马鞍列岛褐菖鲉Sebasticus marmoratus栖息地适宜性评价   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2

为了评估趋礁鱼类在岛礁海域的生境适宜度,选取马鞍列岛的褐菖鲉(Sebasticus marmoratus)为指示物种,以2009年获取的水深、盐度、叶绿素a、浊度和底质数据作为褐菖鲉春、冬季栖息地指示因子,建立栖息地适宜度曲线,并计算各站点的栖息地适宜性指数(HSI)。结果显示:1)绿华、花鸟、嵊山沿岸站点HSI普遍较低,枸杞岛、三横山、东库山沿岸站点褐菖鲉HSI相对较高,其中最大值1.0出现在枸杞岛沿岸的站点;2)春季褐菖鲉幼鱼的适宜水深在6 m左右,成鱼适宜在8—12 m的水深处生存;冬季褐菖鲉对8—12 m的水深适宜性良好;3)春季所有褐菖鲉的适宜盐度为30PSU,冬季幼鱼的适宜盐度为27—31PSU,成鱼的适宜盐度为27PSU、31PSU;4)随着叶绿素a和浊度值的增大,褐菖鲉适宜性逐渐降低。底质类型为岩时最适合褐菖鲉生存。5)相关分析显示,褐菖鲉丰度与底质类型相关性最大,而与叶绿素a、浊度呈显著负相关。研究结果表明,初级生产力和浑浊程度越高对褐菖鲉丰度抑制越明显。底质类型是褐菖鲉丰度分布的重要影响因子,其中分布有较多大型海藻的岩礁生境是其最适宜的栖息地。利用2010年春、冬季环境调查和渔获数据进行HSI模型验证,资源丰度随HSI值升高而增加,因此构建的模型可用于趋礁鱼类在岛礁海域的栖息地适宜性分析。  相似文献

Embryonic, larval, and juvenile development of a Japanese cottid fish Pseudoblennius marmoratus is described from laboratory-reared specimens. Eggs of P. marmoratus resembled those of two congeners, Pseudoblennius cottoides and Pseudoblennius percoides, but differed in their smaller diameter and yolk color. Although the larvae and juveniles of P. marmoratus were also similar to them in general morphology, the former differed in the lengths of newly hatched larvae, pigmentation patterns, number of pectoral fin rays, and dorsal fin spine elongation.  相似文献

We studied spatial niche metrics of large-bodied newts (Triturus cristatus and T. marmoratus) in three breeding ponds in western France. Adults and larvae were sampled with underwater funnel traps. Larvae were identified to the species with diagnostic microsatellite DNA markers. The distribution of adult T. cristatus and T. marmoratus across pond regions differed in one out of six cases, no differences were observed between larvae (two ponds studied). Niche overlap and niche breadth indices across resource states defined as pond regions or individual traps were high (Schoener's C: pond regions 0.60–0.98, traps 0.35–0.71; Levins' B: pond regions 0.71–0.98, traps 0.35–0.76). Adults of large-bodied newts significantly differed in resource use from small-bodied newts (T. helveticus). The results are discussed in view of the occurrence of interspecific breeding attempts, and the unpredictable ecological characteristics of newt breeding ponds.  相似文献

We conducted anatomical and histological observations of the gonads in the self-fertilizing mangrove killifish, Kryptolebias marmoratus to investigate the self-fertilizing mechanism of this species. The gonad has a bilobed structure. The elongated gonadal lumen (GL) along the dorsal surface of the gonad connects to the common genital sinus. The elongate testicular region is closely attached to the GL. Among the ovulated eggs in the GL, those in the anterior part of the GL have micropyles but no perivitelline space (are not yet fertilized), whereas those in the posterior part of the GL are fertilized. In our histological analysis, we found free sperm in the posterior area of the GL. We conclude that ovulated eggs may be self-fertilized in the posterior GL.  相似文献

The mangrove killifish Rivulus marmoratus was reared at 25°±1°C and 17ppt salinity from 0 to 100 days after hatching (DAH), and its early development was described by examining growth and morphometric parameters, meristic characters (vertebral and fin-ray counts), bone-cartilage development, and pigmentation. Growth was isometric for preanal length, head length, snout length, body depth, pectoral-fin length, dorsal-fin length, anal-fin length, and caudal-peduncle depth. Negative allometric growth was observed in eye diameter and gape size. Meristic counts (mean±SD) for vertebrae (34.2±0.4) and dorsal- (8.6±0.5), anal- (11.4±0.5), and caudal-fin rays (30.2±0.8) were complete at 0 DAH (n=5), whereas pectoral-fin rays and pelvic-fin rays were complete by 30 DAH (14.5±0.4, n=5) and 60 DAH (4.2±0.8, n=5). Full ossification of meristic elements proceeded in the following sequence: vertebrae (by 30 DAH), caudal-, dorsal-, and anal-fin rays (by 60 DAH), pectoral-fin rays (between 60 DAH and 100 DAH), and pelvic-fin rays (by 100 DAH). Both morphological characters and meristic counts indicate that this species can be considered to be a juvenile after 9.8mm in standard length (20 DAH).  相似文献

We isolated Rivulus marmoratus mitochondrial DNA by long-polymerase chain reaction with conserved primers, and sequenced it with 36 sets of internal conserved primers, which were designed from the extensive sequence similarities of mitochondrial DNA from several fish species. The R. marmoratus mitochondrial DNA has 17,329 bp with a conserved structural organization compared to those of other fish. Rivulus marmoratus mitochondrial DNA also has two nearly identical control regions. The basic characteristics of the R. marmoratus mitochondrial genome are discussed.  相似文献

Experiments were carried out to investigate the heart rate of Synbranchus marmoratus after changing the temperature of the water contained in the experimental chamber of the acclimated fish (from 25 to 35°C and from 25 to 15°C). Then, an isometric cardiac muscle preparation was used to test the relative importance of Ca2+ released from the sarcoplasmic reticulum and Ca2+ influx across the sarcolemma for the cardiac performance under different thermal conditions: 25°C (acclimation temperature), 15 and 35°C. Adrenaline and ryanodine were used to modulate the Ca2+ flux through the sarcolemma and the sarcoplasmic reticulum, respectively. Ryanodine reduced the peak tension by approximately 47% at 25°C, and by 53% at 35°C; however, it had no effect at 15°C. A high adrenaline concentration was able to ameliorate the negative effects of ryanodine. Despite increasing the peak tension, adrenaline increased the times necessary for contraction and relaxation. We conclude that the sarcoplasmic reticulum is active in contributing Ca2+ to the development of tension at physiological contraction frequencies. The adrenaline-stimulated Ca2+ influx is able to increase the peak tension, even after addition of ryanodine, at physiologically relevant temperatures and pacing frequencies.  相似文献

Retinoid X receptors (RXRs) are highly conserved members of the nuclear receptor family and mediate various physiological processes in vertebrates. Most studies on RXRs have concentrated on their structure and function in mammals and their characterization and developmental expression in Danio rerio. However, there is little information concerning the distribution of RXRs in teleost tissues. In the present study, we cloned partial sequences of three RXR subtypes (RXRa, -b, -g) from Sebastiscus marmoratus by RACE PCR and analyzed the phylogeny of the teleost and the tetrapod RXR genes, and identified some inconsistencies with previous studies. The tissue-specific and embryonic expression profiles of each RXR gene were explored using real time quantitative PCR. This analysis demonstrated that these RXRs were expressed in all test tissues indicating their participation in many physiological processes. However, we found a great difference in the distribution of RXRg between teleosts and mammals. Furthermore, we followed expression of the three subtypes through various embryo developmental stages and found that the RXRa orthologues of teleosts might be involved in the development of the anterior hindbrain, tailbud and neural crest and in the formation of the pharynx and fin, that RXRb played ubiquitous roles in fish early development, and that RXRg probably played a role in brain and nervous system development and function.  相似文献

Synopsis Interspecific differences in blood hemoglobin concentration ([Hb]) occur among air breathing fishes. However, the effect on [Hb] of factors such as air-breathing organ structure and blood circulation pattern, air breathing behavior, as well as season and environmental conditions have not been fully examined. [Hb] in seven Panamanian species of air-breathing freshwater teleost fishes were compared and were monitored for most species during the wet and dry seasons and in hypoxic laboratory conditions. Fishes studied were Ancistrus, Hypostomus, and Loricaria (Family Loricariidae); Hoplosternum (Callichthyidae); Synbranchus (Synbranchidae); Piabucina (Lebiasinidae); and Dormitator (Eleotridae). [Hb] in these species ranged from 4.8 to 14.6 g 100 ml–1 (g%). Ancistrus, Hypostomus, and Dormitator significantly increased [Hb] during the dry season and, with Piabucina, also increased [Hb] when acclimated to hypoxia in the laboratory. An increase in [Hb] during the dry season may precondition facultative air breathers for habitat hypoxia (and the need to respire aerially) in the event this occurs. Intraspecific differences in both [Hb] and in red cell Hb-phosphate ratio, an index of oxygen affinity, were found in populations of Hypostomus and relate directly to differences in habitat oxygen level. In all species tested alterations in blood hematocrit (Hmct) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) occurred only with correspondingly large net changes in blood [Hb]. The [Hb] of Loricaria, Synbranchus, and Hoplosternum was not affected by season or hypoxia and this may be due to behavioral and physiological adaptations that reduce the transbranchial loss of aerially-obtained oxygen or to a ventilatory mode that precludes this possibility.  相似文献

The identification of pure indigenous fish from hybridised populations represents a key issue in fisheries management and conservation biology. In the present study an approach for selection of purebred marble trout (Salmo trutta marmoratus C.) individuals out of admixed populations was set up and assessed. In a first step, baseline data sets of pure marble trout and pure brown trout specimens based on twelve microsatellite loci were used to simulate five consecutive generations of admixture. The baseline and the resulting simulation data sets were then combined with data of a ‘real’ hybridised marble trout population to perform a single individual assignment test as implemented in STRUCTURE. By this procedure the assignment approach was calibrated and it was possible to compare admixture coefficients obtained for individuals from different populations. The ranking of individual admixture coefficients on a plot and comparison with simulated data revealed that the test population was composed of pure marble trout individuals, first generation hybrids between marble trout and brown trout, and hybrid backcross specimens between both groups. However, by defining a critical q-value of 0.1 and additionally integrating individual sequence data of the mtDNA control region, it was possible to indicate individuals, which could be selected for the establishment of a pure marble trout strain.  相似文献

The marble trout, a lineage of the Salmo trutta complex, is endemic to the Southern Alpine region. Although it is endangered throughout its entire distribution range, population genetic data were lacking for the central area, including the upper Etsch/Adige River system (South Tyrol, Northern Italy). A total of 672 Salmo trutta specimens, comprising phenotypic marble trout and phenotypic brown trout, from 20 sampling sites throughout South Tyrol were analysed by sequencing the complete mitochondrial DNA control region. Thirteen distinct haplotypes were identified, which clustered within three major genetic lineages: the Marmoratus (MA), the Atlantic (AT) and the Danubian (DA) lineage. 41.7% of the investigated individuals carried haplotypes of the MA lineage, 47.9% of the AT lineage and 10.4% of the DA lineage. It is noticeable that AT haplotypes were present at all sampling sites and no “pure” marble trout population with exclusively MA haplotypes was found. This points to a considerable impact of stocking with allochthonous brown trout, given that there is no evidence for natural colonisation by individuals of the AT lineage. However, our data indicate, for at least four localities, a limited gene flow between the native marble trout and hatchery-reared strains. Future conservation and rehabilitation measures will thus have to concentrate on the identification of remnant pure marble trout individuals from such mixed populations. Handling editor: C. Trace metals in the viscera of Turbo marmoratus, a huge conical spire, in the coral reef of Ryukyu Island were analyzed. The highest amount of Zn and Fe was detectable in the midgut gland known to be polluted by saxitoxin. This intestine maintained a considerable amount of Si (higher than Ca) which fluctuated in parallel with the taurine amount. These data suggest that the viscera of the alimentary tract accumulate some metals, especially Zn and Fe.  相似文献

Being the interface of sea and land, the coast can be invaded by introduced species coming from either of these two worlds. Recent reviews of coastal invasions emphasize the human-mediated transport of non-indigenous marine plants and invertebrates, forgetting the potential role of invaders of terrestrial origin. By studying the diet of the introduced American mink (Mustela vison) on a rocky shore of southwestern Europe, we draw attention to the potential impact on intertidal communities of exotic species coming from inland. We analysed 199 mink faeces collected in August 1997 and August 1999 in Baiona, a coastal and urban area of northern Spain recently invaded by minks. The diet of the species was based almost exclusively on crabs (45.4% of individual prey) and fish (53.3%). Most crabs were marbled crabs (Pachygrapsus marmoratus) and most fish were adult blennies (Coryphoblennius galerita and Lipophrys pholis). Given its energy requirements (about 1250 kJ/day), a single mink will consume during the month of August approximately 945 blennies and 496 crabs. Although we lack accurate data on mink abundance, a cautious estimation (4 mink/km before dispersal), supported by field observations, suggests that predation in August may reach 3780 blennies and 1984 crabs per km of shoreline. This predation pressure could affect the numbers of blennies and (less probably) crabs, indirectly benefiting the populations of their prey, that is, sessile invertebrates and snails. More field research is needed, but our results suggest that an exotic non-marine top predator such as the American mink could affect intertidal communities in Eurasia.  相似文献

Summary The ultrastructure and density of chloride cells in the gill, opercular epithelium, and opercular skin of the euryhaline self-fertilizing fish Rivulus marmoratus (Cyprinodontidae) were studied with electron and fluorescence microscopy. R. marmoratus raised from birth in 1, 50, 100, and 200% seawater were compared. Chloride cells from fish raised in each of the four salinities exhibited an invaginated pit structure at the apical crypt. Multicellular complexes were present in the 1% seawater group and in those fish raised in higher salinities where elaborate interdigitations were seen between cells. Chloride cells from gills of fish raised in 200% seawater had a significantly higher percentage of their cytoplasmic volume composed of mitochondria than did those from fish raised in 1% seawater (69.9% vs 37.4%). The opercular skin and opercular epithelium had the same density of chloride cells (4.2×104-4.5×104 chloride cells/cm2), and this number did not vary significantly with increased salinity. The opercular skin thus appears far more responsive to environmental salinity than the opercular epithelium. Chloride cells from the opercular epithelium of fish raised in 200% seawater were found to be 39% larger than those from fish raised in 1% seawater, whereas the chloride cells from the opercular skin of the 200% seawater group were 107% larger than those from the 1% seawater group.  相似文献

Scirtothrips perseae Nakahara was discovered attacking avocados in California, USA, in 1996. Host plant surveys in California indicated that S. perseae has a highly restricted host range with larvae being found only on avocados, while adults were collected from 11 different plant species. As part of a management program for this pest, a “classical” biological control program was initiated and foreign exploration was conducted to delineate the home range of S. perseae, to survey for associated natural enemies and inventory other species of phytophagous thrips on avocados grown in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad, and Brazil. Foreign exploration efforts indicate that S. perseae occurs on avocados grown at high altitudes (>1500 m) from Uruapan in Mexico south to areas around Guatemala City in Guatemala. In Costa Rica, S. perseae is replaced by an undescribed congener as the dominant phytophagous thrips on avocados grown at high altitudes (>1300 m). No species of Scirtothrips were found on avocados in the Dominican Republic, Trinidad, or Brazil. In total, 2136 phytophagous thrips were collected and identified, representing over 47 identified species from at least 19 genera. The significance of these species records is discussed. Of collected material 4% were potential thrips biological control agents. Natural enemies were dominated by six genera of predatory thrips (Aeolothrips, Aleurodothrips, Franklinothrips, Leptothrips, Scolothrips, and Karnyothrips). One genus each of parasitoid (Ceranisus) and predatory mite (Balaustium) were found. Based on the results of our sampling techniques, prospects for the importation of thrips natural enemies for use in a “classical” biological control program in California against S. perseae are not promising.  相似文献

Functionally active preparations of Na+,K+-ATPase isozymes from calf brain that contain catalytic subunits of three types (1, 2, and 3) were obtained using two approaches: a selective removal of contaminating proteins by the Jorgensen method and a selective solubilization of the enzyme with subsequent reconstitution of their membrane structure by the Esmann method. The ouabain inhibition constants were determined for the isozymes. The real isozyme composition of the Na+ pump from the grey matter containing glial cells and the brain stem containing neurons was determined. The plasma membranes of glial cells were shown to contain mainly Na+,K+-ATPase of the 11 type and minor amounts of isozymes of the 22(1) and the 31(2) type. The axolemma contains 21 and 31 isozymes. A carbohydrate analysis indicated that 11 enzyme preparations from the brain grey matter substantially differ from the renal enzymes of the same composition in the glycosylation of the 1 isoform. An enhanced sensitivity of the 3 catalytic subunit of Na+,K+-ATPase from neurons to endogenous proteolysis was found. A point of specific proteolysis in the amino acid sequence PNDNR492 Y493 was localized (residue numbering is that of the human 3 subunit). This sequence corresponds to one of the regions of the greatest variability in 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-subunits, but at the same time, it is characteristic of the 3 isoforms of various species. The presence of the 3 isoform of tubulin (cytoskeletal protein) was found for the first time in the high-molecular-mass Na+,K+-ATPase 31 isozyme complex isolated from the axolemma of brain stem neurons, and its binding to the 3 catalytic subunit was shown.  相似文献

Neutral glycolipids from the brain of a patient with Fucosidosis were analyzed and two complex glycolipids containing five and eight sugars were isolated from the cortical grey matter. These two glycolipids reacted with antibodies recognizing the SSEA-1 [Lex(X)] carbohydrate determinant. SSEA-1 glycolipids are normally expressed in human embryonic brain but are found in only small amounts in postnatal human brain. The accumulation of the two SSEA-1 glycolipids in Fucosidosis brain thus represents a defect which affects the normal developmentally regulated decrease in postnatal, expression of these glycolipids, and may be a contributing factor in the abnormal brain development associated with the disease.
