Besides the formation of the aminotriazine N6-[4-(3-amino-1,2,4-triazin-5-yl)-2,3-dihydroxybutyl]-L-lysine, the reaction of [1-13C]D-glucose with lysine and aminoguanidine leads to the generation of 6-[2-([[amino(imino)methyl]hydrazono]methyl)pyridinium-1-yl]-L-norleucine (14-13C1). The dideoxyosone N6-(2,3-dihydroxy-5,6-dioxohexyl)-L-lysine was shown to be a precursor in the formation of 14-13C1, which proceeds via the reactive carbonyl intermediate 6-(2-formylpyridinium-1-yl)-L-norleucine (13-13C1). In order to study the reactivity of 13-13C1, the model compound 1-butyl-2-formylpyridinium (18) was prepared in a two-step procedure starting from 2-pyridinemethanol. The reaction of the pyridinium-carbaldehyde 18 with L-lysine yielded the Strecker analogous degradation product 2-(aminomethyl)-1-butylpyridinium and another compound, which was shown to be as 1-butyl-2-[(2-oxopiperidin-3-ylidene)methyl]pyridinium. Reaction of 18 with the C-H acidic 4-hydroxy-5-methylfuran-3(2H)-one leads to the formation of the condensation product 1-butyl-2-[hydroxy-(4-hydroxy-5-methyl-3-oxofuran-2(3H)-ylidene)methyl]-pyridinium.  相似文献

Bilirubin and biliverdin were bleached during exposure to the aerobic xanthine oxidase reaction. Enzymic scavenging of O2?, by Superoxide dismutase, inhibited, whereas enzymic scavenging of H2O2, by catalase, did not. Increasing the rate of production of O2? without increasing the turnover rate of xanthine oxidase, by increasing pO2, accelerated the bleaching of the biliverdin. Moreover, a scavenger of OH·, such as benzoate, or an inactivating chelating agent for iron, such as diethylenetriamine pentaacetate or desferrioxamine mesylate, did not inhibit. It follows that O2? can directly attack these tetrapyrroles. Kinetic competition between Superoxide dismutase and bilirubin yielded a value for kbilirubin, O2? = 2.3 × 104 M?1s?1 at pH 8.3 and at 23 °C. A similar experiment for biliverdin yielded a value for kbilirubin, O2? = 7 × 104 M?1s?1.  相似文献

The reactions of potato starch in aqueous suspension with some isocyanates were investigated. In contrast to previously reported results we found that no starch carbamates were formed but only the corresponding urea compounds. These urea compounds were physically bound to the potato starch and could be washed from the starch by several organic solvents.  相似文献

The color reaction of cholesterol with trichloracetic acid and antimony trichloride was examined to elucidate its reaction mechanism. 3,5-Cholestadiene, 3,3'bis(3,5-cholestadiene), 3,3'bis(2,4-cholestadiene), and cholesteryl trichloroacetate were isolated as the reaction products from the colored reaction mixture of cholesterol, and the first three compounds were found to be responsible for the coloration. It was assumed that cholesterol was dehydrated to 3,5-cholestadiene and 2,4-cholestadiene, which were dimerized to 3,3'-bis(3,5-cholestadiene) and 3,3'-bis(2,4-cholestadiene), respectively, and 3,3'-bis(2,4-cholestadiene) was in part converted to 3,3'-bis(3,5-cholestadiene) in trichloroacetic acid and antimony trichloride. The free radicals were detected in the colored solutions of choelsterol, 3,5-cholestadiene, 3,3'-bis(3,5-cholestadiene), and 3,3'-bis(2,4-cholestadiene), and inferred to be the radical cations of the steroids. The radical cation was postulated to be responsible with respect to the mechanism of the coloration. The relationship between the color reagent and the formation of dimeric steroids was described.  相似文献
