The author has investigated the impact of psychological and socio-economic factors on cerebral hemodynamics and development of cerebrovascular disease (CVD). A group of 120 war sufferers with signs of post-traumatic stress disorder and adaptation disturbances, and 120 persons of the control group with no traumatic war experience have been studied. The blood flow velocity and various parameters of spectral frequency analysis have been measured, using the method of transcranial doppler sonography (TCD). A greater number of hemodynamical changes has been found in the group of subjects than in the control group (p < 0.05), in which increase of vasospasm is statistically significant probably as a result of predomination of the sympathetic system stimulation and nicotinic effect on the brain blood vessels. Flow disturbances are relatively more frequent in older subjects, which suggests the rapid development of the atherosclerotic process. The results suggest that exposure to prolonged stress and bad socio-economic factors, through different neurobiological mechanisms, increased the risk for stroke.  相似文献

An introduction to biofluid mechanics--basic models and applications   总被引:9,自引:0,他引:9
Cardiovascular disease is the primary cause of morbidity and mortality in the western world. Complex hemodynamics play a critical role in the development of atherosclerosis and the processes of aging, as well as many other disease processes. Biofluid mechanics play a major role in the cardiovascular system and it is important to understand the forces and movement of blood cells and whole blood as well as the interaction between blood cells and the vessel wall. Fundamental fluid mechanical, which are important for the understanding of the blood flow in the cardiovascular circulatory system of the human body aspects are presented. Measurement techniques for model studies such as LDA, ultrasound, and MRI studies will be discussed. Viscosity and flow behavior changes specifically the creation of vortices and flow disturbances can be used to show how medication can influence flow behavior. Experiments have shown that hemodynamics may have a strong influence on the creation of aneurysms and varicose veins. Other factors such as vessel wall structure are also important. In preliminary studies, it has been demonstrated that geometry and elasticity of vessel walls help determine flow behavior. High velocity fluctuations indicate flow disturbances that should be avoided. Health care practitioners must understand fluid dynamic factors such as flow rate ratio, pressure and velocity gradients, and flow behavior, velocity distribution, shear stress on the wall and on blood cells. These mechanical factors are largely responsible for the deposit of blood cells and lipids, a leading cause of atherosclerosis. The interaction between blood cells and of the cells with the vessel, leads to the formation of plaques and agglomerations. These deposits are found predominantly at arterial bends and bifurcations where blood flow is disturbed, where a secondary flow is created, and where flow separation regions are found. Experiments on hemodynamic effects in elastic silicon rubber models of the cardiovascular system with flow wire, stents, or patches for vessel surgery will be discussed. These studies can be important in improving diagnostics and therapeutic applications.  相似文献

Otolith activation increases muscle sympathetic nerve activity (MSNA), and MSNA activation may alter associations among autonomic oscillators, including those modulating cerebral hemodynamics. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of vestibulosympathetic activation on cerebral and autonomic rhythms. We recorded the ECG, finger arterial pressure, end-tidal CO(2), respiration, cerebral blood flow velocity, and MSNA in eight subjects. Subjects breathed at 0.25 Hz for 5 min in the prone and head-down positions. We analyzed data in time and frequency domains and performed cross-spectral analyses to determine coherence and transfer function magnitude. Head-down rotation increased MSNA from 7 +/- 1.3 to 12 +/- 1.5 bursts/min (P = 0.001) but did not affect R-R intervals, arterial pressures, mean cerebral blood flow velocities (V(mean)), or their power spectra. Vestibular activation with head-down rotation had no effect on mean arterial pressure and V(mean) transfer function magnitude. The two new findings from this study are 1) head-down rotation independently activates the sympathetic nervous system with no effect on parasympathetic activity or V(mean); and 2) frequency-dependent associations between arterial pressures and V(mean) are independent of vestibular activation. These findings support the concept that vestibular-autonomic interactions independently and redundantly serve to maintain steady-state hemodynamics.  相似文献

Airway blood flow response to eucapnic dry air hyperventilation in sheep   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Eucapnic hyperventilation, breathing dry air, produces a two- to fivefold increase in airway blood flow in the dog. To determine whether airway blood flow responds similarly in the sheep we studied 16 anesthetized sheep. Seven sheep (1-7) were subjected to two 30-min periods of eucapnic hyperventilation breathing 1) warm humid air [100% relative humidity (rh)] followed by 2) warm dry air [0% rh] at 40 breaths/min. To determine whether there was a dose-response effect on blood flow of increasing levels of hyperventilation of dry air, another nine sheep (8-16) were subjected to four 30-min periods of eucapnic hyperventilation breathing warm humid O2 followed by warm dry O2 at 20 or 40 breaths/min in random sequence. Five minutes before the end of each period of hyperventilation, hemodynamics, blood gases, and tracheal mucosal temperature were measured, and tracheal and bronchial blood flows were determined by injection of 15- or 50-micron-diam radiolabeled microspheres. After the last measurements had been made, all sheep were killed, and the lungs and trachea were removed for determination of blood flow to trachea, bronchi, and parenchyma. In sheep 1-7, warm dry air hyperventilation at 40 breaths/min produced an increase in blood flow to trachea (7.6 +/- 3.5 to 17.0 +/- 6.2 ml/min, P less than 0.05) and bronchi (9.0 +/- 5.4 to 18.2 +/- 8.2 ml/min, P less than 0.05) but not to the parenchyma. When blood flow was compared with the two ventilatory rates (sheep 8-16), tracheal blood flow increased (9.1 +/- 3.3 to 18.2 +/- 6.1 ml/min, P less than 0.05) at a rate of 40 breaths/min but not at 20 breaths/min.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

With the aim to study effectiveness+ of endolymphatic (EL) administration of ampicillin (AC), using the model of an acute diffuse septic peritonitis in dogs, the morphological and morphometrical investigation has been performed concerning the state of the lymph nodes (LN), which are regional as regards the pathological focus (pelvic) and remote (tracheobronchial, mesenteric) and hemomicrocirculatory bed (HMCB) of the small intestine mesentery. All LN groups studied are involved in the pathological process, that produces certain increasing disturbances in the structure and cell composition in LN. In 6 h the changes are especially manifested in the pelvic LN, and in 18 h--in the animals without application of AC, or at its intramuscular injection LN lose their typical structure. Their dimensions and number of lymphoid nodules++ and medullary cords decrease, a sharp impoverishment of lymphocytes in LN is observed. By this time critical disturbances in the HMCB structure develop; they are characterized as presence of great amount of avascular areas in the mesentery, extended capillary loops, plasmatic saturation of interstitium. When AC is injected endolymphatically, simultaneously with peritonitis modelling T- and B-dependent zones in LN are preserved, a high volumetric part of lymphocytes is kept in all groups of LN, structure and function of HMCB are normalized. The pronounced delay in development and decreasing manifestation of infective-toxic disorder in LN and HMCB depend on effective concentrations of the antibiotic, produces in the lymphatic system.  相似文献

Introduction

Women with fibromyalgia (FM) have symptoms of increased muscular fatigue and reduced exercise tolerance, which may be associated with alterations in muscle microcirculation and oxygen metabolism. This study used near-infrared diffuse optical spectroscopies to noninvasively evaluate muscle blood flow, blood oxygenation and oxygen metabolism during leg fatiguing exercise and during arm arterial cuff occlusion in post-menopausal women with and without FM.

Methods

Fourteen women with FM and twenty-three well-matched healthy controls participated in this study. For the fatiguing exercise protocol, the subject was instructed to perform 6 sets of 12 isometric contractions of knee extensor muscles with intensity steadily increasing from 20 to 70% maximal voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC). For the cuff occlusion protocol, forearm arterial blood flow was occluded via a tourniquet on the upper arm for 3 minutes. Leg or arm muscle hemodynamics, including relative blood flow (rBF), oxy- and deoxy-hemoglobin concentration ([HbO2] and [Hb]), total hemoglobin concentration (THC) and blood oxygen saturation (StO2), were continuously monitored throughout protocols using a custom-built hybrid diffuse optical instrument that combined a commercial near-infrared oximeter for tissue oxygenation measurements and a custom-designed diffuse correlation spectroscopy (DCS) flowmeter for tissue blood flow measurements. Relative oxygen extraction fraction (rOEF) and oxygen consumption rate (rVO2) were calculated from the measured blood flow and oxygenation data. Post-manipulation (fatiguing exercise or cuff occlusion) recovery in muscle hemodynamics was characterized by the recovery half-time, a time interval from the end of manipulation to the time that tissue hemodynamics reached a half-maximal value.

Results

Subjects with FM had similar hemodynamic and metabolic response/recovery patterns as healthy controls during exercise and during arterial occlusion. However, tissue rOEF during exercise in subjects with FM was significantly lower than in healthy controls, and the half-times of oxygenation recovery (Δ[HbO2] and Δ[Hb]) were significantly longer following fatiguing exercise and cuff occlusion.

Conclusions

Our results suggest an alteration of muscle oxygen utilization in the FM population. This study demonstrates the potential of using combined diffuse optical spectroscopies (i.e., NIRS/DCS) to comprehensively evaluate tissue oxygen and flow kinetics in skeletal muscle.  相似文献

Background

Systolic blood flow has been simulated in the abdominal aorta and the superior mesenteric artery. The simulations were carried out using two different computational hemodynamic methods: the finite element method to solve the Navier Stokes equations and the lattice Boltzmann method.

Results

We have validated the lattice Boltzmann method for systolic flows by comparing the veloCity and pressure profiles of simulated blood flow between methods. We have also analyzed flow-specific characteristics such as the formation of a vortex at curvatures and traces of flow.

Conclusion

The lattice Boltzmann Method is as accurate as a Navier Stokes solver for computing complex blood flows. As such it is a good alternative for computational hemodynamics, certainly in situation where coupling to other models is required.  相似文献

Background

Cardiac tamponade is a condition whereby fluid accumulation in the pericardial sac surrounding the heart causes elevation and equilibration of pericardial and cardiac chamber pressures, reduced cardiac output, changes in hemodynamics, partial chamber collapse, pulsus paradoxus, and arterio-venous acid-base disparity. Our large-scale model of the human cardiovascular-respiratory system (H-CRS) is employed to study mechanisms underlying cardiac tamponade and pulsus paradoxus. The model integrates hemodynamics, whole-body gas exchange, and autonomic nervous system control to simulate pressure, volume, and blood flow.  相似文献

In our previous article (Am J Physiol Adv Physiol Educ 272: S26-S30, 1997) we proposed a model that permits analysis for the change of hemodynamics in vessels with local stenosis. This problem is connected with the blood-tissue metabolism. This article continues the classroom research on concepts related to blood flow physiology. We take into consideration the problem of the blood-tissue fluid exchange. A model based on basic principles of hydrodynamics and mathematics is proposed for analysis of "filtration-reabsorption equilibrium" and its disturbances under different external influences. It permits medical students to develop a scientific analytic approach to the solution of physiological and pathophysiological hemodynamics problems.  相似文献

Pregnancy is associated with profound changes in renal hemodynamics and electrolyte handling. Relaxin, a hormone secreted by the corpus luteum, has been shown to induce pregnancy-like increases in renal blood flow and glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and alter osmoregulation in nonpregnant female and male rats. However, its effects on renal electrolyte handling are unknown. Accordingly, the influence of short (2 h)- and long-term (7 day) infusion of relaxin on renal function was determined in the male rat. Short term infusion of recombinant human relaxin (rhRLX) at 4 microg.h(-1).100 g body wt(-1) induced a significant increase in effective renal blood flow (ERBF) within 45 min, which peaked at 2 h of infusion (vehicle, n = 6, 2.1 +/- 0.4 vs. rhRLX, n = 7, 8.1 +/- 1.1 ml.min(-1).100 g body wt(-1), P < 0.01). GFR and urinary excretion of electrolytes were unaffected. After a 7-day infusion of rhRLX at 4 microg/h, ERBF (1.4 +/- 0.2 vs. 2.5 +/- 0.4 ml.min(-1).100 g body wt(-1), P < 0.05), urine flow rate (3.1 +/- 0.3 vs. 4.3 +/- 0.4 microl.min(-1).100 g body wt(-1), P < 0.05) and urinary sodium excretion (0.8 +/- 0.1 vs. 1.2 +/- 0.1 micromol.min(-1).100 g body wt(-1), P < 0.05) were significantly higher; plasma osmolality and sodium concentrations were lower in rhRLX-treated rats. These data show that long-term relaxin infusion induces a natriuresis and diuresis in the male rat. The mechanisms involved are unclear, but they do not involve changes in plasma aldosterone or atrial natriuretic peptide concentrations.  相似文献

Head-down tilt has been shown to increase lung water content in animals and alter the distribution of ventilation in humans; however, its effects on the distribution of pulmonary blood flow in humans are unknown. We hypothesized that head-down tilt would increase the heterogeneity of pulmonary blood flow in humans, an effect analogous to the changes seen in the distribution of ventilation, by increasing capillary hydrostatic pressure and fluid efflux in the lung. To test this, we evaluated changes in the distribution of pulmonary blood flow in seven normal subjects before and after 1 h of 30 degrees head-down tilt using the magnetic resonance imaging technique of arterial spin labeling. Data were acquired in triplicate before tilt and at 10-min intervals for 1 h after tilt. Pulmonary blood flow heterogeneity was quantified by the relative dispersion (standard deviation/mean) of signal intensity for all voxels within the right lung. Relative dispersion was significantly increased by 29% after tilt and remained elevated during the 1 h of measurements after tilt (0.84 +/- 0.06 pretilt, 1.09 +/- 0.09 calculated for all time points posttilt, P < 0.05). We speculate that the mechanism most likely responsible for our findings is that increased pulmonary capillary pressures and fluid efflux in the lung resulting from head-down tilt alters regional blood flow distribution.  相似文献

We present a first in vivo application of phase dual‐slopes (DS?), measured with frequency‐domain near‐infrared spectroscopy on four healthy human subjects, to demonstrate their enhanced sensitivity to cerebral hemodynamics. During arterial blood pressure oscillations elicited at a frequency of 0.1 Hz, we compare three different ways to analyze either intensity (I) or phase (?) data collected on the subject's forehead at multiple source‐detector distances: Single‐distance, single‐slope and DS. Theoretical calculations based on diffusion theory show that the method with the deepest maximal sensitivity (at about 11 mm) is DS?. The in vivo results indicate a qualitative difference of phase data (especially DS?) and intensity data (especially single‐distance intensity [SDI]), which we assign to stronger contributions from scalp hemodynamics to SDI and from cortical hemodynamics to DS?. Our findings suggest that scalp hemodynamic oscillations may be dominated by blood volume dynamics, whereas cortical hemodynamics may be dominated by blood flow velocity dynamics.  相似文献

Local cerebral glucose metabolism (LCMRglc) and local cerebral blood flow (LCBF) were studied following implantation of a microdialysis fiber in rat dorsal hippocampus. Recovery time after implantation varied from 0 to 24 h. All rats showed pronounced disturbances in LCMRglc and LCBF during the first 2 h of implantation. The changes consisted of (a) a general decrease in blood flow and glucose phosphorylation and (b) small areas (spots) around the fiber with increased glucose phosphorylation and decreased blood flow. Animals allowed to recover for 24 h demonstrated a near normalization of LCMRglu and LCBF, and the focal disturbances (spots) of glucose phosphorylation and blood flow disappeared. The slight reduction in blood flow and glucose metabolism at this time must be accepted, because extension of the recovery period beyond 24 h may give interpretation problems due to the developing gliosis.  相似文献

ObjectivePoor total cavopulmonary connection (TCPC) hemodynamics have been hypothesized to be associated with long-term complications in Fontan patients. Image-based Fontan surgical planning has shown great potential as a clinical tool because it can pre-operatively evaluate patient-specific hemodynamics. Current surgical planning paradigms commonly utilize cardiac-gated phase contrast magnetic resonance (MR) imaging to acquire vessel flows. These acquisitions are often taken under breath-held (BH) conditions and ignore the effect of respiration on blood flow waveforms. This study investigates the effect of respiration-driven flow waveforms on patient-specific hemodynamics using real-time MR acquisitions.MethodsPatient-specific TCPCs were reconstructed from cardiovascular MR images. Real-time phase contrast MR images were acquired under both free-breathing (FB) and breath-held conditions for 9 patients. Numerical simulations were employed to assess flow structures and hemodynamics used in Fontan surgical planning including hepatic flow distribution (HFD) and indexed power loss (iPL), which were then compared between FB and BH conditions.ResultsDifferences in TCPC flow structures between FB and BH conditions were observed throughout the respiratory cycle. However, the average differences (BH – FB values for each patient, which are then averaged) in iPL and HFD between these conditions were 0.002 ± 0.011 (p = 0.40) and 1 ± 3% (p = 0.28), respectively, indicating no significant difference in clinically important hemodynamic metrics.ConclusionsRespiration affects blood flow waveforms and flow structures, but might not significantly influence the values of iPL or HFD. Therefore, breath-held MR acquisition can be adequate for Fontan surgical planning when focusing on iPL and HFD.  相似文献

Sepsis-induced nitric oxide (NO) overproduction has been implicated in a redistribution of flow from the pancreas making it vulnerable to ischemic injury in septic shock. To test this hypothesis in a remote injury model of normotensive sepsis, we induced Pseudomonas pneumonia in the rat and used intravital video microscopy (IVVM) of the pancreas to measure functional capillary density, capillary hemodynamics [red blood cell (RBC) velocity, lineal density, and supply rate], and lethal cellular damage (propidium iodine staining) at 6 and 24 h after the induction of pneumonia. With pneumonia, plasma nitrite/nitrate [NO2(-)/NO3(-)(NOx(-))] levels were doubled by 21 h (P < 0.05). To assess the effect of NO overproduction on microvascular perfusion, N6-(1-iminoethyl)-L-lysine (L-NIL) was administered to maintain NOx(-) levels at baseline. Pneumonia did cause a decrease in RBC velocity of 23% by 6 h, but by 24 h RBC velocity and supply rate had increased relative to sham by 22 and 38%, respectively (P < 0.05). L-NIL treatment demonstrated that this increase was due to NO overproduction. With pneumonia, there was no change in functional capillary density and only modest increases in cellular damage. We conclude that, in this normotensive pneumonia model of sepsis, NO overproduction was protective of microvascular perfusion in the pancreas.  相似文献

Osmotic minipumps containing 400 micrograms ovine LH were inserted subcutaneously (sc) on day 1 (estrus) at 09:00-10:00h of the cycle in the hamster. This treatment induced increased ovarian blood flow by day 3 and superovulation of 30.0 +/- 1.4 ova at the next estrus compared to controls (16.5 +/- 0.8 ova). The continuous infusion of LH throughout the cycle increased prostaglandin F (PGF) and decreased prostaglandin E (PGE) in the growing follicles destined to ovulate and suppressed a day 3 increase in PGF concentrations in the nonluteal ovarian remnant devoid of the larger follicles. Indomethacin, a cyclooxygenase inhibitor, given sc (2 or 4 mg regimens) at 12:00-14:00h on days 1 and 2, at 09:00h and 17:00h on day 3 and at 09:00h on day 4 of the cycle to LH-infused and saline treated animals suppressed ovarian prostaglandin levels, prevented the superovulation and prevented the increased ovarian blood flow. Exogenous PGF2 alpha or PGE2 restored the superovulatory effect of LH infusion in the presence of indomethacin. The results suggest that the superovulation in response to continuous LH infusion may be mediated in part by prostaglandins via altered ovarian blood flow.  相似文献

Anesthesia affects general hemodynamics and regulation of organ perfusion. We used colored microspheres to measure pancreatic islet blood flow in conscious rats at two time points, during either hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia. This method, using black and green microspheres, was validated by comparison with previous microsphere experiments and by lack of effect of a nonmetabolizable glucose analog, 3-O-methylglucose, on islet perfusion. Basal and glucose-stimulated islet blood flow levels were similar in pentobarbital sodium-anesthetized and conscious rats. However, the basal distribution of pancreatic blood flow was altered by anesthesia (fractional islet blood flow 5.8 +/- 0.4% in conscious rats, 7.9 +/- 0.8% in pentobarbital-anesthetized rats, P < 0.05). Insulin-induced hypoglycemia significantly increased whole pancreatic blood flow in conscious rats, whereas islet blood flow remained unchanged and fractional islet blood flow was decreased (5.8 +/- 0.5% in the basal state, 4.2 +/- 0.4% during hypoglycemia, P < 0.001). Methylatropine pretreatment significantly increased islet blood flow during hypoglycemia by 181%. This result suggests that prevention of hypoglycemia-induced increase in islet perfusion may be mediated, at least in part, by a cholinergic, vagal muscarinic mechanism.  相似文献

Hyperviscosity syndrome (HVS) is characterized by an increase of the blood viscosity by up to seven times the normal blood viscosity, resulting in disturbances to the circulation in the vasculature system. HVS is commonly associated with an increase of large plasma proteins and abnormalities in the properties of red blood cells, such as cell interactions, cell stiffness, and increased hematocrit. Here, we perform a systematic study of the effect of each biophysical factor on the viscosity of blood by employing the dissipative particle dynamic method. Our in silico platform enables manipulation of each parameter in isolation, providing a unique scheme to quantify and accurately investigate the role of each factor in increasing the blood viscosity. To study the effect of these four factors independently, each factor was elevated more than its values for a healthy blood while the other factors remained constant, and viscosity measurement was performed for different hematocrits and flow rates. Although all four factors were found to increase the overall blood viscosity, these increases were highly dependent on the hematocrit and the flow rates imposed. The effect of cell aggregation and cell concentration on blood viscosity were predominantly observed at low shear rates, in contrast to the more magnified role of cell rigidity and plasma viscosity at high shear rates. Additionally, cell-related factors increase the whole blood viscosity at high hematocrits compared with the relative role of plasma-related factors at lower hematocrits. Our results, mapped onto the flow rates and hematocrits along the circulatory system, provide a correlation to underpinning mechanisms for HVS findings in different blood vessels.  相似文献

Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia is accompanied by hypotension, which can affect vascular hemodynamics. Here, we hypothesized that a fall in blood flow as a result of hypotension has a larger effect on hemodynamics in medium-sized peripheral arteries compared with increased pulsatility in rapid pacing. To test this hypothesis, we experimentally and theoretically investigated hemodynamic changes in femoral, carotid, and subclavian arteries at heart rates of 95-170 beats/min after acute pacing. The arterial pressure, blood flow, and other hemodynamic parameters remained statistically unchanged for heart rates ≤ 135 beats/min. Systemic pressure and flow velocities, however, showed an abrupt decrease, resulting in larger alteration of hemodynamic parameters for heart rates ≥ 155 beats/min after pacing (initial period) and then recovered close to baseline after several minutes of pacing (recovery period). During the initial period, the pressure dropped from 88 mmHg (baseline) to 44 mmHg, and the flow velocity decreased to about one-third of baseline at heart rate of 170 beats/min. A hemodynamic analysis showed a velocity profile with a near-wall retrograde flow or a fully reversed flow during the initial period, which vanished at the recovery period. It was concluded that the initial fall of blood flow due to pressure drop led to transient flow reversal and negative wall shear stress because this phenomena was not observed at the recovery period. This study underscores the significant effects of hypotension on vascular hemodynamics, which may have relevance to physiology and chronic pathophysiology in paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia.  相似文献

Study Overview

The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes is higher in pregnancies where the fetus is male. Sex specific differences in feto-placental perfusion indices identified by Doppler assessment have recently been associated with placental insufficiency and fetal growth restriction. This study aims to investigate sex specific differences in placental perfusion and to correlate these changes with fetal growth. It represents the largest comprehensive study under field conditions of uterine hemodynamics in a monotocous species, with a similar long gestation period to the human. Primiparous 14mo heifers in Australia (n=360) and UK (n=180) were either individually or group fed, respectively, diets with differing protein content (18, 14, 10 or 7% crude protein (CP)) from 60d prior to 98 days post conception (dpc). Fetuses and placentae were excised at 98dpc (n = 48). Fetal development an median uterine artery blood flow were assessed monthly from 36dpc until term using B-mode and Doppler ultrasonography. MUA blood flow to the male feto-placental unit increased in early pregnancy associated with increased fetal growth. Protein restriction before and shortly after conception (-60d up to 23dpc) increased MUA diameter and indices of velocity during late pregnancy, reduced fetal heart weight in the female fetus and increased heart rate at birth, but decreased systolic blood pressure at six months of age.

Conclusion and Significance

Sex specific differences both in feto-placental Doppler perfusion indices and response of these indices to dietary perturbations were observed. Further, maternal diet affected development of fetal cardiovascular system associated with altered fetal haemodynamics in utero, with such effects having a sex bias. The results from this study provide further insight into the gender specific circulatory differences present in the fetal period and developing cardiovascular system.  相似文献
