随着对水生态系统结构与功能的深入研究,自由生活的异养鞭毛虫在水生态系统中的作用成为当前生态学领域的热点之一.已有的研究结果表明,异养鞭毛虫物种丰富,摄食方式多样,周转迅速,是微食物环的重要成分,在水生态系统中起着十分重要的作用.异养鞭毛虫物种多样性及生态学方面的系统研究将有助于对水生态系统结构、功能和过程深入了解.综述了异养鞭毛虫多样性、群落结构、摄食生态学以及在氮、磷循环中的作用,分析了其在生态系统中的功能.  相似文献

Succession has a strong influence on species diversity and composition of terrestrial ecosystems. Peat bogs are among them. They have a large area in Belarus compared to other Central European countries. While in several studies have analyzed the effects of succession on vegetation in peat bog ecosystems, the response of peatland insects to succession has not been investigated yet. To address this issue were sampled Auchenorrhyncha abundance and environmental parameters on the ancient and one of the largest natural peat bog along a successional gradient from the margin to the bog dome. The results provide evidence that succession of peat bogs has influence on planthoppers and leafhoppers abundance, diversity and species composition. Along the successional gradient from younger towards older successional stages an increase abundance of specialized peat bog species, chamebionts, oligophagous and monophagous was observed. On the contrary, the younger stages of natural peat bog succession offer favorable conditions to eurytopic, polyphagous and chortobiont planthoppers and leafhoppers. The highest abundance and species richness of Auchenorrhyncha were in the lagg zone followed by early stages of natural peat bog succession. The highest diversity was in the middle stages of succession. A determinant of Auchenorrhyncha diversity was the cover of ericaceous dwarf shrubs. Linear models shrub cover and number of plants species had a positive effect on planthoppers and leafhoppers diversity and a negative effect on their abundance. Amount of ericaceous dwarf shrubs within the peat bog could be as a measure of heterogeneity.  相似文献

以皆伐后长白山红松阔叶林4个不同演替阶段的林分为对象,分析其群落和优势树种的变化特征.结果表明:在长白山红松阔叶林不同演替阶段中,乔木树种的丰富度、Shannon多样性和Simpson优势度变化较小,多度和均匀度变化较大.随着演替的进程,群落的优势树种组成发生变化,种数逐渐减少,优势种的胸高断面积加和和最大重要值逐渐增加,说明不同演替阶段群落的优势种地位不断提高.长白山红松阔叶林的演替过程是白桦、山杨、黄檗、春榆等阳性或半阴性树种不断减少,而紫椴、水曲柳、红松、色木槭等阴性树种不断增加的过程.  相似文献

Annual Patterns in Bacterioplankton Community Variability in a Humic Lake   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
Bacterioplankton community composition (BCC) was monitored in a shallow humic lake in northern Wisconsin, USA, over 3 years using automated ribosomal intergenic spacer analysis (ARISA). Comparison of ARISA profiles of bacterial communities over time indicated that BCC was highly variable on a seasonal and annual scale. Nonmetric multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis indicated little similarity in BCC from year to year. Nevertheless, annual patterns in bacterioplankton community diversity were observed. Trends in bacterioplankton community diversity were correlated to annual patterns in community succession observed for phytoplankton and zooplankton populations, consistent with the notion that food web interactions affect bacterioplankton community structure in this humic lake. Bacterioplankton communities experience a dramatic drop in richness and abundance each year in early summer, concurrent with an increase in the abundance of both mixotrophic and heterotrophic flagellates. A second drop in richness, but not abundance, is observed each year in late summer, coinciding with an intense bloom of the nonphagotrophic dinoflagellate Peridinium limbatum. A relationship between bacterial community composition, size, and abundance and the population dynamics of Daphnia was also observed. The noted synchrony between these major population and species shifts suggests that linkages across trophic levels play a role in determining the annual time course of events for the microbial and metazoan components of the plankton.  相似文献

Succession has a strong influence on species diversity and composition of semi-natural open terrestrial ecosystems. While several studies examined the effects of succession on butterflies in grassland and forest ecosystems, the response of heathland butterflies to succession had not been investigated so far. To address this issue we sampled butterfly abundance and environmental parameters on the Baltic island of Hiddensee (NE Germany) along a gradient of coastal heathland succession from grey dunes to birch forest. Our results provide evidence that succession of coastal heathland has a strong influence on butterfly diversity, abundance, and species composition. Thereby grass and tree encroachment present the main threats for heathland butterflies. Diversity and abundance of butterflies were highest in shrub-encroached heath directly followed by early stages of coastal heathland succession (dwarf-shrub heath, grey dune). Both observed threatened species (Hipparchia semele, Plebeius argus) were negatively affected by succession: abundance decreased with increasing vegetation density (both species) and grass cover (P. argus); consequently, the two later successional stages (shrub, birch forest) were not occupied. Our findings highlight the importance of the preservation of early stages of coastal heathland succession for endangered butterfly species. For coastal heathland management we therefore suggest to maintain early successional stages by sheep grazing, mowing or, in case of high nutrient contents, intensive techniques such as sod-cutting or choppering. To a lower extend shrub-encroached sites should also be present, which might be beneficial for overall species richness.  相似文献

森林演替会通过改变植物群落组成和土壤环境影响土壤生物群落, 反过来, 土壤生物群落的变化也会对生态系统的演替产生反馈作用, 但迄今南亚热带森林演替过程中土壤生物群落的变化特征尚不清晰。本研究以广东省鼎湖山的南亚热带森林演替序列(马尾松(Pinus massoniana)林-针阔叶混交林-季风常绿阔叶林)为对象, 研究了森林演替过程中土壤线虫多样性和群落结构的动态变化及其影响因素。通过采集不同演替阶段的土壤样品, 分析和比对了不同演替阶段土壤线虫的多度、多样性、群落组成、土壤线虫生态指数以及土壤理化性质的差异。结果表明: (1)在南亚热带森林演替过程中, 针阔叶混交林和季风常绿阔叶林土壤线虫的α多样性显著高于马尾松林, 但土壤线虫总数和各营养类群多度及其相对丰度并无显著变化; (2)针阔叶混交林中土壤线虫富集指数显著高于马尾松林, 表明其土壤养分状况要好于马尾松林, 而季风常绿阔叶林土壤线虫结构指数较高, 表明其受干扰程度较低; (3)针阔叶混交林的土壤含水量和土壤理化性质(除土壤总磷含量)已达到季风常绿阔叶林的水平, 但两者的土壤pH值均显著低于马尾松林, 而土壤pH值和土壤含水量是影响土壤线虫群落动态变化的主要因素。综上所述, 南亚热带森林中土壤线虫多度、多样性和群落结构对森林演替的响应略有不同, 演替过程中土壤环境因素的趋同是导致针阔叶混交林和季风常绿阔叶林中土壤线虫多样性和群落特征相似的主要原因。  相似文献

The bacterial population of brown coal colliery spoil (Sokolov coal mining district, Czechia) was characterized by measuring viable bacterial biomass, the culturable to total cell ratio (C:T), colony-forming curve (CFC) analysis and species and/or biotype diversity. Bacterial representatives that differed in colony-forming growth (fast and/or slow growers) were used for growth-strategy investigation of heterotrophic bacteria. Spoil substrates from the surface (0–50 mm) and the mineral (100–150 mm) layers were sampled on 4 sites undergoing spontaneous succession corresponding to 1, 11, 21 and 43 years after deposition (initial, early, mid and late stages). The bacterial biomass of the surface layer increased during the initial and early stages with a maximum at mid stage and stabilized in the late stage while mineral layer biomass increased throughout the succession. The maxima of C:T ratios were at the early stage, minima at the late stage. Depending on the succession stage the C:T ratio was 1.5–2 times higher in the mineral than the surface layer of soil. An increase in the fraction of nonculturable bacteria was associated with the late succession stage. CFC analysis of the surface layer during a 3-d incubation revealed that the early-succession substrate contained more (75 %) rapidly colonizing bacteria (opportunists, r-strategists) than successively older substrates. The culturable bacterial community of the mineral layer maintained a high genera and species richness of fast growers along the succession line in contrast to the surface layer community, where there was a maximum in the abundance of fast growers in the early stage. There was a balanced distribution of Grampositive and Gram-negative representatives of fast growers in both layers. A markedly lower abundance of slow growers was observed in the mineral in contrast to the surface layer. Gram-positive species dominated the slow growers at the surface as well as in the mineral layers. The growth strategy of the heterotrophic bacterial population along four successional stages on spoil of brown coal colliery substrate in the surface layer displayed a trend indicative of a r-K continuum in contrast to the mineral layer, where an r-strategy persisted. Forest succession can influence herbivore communities through changes in host availability, plant quality, microclimate, canopy structure complexity and predator abundance. It is not well known, however, if such influence is constant across years. Caterpillars have been reported to be particularly susceptible to changes in plant community composition across forest succession, as most species are specialists and rely on the presence of their hosts. Nevertheless, in the case of tropical dry forests, plant species have less defined successional boundaries than tropical wet forests, and hence herbivore communities should be able to persist across different successional stages. To test this prediction, caterpillar communities were surveyed during eight consecutive years in a tropical dry forest in four replicated successional stages in Chamela, Jalisco and Mexico. Lepidopteran species richness and diversity were equivalent in mature forests and early successional stages, but a distinctive caterpillar community was found for the recently abandoned pastures. Species composition tended to converge among all four successional stages during the span of eight years. Overall, our results highlight the importance of both primary and secondary forest for the conservation of caterpillar biodiversity at a landscape level. We also highlight the relevance of long‐term studies when assessing the influence of forest succession to account for across year variation in species interactions and climatic factors. Ecosystem restoration provides unique opportunities to study community dynamics under succession and can reveal how consumer communities re-assemble and respond to successional changes. Studying community dynamics from both taxonomic and functional trait perspectives also may provide more robust assessments of restoration progress or success and allow cross-system comparisons. We studied ground beetle (Coleoptera: Carabidae) communities for three years in a restored grassland chronosequence with sites from 0 to 28 years old. We measured traditional community metrics (abundance, richness, Shannon diversity) and functional trait metrics based on species’ body length, wing morphology, activity time, phenology, and diet. Communities had high species richness and abundance in early successional stages, but these declined in later stages to low levels comparable to an adjacent grassland remnant. Species composition also shifted with time, converging with the remnant. Although functional richness, like species richness, declined as succession progressed, functional divergence quickly increased and was maintained over time, suggesting niche differentiation in established communities. Young sites were typified by small, macropterous, phytophagous species, while older sites contained larger species more likely to be flightless and carnivorous. Prescribed burns also affected traits, decreasing prevalence of larger species. This study demonstrates that functionally diverse consumer communities can self-assemble under restoration practices. In a relatively short amount of time both morphological and trophic level diversity are established. However, prescribed fire intended to control non-desirable plants may also shape beetle community functional composition, and restoration managers should consider if plant community benefits of fire outweigh potential declines in consumer function.  相似文献

土壤细菌多样性是维持森林生态系统功能的关键因子,森林演替是影响其动态变化的重要因素。研究云南松林不同演替阶段土壤细菌群落结构及其多样性的变化规律,有助于深入理解森林生态系统恢复过程的驱动机制。本研究以云南省永仁县皆伐后形成的针叶林、针阔混交林和常绿阔叶林为对象,基于Illumina Hiseq高通量测序技术,分析森林演替过程中土壤细菌群落组成、结构、多样性及其影响因子的变化。结果表明: 土壤细菌的种群分类单元、Ace指数、Chao1指数和Shannon指数均随着演替进行呈减少趋势,演替早期阶段土壤的细菌总数、菌群丰富度及复杂程度最高。不同演替阶段细菌群落结构存在显著差异,其中,针阔混交林的差异最大,变形菌门和酸杆菌门为各演替序列共有的优势类群,放线菌门、绿弯菌门和Patescibacteria是演替早期的优势类群,且随着演替进行呈现减少趋势;变形菌门和WPS-2相对多度随演替进行呈增加趋势。土壤pH和乔木层物种丰富度是驱动次生演替过程中土壤细菌群落组成变化的关键因子。随着演替的进行,土壤细菌多样性减少,群落组成差异加大。  相似文献

森林群落物种多样性格局和动态一直是生态学的研究热点,人工林弃管后演替进程中物种多样性变化也很值得研究。杉木(Cunninghamia lanceolata)作为我国南方林区人工栽培最广、经济价值最高的用材树种之一,其人工林分布面积很大,通常群落结构简单、物种多样性低,然而群落中杉木数量如何影响植物物种多样性,迄今缺乏研究。在浙江省自然保护区内,选择不同疏伐强度和弃管时间的杉木人工林,建立了6个1 hm~2长期动态监测样地,在10 m×10 m、20 m×20 m、50 m×50 m和100 m×100 m尺度下,探究群落物种多样性(物种丰富度、Simpson指数、Shannon-Wiener指数和Pielou均匀度指数)的变化规律,分析杉木数量(多度和相对多度)对物种多样性的影响。结果显示:弃管前对杉木林的疏伐强度越高,演替恢复后的群落物种多样性越高。相同疏伐程度下,物种多样性随演替时间的延长有先升高后降低的趋势。取样尺度小于100 m×100 m时,杉木数量与物种多样性呈极显著负相关;100 m×100 m尺度下仅杉木相对多度与3种多样性指数呈显著负相关,杉木多度与各物种多样性均无显...  相似文献

Species composition, distribution, and the character of structural changes in the heterotrophic flagellate community were studied along environmental gradients in the Chernaya River estuary. There were 99 species and forms of heterotrophic flagellates, subdivided into three groups: prevalently marine species and euryhaline species preferring biotopes either of higher or decreased salinity. The heterotrophic flagellate community of the estuary was continuously divided into two distinct variants: (1) cenosis of halophilic species, prevalently of sea forms and euryhaline species preferring biotopes of increased salinity; (2) cenosis of halophobic species with prevalence of euryhaline forms gravitating to fresh biotopes. The arbitrary and indistinct boundary between the variants of the community ran at a salinity of 9–10‰. The response of estuarine communities of heterotrophic flagellates and infusorians to variation of abiotic factors was similar and differed from response of communities of microphyto-, meiozoo-and macrozoobenthos; this implied similarity of the response mechanism to environmental factors in organisms of one level of organization.  相似文献

In Discovery Bay, Jamaica W.I., densities of Diadema antillarum Philippi were experimentally manipulated over a range of 0–64 individuals · m?2 with the aid of enclosures in shallow water. The effects of grazing by this echinoid on the algal community structure of a coral reef were compared under conditions of primary and post-primary succession.Algal biomass decreased as Diadema density was increased, particularly under primary succession conditions. A similar response was noted under post-primary conditions, but here biomass was also dependent on species composition and abundance of algae prior to experimental alterations of Diadema density. Peyssonnelia sp. was found to be particularly resistant to echinoid grazing, surviving even the most intense grazing. Within 11 months, algal diversity decreased significantly in an exponential fashion as Diadema density increased. This occurred under conditions of both primary and post-primary succession. Diversity, irrespective of index, was not maximized at intermediate grazing pressures. No single species of alga dominated the benthic community at even the lowest Diadema densities.Species composition of algae in the benthic community prior to changes in grazing pressure and lack of successful recruitment of a potential dominant were found to have a major influence on the response of the algal community to the treatments. Each of these factors can influence both the relationship between algal diversity and grazing pressure and the rate at which the community approaches an initial plateau of diversity in its earliest stages of succession.  相似文献

Phage predation constitutes a major mortality factor for bacteria in aquatic ecosystems, and thus, directly impacts nutrient cycling and microbial community dynamics. Yet, the population dynamics of specific phages across time scales from days to months remain largely unexplored, which limits our understanding of their influence on microbial succession. To investigate temporal changes in diversity and abundance of phages infecting particular host strains, we isolated 121 phage strains that infected three bacterial hosts during a Baltic Sea mesocosm experiment. Genome analysis revealed a novel Flavobacterium phage genus harboring gene sets putatively coding for synthesis of modified nucleotides and glycosylation of bacterial cell surface components. Another novel phage genus revealed a microdiversity of phage species that was largely maintained during the experiment and across mesocosms amended with different nutrients. In contrast to the newly described Flavobacterium phages, phages isolated from a Rheinheimera strain were highly similar to previously isolated genotypes, pointing to genomic consistency in this population. In the mesocosm experiment, the investigated phages were mainly detected after a phytoplankton bloom peak. This concurred with recurrent detection of the phages in the Baltic Proper during summer months, suggesting an influence on the succession of heterotrophic bacteria associated with phytoplankton blooms.  相似文献

采用空间序列替代时间序列的方法,对科尔沁沙地不同演替阶段3个冷蒿群落的物种组成和物种多样性进行研究.结果表明:处于3个演替阶段的冷蒿群落为杠柳-冷蒿群落、杠柳-冷蒿+差巴嘎蒿群落及冷蒿-糙隐子草群落.3个冷蒿群落均以菊科、禾本科和藜科植物占优势.随着群落的演替,群落植物种数和科数逐渐减小,禾本科植物的种数逐渐减小,但菊科和禾本科植物种数所占比例逐渐增大.3个冷蒿群落中物种多样性顺序为:杠柳-冷蒿+差巴嘎蒿群落>杠柳-冷蒿群落>冷蒿-糙隐子草群落.3个冷蒿群落间的物种组成差异不大,群落间物种相似度较高.3个群落中冷蒿的盖度最大,其盖度随着群落的演替逐渐增大.  相似文献

喀斯特是我国南方广泛分布的地貌类型,土壤真菌对喀斯特植被演替恢复具有重要调节功能,不同石漠化程度的喀斯特区植被演替受到土壤微生物影响,因此研究不同石漠化区域植被演替阶段的土壤真菌组成及多样性,探索土壤真菌在喀斯特植被演替过程中的作用机制具有重要意义。本文采用时空替代法采集了不同石漠化程度(潜在、中度和强度)的喀斯特区植被演替乔木、灌木和草本演替阶段土壤样品,通过Illumina HiSeq第二代高通量测序分析了土壤真菌组成及多样性。结果表明,试验共获得3 871个OTUs,分属4门17纲116科174属;潜在和中度石漠化区各演替阶段土壤真菌优势门均为担子菌门,强度石漠化区各演替阶段土壤真菌无相同优势门;土壤真菌组成及多样性在潜在石漠化区表现为乔木>草本>灌木,中度石漠化区为灌木>乔木>草本,强度石漠化区为灌木>草本>乔木,且石漠化程度对真菌组成及多样性的影响大于植被演替的影响;土壤理化性质随石漠化程度及演替阶段发生变化,且显著影响真菌多样性指数,以碱解氮为主导因子显著影响土壤真菌群落。  相似文献

【目的】研究我国最大的林区之一——大兴安岭森林火烧后不同演替阶段土壤细菌多样性动态,为天然林保护工程对于生物多样性的影响增添新的认识。【方法】以空间替代时间的方法分析大兴安岭森林演替对于土壤细菌多样性动态的影响。大兴安岭森林火烧后典型的自然演替序列为火烧迹地(LG-BA)、灌丛(SHR)、白桦林(BP)、白桦落叶松混交林(BP-LG)、落叶松林(LG-OM)。在演替序列的每个典型样地上采集0-10 cm土样,采用Illumina Mi Seq高通量测序技术测定土壤细菌群落组成及其多样性。【结果】细菌操作分类单位(OTU)数量从少到多的顺序为火烧迹地落叶松白桦混交林灌丛落叶松林白桦林。随着森林演替,多样性指数Simpson先增高后降低;Shannon指数先增加后减少再增加;OTU的丰度变化比较平缓,表明物种变化较小。在各演替阶段中,土壤细菌种类主要有变形菌门(Proteobacteria)、酸杆菌门(Acidobacteria)、放线菌门(Actinobacteria)和浮霉菌门(Planctomycetes),4个门的种类含量随演替顺序都呈现先增加后减少的趋势。主成分分析表明不同演替阶段土壤细菌群落存在一定的差异性。冗余分析表明有机质(SOM)、全氮(TN)、全磷(TP)和p H对于土壤细菌群落变化有影响。【结论】随着森林演替,大兴安岭地区土壤细菌种类和生物多样性会发生变化,其变化与土壤化学成分和p H有关。  相似文献

The invertebrate community living in algal mats on intertidal boulders was studied for 2 yr. The diversity and abundance of the animals increased between the early and middle stages of algal succession, then remained similar into the later stage. Three possible mechanisms producing this pattern were investigated experimentally by manipulating natural algal mats and plastic algal mimics in the field and laboratory and evaluating the community of colonizing invertebrates. The first, the “ecological time” hypothesis, suggests that there are more species and individuals in later stages because they accumulate slowly with time; this hypothesis was tested experimentally and rejected. A second, “algal toxicity” hypothesis suggests that species richness and abundance are lower in earlier successional stages because the early colonizing green algae are more toxic to animals than are the later red algae. This hypothesis was also tested experimentally and rejected. The third, “habitat complexity” hypothesis suggests that increases in complexity of physical aspects of algal structure (biomass, surface area) cause increases in invertebrate richness and abundance. The fact that this result was found in both living algae and plastic mimics indicates that biological aspects of algal structure apparently have only minor importance. Algal biomass and surface area increase from early to middle successional stages; middle and late successional stages are similar. In general, increases in these physical aspects of algal structure produce concomitant increases in the abundance and diversity of the associated animal community. With higher biomass and surface area, increased numbers of individuals accumulate in algal mats. Because a larger sample of the available pool of individuals is therefore collected, more species are found in a given area of algal mat when the structure is more complex. The successional patterns of increase in species richness of this invertebrate community seem to result from this sampling phenomenon, rather than from increases in numbers of resources (i.e., “niches”).  相似文献

Freshwater algal community dynamics of four small model lakes was studied at the Central Chernozem Nature Reserve (Kursk region, Russia). Fluctuation of species abundance and succession of main algal communities during the ice-free season were observed. Species diversity dynamics was correlated with dominant species abundance and unique species quantity. Diatoms were the basis of the dominant algal community. Species diversity of diatoms was the highest: it reached up to 90% of total species abundance in samples during the season.  相似文献
