl phenylacetate, phenylethyl propionate, acetophenone, limonene, and α-ionone. Moreover, an unknown ketone C10H16O were isolated from corn fusel oil, and trans-neroridol from sweet molass fusel oil.  相似文献

The morphology and infraciliature of the marine hypotrichous ciliate Nothoholosticha fasciola (Kahl, 1932) nov. gen., nov. comb., isolated from mariculture waters near Qingdao, China, are redescribed based on live and protargol-impregnated specimens. Features reported for the first time include the possession of more than 50 macronuclear nodules and details of the infraciliature, i.e. 50–60 adoral membranelles, shortened paroral and endoral membranes, six frontal, one buccal and two to seven transverse cirri, ca. 40 pairs of midventral cirri, ca. 60–120 left and 70–120 right marginal cirri, three dorsal kineties, caudal and frontoterminal cirri absent. In addition, brief details of two stages of cellular reorganization in N. fasciola are supplied and comparisons with some related urostylids based on SS rRNA gene sequence data are reported. The new genus Nothoholosticha is established based primarily on the absence of frontoterminal cirri, which distinctly separates it from similar urostylid genera. Anteholosticha longissima is transferred to Nothoholosticha as N. longissima (Dragesco and Dragesco-Kernéis, 1986) nov. comb. and Holosticha antarctica is transferred to Pseudokeronopsis as P. antarctica (Wilbert and Song, 2008) nov. comb.  相似文献
