The common iliac lymph nodes (CILN) have been investigated on 24 preparations from corpses of elderly persons (5 male and 7 female corpses), died from the causes not connected with the lymphatic system diseases, lower extremities and pelvic organs. The CILN with their afferent and deferent lymphatic vessels are revealed by means of interstitial injection into the lower extremities and pelvic organs, as well as by means of direct injection into lymphatic vessels. The form, amount, size and topography of CILN are studied. Lymphatic vessels, running from certain parts of the body and organs to various subgroups of CILN are described, as well as lymphatic vessels, connecting the nodes both within each subgroup and between the subgroups. There is a tendency in prevalence of amount and size of the lateral subgroup of the lymph nodes over the nodes of other subgroups of CILN; tendency in prevalence of amount of the lymph nodes in men, and their size--in women; prevalence of amount of right CILN and their size in the left--in persons of both sex; in 70% of the cases the amount of afferent lymphatic vessels to CILN prevails over that of the deferent lymph nodes.  相似文献

By means of incubation of slices in 2% solution of glyoxylic acid distribution of adrenergic fibers in the rabbit lymph nodes and in the thoracic lymphatic duct has been studied. Adrenergic fibers get into parenchyma of the lymph nodes via two ways. The first--the perivascular, when the nervous fibers make a plexus and get into the node along the blood vessels, the second--diffuse nervous fibers get together with trabecules in between the lymphoid nodules. The distribution density of the adrenergic fibers is not the same in different groups of the lymph nodes. In the lumbar nodes it is the highest. In the lymph nodes of the cervical part the density of the sympathetic fibers is, as a rule, lower than in the lumbar, but higher than in the axillary nodes. The lowest density of th adrenergic fibers is in the mesenteric, superficial inguinal lymph nodes and in the lymph nodes, situating near the thoracic part of the aorta. In the lymphatic duct wall small amount of adrenergic fibers are revealed, they form a plexus, predominantly in the cranial part.  相似文献

The amount and size of the lymphatic nodes of the lateral subgroup predominate over the nodes of other subgroups of the common iliac lymph nodes; the amount of the common iliac lymph nodes predominates in men, and their size--in women. Amount of these nodes in the right and their size in the left predominate in both sex. Among the common iliac lymph nodes there are no teniform nodes, and efferent lymphatic vessels of the lateral and medial subgroup of the common iliac lymph nodes in 15% of cases run towards the lumbar nodes in the opposite side.  相似文献

The investigation of the external iliac lymph nodes has been performed in 152 preparations of corpses of mature persons of both sex, who died from causes not connected with any disease of the lymphatic system, lower extremities and pelvic organs. The external iliac lymph nodes and their afferent and efferent lymphatic vessels have been revealed by means of interstitial injection of the lower extremities and pelvic organs, as well as by means of direct injection of Gerota mass into the lymphatic vessels. Form, amount, dimensions and topography of common iliac lymph nodes have been studied. Lymphatic vessels, running from certain parts and organs of the body to various subgroups of the external iliac lymph nodes have been described, as well as efferent lymph vessels of these nodes. The external iliac lymph nodes are constant formations; the largest of them--lymph nodes of the lacuna--are nodes of the I step for the lower extremity lymph vessels. In 54% of cases in persons of both sex positive (right-sided) asymmetry has been revealed. Total amount of the iliac lymph nodes prevails in men, while their size is greater in women. The size of these nodes in persons of both sex is greater to the left than to the right. There are connections (in 3% of cases) between the external iliac lymph nodes and aortal and lumbar nodes of the opposite side.  相似文献

The dynamic of cellular reactions demonstrates certain changes in functional activity of all structures of the node during pregnancy. A similar trend of processes in the iliac (regional for the uterus) and mesenteric lymph nodes has been defined. At early stages of pregnancy, lymph nodule are the most active, this is demonstrated as an increasing portion of lymphoblasts, macrophages and dividing cells. During this period, cell composition of the cortical plateau is relatively stable. For the paracortical zone of the mesenteric lymph nodes a rather significant decrease in the portion of middle lymphocytes and reticular cells is characteristic. There is not any significant change in the relative amount of the cells in the same functional zone of the iliac lymph nodes during the same period of pregnancy. The medullar cords demonstrate an increasing number of blast forms and young plasmocytes. However, as the pregnancy develops, the structure of the paracortical zone undergoes an essential change--progressively increases the portion of lymphoblasts and large lymphocytes. The blastic reaction in the mesenteric lymph nodes is proved to depend, to some extent, on that in the iliac lymph nodes of the same animal. Mature plasma cells become the dominating cellular element in the medullary cords. At the end of the pregnancy a relative amount of the reticular cells increases in all structural zones of the node.  相似文献

Under investigation were the lymph nodes on the anterior surface of the femur in the area of the femural triangle in 96 preparations of lower extremities of corpses of people of either sex in the age from 31 to 82 years. The Gerota's mass was injected into the skin of feet, external genitalia and the skin of the lower part of the anterior wall of the abdomen. It was established that the total amount of the inguinal lymph nodes in men was greater than in women, the size of the superficial nodes in women was greater than of those in men, while the size of profound lymph nodes in men was greater than in women. The amount of the inguinal lymph nodes was proportional to the Skerly's index and the dimensions were inversely proportional to their amount. The amount of inguinal lymph nodes in persons of either sex of a dolichomorphic type of figure was greater than in persons of a brachymorphic type. The dimensions of the nodes in persons of brachymorphic type of figure were predominant.  相似文献

Mesenteric lymph nodes in fetuses and offspring of white rats have been studied during various age periods after indomethacin injection in doses 2.5 mg/kg and 1 mg/kg daily from the 18th up to 21st day of pregnancy. Dose-dependent retardation in formation of main structures of the mesenteric lymph nodes, decreasing amount of the lymphoid type cells have been revealed. Retardation in the capsule, sinuses and reticular fibers of the node takes place, as well as decrease in lympho- and plasmocytopoiesis. It is more pronounced after indomethacin in dose 2.5 mg/kg. Simultaneously, formation of the cerebral substance and appearance of lymphoid nodules and their germinative centers are delayed. After the drug effect (2.5 mg/kg), up to the age of 2 weeks the amount of tissue basophils and eosinophilic granulocytes decreases. When the dose of the drug is 1 mg/kg decreasing amount of these cells is substituted for their compensatory increase on the 2d-3d week. The data obtained demonstrate a decreasing function of the lymph nodes, that depends on the dose of indomethacin.  相似文献

The amount of plasma cells is connected with intensity of humoral immunological reactions. In people died an accidental death, the amount of immature plasma cells is the least in the axillary and the greatest--in the mesenteric nodes, especially in the thymus-independent zone. The amount of lymphoblasts and large lymphocytes, reflecting intensity of the humoral and cellular immune reactions, is also the greatest in the mesenteric lymph nodes, both in the thymus-dependent and in the thymus-independent zone. In all probability, the intensity of the immunological processes is minimal in the axillary, it is middle in the iliac and cervical and it is maximal in the mesenteric lymph nodes. In each case it is probably connected with peculiarities of antigenic composition of the lymph inflow. The mesenteric lymph nodes are on the way of the foreign protein getting into the intestine. This is evidently reflected by the highest content of immature plasma cells, lymphoblasts and large lymphocytes in them.  相似文献

Using anatomical and roentgenoanatomical methods in 132 corpses of persons (from newborns up to 83 years of age) the anatomy of the lumbar lymph nodes and their vessels has been studied. Their topography, skeletotopy , amount, dimensions and form have been determined. Afferent and deferent lymphatic vessels in various groups of the lumbar lymph nodes, collateral pathways of lymph outflow to by-pass the lumbar lymph nodes are described. Due to investigations of 102 renal preparations performed on corpses of mature persons, topographic peculiarities of the lymph nodes, getting lymph from the left and right kidneys, are revealed. Every lymph node of the left kidney gets greater amount of lymphatic vessels than every node of the right kidney. The lymph, running from the right kidney, usually gets through a less number of the subsequently arranged nodes up to the thoracic duct, as compared to the lymph, that runs from the left kidney. A typical position for the node, which the renal lymphatic vessels get into, is the fatty tissue in the area of the angle formed by the aorta edge and the inferior wall of the corresponding renal artery. The lymphatic nodes of the right kidney are arranged in the fatty tissue more compact than the left ones. These peculiarities, revealed by morphological investigations, are proved by analysis of 114 case histories of persons suffering from malignant neoplasms in the kidneys.  相似文献

In the experiment performed on 80 mongrel female dogs by means of morphological and roentgenographical methods the structure of the lymphatic bed, pathways of lymph outflow and localization of the regional lymph nodes of the external genitals have been studied in the norm, at inflammation and at malignant tumors. Normal lymph outflow (53 animals) from the external genitals occurs via direct, cross and roundabout pathways. The regional nodes of the I order are inguinal lymph nodes and all the pelvic nodes, anorectal ones including. A part of vessels, without getting the lymph nodes mentioned, get into the retrosternal, caudal lumbar lymph nodes and the lumbar trunk. The cross of the lymphatic pathways occurs via the anterior, posterior commissures, at the level of the inguinal lymph nodes and within the limits of the pelvis. At an acute inflammation (24 animals) besides those mentioned above, roundabout vessels in the middle third of the femur are constantly revealed. They get into the femoral collector, and the vessels in the inferior third of the femur come into the popliteal lymph nodes. At malignant tumors of the external genitals (3 animals), besides all the pathways of the lymph outflow mentioned above, the femoral-crural roundabout pathway appears, it is connected with the lymphatic collector of the crus. Some vessels of the external genitals, combining with the vessels of the vagina, urethra and urinary bladder, get into the lumbar trunk and into the caudal lumbar lymph nodes. Tracheobronchial, mesenterial and inguinal lymph nodes of 15 mature rabbits which were subjected to inhalation of valatile products of fluoroplast destruction were studied. The action of this drug for 1-40 days activated the reactive centers of follicles. The amount of blasts, plasmic cells, eosinophils, macrophages, lymphocytes increased in regional tracheobronchial and distant mesenterial lymph nodes. The prolonged action during 120 days resulted in decreased blasto- and lymphopoesis in the regional tracheobroncheal lymph nodes, depression of the reticular epithelium, suppression of the phagocytic and plasm cell reactions, decreased nucleic metabolism in the cells. Mesenterial lymph nodes retained their functions. The lymphopoesis in them and nucleic metabolism in the cells were intensified. The blastic, plasmic cell, eosinophilic and mast cell reactions were well pronounced.  相似文献

An anatomical investigation of extraorganic lymphatic vessels and regional renal lymph nodes has been performed in 70 dogs. The regional lymph nodes in the right kidney are stated to be quantitatively constant, as well as cranial and caudal lateroaortal lymph nodes in the left kidney in regard to the middle left lateroaortal nodes, that get lymph from the left kidney parenchyma. One middle left lateroaortal lymph node is found in 47 animals examined, two lymph nodes--in 17 animals. In 6 cases a lymphatic vessel, that gets lymph from the renal parenchyma and independently runs into the cistern of the thoracic duct is found for the first time. The variant revealed is an exception from the rule known in lymphology: lymph in its way from periphery to the central collector runs, at least, through one lymph node.  相似文献

Under study were the popliteal lymph nodes of rats at different times after total irradiation of animals (the 1st series), total irradiation with screening the left node (the 2nd series) and local screening of other parts of the body (the 3rd series). X-ray irradiation in all experiments was performed under standard conditions in dosage of 800 r. The amount of mitoses (MC 0/00) in light centers and cortical substance was counted in addition to histological alterations. In shielded lymph nodes (2nd series) mediate effects of irradiation were observed characterized by a decrease of the MK amount and massive death of lymphocytes in later terms than after direct effects (1st series). In irradiated nodes (3rd series) the reparative process was more rapid than in the first series due to migration of lymphocytes from non-irradiated parts of the body. The mediate effect of radiation results also in increased amount of plasma cells in lymphatic nodes of animals subjected to total irradiation (1st and 2nd series). It is suggested by the absence of such increase of amount of plasma cells in locally irradiated lymphatic nodes when screening other parts of the body (3rd series). availability of individual distinctions in the character of the lymphoid tissue response to effects of ionizing radiation puts a question of division of experimental animals at least into 2 subgroups which have different indices of proliferative processes.  相似文献

Previous studies of hyaluronan uptake and catabolism by lymph nodes indicated that the nodes might also add some HA of low molecular weight to the unabsorbed fraction that passes through from afferent to efferent lymph vessels.The ability of lymph nodes to synthesise HA and proteoglycans was therefore examined (i) by perfusion of [3H] acetate through an afferent lymph vessel in vivo, and recovery of labeled products from the efferent lymph vessel and from the node after perfusion; and (ii) by tissue culture of lymph nodes with [3H] acetate.Perfusion of lymph nodes with [3H] acetate in situ yielded: (a), in outflowing lymph, small amounts of chondroitin/dermatan sulfate within the first hour which continued to be produced for up to 24[emsp4 ]h; heparin in the second hour and HA in the third. In the nodes removed 17 to 19[emsp4 ]h later, equal amounts of hyaluronan and chondroitin/dermatan sulfate and heparan sulfate proteoglycans were detected. In the tissue culture of lymph nodes: (1) HA, heparin and proteoglycans of heparan sulfate and chondroitin/dermatan sulfate were released into the medium but in the cell extract only heparan sulfate proteoglycan was detected; and (ii) molecular weight of the released hyaluronan ranged widely but was mostly less than 4–5×105[emsp4 ]D; heparan sulfate proteoglycan was 2.8×104 to 9.4×105[emsp4 ]D; heparin 7.9×104[emsp4 ]D and chondroitin sulfate 1.3×104[emsp4 ]D, suggesting that the chondrotin sulfate were released from their proteoglycans core by enzymic degradation.It is concluded that lymph nodes can release HA, heparin, heparan sulfate and chondroitin/dermatan sulfate proteoglycans into efferent lymph but the amount of hyaluronan is likely to be small without immune or other stimulation and its molecular weight is lower than in other tissues.  相似文献

From the body of the rat uterus, the lymph outflows into the caudal lymph nodes and when the latter are absent--into the iliac lymph nodes. From the medial and middle parts of the uterine horn the lymph out flows into the iliac lymph nodes, and from the lateral part of the uterine horn--into the renal lymph nodes. Some parts of the lymph outflows into corresponding contralateral lymph nodes. If the mass of the caudal lymph nodes in pregnant animals does not significantly differ from those in nonpregnant animals, the mass of the iliac and renal nodes increases with pregnancy. Maximal increase of the iliac and renal lymph nodes mass coincides with completion of the alantoic placenta formation. It is probable that there is a positive correlative dependence between the number of embryos in the uterus and the mass both of the iliac and renal lymph nodes.  相似文献

The structure and cytoarchitectonics of mesenterial lymph nodes were studied in thin histological sections by different methods. Under study were 5 rhesus monkeys and 3 hamadryas baboons. The square surface of different structural elements of the nodes (the cortical and medullary substances, follicles, the connective tissue framework, sinuses) occupied by them in sections was calculated and the amount of cellular elements was determined (%). Comparison of the data obtained in rhesus monkeys and baboons speaks of certain species-specific features of the organs under study. The morphological picture of lymph node sections in baboons (as compared with rhesus monkeys) might suggest earlier ageing of nodes in baboons.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To determine whether transdiaphragmatic transport in hamsters is similar to that described in other animals by examining transport of an intraperitoneally administered marker. METHODS: Monastral blue B suspension was administered intraperitoneally to 28 male Syrian hamsters (Mesocricetus auratus). Four hamsters each were euthanized 7, 15, and 30 min, and 1, 2, 3, and 24 h later. Specimens were examined microscopically for presence of marker. RESULTS: Marker was present in intrathoracic lymphatic vessels and cranial and caudal mediastinal lymph nodes by 7 min after its administration. The amount of marker in lymph nodes increased with time. The subcapsular distribution of marker was consistent with lymphatic transport. By 1 h after its administration, marker was present in the liver, spleen, bone marrow, and mesenteric and mandibular lymph nodes. Patterns of marker distribution in these tissues were consistent with hematogenous transport, but the amount of marker was considerably less than that in the intrathoracic lymph nodes at corresponding times. CONCLUSIONS: Particulates were most likely translocated from the hamster peritoneal cavity to intrathoracic lymph nodes via transdiaphragmatic lymphatic vessels. A portion of the translocated particulates entered the blood, where they were distributed to a variety of tissues within a short time.  相似文献

In 30 corpses of newborns and children up to 3 years of age, by means of the intratissue and direct injection of the modified Gerota's mass, certain increase in number and size of the superficial inguinal lymph vessels belonging to the superior-medial group, as well as the pararectal and superior rectal lymph nodes has been noted. The diameter of both afferent and efferent lymphatic vessels in the nodes mentioned in children of 1-3 years of age is greater than in the newborns. The number of the afferent vessels running towards these nodes in most cases, regardless the age, prevail over the efferent ones, and the diameter of the latter is greater than in the afferent vessels. The pararectal lymph nodes in 80% of cases are the nodes of the first step for the lymph flowing from the rectum, in 15% - the nodes of the first and second steps, simultaneously, and in 5% - of the third and fourth steps. The superior pararectal lymph nodes in 80% of cases are the nodes of the third and fourth steps, and in 20% of cases - those of the first and second steps for the lymph flowing from the rectum.  相似文献
