Under closed laboratory conditions, at non-limiting nutrient levels, the biomass of Anabaena variabilis, Anacystis nidulans, Chlorella pyrenoidosa, and Selanastrum capricornutum increased with increasing levels of dissolved organic matter (DOM) as a result of bacterially produced carbon dioxide (CO2) and (or) cofactors. Oxygen (O2) produced as a result of algal photosynthesis was sufficient to supply the najority of O2 required by the bacterial community. The percentage of DOM utilized by bacteria which was subsequently incorporated into algal biomass varied with individual species indicating that the association between individual algal species and the bacterial microbiota varied. Under natural conditions bacteria could provide CO2 and (or) cofactors for algal photosynthesis which in turn supplies O2 for bacterial respiration. This mutualistic association in aquatic environments could result in an increase in planktonic and epiphytic algal biomass if other nutrients are available.  相似文献

采用群体累积培养法,研究了藻类食物的种类和浓度对红臂尾轮虫种群增长、个体大小及卵大小的影响.结果表明,藻种类和浓度对红臂尾轮虫种群增长率、个体体积及卵体积均有极显著影响.不同食堕种空中,种群增长率以小球藻组最小,栅藻组最大;个体体积以小球藻组最小,栅藻组和混合藻组问无显著差异.种群增长率(Y,d^-1)与食物浓度(X,×10^6cells·ml^-1)间呈曲线相关,两者间的关系符合方程:y=-0.0040x^2+0.0409X+0.4471。在所研究的食物浓度范围内,当浓度分别高于或低于6.0×10^cells·m1^-1和3.0×10^6cells·ml^-1时,轮虫个体体积和卵体积均分别呈减小的趋势。  相似文献

菖蒲干体提取液对两种水华藻类生长的影响   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
通过不同浓度的提取液添加试验,研究了水生植物菖蒲的干体提取液对铜绿微囊藻和蛋白核小球藻生长的影响.结果表明:菖蒲干体提取液中含有抑藻活性的化感物质.高浓度的提取液(>40 ml·L-1)对两种低接种密度藻的生长有显著的抑制作用(P<0.01),最高抑制率分别为9866%和9238%;而低浓度的提取液(<30 ml·L-1)能促进蛋白核小球藻的生长,第7天最低抑制率为-4952%.但两种浓度的提取液对高密度藻的生长并无显著影响(P>0.05).对比提取液的半连续添加和一次性添加试验发现,提取液中的抑藻组分较易分解,表明自然水体中化感物质的持续分泌可能是菖蒲对浮游藻类产生抑制作用的重要因素.  相似文献

The ploidy of the unicellular green alga Chlorella pyrenoidosa (strain 211/8b) has been determined by means of renaturation kinetics. The nuclear DNA is made up from fast, intermediate and slow renaturing sequences, which represent respectively about 5, 15 and 80% of the DNA. These observations are consistent with the findings in other eukaryotic nuclear DNAs. Nevertheless, the relative importance of the repeated sequences is much lower than that observed in Chlamydomonas reinhardi [16] and in higher plants [18-20], but slightly higher than that obtained in Chlorella vulgaris [17]. The kinetic complexity of the main fraction of the Cl. pyrenoidosa nuclear DNA is found to be 2.94 - 10-10 daltons (mean value of five independant experiments) assuming value of 2.1 - 10-8 daltons for Cl. pyrenoidosa chloroplastic DNA. When compared with the analytical complexity of this fraction (80% of the nuclear DNA analytical complexity, that is 2.02 - 10-10 daltons), one can assume that the slow renaturing fraction of the nuclear DNA is constituted by a unique nucleotide sequence. This result thus suggests that Cl. pyrenoidosa (strain 211/8b) is an haploid organism. The possible existence of an haploid genome in the nuclei of the algae from Chlorella genus and the apparent absence of sexuality might explain the high discrepancy observed in the G + C content of the Chlorella nuclear DNAs.  相似文献

Summary The ultrastructure of the unicellular green algaChlorella fusca, grown in the absence and presence of vanadium (4 · 10–7 M as NH4VO3) and under iron deficiency, is investigated by electron microscopy. Iron and vanadium deficiencies are characterized by an accumulation of intracellular starch, the observation being confirmed by chemical analysis of the amount of algal total starch. While iron deficiency causes dishorders in the chloroplast lamellar system and very often disintegration of the whole cell, the presence of vanadate prevents these symptoms. V-grown cells form only little starch, but show an enlarged thylakoid system within the chloroplast. 坛紫菜的磷酸盐缓冲液浸取液,经硫酸铵沉淀和DEAE-Sepharose,SephadexG-100二步层析纯化,获得纯化的坛紫菜凝集素(PHL)。该凝集素能与3种单糖(阿拉伯糖,半乳糖,木糖)及麦芽糖专一性结合,其中与麦芽糖结合最强。细胞凝集实验结果显示,PHL能凝集兔,绵羊及鸡红细胞而不能凝集鸭,鸽子及人血红细胞,PHL还能凝集海洋微藻-绿色巴夫藻和淡水微藻-蛋白核小球藻,它们的凝集活性与藻细胞密度有关。不同状态的细菌和酵母细胞对PHL反应不同,表明随着细胞状态的改变,细胞表面的凝集素受体也随之发生变化。  相似文献

Antialgal allelochemicals were isolated from Phragmites communis Tris. The isolated allelopathic fraction showed strong inhibition activity on the growth of Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Microcystis aeruginosa but had no inhibition on Chlorella vulgaris. The 50% effective concentrations (EC50) of the allelopathic fractions on C. pyrenoidosa and M. aeruginosa were 0.49 and 0.79 mg/liter, respectively. The allelopathic activity of the fraction was species-specific. The isolated allelopathic fraction caused metal ion leakage from algal cells. The fraction decreased the activities of antioxidant enzymes, such as superoxide dismutase and peroxidase. The addition of the isolated fraction increased the concentration of unsaturated lipid fatty acids in cell membrane of C. pyrenoidosa and M. aeruginosa. This caused a change in plasma membrane integrity and the leakage of ions in the protoplast. The allelopathic compound was identified by nuclear magnetic resonance and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry as ethyl 2-methylacetoacetate. Synthesized ethyl 2-methylacetoacetate also showed allelopathic activity on C. pyrenoidosa and M. aeruginosa. The EC50 of synthesized ethyl 2-methylacetoacetate on C. pyrenoidosa and M. aeruginosa were 0.49 and 0.65 mg/liter, respectively.  相似文献

Assimilation of phosphate by Chlorella pyrenoidosa was 0.81-8.1 mg PO(4)-P/g dry weight for heterotrophic cultures and 0.81-16.1 mg/g for mixotrophic cultures. Optimal carbon:phosphorous (C/P) ratios were 206:1-2060:1 and 103:1-2060:1 for heterotrophic and mixotrophic cultivations, respectively. These requirements for phosphate for growth of C. pyrenoidosa under either heterotrophic or mixotrophic conditions are much less (6.25-62.5 or 3.12-62.5-fold at 10 g glucose/l) than its concentration in basal medium.  相似文献

对广州和芜湖两品系萼花臂尾轮虫的摄食强度及其与食物浓度、食物种类和培养时间之间的关系进行了比较研究.结果表明,食物浓度、食物种类和培养时间均对轮虫滤水率和摄食率有显著影响.两品系轮虫滤水率和摄食率均随培养时间的延长而减小;20 h内,两品系轮虫的总滤水率均与食物浓度呈曲线相关,而两品系轮虫总摄食率均与食物浓度呈直线相关.广州和芜湖两品系轮虫均在以小球藻为食物时有较大的滤水率,分别为0.0029±0.0001和0.0039±0.0008ml·ind.-1·h-1;广州品系轮虫以小球藻为食物时的摄食率(0.3992×104±0.00850×4 cell·ind.-1·h-1)显著地大于以栅藻为食物时的摄食率(0.170×4±0.0370×4 cell·ind.-1·h-1),而它们均与以混合藻为食物时的摄食率无显著差异;芜湖品系轮虫摄食率不受食物种类影响.轮虫滤水率和摄食率因食物浓度、食物种类和培养时间的不同而在品系间存在着差异.  相似文献

The removal and biodegradation of nonylphenol (NP) by alginate-immobilized cells of Chlorella vulgaris were compared with their respective free cultures. The effects of four cell densities of 10(4) per algal bead were investigated, as were the four algal bead concentrations, with regard to the removal and biodegradation of NP. Although immobilization significantly decreased the growth rate and NP's biodegradation efficiency of C. vulgaris, NP removal over a short period was enhanced. The NP removal mechanism by immobilized cells was similar to that by free cells, including adsorption onto alginate matrix and algal cells, absorption within cells and cellular biodegradation. The optimal cell density and bead concentration for the removal and biodegradation of NP was 50-100×10(4) cells algal bead(-1) and 2-4 beads ml(-1) of wastewater, respectively. These results demonstrated that immobilized C. vulgaris cells under optimal biomass and photoautotrophic conditions are effective in removing NP from contaminated water.  相似文献

为深入了解饵料微藻与赤潮微藻间的种间竞争关系,通过微藻共培养的方法,研究了起始生物量比(1:4、1:1和4:1)对3种海洋微藻(塔玛亚历山大藻、蛋白核小球藻和湛江等鞭金藻)两两之间种间竞争的影响,并对其作用机制进行了探讨。结果表明:①3种海洋微藻表现出种间竞争的相互抑制效应;②在与塔玛亚历山大藻(简称A)的种间竞争中,蛋白核小球藻(简称C)和湛江等鞭金藻(简称I)均在竞争中占优势,蛋白核小球藻随自身起始生物量比的提高,其竞争优势越加明显,湛江等鞭金藻在A:I=1:1时竞争优势最为明显;在蛋白核小球藻和湛江等鞭金藻的种间竞争中,当C:I=1:4时,湛江等鞭金藻在竞争中占优势,C:I=1:1时,初期湛江等鞭金藻占竞争优势,随蛋白核小球藻的迅速生长,后期蛋白核小球藻占竞争优势,C:I=4:1时,蛋白核小球藻占绝对竞争优势;③由种间竞争抑制参数比较得出:3种微藻的种间竞争强弱依次为蛋白核小球藻>湛江等鞭金藻>塔玛亚历山大藻。蛋白核小球藻和湛江等鞭金藻在起始比例C:I=1:1时,可共培养利用,在海产经济动物育苗中可对其进行适时采收投喂;两种饵料藻对塔玛亚历山大藻具有明显的抑制作用,可为开发利用饵料藻进行赤潮生物防控提供一定的科学依据。  相似文献

The influence of vanadium compounds (vanadate, vanadyl citrate) on photosynthesis in Chlorella fusca and in algal and spinach chloroplasts has been investigated. It was found that: 1. At moderately high concentrations (at least 0.1 mM) both vanadate and vanadyl citrate enhance photosynthetic O2 production in intact C. fusca cells. At lower V concentration (about 2 μM) only vanadate stimulates photosynthesis. The increase is dependent on culture conditions and on light intensity. 2. Up to 1 mM V, neither vanadium compound influences PS II activity, either in intact cells or in algal or spinach chloroplasts. 3. The PS I reaction in algal and spinach chloroplasts is maximally enhanced (3-fold) in presence of vanadium (20 μM). The increase is independent of light intensity. 4. Cr(VI), Mo(VI), and W(VI) (1 mM) stimulate photosynthesis in intact C. fusca cells, but do not influence the photosystems of isolated chloroplasts. Vanadium is suggested to act as a redox catalyst in the electron transport from PS II to PS I.  相似文献

研究了11种药用植物浸提液对水华藻种蛋白核小球藻的影响,结果显示:黄连、重楼、贯众、防己4种药用植物的浸提液均有抑藻效应。当药用植物浸提液的相对浓度为1g/L处理时,其半抑制效应时间LT50的排序为:防己重楼黄连贯众。进一步研究防己的相对浓度梯度抑藻效应,结果表明:在相对浓度为2g/L时,实验3d后的藻细胞几乎全部死亡;防己的抑藻效应受贮藏时间和贮藏温度的影响不显著。在所研究的药用植物中,防己的抑藻效果最好,在抑藻方面有较大应用前景,其它3种药用植物对轻度藻类爆发的控制也有潜在应用价值。  相似文献

摘要:【目的】利用小球藻异养培养技术处理啤酒废水,旨在为啤酒废水资源化利用和降低小球藻生产成本提供一个途径。【方法】在含有10 g/L葡萄糖的基本培养基进行异养小球藻高效藻株的筛选,并用于啤酒废水的资源化处理。【结果】从5株小球藻中得到2株适合高密度异养培养的藻株(Chlorella pyrenoidosa 15-2070 和 Chlorella vulgaris 15-2075),在啤酒废水的资源化处理过程中这2株小球藻得到非常接近的试验结果。利用由废水配制含10 g/L葡萄糖的基本培养液培养Chlorella pyrenoidosa 15-2070获得了5.3 g/L藻细胞;并且在此过程中,啤酒废水得到有效利用,几种主要污染物最高去除率为:CODcr,92.2 %;BOD5,95.1 %;NO3--N,98.5 %;NH4+-N,92.3 %。【结论】啤酒废水中的重要环境污染物在培养小球藻的过程中可以得到有效地清除,并从中可以获得具有商业价值的小球藻细胞。  相似文献

The effects of Chlorella pyrenoidosa on serum lipid profiles, after concomitant long-term treatment of high-fat diet (HFD) in rats and hamsters was studied. Wistar rats and Syrian hamsters were fed with or without various concentrations of Chlorella pyrenoidosa contained high-fat diet (CHFD) for 2, 4 and 8 weeks prior to assay of serum lipids. Fasting triglycerides, total cholesterol, and LDL cholesterol as well as HDL cholesterol levels in high-fat diet treated rats and hamster were determined. Results showed that triglycerides, total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels in HFD treated rats and hamsters were increased from the normal rodent diet (NRD) treated controls after 2, 4, and 8-week treatments. However, the presence of Chlorella pyrenoidosa in high-fat diets significantly decreased the levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol with comparison to HFD group in rats and hamsters. The total cholesterol/HDL ratios, an indication of occurrence of coronary heart disease, were decreased in all CHFD treated grouped rats and hamsters which suggests administration of Chlorella pyrenoidosa could lower the occurring risk of heart diseases. In conclusion, Chlorella pyrenoidosa has the ability to prevent dyslipidemia in chronic high-fat fed animals and could be potential in use to prevent intestinal absorption of redundant lipid from our daily intake and subsequently to prevent hyperlipidemia as well as atherosclerosis.  相似文献

We compared the population growth of B. calyciflorus and B. patulus using the green alga Chlorella vulgaris, baker's yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae or their mixture in equal proportions as food. Food was offered once every 24 h in two concentrations (low: 1 x 10(6) and high: 3 x 10(6) cells ml-1) separately for each species. The experiments were terminated after 15 days. In general, at any food type or concentration, B. patulus reached a higher population density. A diet of Chlorella alone supported a higher population growth of both rotifer species than yeast alone. B. calyciflorus and B. patulus achieved highest population densities (103 +/- 8 ind. ml-1 and 296 +/- 20 ind. ml-1, respectively) on a diet of Chlorella at 3 x 10(6) cells ml-1. When cultured using the mixture of Chlorella and yeast, the maximal population densities of B. calyciflorus were lower than those grown on Chlorella. Under similar conditions, the maximal abundance values of B. patulus were comparable in both food types. Regardless of food type and density the rate of population increase per day (r) for B. calyciflorus varied from 0.13 +/- 0.03 to 0.63 +/- 0.04. These values for B. patulus ranged from 0.19 +/- 0.01 to 0.37 +/- 0.01. The results indicated that even though Chlorella was a superior food for the tested rotifers, yeast can be effectively used at low concentrations to supplement algal requirements in rotifer culture systems.  相似文献

Light stimulates the assimilation of nitrate and nitrite by two green algae, Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Ankistrodesmus braunii. Assimilation can be observed when the algae are illuminated in the absence of carbon dioxide under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. The rates of assimilation by Chlorella do not depend on the presence of carbon dioxide, but Ankistrodesmus assimilates nitrate and nitrite more rapidly when cultures are illuminated in the presence of carbon dioxide than in its absence. The ratios of O(2) : NO(3') and O(2) : NO(2') vary from one experiment to the other and, with the exception of Chlorella cultures reducing nitrite they are higher than the 'expected' values of 2.0 and 1.5 respectively. Oxygen evolution accompanying nitrate and nitrite by algae illuminated in the absence of carbon dioxide is completely inhibited by DCMU at concentrations of 4 × 10(-6) M. However, nitrite assimilation by both Ankistrodesmus and Chlorella and nitrate assimilation by Ankistrodesmus are less sensitive to the inhibitor.  相似文献

The effect of hexachlorobenzene (HCB) and acetone on growth and ultrastructure of the freshwater alga Chlorella pyrenoidosa was studied. The algal cells were grown for 76 h under continuous light in 10 ppm HCB with 0.33% acetone or in 0.33% acetone alone; the control cells were grown in nutrient solution only. As was deduced from determinations of dry matter, carbohydrates, chlorophyll content and total nitrogen, 0.33% acetone in nutrient solution slightly decreased the growth of the cells without having any influence on their ultrastructure while 3.33% acetone affected the ultrastructure of the cells severely. An incubation of Chlorella with 10 ppm HCB in nutrient sultion containing 0.33% acetone led to a drastic decrease of all growth parameters studied, total nitrogen and chlorophyll content being affected most strongly. These latter observations were in accord with the changes in ultrastructure showing damage to the cell membranes, disintegrated cytoplasm and sometimes even break down of cell organells leaving only starch grains, the pyrenoid and some endomembranes. In addition to these cells with severe lesions, quite normal cells were found.  相似文献

The constitutive coenzyme non-specific glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) from Chlorella pyrenoidosa 82T was purified to homogeneity by column immunoaffinity chromatography and examined by an electron microscope. The enzyme molecule was found to be a hexameric oligomer composed of monomers arranged in three 2-point group symmetry in two layers slightly twisted round the 3-fold axis. The molecule is 8 +/- 1 nm in diameter and 10 +/- 1 nm in height. The enzyme molecules appear both to dissociate into trimers and to associate along the 3-fold axis forming linear aggregates under certain conditions. A tentative model of the Chlorella GDH molecule is proposed, which is very similar to those described for bovine liver GDH and GDH from Clostridium symbiosum.  相似文献
