Stereo-structures of protonated (L)-phenylalanine ((L)-Phe), (L)-tyrosine ((L)-Tyr) and (L)-tryptophan ((L)-Trp) containing homodipeptides ((L)-Tyr-(L)-Tyr, (L)-Phe-(L)-Phe, (L)-Trp-(L)-Trp) are carried out by ab initio calculations. The obtained data in gas phase are compared with experimental ones, received by linear-dichroic infrared (IR-LD) spectroscopy of solids, oriented as suspension in nematic mesophase. An observation of a good correlation between theoretical and spectroscopic geometry parameters established and illustrated the possibilities of this complex study approach for the prediction of the stereo-structures in compounds in solid state. The protonation leads to little variance in the bond lengths and angles, expecting the COO(-) fragment, where a distortion of equalized COO(-) bond lengths, stabilizing a C=O double bond and C-O(H) one is established. Significant deviations of the dihedral angles as a result of the protonation are obtained in the skeletal aliphatic and amide- fragments. In (L)-Tyr-(L)-Tyr and (L)-Phe-(L)-Phe, a deviation of O=C-N-H torsion angle about 10-14(0) is predicted. The calculations show a trans-amide configuration in (L)-Trp-(L)-Trp and a cis-one after its protonation.  相似文献

Summary A population ofHalictus (S.) tumulorum, a species whose biology is poorly known, was studied in eastern France. The polyphenism was evaluated by comparing a sample of foundresses (1991) with two samples of summer females (1991 and 1992).H. tumulorum is a primitively eusocial species with castes differing only slightly in size, but more in function, and producing numerous males in the first brood. During three different seasons Mesidotea entomon specimens from fourhorn sculpin stomachs were analyzed, and compared with the M. entomon population in the field. The field samplings were carried out in the northern Bothnian Sea. Feeding experiments revealed fourhorn sculpins to be highly selective when feeding on M. entomon.The fourhorn sculpin most preferably selected large M. entomon in the field as well as in the laboratory experiments. The preference for large M. entomon remained after correction for availability of differently sized M. entomon. In summer the actual sizes of M. entomon eaten by fourhorn sculpin were smaller than in autumn and winter. During all three seasons the oldest M. entomon were the ones most preferred. Ultimate effects of predation by fourhorn sculpin on the life-history of M. entomon are discussed.  相似文献

Intermatings between sexual diploids (2n=36) and facultative apomictic tetraploids (2n=4n=72) of Tripsacum dactyloides var. dactyloides, (L.), L., have been generated. Subsequent exchange and addition of genetic material between the two cytotypes, via a backcrossing program, provides one method for the manipulation of genetic elements involved in apomictic reproduction (diplospory) of this species.Identification and development of fertile triploids, and their innate tendency to exhibit a high frequency of unreduced egg cells which remain receptive to fertilization by a sperm nucleus, allows for the unique development of B III (2n=3x+n) tetraploids by genome accumulation. The resultant B III progeny provide new breeding stock for investigating the inheritance and generation of such materials also allows for the occurrence of genetic recombination between sexual diploids and apomictic tetraploids. Potential use of fertile triploids, their tendency for genome accumulation and their use in exploiting apomictic tetraploid germplasm resources are also discussed.All programs and services of the U.S. Department of Agriculture are offered on a nondiscriminatory basis without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, marital status, or handicap.  相似文献

The leishmanicidal activity of four batches of meglumine antimoniate, produced in Farmanguinhos-Fiocruz, Brazil (TAMs), was assessed and compared to Glucantime(R)-Aventis Pharma Ltda. Using the amastigote-like in vitro model, the active concentrations of Sb v varied from 10microg/ml to 300 microg/ml for L. (L.) chagasi and from 50microg/ml to 300microg/ml for L. (L.) amazonensis, with no statistically significant differences among the four batches of TAMs and Glucantime(R). The inhibitory concentrations (IC50) determined by the amastigote-infected macrophage model for TAM01/03 and Glucantime(R) were, respectively: 26.3microg/ml and 127.6microg/ml for L. chagasi, 15.4microg /ml and 22.9microg/ml for L. amazonensis, and 12.1microg/ml and 24.2microg/ml for L. (V.) braziliensis. The activities of the four batches of TAMs were confirmed in an in vivo model by assessing, during eight weeks skin lesions caused by L. braziliensis in hamster that were treated with 20mg Sb v/Kg/day for 30 consecutive days. The meglumine antimoniate produced by Farmanguinhos was as effective as the reference drug, Glucantime(R)-Aventis, against three species of Leishmania that are of medical importance in Brazil.  相似文献

The Cu(II) in Cu(H(-2)L) has been postulated to be successively transported to cysteine (Cys) as follows; Cu(H(-2)L) <==> Cu(H(-2)L)(Cys*-) <==> Cu(H(-1)L)(Cys*-) --> Cu(H(-1)L)(Cys-), where Cys*- denotes the monodentate Cys-. N-acetyl-cysteinate (ACys-) complexes Cu(H(-2)L)(ACys-) and Cu(H(-1)L)(ACys-), having similar coordination modes to Cu(H(-2)L)(Cys*-) and Cu(H(-1)L)(Cys*-), respectively, exhibited the S --> Cu(II) charge transfer absorption at 325-355 nm and the d-d absorption at 530-610 nm. A linear interrelation existed between the energies of the CD and d-d absorptions. Cu(H(-2)L)(ACys-) were in rapid equilibrium with Cu(H(-1)L)(ACys-). Upon forming the ternary complex, pK(c2) of the parent Cu(H(-1)L) was raised to more than 1.0. The formation constants (K) of the Cu(H(-1)L)(ACys-) species from Cu(H(-1)L) were bigger than those of Cu(H(-2)L)(ACys-) from Cu(H(-2)L). The linear free-energy relationship existed between the free-energy change (deltaG) and the entropy change (deltaS) for the ternary complex formation. The rate constants (k1+) for the Cu(H(-1)L)(Cys-) formation closely correlated with the K values for Cu(H(-2)L)(ACys-). The ternary complexes containing ACys are considered to be analogous complexes to the intermediates in the transport of Cu(II) from peptides to cysteine.  相似文献

伊蝽属全世界已知5种,目前,中国己知有4种,即双带伊蝽Aenaria bivitta sp.nov.,伊蝽A.lewisi(Scott),宽缘伊蝽Aenaria pinchii Yang和直缘伊蝽Aenaria zhangi Chen.双带伊蝽,新种Aenaria bivitta sp.nov.新种与该属模式种伊蝽A.lewisi(Scott,1874)相似,主要区别如下:新种双带伊蝽腹下中央刻点无色,生殖囊腹缘具两个末端尖锐的黑色突起,阳基侧突感觉叶为细长的指状;而伊蝽腹下中央有一条黑色刻点组成的纵条带,生殖囊腹缘不具任何突起,阳基侧突感觉叶为宽钝的三角形.  相似文献

Lasioglossum (Lasioglossum) subopacum (Smith) is recorded from the Korean Peninsula for the first time. Lasioglossum (Lasioglossum) okinawa Ebmer et Maeta from Japan is ranked to a subspecies of Lasioglossum (Lasioglossum) subopacum judging from the characteristics of the male. The male of Lasioglossum (Lasioglossum) subopacumokinawa is described for the first time. Some bionomical notes of both subspecies are presented.  相似文献

We have used two-dimensional (1)H NMR spectroscopy at 750 MHz to determine a high-resolution solution structure of an oligonucleotide containing restricted nucleotides with a 2'-O, 4'-C-methylene bridge (LNA) hybridized to the complementary DNA strand. The LNA:DNA duplex examined contained four thymidine LNA modifications (T(L), d(C1T(L)2G3C4T(L)5T(L)6C7T(L)8G9C10):d( G11C12A13G14A15A16G17C 18A19G20). A total relaxation matrix approach was used to obtain interproton distance bounds from NOESY cross-peak intensities. These distance bounds were used as restraints in molecular dynamics (rMD) calculations. Forty final structures were generated for the duplex from A-form and B-form DNA starting structures. The root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) of the coordinates for the 40 structures of the complex was 0.6 A. The sugar puckerings are averaged values of a dynamic interchange between N- and S-type conformation except in case of the locked nucleotides that were found to be fixed in the C3'-endo conformation. Among the other nucleotides in the modified strand, the furanose ring of C7 and G9 is predominantly in the N-type conformation whereas that of G3 is in a mixed conformation. The furanose rings of the nucleotides in the unmodified complementary strand are almost exclusively in the S-type conformation. Due to these different conformations of the sugars in the two strands, there is a structural strain between the A-type modified strand and the B-type unmodified complementary strand. This strain is relaxed by decreasing the value of rise and compensating with tip, buckle, and propeller twist. The values of twist vary along the strand but for a majority of the base pairs a value even lower than that of A-DNA is observed. The average twist over the sequence is 32+/-1 degrees. On the basis of the structure, we conclude that the high stability of LNA:DNA duplexes is caused by a local change of the phosphate backbone geometry that favors a higher degree of stacking.  相似文献

Chromosomenevolution bei den afrikanischen arvicanthinen Ratten (Murinae, Rodentia): Vergleichende Cytogenetik von Lemniscomys (L. zebra, L. rosalia, L. striatus) und Arvicanthus dembeensis
Chromosomenbänderungsanalysen (G- und C- Bänderung) wurden an zwei Arten von Lemniscomys ( L. zebra, L. rosalia ) und einer dritten Art aus Benin ( L. striatus ) durchgeführt, um den Verlauf der Chromosomenevolution in dieser Gattung zu verfolgen. Ein Mustervergleich mit der G-Bänderung macht es möglich, die Umstrukturierung der Chromosomen der Karyotypen zu erkennen. Die beiden Arten aus Tansania ( L. rosalia 2n=54, FNa=62; und L. zebra 2n=54, FNa=58) sind durch zwei perizentrische Inversionen voneinander unterschieden. Ein Polymorphismus für das X-Chromosom findet sich in beiden Arten. L. rosalia zeigt außerdem zwei verschiedene Formen des Y-Chromosoms. Das Bänderungsmuster von L. striatus (2n=44, FNa=68) aus Benin läßt im Vergleich zu L. zebra fünf Robertsonsche Fusionen erkennen. Außerdem ist der Karyotyp von L. rosalia aus Tansania verschieden von dem der für Südafrika (2n=48, FNa=62) beschrieben wurde und sollte daher als eine eigene Art betrachtet werden. Eine vergleichende Bänderungsanalyse mit einer anderen arvicanthinen Art ( Arvicanthus dembeensis, 2n=62, FNa=62) zeigt zwischen den beiden Gattungen eine vollständige Homologie in den G-Banden und die Unterschiede beruhen ausschließlich auf Tandem-Fusionen, perizentrischen Inversionen und Robertsonschen Fusionen.  相似文献

K2PtCl4 reacts with L-lysine and with D,L-diaminiopropionic acid (Dap) forming the neutral complexes [PtCl2(N,O-Lys)]·H20 (1) and [PtCl2(N,O-Dap)], (2) respectively.Compound 1 is monoclinic, space group P21 with a = 11.262(3), b = 11.041(2), c = 9.690(2) Å, β = 102.07(5)°, V = 1178(1) Å3 and Z = 4. Compound 2 is monoclinic, space group P21/n with a = 8.777(1), b = 10.615(2), c = 7.947(1) Å, β = 94.98(3)°, V = 738(1) Å3 and Z = 4. In both compounds, the zwitterionic ligands form an N,O-five membered chelate with the platinum atom. Structures 1 and 2 were refined to R values of 3.3% and 6.3% respectively.  相似文献
