Prefabricated sensate myocutaneous and osteomyocutaneous free flaps: an experimental model. Preliminary report

Principles of neovascularization have been reported for the successful creation of a variety of muscle and bone free flaps. This study demonstrates a simple and effective technique for construction of prefabricated sensate myocutaneous and osteomyocutaneous free flaps in a rat model. These experiments were carried out in 20 Sprague-Dawley male rats. In half the animals, a sensate myocutaneous flap was constructed by sandwiching the superficial inferior epigastric vessels between a laterally based external abdominal oblique muscle flap and a laterally based skin flap served by an identified cutaneous nerve. A similar preparation included a piece of iliac crest bone. Two to three weeks later, now neovascularized by the sandwiched vessels, the flaps were harvested and transferred as free flaps with high reliability. An increased number of potential donor sites, the versatility of design, and the ability to customize flaps to the specific recipient-site needs are proffered.

Lymphocyte subpopulations in Lynch syndrome II: an immunocytochemical study on gastrointestinal biopsies. Preliminary report

Gastrointestinal biopsies from 18 members of a family with Lynch Syndrome II were evaluated and immunocytochemical studies were made to characterize the phenotypic expression of the tissue's immune populations. The intestinal findings suggest polyclonal B-cell activation related to the T-helper distribution. Our evaluation provides no specific information so far on the management of patients with Lynch Syndrome II.     

心源性睡眠呼吸异常：心衰患者睡眠期间陈-施呼吸 机制探讨的初步报告*

目的: 探讨心衰患者陈施呼吸的发生率及发生机制。方法: 连续入选2015年3月~2015年5月于阜外医院行睡眠呼吸监测的患者56例,分为心衰组和非心衰组。结果: 两组睡眠呼吸暂停的发生率均较高,心衰组11例患者中呼吸暂停低通气指数（AHI）>5的有10例,平均AHI指数23.93±14.63;非心衰组45例患者中AHI>5的有33例,平均AHI指数16.20±18.76;心衰组中枢性睡眠呼吸暂停（CSA）次数占睡眠呼吸暂停总数的比例明显大于非心衰组病人,分别为80.21%±30.55%和27.16%±35.71%,P<0.01。结论: 心脏的循环功能和肺脏的呼吸功能是联合一体化,相互联系、互为因果而又互相影响。慢性心力衰竭的循环障碍促成了潮式呼吸的发生,所以称之为心源性呼吸睡眠异常。     

沟眶象食物源引诱剂开发初报

为了探索可准确监测与控制沟眶象成虫种群数量的新技术,本文开发了一种沟眶象食物源引诱剂,并研究了不同配方的引诱剂对沟眶象成虫的诱集效果,结果表明:5种配方对沟眶象成虫的引诱效果均显著高于对照,在沟眶象羽化期内共诱捕沟眶象成虫1212头,其中以B配方(苹果:绵白糖:陈醋:95%酒精:大豆油:尼泊金甲酯:山梨酸钾:蒸馏水=2.7 g、1.5 g、6.15 g、4.8 g、0.162 g、0.9 g、0.9 g、60 g)引诱效果最好,共诱捕沟眶象成虫350头;一天中最佳引诱时段是6∶00-10∶00,诱捕器最佳设置高度为0 m(即将诱捕器桶体埋于土中,使桶体上缘与地表齐平,进虫口暴露于地表);沟眶象羽化高峰期为6月13日-7月4日和8月14日-9月5日两个时间段。     

Preliminary evaluation of mast cells in rats with an experimental fibrosarcoma induced by 3-methylcholanthrene

The aim of the study was the evaluation of mast cells in experimental fibrosarcoma induced in the rats' skin. Experiments were carried out on 50 male Wistar rats divided into three groups: 1. The cancer was induced in 34 rats' by onefold subcutaneous injection of 0.2 mg 3-methylcholanthrene in 0. 25 ml of olive oil; 2.--8 rats received subcutaneous injection of 0.25 ml olive oil; and 3.--8 rats, no treatment. The tumors developed after 14-35 weeks. The examined tumors had the mass of 1 g to 176 g--mean 15 g. Tissue material was fixed in Carnoy's or Bouin's fluid. Paraffin sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin and using Azan methods. Mast cells were stained with alcjan blue+saphranin and with toluidine blue in pH 1.5. Immunohistochemical reactions detecting tryptase in mast cells and von Willebrand Factor in endothelial cells were also performed--using specific antibodies (DAKO) and ABC complex. We have found a very significant growth of the quantity of mast cells in the connective tissue of tumours. The distinct increase in immunostaining was found for tryptase in mast cells of the tumor periphery zone, where most areas of strong neoangiogenesis were found.     

Animal experimental and clinical studies on the behavior of an in vitro electrically produced thrombus mass

In the electric field the solid blood components will move to the anode because of their negative surface charge. When influenced by a direct current of constant force and duration a thrombus differing in size will develop depending on the composition of the coagulation system. This regularity could be used for diagnostic purposes. By means of experiments with animals and clinical examinations the development of the "electro-clot" is observed in vitro before and after the administration of heparin. In addition, the behaviour of the thrombus developed in vitro in the electric field is checked in patients affected with obstructive lung diseases. Here a correlation existing between the mass of the thrombus and hematocrit could be proved.
