The work presents the data on the development and realization of the complex of social and hygienic, as well as organizational and preventive measures for dysentery control at institutions for children of preschool age in one of the regions of our country. This complex comprises the improvement of "epidemiological" knowledge of the staff, preventive orientation in the work of the epidemiological section of the local Sanitary Epidemiological Station, the spread of sanitary and hygienic knowledge children and in their families, the improvement of material and technical equipment of children's institutions. The complex proved to be highly effective: at institutions for children of preschool age morbidity -ate in dysentery decrease 4--5 times, and its specific falue dropped from 40% to 5.4%, the frequency of positive results given by tests for the presence of intestinal microflora in washings from various objects decreased more than 25 times. Morbidity rate at institutions for children of preschool age decreased 4--5 times as compared with that among children not attending such institutions. The above data suggest the necessity of introducing this experience in other regions of our country.  相似文献

The epidemiological and immunological evaluation of two immunization schedules approved by the Orders of the USSR Ministry of Health No. 322 of April 24, 1973, and No. 50 of January 14, 1980, has been made on the basis of the results obtained in the Brest region of the Byelorussian SSR and in the Turkmen SSR. According to these results, the use of the schedule approved by Order No. 50 has made it possible to increase the groups of children receiving correct and timely immunization with measles vaccine by 8.3% and 28.8% and with adsorbed DPT vaccine by 17.2% and 5.5% in the Brest region of the Byelorussian SSR and in the Turkmen SSR respectively. Considerable groups of children have been found to be immunized with deviations from the approved schedules with respect to the scheme and time of immunization: 62.1% and 44.5% in the Brest region, 81.3% and 80.5% in the Turkmen SSR (during the periods of the implementation of Orders No. 322 and No. 50 respectively). Acute respiratory viral infections, bronchitis and pneumonia have proved to be the main reasons for medical exemption from immunization in both republics, these diseases constituting 61.6-71.1% of all medical contraindications. The negative influence of earlier infectious diseases on the level of postvaccinal immunity has been shown.  相似文献

Two battery tests were conducted to study the anticryptosporidial prophylactic efficacy of the 2 commercially available antibiotics, enrofloxacin and paromomycin. The efficacy of enrofloxacin was 52% at the recommended level, which could not be increased, using twice the recommended dose. At the recommended levels, paromomycin reduced the oocyst output of birds by 67-82%, showing the highest efficacy of all drugs tested against avian cryptosporidiosis thus far. Moreover, the patent period was shortened by 12-23%. The body weight gain of paromomycin-treated chickens was almost identical with that of uninfected, untreated control birds irrespective of dosage, indicating the lack of toxicity. Although paromomycin is not registered for use in birds, in combination with sanitary procedures and disinfection, it may help in the control of cryptosporidiosis in some bird facilities.  相似文献
