关中地区小麦/玉米轮作农田硝态氮淋溶特点   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
通过田间原位淋溶装置研究了不同施氮量和秸秆覆盖对关中地区小麦/玉米轮作农田90cm深处硝态氮(NO3--N)淋溶量、0~1m土层硝态氮累积及作物产量和氮平衡的影响.试验设不施氮(N1,0kg·hm-2·a-1)、常规施氮(N2,471kg·hm-2·a-1)、推荐施氮(N3,330kg·hm-2·a-1)、减量施氮(N4,165kg·hm-2·a-1)、增量施氮(N5,495kg·hm-2·a-1)和推荐施氮+秸秆覆盖(N3+S)6个不同施肥处理.结果表明:NO3--N淋溶量随施氮量的增加而增大,氮肥的过量施用及秸秆覆盖易造成NO3--N淋溶.N3+S处理90cm处年NO3--N流失量最大,为22.32kg·hm-2,施肥造成的氮流失量为16.44kg·hm-2,比相同施氮量不覆盖处理(N3)高158.9%.NO3--N主要累积在20~60cm土层,年施氮量330kg·hm-2(N3)时,秸秆覆盖与否不影响NO3--N的剖面分布.各施肥处理对作物产量没有显著影响,但减量施氮处理(N4)有减少作物产量的趋势.在本试验条件下,推荐施肥量(小麦施氮150kg·hm-2,玉米施氮180kg·hm-2)在保证作物产量的同时,可减少土壤NO3--N的淋溶和累积.  相似文献

Adenosine plays a role in physiological and pathological conditions, and A(2) adenosine receptor (AR) expression is modified in many cardiovascular disorders. In this study, we elucidated the role of the A(2B)AR and its relationship to the A(2A)AR in coronary flow (CF) changes using A(2B) single-knockout (KO) and A(2A/2B) double-KO (DKO) mice in a Langendorff setup. We used two approaches: 1) selective and nonselective AR agonists and antagonists and 2) A(2A)KO and A(2B)KO and A(2A/2B)DKO mice. BAY 60-6583 (a selective A(2B) agonist) had no effect on CF in A(2B)KO mice, whereas it significantly increased CF in wild-type (WT) mice (maximum of 23.3 ± 9 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)). 5'-N-ethylcarboxamido adenosine (NECA; a nonselective AR agonist) increased CF in A(2B)KO mice (maximum of 34.6 ± 4.7 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)) to a significantly higher degree compared with WT mice (maximum of 23.1 ± 2.1 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)). Also, CGS-21680 (a selective A(2A) agonist) increased CF in A(2B)KO mice (maximum of 29 ± 1.9 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)) to a significantly higher degree compared with WT mice (maximum of 25.1 ± 2.3 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)). SCH-58261 (an A(2A)-selective antagonist) inhibited the NECA-induced increase in CF to a significantly higher degree in A(2B)KO mice (19.3 ± 1.6 vs. 0.5 ± 0.4 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)) compared with WT mice (19 ± 3.5 vs. 3.6 ± 0.5 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)). NECA did not induce any increase in CF in A(2A/2B)DKO mice, whereas a significant increase was observed in WT mice (maximum of 23.1 ± 2.1 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)). Furthermore, the mitochondrial ATP-sensitive K(+) (K(ATP)) channel blocker 5-hydroxydecanoate had no effect on the NECA-induced increase in CF in WT mice, whereas the NECA-induced increase in CF in WT (17.6 ± 2 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)), A(2A)KO (12.5 ± 2.3 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)), and A(2B)KO (16.2 ± 0.8 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)) mice was significantly blunted by the K(ATP) channel blocker glibenclamide (to 0.7 ± 0.7, 2.3 ± 1.1, and 0.9 ± 0.4 ml·min(-1)·g(-1), respectively). Also, the CGS-21680-induced (22 ± 2.3 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)) and BAY 60-6583-induced (16.4 ± 1.60 ml·min(-1)·g(-1)) increase in CF in WT mice was significantly blunted by glibenclamide (to 1.2 ± 0.4 and 1.8 ± 1.2 ml·min(-1)·g(-1), respectively). In conclusion, this is the first evidence supporting the compensatory upregulation of A(2A)ARs in A(2B)KO mice and demonstrates that both A(2A)ARs and A(2B)ARs induce CF changes through K(ATP) channels. These results identify AR-mediated CF responses that may lead to better therapeutic approaches for the treatment of cardiovascular disorders.  相似文献

In this paper, the preparation of new supported ionic liquids (SILs) composed of the N-methylimidazolium cation and the quinoline cation is described. They have been confirmed and evaluated by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis. Six kinds of different SILs included SiO(2)·Im(+)·Cl(-), SiO(2)·Im(+)·BF(4)(-), SiO(2)·Im(+)·PF(6)(-), SiO(2)·Qu(+)·Cl(-), SiO(2)·Qu(+)·BF(4)(-) and SiO(2)·Qu(+)·PF(6)(-). The adsorption characteristics of ferulic acid (FA), caffeic acid (CA) and salicylic acid (SA) on SILs were investigated by static adsorption experiments. It was found that SiO(2)·Qu(+)·Cl(-) had excellent adsorption and desorption capacity to three tested phenolic compounds. The dynamic adsorption characteristics of FA, CA and SA on SiO(2)·Qu(+)·Cl(-) were also studied. The saturated adsorption capacity of FA, CA and SA using SiO(2)·Qu(+)·Cl(-) as adsorbent was 64.6 mg/g, 53.2 mg/g and 72.2 mg/g respectively. Using 70% ethanol as eluent, the saturated desorption efficiencies of FA, CA and SA were 97.2%, 90.3% and 96.5% respectively. Thus, SiO(2)·Qu(+)·Cl(-) had strong adsorption and separation capacity for FA, CA and SA.  相似文献

In this study, we hypothesized that athletes involved in 5-6 months of sprint-type training would display higher levels of proteins and processes involved in muscle energy supply and utilization. Tissue was sampled from the vastus lateralis of 13 elite ice hockey players (peak oxygen consumption = 51.8 ± 1.3 mL·kg(-1)·min(-1); mean ± standard error) at the end of a season (POST) and compared with samples from 8 controls (peak oxygen consumption = 45.5 ± 1.4 mL·kg(-1)·min(-1)) (CON). Compared with CON, higher activities were observed in POST (p < 0.05) only for succinic dehydrogenase (3.32 ± 0.16 mol·(mg protein)(-1)·min(-1) vs. 4.10 ± 0.11 mol·(mg protein)(-1)·min(-1)) and hexokinase (0.73 ± 0.05 mol·(mg protein)(-1)·min(-1) vs. 0.90 ± 0.05mol·(mg protein)(-1)·min(-1)) but not for phosphorylase, phosphofructokinase, and creatine phosphokinase. No differences were found in Na(+),K(+)-ATPase concentration (β(max): 262 ± 36 pmol·(g wet weight)(-1) vs. 275 ± 27 pmol·(g wet weight)(-1)) and the maximal activity of the sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca(2+)-ATPase (98.1 ± 6.1 μmol·(g protein)(-1)·min(-1) vs. 102 ± 3.3 μmol·(g protein)(-1)·min(-1)). Cross-sectional area was lower (p < 0.05) in POST but only for the type IIA fibres (6312 ± 684 μm(2) vs. 5512 ± 335 μm(2)), while the number of capillary counts per fibre and the capillary to fibre area ratio were generally higher (p < 0.05). These findings suggest that elite trained ice hockey players display elevations only in support of glucose-based aerobic metabolism that occur in the absence of alterations in excitation-contraction processes.  相似文献

利用LI-8100土壤呼吸测定系统, 在室内控制温度条件下测定了长白山高山苔原季节性雪斑大白花地榆(Sanguisorba sitchensis (=S. stipulata))群落土壤呼吸对温度的响应过程, 并根据野外连续测定的全年温度, 估算了雪斑群落土壤呼吸的季节变化, 同时模拟气温升高对土壤呼吸的影响。雪斑土壤温度全年大部分时间维持在0 ℃以上, 极端温度变动幅度不超过20 ℃。模拟计算了10 cm深土壤的呼吸强度, 海拔2 036 m处为307.1 g C·m-2·a-1, 海拔2 260 m处的呼吸量为270.9 g C·m-2·a-1。由于积雪时间长, 冬季呼吸占很大比例, 而且随着海拔的升高比例加大。从海拔2 036 m到2 260 m, 积雪期土壤呼吸分别占全年的42.5% (125.4 g C·m-2·a-1)和49.7% (128.7 g C·m-2·a-1)。模拟气温升高1 ℃并假设积雪时间减少20天, 冬天的呼吸量减少8%左右, 但全年总呼吸量增加8%左右。升温后, 平均增加的呼吸量为0.25 g C·kg-1·a-1 (或22.65 g C·m-2·a-1), 冬季呼吸量减少0.118 g C·kg-1·season-1 (或10.81 g C·m-2·season-1)。  相似文献

We investigated the validity of employing a fuzzy piecewise prediction equation (PW) [Gonzalez et al. J Appl Physiol 107: 379-388, 2009] defined by sweat rate (m(sw), g·m(-2)·h(-1)) = 147 + 1.527·(E(req)) - 0.87·(E(max)), which integrates evaporation required (E(req)) and the maximum evaporative capacity of the environment (E(max)). Heat exchange and physiological responses were determined throughout the trials. Environmental conditions were ambient temperature (T(a)) = 16-26°C, relative humidity (RH) = 51-55%, and wind speed (V) = 0.5-1.5 m/s. Volunteers wore military fatigues [clothing evaporative potential (i(m)/clo) = 0.33] and carried loads (15-31 kg) while marching 14-37 km over variable terrains either at night (N = 77, trials 1-5) or night with increasing daylight (N = 33, trials 6 and 7). PW was modified (Pw,sol) for transient solar radiation (R(sol), W) determined from measured solar loads and verified in trials 6 and 7. PW provided a valid m(sw) prediction during night trials (1-5) matching previous laboratory values and verified by bootstrap correlation (r(bs) of 0.81, SE ± 0.014, SEE = ± 69.2 g·m(-2)·h(-1)). For trials 6 and 7, E(req) and E(max) components included R(sol) applying a modified equation Pw,sol, in which m(sw) = 147 + 1.527·(E(req,sol)) - 0.87·(E(max)). Linear prediction of m(sw) = 0.72·Pw,sol + 135 (N = 33) was validated (R(2) = 0.92; SEE = ±33.8 g·m(-2)·h(-1)) with PW β-coefficients unaltered during field marches between 16°C and 26°C T(a) for m(sw) ≤ 700 g·m(-2)·h(-1). PW was additionally derived for cool laboratory/night conditions (T(a) < 20°C) in which E(req) is low but E(max) is high, as: PW,cool (g·m(-2)·h(-1)) = 350 + 1.527·E(req) - 0.87·E(max). These sweat prediction equations allow valid tools for civilian, sports, and military medicine communities to predict water needs during a variety of heat stress/exercise conditions.  相似文献

以矮丛蓝莓'Blomidon'品种的试管苗叶片为外植体,研究不同培养基、激素、转接时间以及转接方式对愈伤组织诱导及植株再生的影响.结果表明:WPM1/2为适宜的培养基;添加0.5 mg·L~(-1) CPPU+1.0 mg·L~(-1) ZT+0.5 mg·L~(-1) TDZ和0.5 mg·L~(-1) CPPU+0.5 mg·L~(-1) ZT+1.0 mg·L~(-1) TDZ诱导愈伤率较高达100%;ZT、CPPU与生长素IAA、IBA的配比诱导愈伤率效果不佳;添加ZT诱导的愈伤组织适合20 d后转接,CPPU诱导的愈伤组织适合50 d后转接;转接方式均以固体培养为宜.矮丛蓝莓'Blomidon'最适宜培养基为WPM1/2+0.5 mg·L~(-1) CPPU+1.0 mg·L~(-1) ZT+0.5 mg·L~(-1) TDZ,其诱导愈伤组织50 d后转接平均分化芽数最多达10.26个.  相似文献

为了探讨南亚热带森林生态系统碳循环的规律,在广泛收集资料和试验数据的基础上,对广州10种森林生态系统的碳循环进行研究.结果表明:10种森林生态系统的碳密度在108.35~151.85 t C·hm-2,其中乔木层碳密度在10.85~48.86 t C·hm-2,0~60 cm土壤层在87.74~99.01 t C·hm-2,均低于全国平均水平;从大气流向植被层的碳流量为4.41~9.15 t C·hm-2·a-1,植被层流向土壤层的碳流量为0.74~2.06 t C·hm-2·a-1,土壤层流向大气层的碳流量为3.94~5.42 t C·hm-2·a-1,即系统从大气净吸收碳在0.47~4.97 t C·hm-2·a-1之间.各种林分的净系统生产力不同,阔叶林大于针叶林,混交林大于纯林,天然次生林大于人工林.  相似文献

Glutathione (GSH) is an intracellular antioxidant synthesized from glutamate, cysteine and glycine. The human erythrocyte (red blood cell, RBC) requires a continuous supply of glutamate to prevent the limitation of GSH synthesis in the presence of sufficient cysteine, but the RBC membrane is almost impermeable to glutamate. As optimal GSH synthesis is important in diseases associated with oxidative stress, we compared the rate of synthesis using two potential glutamate substrates, α-ketoglutarate and glutamine. Both substrates traverse the RBC membrane rapidly relative to many other metabolites. In whole RBCs partially depleted of intracellular GSH and glutamate, 10 mm extracellular α-ketoglutarate, but not 10 mm glutamine, significantly increased the rate of GSH synthesis (0.85 ± 0.09 and 0.61 ± 0.18 μmol·(L RBC)(-1) ·min(-1), respectively) compared with 0.52 ± 0.09 μmol·(L RBC)(-1) ·min(-1) for RBCs without an external glutamate source. Mathematical modelling of the situation with 0.8 mm extracellular glutamine returned a rate of glutamate production of 0.36 μmol·(L RBC)(-1) ·min(-1), while the initial rate for 0.8 mM α-ketoglutarate was 0.97 μmol·(L RBC)(-1) ·min(-1). However, with normal plasma concentrations, the calculated rate of GSH synthesis was higher with glutamine than with α-ketoglutarate (0.31 and 0.25?μmol·(L RBC)(-1) ·min(-1), respectively), due to the substantially higher plasma concentration of glutamine. Thus, a potential protocol to maximize the rate of GSH synthesis would be to administer a cysteine precursor plus a source of α-ketoglutarate and/or glutamine.  相似文献

Antisense strategies that target DNA·RNA hybrid structures offer potential for the development of new therapeutic drugs. The α-sarcin loop region of the 16S rRNA domain has been shown to be a high value target for such strategies. Herein, aminoglycoside interaction with three RNA·DNA α-sarcin targeted duplexes (rR·dY, rR·S-dY, and rR·2'OMe-rY) have been investigated to determine the overall effect of aminoglycoside interaction on the stability, affinity, and conformation of these hybrid duplexes. To this end, UV thermal denaturation, circular dichroism spectroscopy, fluorescence intercalator displacement, and ITC as well as DSC calorimetry experiments were carried out. The results suggest the following. (1) Of all the aminoglycosides studied, neomycin confers the highest thermal stability on all three hybrid duplexes studied. (2) There is no appreciable difference in aminoglycoside-induced thermal stability between the unmodified rR·dY and phophorothioate modified rR·S-dY duplexes. (3) The rR·2'OMe-rY duplexes thermal stability is slightly less than the other two hybrids. (4) In all three duplexes, aminoglycoside-induced thermal stability decreased as the number of amino groups decreased. (5) CD scans revealed similar spectra for the rR·dY and rR·S-dY duplexes as well as a more pronounced A-form signal for the rR·2'OMe-rY duplex. (6) FID assays paralleled the CD results, yielding similar affinity values between the rR·dY and rR·S-dY duplexes and higher affinities with the rR·2'OMe-rY duplex. (7) The overall affinity trend between aminoglycosides and the three duplexes was determined to be neomycin > paromomycin > neamine > ribostamycin. (8) ITC K(a) values revealed similar binding constants for the rR·dY and rR·S-dY duplexes with rR·dY having a K(1) of (1.03 ± 0.58) × 10(7) M(-1) and K(2) of (1.13 ± 0.07) × 10(5) M(-1) while rR·S-dY produced a K(1) of (1.17 ± 0.54) × 10(7) M(-1) and K(2) of (1.27 ± 0.69) × 10(5) M(-1). (8) The rR·2'OMe-rY produced a slightly higher binding constant values with a K(1) of (1.25 ± 0.24) × 10(7) M(-1) and K(2) of (3.62 ± 0.18) × 10(5) M(-1). (9) The ΔT(m)-derived K(Tm) of 3.81 × 10(7) M(-1) for rR·S-dY was in relative agreement with the corresponding K(1) of 1.17 × 10(7) M(-1) derived constant from the fitted ITC. These results illustrate that the increased DNA·RNA hybrid duplex stability in the presence of aminoglycosides can help extend the roles of aminoglycosides in designing modified ODNs for targeting RNA.  相似文献

Comparison of mechanical properties of four large, wave-exposed seaweeds   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Seaweeds have a simple structural design compared to most terrestrial plants. Nonetheless, some species have adapted to the severe mechanical conditions of the surf zone. The material properties of either tissue sections or the whole stipe of four wave-exposed seaweeds, Durvillaea antarctica, D. willana, Laminaria digitata, and L. hyperborea, were tested in tension, bending, and torsion. Durvillaea has a very low modulus of elasticity in tension (E(tension) = 3-7 MN·m(-2)) and in bending (E(bending) = 9-12 MN · m(-2)), torsion modulus (G = 0.3 MN · m(-2)) and strength (σ(b)rk = 1-2 MN · m(-2)), combining a compliable and twistable stipe "material" with a comparatively high breaking strain (ε(brk) = 0.4-0.6). In comparison, the smaller stipes of Laminaria have a higher modulus of elasticity in tension (E(tension) = 6-28 MN·m(-2)) and in bending (E(bending) = 84-109 MN·m(-2)), similar strength (σ(brk) = 1-3 MN·m(-2)), and a higher torsion modulus (G = 0.7-10 MN·m(-2)), combined with a lower breaking strain (ε(brk) = 0.2-0.3) than Durvillaea. Time-dependent, viscoelastic reactions were investigated with cycling tests. The tested species dissipated 42-52% of the loading energy in tension through plastic-viscoelastic processes, a finding that bears important ecological implications. Overall, there seems to be no correlation between single material properties and the size or habitat position of the tested seaweed species.  相似文献

The synthesis of citrulline from arginine in the small intestine depends on the provision of ornithine. To test the hypothesis that arginase II plays a central role in the supply of ornithine for citrulline synthesis, the contribution of dietary arginine, glutamine, and proline was determined by utilizing multitracer stable isotope protocols in arginase II knockout (AII(-/-)) and wild-type (WT) mice. The lack of arginase II resulted in a lower citrulline rate of appearance (121 vs. 137 μmol·kg(-1)·h(-1)) due to a reduced availability of ornithine; ornithine supplementation was able to restore the rate of citrulline production in AII(-/-) to levels comparable with WT mice. There were significant differences in the utilization of dietary citrulline precursors. The contribution of dietary arginine to the synthesis of citrulline was reduced from 45 to 10 μmol·kg(-1)·h(-1) due to the lack of arginase II. No enteral utilization of arginine was observed in AII(-/-) mice (WT = 25 μmol·kg(-1)·h(-1)), and the contribution of dietary arginine through plasma ornithine was reduced in the transgenic mice (20 vs. 13 μmol·kg(-1)·h(-1)). Dietary glutamine and proline utilization were greater in AII(-/-) than in WT mice (20 vs. 13 and 1.4 vs. 3.7 μmol·kg(-1)·h(-1), respectively). Most of the contribution of glutamine and proline was enteral rather than through plasma ornithine. The arginase isoform present in the small intestinal mucosa has the role of providing ornithine for citrulline synthesis. The lack of arginase II results in a greater contribution of plasma ornithine and dietary glutamine and proline to the synthesis of citrulline.  相似文献

华西雨屏区苦竹林土壤酶活性对模拟氮沉降的响应   总被引:5,自引:2,他引:5  
2007年11月-2009年5月,对华西雨屏区苦竹人工林进行了模拟氮沉降试验,氮沉降水平分别为:对照(0 g N·m-2·a-1)、低氮(5 g N·m-2·a-1)、中氮(15 g N·m-2·a-1)和高氮(30 g N·m-2·a-1).在氮沉降进行半年后,每月采集各样方0~20 cm土壤样品,测定其土壤酶活性,连续测定1年.结果表明:苦竹人工林样地中6种土壤酶活性的季节变化较明显,蔗糖酶、纤维素酶和酸性磷酸酶活性的高峰期出现在春季,脲酶活性高峰期出现在秋季,而过氧化物酶和多酚氧化酶活性高峰期出现在冬季;氮沉降增加了苦竹林土壤中木质素分解酶和碳、氮、磷分解相关酶(多酚氧化酶、蔗糖酶、酸性磷酸酶和脲酶)的活性,抑制了纤维素酶活性,而对过氧化物酶的影响不显著;苦竹林生态系统处于一种氮限制状态,氮沉降刺激了微生物-酶系统对土壤有机质的分解.  相似文献

以轮叶党参为材料,研究了不同外植体、激素组合、培养基及光照条件对愈伤组织诱导及植株再生的影响.结果表明,叶片是轮叶党参组织培养较为合适的外植体.外植体在添加0.5 mg·L~(-1) 2,4-D+1.0 mg·L~(-1) 6-BA+0.5 mg·L~(-1) KT的MS培养基上愈伤组织诱导率最高可达100%;愈伤组织转移到附加0.75 mg·L~(-1) 6-BA+0.5 mg·L~(-1) NAA的MS培养基进行继代培养,增殖后的愈伤组织转移到附加0.5 mg·L~(-1) 6-BA+0.2 mg·L~(-1) NAA的1/2MS分化培养基进行分化,其分化率达89.4%;将分化出的芽转接到附加0.2 mg·L~(-1) IAA+0.2 mg·L~(-1) NAA的1/2MS培养基,生根率达92.5%.暗培养诱导出愈伤组织后转到16 h·d~(-1)光照条件下,愈伤组织增殖倍数和分化率显著提高,再生苗健壮,长势强.  相似文献

This study quantifies the rate and intensity of re-infection with human hookworm and Schistosoma mansoni infection 12 months following successful treatment, and investigates the influence of socio-economic, geographical and environmental factors. A longitudinal study of 642 individuals aged over 5 years was conducted in Minas Gerais State, Brazil from June 2004 to March 2006. Risk factors were assessed using interval censored regression for the rate and negative binomial regression for intensity. The crude rate and intensity of hookworm re-infection was 0·21 per year (95% confidence interval (CI) 0·15-0·29) and 70·9 epg (95% CI 47·2-106·6). For S. mansoni the rate was 0·06 per year (95% CI 0·03-0·10) and intensity 6·51 epg (95% CI 3·82-11·11). Rate and intensity of re-infection with hookworm were highest among males and positively associated with previous infection status, absence of a toilet and house structure. Rate and intensity of S. mansoni re-infection were associated with previous infection status as well as geographical, environmental and socio-economic factors. The implications of findings for the design of anti-helminth vaccine trials are discussed.  相似文献

Sphagnum-bog ecosystems have a limited capability to retain carbon and nutrients when subjected to increased nitrogen (N) deposition. Although it has been proposed that phosphorus (P) can dilute negative effects of nitrogen by increasing biomass production of Sphagnum mosses, it is still unclear whether P-addition can alleviate physiological N-stress in Sphagnum plants. A 3-year fertilisation experiment was conducted in lawns of a pristine Sphagnum magellanicum bog in Patagonia, where competing vascular plants were practically absent. Background wet deposition of nitrogen was low (≈ 0.1-0.2 g · N · m(-2) · year(-1)). Nitrogen (4 g · N · m(-2) · year(-1)) and phosphorus (1 g · P · m(-2) · year(-1)) were applied, separately and in combination, six times during the growing season. P-addition substantially increased biomass production of Sphagnum. Nitrogen and phosphorus changed the morphology of Sphagnum mosses by enhancing height increment, but lowering moss stem density. In contrast to expectations, phosphorus failed to alleviate physiological stress imposed by excess nitrogen (e.g. amino acid accumulation, N-saturation and decline in photosynthetic rates). We conclude that despite improving growth conditions by P-addition, Sphagnum-bog ecosystems remain highly susceptible to nitrogen additions. Increased susceptibility to desiccation by nutrients may even worsen the negative effects of excess nitrogen especially in windy climates like in Patagonia.  相似文献

Our purpose was to elucidate effects of acute exercise and training on blood lipids-lipoproteins, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) in overweight/obese men (n = 10) and women (n = 8); age, BMI, body fat percentage, and VO(2)max were (mean ± SEM): 45 ± 2.5 years, 31.9 ± 1.4 kg·m(-2), 41.1 ± 1.5%, and 25.2 ± 1.3 mlO(2)·kg(-1)·min(-1). Before exercise training subjects performed an acute exercise session on a treadmill (70% VO(2)max, 400 kcal energy expenditure), followed by 12 weeks of endurance exercise training (land-based or aquatic-based treadmill): 3 sessions·week(-1), progressing to 500 kcal·session(-1) during which subjects maintained accustomed dietary habits. After training, the acute exercise session was repeated. Blood samples, obtained immediately before and 24 h after acute exercise sessions, were analyzed for serum lipids, lipoproteins, and hsCRP adjusted for plasma volume shifts. Exercise training increased VO(2)max (+3.67 mlO(2)·kg(-1)·min(-1), P < 0.001) and reduced body weight (-2.7 kg, P < 0.01). Training increased high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and HDL(2b)-cholesterol (HDL-C) concentrations (+3.7 and +2.4 mg·dl(-1), P < 0.05) and particle numbers (+588 and +206 nmol·l(-1), P < 0.05) in men. In women despite no change in total HDL-C, subfractions shifted from HDL(3)-C (-3.2, P < 0.01) to HDL(2b)-C (+3.5, P < 0.05) and HDL(2a)-C (+2.2 mg·dl(-1), P < 0.05), with increased HDL(2b) particle number (+313 nmol·l(-1), P < 0.05). Training reduced LDL(3) concentration and particle number in women (-1.6 mg·dl(-1) and -16 nmol·l(-1), P < 0.05). Acute exercise reduced the total cholesterol (TC): HDL-C ratio in men (-0.16, P < 0.01) and increased hsCRP in all subjects (+0.05 mg·dl(-1), P < 0.05), regardless of training. Training did not affect acute exercise responses. Our data support the efficacy of endurance training, without dietary intervention, to elicit beneficial changes in blood lipids-lipoproteins in obese men and women.  相似文献

This study examined the effects of four types of antinutritional factor (phytic acid, stachyose, soy saponins and soy isoflavones) on lipoprotein levels in plasma of Japanese flounder Paralichthys olivaceus. A basal diet was prepared with fish meal as primary protein source, the other diets were supplemented with 0·2, 0·4 or 0·8% phytic acid, 0·4, 0·8 or 1·5% stachyose, 0·1, 0·35 or 0·7% soy saponins and 0·10, 0·35 or 0·70% soy isoflavones, by dry mass, in place of white flour in the basal diet. Total cholesterol (TC) and triglyceride (TG) levels in plasma of P. olivaceus were not affected by phytic acid or stachyose. In general, addition of 0·2-0·8% phytic acid or 0·4-1·5% stachyose decreased plasma high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels, increased plasma low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels, thereby increasing the LDL-C:HDL-C ratio. By contrast, supplementation with 0·35-0·7% soy saponins generally depressed plasma TC levels and the LDL-C:HDL-C ratio. Supplementation with 0·35-0·7% soy isoflavones, however, increased plasma TC and TG levels. These results indicate that soy saponins may be partly responsible for the cholesterol-lowering effects of soybean meal.  相似文献
