Moav , Rom (Hebrew U., Jerusalem), and D. R. Cameron . Genetic instability in Nicotiana hybrids. I. The expression of instability in N. tabacum × N. plumbaginifolia. Amer. Jour. Bot. 47(2): 87—93. 1960.—N. tabacum (n = 24) and N. plumbaginifolia (n=10) are distantly related species both from morphological and cytological points of view. Hybrids of these species with various genome dosages have exhibited somatic variegation when plumbaginifolia dominant characters were superimposed on an appropriate tabacum genetic background. Five loci were studied in this respect: Wh and Tg—for flower coloration; Ws—for chlorophyll production; Kl—for pollen abortion and Bs—for black shank resistance. All 5 were found to be unstable. Backcross progenies of the sesquidiploid hybrid (tbc-tbc-pbg) to tabacum showed a marked increase in intensity of variegation. This has been attributed to the breaking up of the plumbaginifolia genome into individual chromosomes. The evidence indicates that variegation was due to somatic chromosomal aberrations which probably characterized all the plumbaginifolia chromosomes. An hypothesis regarding the heterogeneity of F1 hybrids of distantly related homozygous species is outlined and the occurrence of instability due to hybridization in other Nicotiana hybrids is discussed.  相似文献

The genetic relationships among New and Old World coregonid fishes were studied by electrophoresis. The genetic composition of 60 populations, representing perhaps nine commonly recognized species of Coregonus and Stenodus from Europe and North America was determined for 37 genetic loci. Six distinct genetic groups were evident. The first contained only populations of the inconnu, Stenodus leucichthys (Güldenstadt). The Nei genetic distance between Stenodus and Coregonus was 0.305, a relatively small value as compared to other salmonid inter-generic comparisons. The second genetic grouping contained the Arctic cisco, C. autumnalis (Pallas), the N. American lake cisco, C. artedii Lesueur, and the Irish pollan, C. autumnalis pollan Thompson. These three taxa appear to be conspecific on the basis of genetic distances. The third genetic grouping contained the European whitefish, C. lavaretus (L.), and the N. American lake whitefish, C. clupeaformis (Mitchill). European and lake whitefish may be conspecific. Lake whitefish from northwestern N. America were more closely related to European whitefish (genetic distance 0.038) than to lake whitefish from central N. America (genetic distance 0.098). The fourth group contained the broad whitefish, C. nasus (Pallas), which is perhaps more closely related to the European/lake whitefish groups than other coregonids. The fifth genetic grouping contained only the Asian endemic, C. peled (Gmelin), and the sixth contained the least cisco, C. sardinella Valenciennes, and vendace, C. albula (L.), which also appear to be conspecific. The widespread genetic groupings obtained for ciscoes indicate that they do not constitute a single closely related group within the genus Coregonus.  相似文献

Symbioses such as lichens are potentially threatened by drastic environmental changes. We used the lichen Peltigera aphthosa—a symbiosis between a fungus (mycobiont), a green alga (Coccomyxa sp.), and N2‐fixing cyanobacteria (Nostoc sp.)—as a model organism to assess the effects of environmental perturbations in nitrogen (N) or phosphorus (P). Growth, carbon (C) and N stable isotopes, CNP concentrations, and specific markers were analyzed in whole thalli and the partners after 4 months of daily nutrient additions in the field. Thallus N was 40% higher in N‐fertilized thalli, amino acid concentrations were twice as high, while fungal chitin but not ergosterol was lower. Nitrogen also resulted in a thicker algal layer and density, and a higher δ13C abundance in all three partners. Photosynthesis was not affected by either N or P. Thallus growth increased with light dose independent of fertilization regime. We conclude that faster algal growth compared to fungal lead to increased competition for light and CO2 among the Coccomyxa cells, and for C between alga and fungus, resulting in neither photosynthesis nor thallus growth responded to N fertilization. This suggests that the symbiotic lifestyle of lichens may prevent them from utilizing nutrient abundance to increase C assimilation and growth.  相似文献

The efficient use of nitrogen by crops can minimise environmental risks and maximise returns to farmers. Under organic farming systems, this can be achieved by adjusting the fertilisation management and/or using genetic variability. Seven durum wheat (Triticum durum) cultivars and three emmer (Triticum dicoccum) cultivars were assessed under an organic farming system over a non‐consecutive 4‐year period (2005–11) in Foggia (southern Italy). The objectives were to investigate the agronomic and qualitative characteristics, and to evaluate the agronomic efficiency and adaptability according to three N fertilisation levels (0, 40, 80 kg N ha?1). A split‐plot design was used, with three replications in each year. Nine traits were investigated: heading time, plant height, seed yield, number of spikes m?2, harvest index, specific weight, 1000‐seed weight, and protein and gluten contents. Increasing N to 80 kg ha?1 increased plant height (+7.3%), seed yield (+22.1%), spike density (+16.6%), and protein (+9.8%) and gluten (+2.1%) contents. The emmer genotypes and the oldest durum wheat ‘Cappelli’ showed the highest protein and gluten contents (mean, 13.9%, 11.2%, respectively). The maximum N agronomic efficiency [AE(N)] and N recovery efficiency [RE(N)] were seen for the modern durum wheat cultivars under 40 kg ha?1 N treatment: ‘Duilio’, ‘Iride’ and ‘Varano’. The significant correlation between AE(N) and RE(N) and the year of release of the durum wheat cultivars (r = 0.53, P < 0.05, F = 4.7 for AE(N) and r = 0.57, P < 0.01, F = 5.7 for RE(N), respectively; n = 14) showed that the genetic breeding of this species for high grain yield is associated with an increase in the efficiency of N fertiliser use under organic farming. The highly significant effect for the Genotype × Environment interaction (F = 18.1, P < 0.001) of seed yield indicate the possibility to select for stable genotypes across environments. Based on the additive main effects and multiplicative interaction analysis, and the yield stability index, the varieties ‘Iride’ and ‘Varano’ show high‐stability responses and good seed yields under all N fertiliser treatments. Therefore, these varieties can be recommended for organic farming systems in Mediterranean areas.  相似文献

Advances in genomic technologies are rapidly leading to new understandings of the roles that genetic variations play in obesity. Increasing public dissemination of information regarding the role of genetics in obesity could have beneficial, harmful, or neutral effects on the stigmatization of obese individuals. This study used an online survey and experimental design to examine the impact of genetic versus non‐genetic information on obesity stigma among self‐perceived non‐overweight individuals. Participants (n = 396) were randomly assigned to read either genetic, non‐genetic (environment), or gene—environment interaction obesity causal information. A total of 48% of participants were female; mean age was 42.7 years (range = 18–86 years); 75% were white; 45.2% had an annual household income of less than $40,000; mean BMI was 23.4 kg/m2. Obesity stigma was measured using the Fat Phobia Scale — short form (FPS‐S). After reading the experimental information, participants in the genetic and gene—environment conditions were more likely to believe that genetics increase obesity risk than participants in the non‐genetic condition (both P < 0.05), but did not differ on obesity stigma. Obesity stigma was higher among whites and Asians than Hispanics and African Americans (P = 0.029), and associated with low self‐esteem (P = 0.036). Obesity stigma was also negatively associated with holding 'germ or virus' (P = 0.033) and 'overwork' (P = 0.016) causal beliefs about obesity, and positively associated with 'diet or eating habits' (P = 0.001) and 'lack of exercise' (P = 0.004) causal beliefs. Dissemination of brief information about the role of genetics in obesity may have neither a beneficial nor a harmful impact on obesity stigmatization compared with non‐genetic information among self‐perceived non‐overweight individuals.  相似文献

Food web dynamics are vital in shaping the functional ecology of ecosystems. However, trophic ecology is still in its infancy in groundwater ecosystems due to the cryptic nature of these environments. To unravel trophic interactions between subterranean biota, we applied an interdisciplinary Bayesian mixing model design (multi‐factor BMM) based on the integration of faunal C and N bulk tissue stable isotope data (δ13C and δ15N) with radiocarbon data (Δ14C), and prior information from metagenomic analyses. We further compared outcomes from multi‐factor BMM with a conventional isotope double proxy mixing model (SIA BMM), triple proxy (δ13C, δ15N, and Δ14C, multi‐proxy BMM), and double proxy combined with DNA prior information (SIA + DNA BMM) designs. Three species of subterranean beetles (Paroster macrosturtensis, Paroster mesosturtensis, and Paroster microsturtensis) and their main prey items Chiltoniidae amphipods (AM1: Scutachiltonia axfordi and AM2: Yilgarniella sturtensis), cyclopoids and harpacticoids from a calcrete in Western Australia were targeted. Diet estimations from stable isotope only models (SIA BMM) indicated homogeneous patterns with modest preferences for amphipods as prey items. Multi‐proxy BMM suggested increased—and species‐specific—predatory pressures on amphipods coupled with high rates of scavenging/predation on sister species. SIA + DNA BMM showed marked preferences for amphipods AM1 and AM2, and reduced interspecific scavenging/predation on Paroster species. Multi‐factorial BMM revealed the most precise estimations (lower overall SD and very marginal beetles' interspecific interactions), indicating consistent preferences for amphipods AM1 in all the beetles' diets. Incorporation of genetic priors allowed crucial refining of the feeding preferences, while integration of more expensive radiocarbon data as a third proxy (when combined with genetic data) produced more precise outcomes but close dietary reconstruction to that from SIA + DNA BMM. Further multidisciplinary modeling from other groundwater environments will help elucidate the potential behind these designs and bring light to the feeding ecology of one the most vital ecosystems worldwide.  相似文献

Allozyme genetic variability in three chestnut (Castanea) species was investigated using 19 loci from ten enzyme systems. G-tests of heterogeneity of isozymic allele distribution showed significant differences between the three species at 15 of the 19 loci, and between the 13 C. mollissima populations at 13 of the 19 loci examined. C. mollissima was found to possess a significantly-higher value of mean gene heterozygosity (H=0.3050±0.0419), the percentage of polymorphic loci (P=84.21%) and the average number of alleles per locus (A=2.05), than any other species in the Castanea section Eucastanon. When the genetic variability of populations of C. mollissima from four regions in China was investigated, the population from the Changjiang river region showed a markedly higher mean gene heterozygosity (H=0.3480±0.0436) than populations from the other regions. Genetic relationships among the four regions were assessed by Nei's genetic identity I and standard genetic distance D. An approximately-identical distance between the population from the Changjiang river region and populations from the three other regions was observed, while populations from the latter regions showed almost the same genetic distance from each other. These data, when considered with information existing prior to this study, contribute to an understanding of the possible origin and progenitor of the chestnut species.  相似文献

Genetic variability and divergence at 21 enzyme loci were studied in and between Italian populations of the cave spiders Nesticus eremita (13 populations), N. menozzii and N. sbordonii (one population each). The three species differ with respect to the degree of specialization to cave life, dispersion ability, isolation of populations, abundancy, extent of the distribution area, and range from the troglophilic and widespread N. eremita to the troglobitic N. sbordonii, endemic to a single cave in the Central Appennines.Heterozygosity ranges from 0.05 to 0.15 in N. eremita populations and appears to be largely controlled by the occurrence and the extent of gene flow among populations. The relatively low polymorphism levels of N. menozzii (H=0.081) and N. sbordonii (H=0.106) are also associated with reduced gene flow and small population sizes.Genetic distances between N. eremita populations vary considerably and are strictly related to the geographical distances involved, again indicating a major role of gene flow in determining the patterns of genetic differentiation between populations. This view is strongly supported by the results of a principal component analysis applied to the gene-frequency data. Estimates of genetic divergence between species suggest that the major cladogenetic events leading to complete separation of these three Nesticus species occurred in the Middle-late Pliocene.  相似文献

Heterotrophic nitrogen fixation is a key ecosystem process in unpolluted, temperate old‐growth forests of southern South America as a source of new nitrogen to ecosystems. Decomposing leaf litter is an energy‐rich substrate that favours the occurrence of this energy demanding process. Following the niche ‘complementarity hypothesis’, we expected that decomposing leaf litter of a single tree species would support lower rates of non‐symbiotic N fixation than mixed species litter taken from the forest floor. To test this hypothesis we measured acetylene reduction activity in the decomposing monospecific litter of three evergreen tree species (litter C/N ratios, 50–79) in an old‐growth rain forest of Chiloé Island, southern Chile. Results showed a significant effect of species and month (anova , Tukey's test, P < 0.05) on decomposition and acetylene reduction rates (ARR), and a species effect on C/N ratios and initial % N of decomposing leaf litter. The lowest litter quality was that of Nothofagus nitida (C/N ratio = 78.7, lignin % = 59.27 ± 4.09), which resulted in higher rates of acetylene reduction activity (mean = 34.09 ± SE = 10.34 nmol h?1 g?1) and a higher decomposition rate (k = 0.47) than Podocarpus nubigena (C/N = 54.4, lignin % = 40.31 ± 6.86, Mean ARR = 4.11 ± 0.71 nmol h?1 g?1, k = 0.29), and Drimys winteri (C/N = 50.6, lignin % = 45.49 ± 6.28, ARR = 10.2 ± 4.01 nmol h?1 g?1, k = 0.29), and mixed species litter (C/N = 60.7, ARR = 8.89 ± 2.13 nmol h?1g?1). We interpret these results as follows: in N‐poor litter and high lignin content of leaves (e.g. N. nitida) free‐living N fixers would be at competitive advantage over non‐fixers, thereby becoming more active. Lower ARR in mixed litter can be a consequence of a lower litter C/N ratio compared with single species litter. We also found a strong coupling between in situ acetylene reduction and net N mineralization in surface soils, suggesting that as soon N is fixed by diazotroph bacteria it may be immediately incorporated into mineral soil by N mineralizers, thus reducing N immobilization.  相似文献

Burying beetles (Nicrophorus sp.) are necrophagous insects with developed parental care. Genome of Nicrophorus vespilloides has been recently sequenced, which makes them interesting model organism in behavioral ecology. However, we know very little about their physiology, including the functioning of their neuroendocrine system. In this study, one of the physiological activities of proctolin, myosuppressin (Nieve? MS), myoinhibitory peptide (Trica-MIP-5) and the short neuropeptide F (Nicve-sNPF) in N. vespilloides have been investigated. The tested neuropeptides were myoactive on N. vespilloides hindgut. After application of the proctolin increased hindgut contraction frequency was observed (EC50 value was 5.47 x 10-8 mol/L). The other tested neuropeptides led to inhibition of N. vespilloides hindgut contractions (Nicve-MS: IC50 = 5.20 x 10~5 mol/L;Trica-MIP-5: IC50 = 5.95 x 10-6 mol/L;Nicvc-sNPF: IC50 = 4.08 x 10-5 mol/L). Moreover, the tested neuropeptides were immunolocalized in the nervous system of N. vespilloides. Neurons containing sNPF and MIP in brain and ventral nerve cord (VNC) were identified. Proctolin-immunolabeled neurons only in VNC were observed. Moreover, MIP-immunolabeled varicosities and fibers in retrocerebral complex were observed. In addition, our results have been supplemented with alignments of amino acid sequences of these neuropeptides in beetle species. This alignment analysis clearly showed amino acid sequence similarities between neuropeptides. Moreover, this allowed to deduce amino acid sequence of N. vespilloides proctolin (RYLPTa), Nicve-MS (QDVDHVFLRFa) and six isoforms ofNicve-MIP (Nicve-MIP-1一 DWNRNLHSWa;Nicve-MIP-2—AWQNLQGGWa;Nicve-MIP-3—AWQNLQGGWa;Nicve-MlP-4—AWKNLNNAGWa;Nicve-MIP-5—SEWGNFRGSWa;Nicve-MIP-6— DPAWTNLKGIWa;and Nicve-sNPF—SGRSPSLRLRFa).  相似文献

Theoretical analyses of the genetic organization of pioneer species have postulated two very different scenarios. Some models have predicted that such species would show strong population substructuring, whereas other models have suggested that extinction and recolonization can augment gene flow and reduce interpopulation differentiation. We tested these alternative scenarios by analyzing the genetic structure of eight loci from populations of the pioneer dioecious tree, Cecropia obtusifolia, in the tropical rain forest region of Los Tuxtlas, México. The populations studied exhibit low overall FST values, no clear pattern of isolation by distance, and high estimates of gene flow. These results suggest either that the species is not at a genetic equilibrium under present levels of gene flow with populations derived from each other in the recent past, or that pollen and seed dispersal in this species occur over long distances (up to more than 100 km). Mating among relatives appears higher than expected by chance based on significantly positive fixation indices (F) and FIS values at some loci. However, no direct evidence for biparental inbreeding was found. The multilocus and single-locus outcrossing rates for C. obtusifolia were estimated at tm = 0.974 (SE = 0.024) and ts = 0.980 (SE = 0.035), respectively. These are not significantly different from 1, and the difference, tmts = — 0.006 (SE = 0.018), is not significantly different from 0. These estimates, however, could be biased because in all enzymes, except PGM-1, we found statistically significant departures from the mixed-mating model used to estimate them. Two rare alleles were found only in seeds collected from the soil, and the greatest number of different alleles were found also in soil seeds. It is hypothesized that the seed bank may play an important role in the genetic buffering of C. obtusifolia. Significantly positive or negative fixation indices in adults at some loci and significantly different heterozygosities among different life stages (from seeds to adults) suggest the action of selection at some loci.  相似文献

The conformational and structural stabilities of nitrosoethylene CH2=CH–N=O, chloronitrosoethylene CH2=CCl–N=O, and Dichloronitrosoethylene CCl2=CH–N=O were investigated by ab initio Moeller–Plesset perturbation theory of second order (MP2) calculations using the 6−311+G** basis set to include electron correlation. From the calculations all three were predicted to exist predominantly in the planar trans structure (C=C and N=O bonds are trans to each other) with high trans-cis rotational barriers of about 9 kcal mol−1 as a result of pronounced conjugation between C=C and N=O bonds. The vibrational frequencies were computed for the three molecules, and also the d 1 and d 2 deuterated variants for the parent molecule at the MP2 level. Normal coordinate analyses were carried out and the potential energy distributions (PED), among the symmetry coordinates of the normal modes of the molecule were computed. Complete vibrational assignments were made on the basis of normal coordinate analyses for the molecules. The two chlorinated derivatives of nitrosoethylene were also investigated in the same way. As expected, we then find high Raman and infrared intensities in all modes that contain a high content of chlorine movements because vibrations of C–Cl bonds lead to large changes in polarizability, as well as to a large change in dipole moment. However, modes involving double bonds also have quite large intensities. An appreciable number of modes in these molecules are more or less pure symmetry coordinates.  相似文献

Chromosome rearrangements may affect the rate and patterns of gene flow within species, through reduced fitness of structural heterozygotes or by reducing recombination rates in rearranged areas of the genome. While the effects of chromosome rearrangements on gene flow have been studied in a wide range of organisms with monocentric chromosomes, the effects of rearrangements in holocentric chromosomes—chromosomes in which centromeric activity is distributed along the length of the chromosome—have not. We collected chromosome number and molecular genetic data in Carex scoparia, an eastern North American plant species with holocentric chromosomes and highly variable karyotype (2n = 56–70). There are no deep genetic breaks within C. scoparia that would suggest cryptic species differentiation. However, genetic distance between individuals is positively correlated with chromosome number difference and geographic distance. A positive correlation is also found between chromosome number and genetic distance in the western North American C. pachystachya (2n = 74–81). These findings suggest that geographic distance and the number of karyotype rearrangements separating populations affect the rate of gene flow between those populations. This is the first study to quantify the effects of holocentric chromosome rearrangements on the partitioning of intraspecific genetic variance.  相似文献

The impact of extended herbicide (H) and annual fertilizer (F) treatments on the mineral soil carbon (C) pool and nitrogen (N) and phosphorous (P) availability were analyzed in managed loblolly pine (Pinus taeda L.) plantations in the Piedmont of Georgia in stands ranging from 4 to 16 years old. Mineral soil C, N, P, and extractable P were measured in 66 plots in three locations comparing H, F, and their combination HF to the Control plots. Soils were sampled in January 2000 near Eatonton (n = 40), in August 2001 near Athens (n = 12), and in March 2003 near Dawsonville (n = 14). In addition, twelve plots (two H and two HF at each location) were measured on 17 dates using a mixed bead resin core technique to estimate mineral soil N availability. At all three study locations the H treatment tended to deplete the mineral soil C pool while, overall, the F treatments did not determine any significant mineral soil C increase. The soil C pool (0- to 50-cm depth) was depleted by about 5 Mg C ha−1 under the H-treated plots near Eatonton. The HF plots had much higher resin-extractable N than the corresponding H plots in all months of the year. At a plot level, HF values ranged from about 9 to 3,195 μg N g−1 resin while H values ranged from about 4 to 858 μg N g−1 resin. The corresponding annual cumulative resin-extractable N ranged from about 13 kg N ha−1 in the H to about 372 kg N ha−1 in the HF. Extractable P values were also elevated in all F-treated plots. Fertilization and herbicide treatments favored C sequestration only in the aboveground biomass. No significant change was observed in the mineral soil C pool, despite the generally observed increases in soil available N and P.  相似文献

采用SSR分子标记分析延胡索的遗传多样性,筛选出多态性高、稳定性好的12对引物,对19个居群360份延胡索样品进行了群体遗传分析。结果表明:(1)12对SSR引物共扩增出多态性位点227个,检测到4~9个等位基因,平均等位基因数目为5.25个,表现出丰富的多态性;延胡索居群具有较高的遗传多样性(Na=5.25,I=1.192 6,H=0.387 9),物种间遗传分化程度高(Fst=0.388 3),基因流较弱(Nm=0.393 8)。(2)UPGMA聚类分析和贝叶斯距离分析结果表明,19个居群明显聚为4大支;Mantle Test结果(r=0.326,P=0.01)表明,地理位置相近的种群亲缘关系更近。研究认为,延胡索的遗传结构是该物种自交为主的繁育系统、克隆生长、地理隔离以及居群间有限的基因流共同作用的结果,故对该物种的保护应以就地保护为主。  相似文献

To understand the impacts of past climatic change and geological events on the evolutionary history of Calligonum sect. Pterococcus, including C. aphyllum, C. rubicundum and C. leucocladum, a total of 128 individuals from 14 populations, mainly from arid Northwest China, were sampled. Two cpDNA intergenic spacer regions (rpl32‐trnL and ycf6‐psbM) were sequenced and 11 haplotypes were identified. Levels of genetic differentiation between populations was low in C. rubicundum (FST = 0.54317, p < 0.001) and C. aphyllum (FST = 0.55795), while much higher in C. leucocladum (FST = 0.95800, p < 0.001), possibly as an effct of differences in geographic distributions and habitats. Analysis of molecular variance (AMOVA) revealed that most of the total genetic variations occurred among species (72.97%). Among eleven identified haplotypes, only H1 and H2 were shared between C. aphyllum and C. rubicundum, while nine were private for one of the three species. The eleven identified haplotypes were divided into two major clades, but they did not yield three species‐specific lineages. Calligonum sect. Pterococcus therefore not appeared reciprocally monophyletic, more likely due to incomplete lineage sorting than hybridization. Mismatch distribution analysis suggested that only C. aphyllum has experienced recent demographic expansion. Divergence time among the 11 haplotypes was estimated at between 2.84 Ma and 0.06 Ma. Within the two clades, haplotype divergence began in early Pleistocene and mainly occurred during the middle to late Pleistocene and was most likely triggered by Quaternary climatic oscillations and increasing aridity of the region.  相似文献

为探讨黄土高原典型草原优势种植物及其根际土壤化学计量对不同降水量的响应,以宁夏固原云雾山封育20年典型草原为研究对象,利用遮雨棚技术模拟了3个不同的降水梯度(自然降水量的50%、100%和150%),测定了优势种长芒草(Stipa bungeana)、星毛委陵菜(Potentilla acaulis)和白莲蒿(Artemisia sacrorum)的地上、地下全碳(TC)、全氮(TN)、全磷(TP)含量及其根际土壤有机碳(RSOC)、全氮、全磷含量,分析了各个优势种及其根际土壤化学计量及其之间的相关性。结果表明:(1)3个优势种地上、地下总C含量、地上N含量均在50%降水下较高,星毛委陵菜地上和地下P含量及地上、地下总P含量均在100%降水处理下最高。(2)50%降水与150%降水处理相比较,长芒草地上C/N、C/P及白莲蒿、星毛委陵菜地下C/P均有显著差异(P<0.05),150%降水处理下优势种N/P显著高于50%降水处理(P<0.05)。(3) 3个优势种根际土壤C、N含量高于黄土高原土壤C、N含量且150%降水处理下根际土壤C含量显著高于50%降水处理(P<0...  相似文献

薄叶金花茶、小花金花茶和小瓣金花茶是三种濒危金花茶植物,为了解珍稀濒危植物遗传多样性和遗传结构,该研究利用微卫星标记对他们的7个种群共184个个体进行了遗传多样性和遗传结构分析。结果表明:11个位点共检测到等位基因92个。在物种水平上,小瓣金花茶平均等位基因数(N_A)为3.9、有效等位基因数(N_E)为2.328、观测杂合度(H_o)为0.520、期望杂合度(H_e)为0.501,高于薄叶金花茶和小花金花茶。在种群水平上,有效等位基因数(N_E)在1.788~2.466之间,期望杂合度(H_e)在0.379~0.543之间;种群间遗传分化系数(FST)在0.143 7~0.453 3之间,种群间基因流(N_m)在0.301 5~1.488 9之间。AMOVA分子变异分析显示65.72%的变异存在于种群内。三种金花茶具有较低水平的遗传多样性和高水平的种群间遗传分化。STRUCTURE和PCoA种群遗传结构分析结果将取样种群分为2组,即薄叶金花茶和小花金花茶大部分个体分为一组,小瓣金花茶大部分个体分为一组。现存所有种群应根据实际情况尽快采取就地保护或迁地保护措施。  相似文献

Dissolved organic carbon and nitrogen (DOC and DON) produced in the forest floor are important for ecosystem functions such as microbial metabolism, pedogenesis and pollutant transport. Past work has shown that both DOC and DON production are related to litterfall and standing stocks of C and N in the forest floor. This study, conducted in spring, 2003, investigated variation in forest floor water extractable DOC (WEDOC) and DON (WEDON) and forest floor C and N as a function of lignin, cellulose and N contained in live canopy foliage across eight Picea abies [L.] Karst stands in northern Bohemia. Based on Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) analysis of foliar materials, lignin:N and cellulose:N content of the youngest needles (those produced in 2002) were positively and significantly related to WEDOC (R2 = 0.82–0.97; P<0.01) and to forest floor C:N ratio (R = 0.72–0.78; P<0.01). Foliar N was strongly and negatively related to WEDOC and C:N ratio (R = −0.91 and 0.72; P<0.05) among our study sites. WEDON was positively correlated to foliar lignin:N (R = 0.48; P<0.05; n=40). Forest floor C pools were not positively correlated with foliar lignin and cellulose and forest floor N pools were not positively correlated with foliar N. Instead, a significant negative correlation was found between forest floor N pools and foliar cellulose (R=−0.41; P<0.05), and between forest floor C pools and foliar N (R = −0.44; P<0.05). From a remote sensing standpoint, our results are important because canopy reflectance properties are primarily influenced by the most recent foliage, and it was the chemistry of the most recently produced needles that showed a stronger relationship with forest floor WEDOC and C:N ratio suggesting forest floor production of WEDOC can be calculated regionally with remote sensing.  相似文献

Autism spectrum disorders (ASDs), which include the prototypic autistic disorder (AD), Asperger’s syndrome (AS) and pervasive developmental disorders not otherwise specified (PDD‐NOS), are complex neurodevelopmental conditions of unknown aetiology. The current study investigated the metabolites in the methionine cycle, the transsulphuration pathway, folate, vitamin B12 and the C677T polymorphism of the MTHFR gene in three groups of children diagnosed with AD (n= 15), AS (n= 5) and PDD‐NOS (n= 19) and their age‐ and sex‐matched controls (n= 25). No metabolic disturbances were seen in the AS patients, while in the AD and PDD‐NOS groups, lower plasma levels of methionine (P= 0.01 and P= 0.03, respectively) and α‐aminobutyrate were observed (P= 0.01 and P= 0.001, respectively). Only in the AD group, plasma cysteine (P= 0.02) and total blood glutathione (P= 0.02) were found to be reduced. Although there was a trend towards lower levels of serine, glycine, N, N‐dimethylglycine in AD patients, the plasma levels of these metabolites as well as the levels of homocysteine and cystathionine were not statistically different in any of the ASDs groups. The serum levels of vitamin B12 and folate were in the normal range. The results of the MTHFR gene analysis showed a normal distribution of the C677T polymorphism in children with ASDs, but the frequency of the 677T allele was slightly more prevalent in AD patients. Our study indicates a possible role for the alterations in one carbon metabolism in the pathophysiology of ASDs and provides, for the first time, preliminary evidence for metabolic and genetic differences between clinical subtypes of ASDs.  相似文献
