采用自行车递增负荷运动试验,对青海西宁地区(海拔2260m)86名13~16岁男女中学生的最大摄氧量,无氧阈以及血氧饱和度等指标进行了测定。结果表明,高原青少年的最大摄氧量较低,而无氧阈则较高。血氧饱和度随负荷增加逐渐降低,在接近极限负荷时迅速下降,提示高原低氧是限制最大运动能力的主要因素。无氧阈较高说明高原青少年组织细胞利用氧的能力提高,这是对高原低氧环境长期适应的结果。  相似文献

本文对以上肢训练为主的15名优秀皮划艇运动员和以下肢训练为主的14名优秀中长跑运动员在两种常规负荷方式下的无氧阈及最大吸氧量进行了测定分析,以探讨训练专一性对无氧阈测定的影响。采用踏车式功量计和活动平板方式逐级递增负荷,通过与Apple Ⅱ_E辅助联机的Jaeger EOS自动分析系统,以通气和气体交换指标的变化,无创性地测定无氧阈和最大吸氧量。结果表明,训练专一性会影响无氧阈测定结果。欲测得最高的无氧阈值,实验室测试手段就应当尽量模拟训练时的运动形式。此外,能敏感地反映出运动训练专一性适应的是无氧阈时的吸氧量绝对值(1/min),而不是无氧阈的相对值(%Vo_2max)。  相似文献

Twelve non-specifically trained volunteers (aged 26.5 years, SD 3.6) performed exhausting incremental graded exercise (ST) and 1-min anaerobic cycle ergometer exercise (AnT) at 2-h intervals for the purpose of investigating beta-endorphin (beta-E) behaviour dependent on exercise intensity and anaerobic metabolism. In order to determine [beta-E], adrenocorticotropic hormone [ACTH], cortisol [C], adrenaline [A] and noradrenaline [NA] concentrations, venous blood samples were collected prior and subsequent to exercise until the 20th min of the recovery period, as well as in ST before and after exceeding the individual anaerobic threshold (THan,i). Before, during and after ST, lactate concentration, heart rate and perceived degree of exertion were also determined; after AnT maximum lactate concentration was measured. Both types of exercise led to significant increases in [beta-E], [ACTH], [A] and [NA], with levels of [beta-E] and [ACTH] approximately twice as high after ST as after AnT. The [C] increased significantly only after ST. During ST significant changes in [beta-E] and [ACTH] were measured only after exceeding THan,i. At all measuring times before and after ST and AnT both hormones correlated positively. In AnT the increases of [beta-E] and [A] demonstrated a correlation (r = 0.65; P less than 0.05). Both in AnT and ST there was a relationship between the maximum concentrations of beta-E and lactate (r = 0.63 and 0.71; each P less than 0.05). We therefore conclude that physical exercise with increasing or mostly anaerobic components leads to an increase in [beta-E], the extent correlating with the degree of lactate concentration.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

Threshold for muscle lactate accumulation during progressive exercise   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between muscle and blood lactate concentrations during progressive exercise. Seven endurance-trained male college students performed three incremental bicycle ergometer exercise tests. The first two tests (tests I and II) were identical and consisted of 3-min stage durations with 2-min rest intervals and increased by 50-W increments until exhaustion. During these tests, blood was sampled from a hyperemized earlobe for lactate and pH measurement (and from an antecubital vein during test I), and the exercise intensities corresponding to the lactate threshold (LT), individual anaerobic threshold (IAT), and onset of blood lactate accumulation (OBLA) were determined. The test III was performed at predetermined work loads (50 W below OBLA, at OBLA, and 50 W above OBLA), with the same stage and rest interval durations of tests I and II. Muscle biopsies for lactate and pH determination were taken at rest and immediately after the completion of the three exercise intensities. Blood samples were drawn simultaneously with each biopsy. Muscle lactate concentrations increased abruptly at exercise intensities greater than the "below-OBLA" stage [50.5% maximal O2 uptake (VO2 max)] and resembled a threshold. An increase in blood lactate and [H+] also occurred at the below-OBLA stage; however, no significant change in muscle [H+] was observed. Muscle lactate concentrations were highly correlated to blood lactate (r = 0.91), and muscle-to-blood lactate ratios at below-OBLA, at-OBLA, and above-OBLA stages were 0.74, 0.63, 0.96, and 0.95, respectively.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

To determine the effect of the duration of incremental exercise on the point at which arterial blood lactate concentration (HLa) increases above the resting value (anaerobic threshold: AT) and on the point at which HLa reaches a constant value of 4 mM (onset of blood lactate accumulation: OBLA), eight male students performed two different kinds of incremental exercise. A comparison of arterial HLa and venous HLa was made under both conditions of incremental exercise. The incremental bicycle exercise tests consisted of 25 W increase every minute (1-min test) and every 4 min (4-min test). At maximal exercise, there were no significant differences in either gas exchange parameters or HLa values for the two kinds of incremental exercise. However, the peak workloads attained during the two exercises were significantly different (P less than 0.01). At OBLA and AT, there were no significant differences in gas exchange parameters during the 1-min and 4-min tests except for the workload (at OBLA P less than 0.01; at AT P less than 0.05). When venous blood HLa was used instead of arterial HLa for a 4-min test, AT was not significantly different from that obtained by arterial HLa, but OBLA was significantly different from that obtained by arterial HLa (P less than 0.05). On the other hand, for the 1-min test, venous HLa values yielded significantly higher AT and OBLA compared with those obtained using arterial HLa (P less than 0.01). Seven men were studied during maximal cycle ergometer exercise, to assess the effects of a single or continuous caffeine ingestion on performance and catecholamine secretion. A single blind and randomised procedure was followed with three trials at 100 +/- 5% VO2 max until exhaustion. The first trial was performed after a single administration of 250 mg of caffeine (a). The second and third trials were performed after a treatment of 5 days with 250 mg caffeine per day (continuous = c) and after placebo (p). a and c caffeine administration, 60 min prior to exercise, did not significantly change the time to exhaustion, but increased the plasma levels of both epinephrine (E) and norepinephrine (NE) at exhaustion (p less than 0.05). Single ingestion of caffeine accelerated the elimination of E and NE and increased the maximal blood lactic acid. These data suggest that both single and continuous administration of caffeine do not enhance performance during maximal cycle ergometer exercise, but do increase the exercise response of catecholamine. Only a single administration modifies the blood lactate accumulation.  相似文献

Venous lactate concentration and ventilatory responses to progressively increased work rates were studied in 16 men who performed an incremental exercise test to exhaustion on an electrically braked cycle ergometer. In this test the characteristic curvilinear increase in venous lactate concentrations was observed. In addition to the anaerobic threshold (AT), a second breakpoint was observed and named the lactate turnpoint (LTP). Eight of the 16 subjects performed a second incremental exercise test initiated during lactic acidosis. In this test the direction of change in venous lactate concentrations was different. The work rate at which lactate concentrations again increased, after a steady decline (previously described as the AT2), was similar to the work rate established for the LTP in the first test. In the second test removal of lactate was demonstrated at work rates exceeding the AT. Although the lactate response to the two tests was different the pattern of change was similar, with the two breakpoints occurring at the same work rates. Collectively these results lend a measure of support to the hypothesis of a positive relationship between the AT, LTP, and a pattern of recruitment of motor units with different enzyme profiles. Both the AT and LTP were predictable from the ventilatory response to incremental exercise.  相似文献

A group of 27 canoeists from the national team and 35 subjects beginning training in a sports discipline were subjected to investigations for determination of glucose utilization by erythrocytes, and the level of lactic acid in these cells and in serum. Furthermore, erythrocyte count and haematocrit value were determined in them. Both groups performed submaximal and maximal work on cycle ergometer. In the trained sportsmen the erythrocyte count and haematocrit value were higher already before exercise. During the exercise the increase in these values, as well as the rise in erythrocyte and serum lactic acid levels were again greater than in untrained freshmen. This difference was caused by the fact that the trained sportsmen performed twice as much work. Glucose utilization by erythrocytes (in vitro) was greatest after maximal exercise in both groups. The differences observed between both groups became manifest during exercise with a greater rise in glucose utilization by the erythrocytes obtained from the trained group. Fifteen minutes after the exercise this utilization fell in both groups below the value obtained before exercise. During the same time erythrocyte count and haematocrit returned to their initial levels.  相似文献

beta-Endorphin (beta-EP), adrenocorticotropin (ACTH), and cortisol plasma concentrations were examined before and after maximal exercise at four intensities [36, 55, 73, and 100% of maximal leg power (MLP)] by means of a computerized cycle ergometer. All intensities were greater than those eliciting peak O2 uptake for the individual subjects. Blood samples were collected at rest, immediately after exercise, and at 5 and 15 min postexercise. Significant (P less than 0.05) increases were observed at 36% MLP for beta-EP and ACTH immediately after exercise and at 5 and 15 min postexercise. Plasma cortisol increased at 36% MLP at 15 min postexercise. Blood lactate significantly increased at all postexercise collection points for exercise intensities of 36, 55, and 73% MLP and at 5 min postexercise for 100% MLP. beta-EP concentrations at 36% MLP were significantly correlated (r = 0.75) with capillary density (mm-2), and cortisol concentrations at 36% MLP were significantly correlated (r = 0.89) with percentage of type II muscle fibers. No other significant relationships were observed. These data show that brief, high-intensity exercise up to maximal power production results in a nonlinear response pattern in peripheral blood hormone concentrations. Furthermore, blood lactate levels do not appear to be related to hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal hormone plasma concentrations at high exercise intensities.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to elucidate the difference in peak blood ammonia concentration between sprinters and long-distance runners in submaximal, maximal and supramaximal exercise. Five sprinters and six long-distance runners performed cycle ergometer exercise at 50% maximal, 75% maximal, maximal and supramaximal heart rates. Blood ammonia and lactate were measured at 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10 and 12.5 min after each exercise. Peak blood ammonia concentration at an exercise intensity producing 50% maximal heart rate was found to be significantly higher compared to the basal level in sprinters (P less than 0.01) and in long-distance runners (P less than 0.01). The peak blood ammonia concentration of sprinters was greater in supra-maximal exercise than in maximal exercise (P less than 0.05), while there was no significant difference in long-distance runners. The peak blood ammonia content after supramaximal exercise was higher in sprinters compared with long-distance runners (P less than 0.01). There was a significant relationship between peak blood ammonia and lactate after exercise in sprinters and in long-distance runners. These results suggest that peak blood ammonia concentration after supramaximal exercise may be increased by the recruitment of fast-twitch muscle fibres and/or by anaerobic training, and that the processes of blood ammonia and lactate production during exercise may be strongly linked in sprinters and long-distance runners.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between anaerobic threshold (Th(an)) and muscle fatigue threshold (EMGFT) as estimated from electromyographic (EMG) data taken from the quadriceps muscles (vastus lateralis) during exercise on a cycle ergometer. The subjects in this study were 20 female college students, including highly trained endurance athletes and untrained sedentary individuals, whose fitness levels derived from their maximal oxygen consumption ranged from 24.9 to 62.2 ml.kg-1.min-1. The rate of increase in integrated EMG (iEMG) activity as a function of time (iEMG slope) was calculated at each of four constant power outputs (350, 300, 250, 200 W), sufficiently high to bring about muscle fatigue. The iEMG slopes so obtained were plotted against the exercise intensities imposed, resulting in linear plots which were extrapolated to zero slope to give an intercept on the power axis which was in turn interpreted as the highest exercise intensity sustainable without electromyographic evidence of neuromuscular fatigue (EMGFT). The Th(an) was estimated from gas exchange parameters during an incremental exercise test on the same cycle ergometer. The mean results indicated that oxygen uptake (VO2) at Than was 1.39 l.min-1, SD 0.44 and VO2 at EMGFT was 1.33 l.min-1, SD 0.57. Changes in the kinetics of aerobic and anaerobic metabolism were studied in 26 highly profiled athletes performing bicycle ergometer exercise. The different intensity exercise sessions included those with a critical intensity corresponding to the maximum oxygen consumption up to value of the maximum anaerobic intensity of about 10 MMR units. The maximal aerobic metabolism was maintained in the exercises with a relative intensity of 1.0 to 2.5 MMR units. At the higher values of the exercise relative intensity, the oxygen current consumption exponentially decreased. An increase in the rate of anaerobic glycolytic energy production, which was first recorded at the threshold of anaerobic metabolism (W AT = 0.5 MMR units), increased linearly with a further increase in the exercise relative intensity up to the level of the exhaustion intensity (W ex = 4.7 MMR units). A sharp increase in the rate of an alactic anaerobic process was found at the relative intensity values of 2.5 MMR units, and this increase grew linearly up to values of the maximal anaerobic intensity (W max = 9.5 MMR units).  相似文献

Blood lactate production and recovery from anaerobic exercise were investigated in 19 trained (AG) and 6 untrained (CG) prepubescent boys. The exercises comprised 3 maximal test performances; 2 bicycle ergometer tests of different durations (15 s and 60 s), and running on a treadmill for 23.20 +/- 2.61 min to measure maximal oxygen uptake. Blood samples were taken from the fingertip to determine lactate concentrations and from the antecubital vein to determine serum testosterone. Muscle biopsies were obtained from vastus lateralis. Recovery was passive (seated) following the 60 s test but that following the treadmill run was initially active (10 min), and then passive. Peak blood lactate was highest following the 60 s test (AG, 13.1 +/- 2.6 mmol.1-1 and CG, 12.8 +/- 2.3 mmol.1-1). Following the 15 s test and the treadmill run, peak lactate values were 68.7 and 60.6% of the 60 s value respectively. Blood lactate production was greater (p less than 0.001) during the 15 s test (0.470 +/- 0.128 mmol.1-1.s-1) than during the 60 s test (0.184 +/- 0.042 mmol.1-1.s-1). Although blood lactate production was only nonsignificantly greater in AG, the amount of anaerobic work in the short tests was markedly greater (p less than 0.05-0.01) in AG than CG. Muscle fibre area (type II%) and serum testosterone were positively correlated (p less than 0.05) with blood lactate production in both short tests. To evaluate the effect of isotonic exercise on the response to angiotensin II, angiotensin II in saline solution was infused intravenously (7.5 ng X kg-1 X min-1) in seven normal sodium replete male volunteers before, during and after a graded uninterrupted exercise test on the bicycle ergometer until exhaustion. The subjects performed a similar exercise test on another day under randomized conditions when saline solution only was infused. At rest in recumbency angiotensin II infusion increased plasma angiotensin II from 17 to 162 pg X ml-1 (P less than 0.001). When the tests with and without angiotensin II are compared, the difference in plasma angiotensin II throughout the experiment ranged from 86 to 145 pg X ml-1. The difference in mean intra-arterial pressure averaged 17 mmHg at recumbent rest, 12 mmHg in the sitting position, 9 mmHg at 10% of peak work rate and declined progressively throughout the exercise test to become non-significant at the higher levels of activity. Plasma renin activity rose with increasing levels of activity but angiotensin II significantly reduced the increase. Plasma aldosterone, only measured at rest and at peak exercise, was higher during angiotensin II infusion; the difference in plasma aldosterone was significant at rest, but not at peak exercise. When moderate exercise begins, O2 uptake (VO2) reaches a steady state within 3 min. However, with heavy exercise, VO2 continues to rise beyond 3 min (VO2 drift). We sought to identify factors contributing to VO2 drift. Ten young subjects performed cycle ergometer tests of 15 min duration for each of four constant work rates, corresponding to 90% of the anaerobic threshold (AT) and 25, 50, and 75% of the difference between maximum VO2 (VO2 max) and AT for that subject. Time courses of VO2, minute ventilation (VE), and rectal temperature were recorded. Blood lactate, norepinephrine, and epinephrine were measured at the end of exercise. Eight weeks of cycle ergometer endurance training improved average VO2 max by 15%. Subjects then performed four tests identical to pretraining studies. For the above AT tests, training reduced VO2 drift substantially; reduction in each of the possible mediators we measured was also demonstrated. The training-induced decrease in VO2 drift was well correlated with decreases in end exercise lactate and less well correlated with the drift in VE seen at above AT work rates. The training-induced reduction in VO2 drift was not significantly correlated with attenuation of rectal temperature rise or decrease in end-exercise level of the catecholamines. Thus the slow rise in VO2 during heavy exercise seems linked to lactate, though a component dictated by the work of breathing cannot be ruled out.  相似文献

We attempted to determine the change in total excess volume of CO2 output (CO2 excess) due to bicarbonate buffering of lactic acid produced in exercise due to endurance training for approximately 2 months and to assess the relationship between the changes of CO2 excess and distance-running performance. Six male endurance runners, aged 19-22 years, were subjects. Maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max), oxygen uptake (VO2) at anaerobic threshold (AT), CO2 excess and blood lactate concentration were measured during incremental exercise on a cycle ergometer and 12-min exhausting running performance (12-min ERP) was also measured on the track before and after endurance training. The absolute magnitudes in the improvement due to training for CO2 excess per unit of body mass per unit of blood lactate accumulation (delta la-) in exercise (CO2 excess.mass-1.delta la-), 12-min ERP, VO2 at AT (AT-VO2) and VO2max on average were 0.8 ml.kg-1.l-1.mmol-1, 97.8 m, 4.4 ml.kg-1. min-1 and 7.3 ml.kg-1.min-1, respectively. The percentage change in CO2 excess.mass-1.delta la- (15.7%) was almost same as those of VO2max (13.7%) and AT-VO2 (13.2%). During incremental exercise, the left ventricular ejection fraction increases up to the intensity of the anaerobic threshold and tends to level off at higher exercise intensities. Since there is a correlation between the response of peak filling rate and ejection fraction to exercise, this study was conducted to determine whether the response of left ventricular diastolic function is similar to the response of systolic function relative to lactate threshold. Twelve healthy men performed two exercise tests on a cycle ergometer. In the first test, lactate threshold and maximal power output were determined. In the second exercise test, gated radionuclide ventriculography was performed at rest, at the lactate threshold intensity, and at peak exercise to measure ejection fraction and peak filling rate. Ejection fraction increased significantly from rest [mean (SD): 62 (5)%] to lactate threshold [76 (7) %] and did not change significantly from lactate threshold to peak exercise [77 (7)%]. Likewise, peak filling rate (normalized for stroke counts) increased from resting [6.1 (0.9)V s · s–1] to lactate threshold [9.4 (1.8)V s · s–1] and did not change significantly from lactate threshold to peak exercise [9.6 (2.9)V s · s–1]. There was no correlation between the change in peak filling rate and the change in ejection fraction from rest to lactate threshold. Thus, during incremental exercise, left ventricular diastolic function responds qualitatively similar to systolic function.  相似文献

The immunologic patterns of 3 human pituitary adenomas of Cushing's disease have been studied after gel exclusion chromatography (Sephadex G-50). The immunologic characteristics were examined with three radioimmunoassays specific for human corticotropin (ACTH), lipotropin (LPH) and beta-endorphin (beta-End). In cell tumor extracts, chromatographic peaks corresponding to beta-LPH, gamma-LPH, beta-End and ACTH were identified. The ACTH/beta-LP-beta-End ratio was 1 in the 3 cases. Additionally, in the 3 cases, a chromatographic peak, partially cross-reacting in the beta-End assay, was eluted after beta-End, thus suggesting the presence of a fragment of the molecule. In 1 case, a peak of large molecular weight material with N- and C-terminal beta-LPH and ACTH immunoreactivity was observed, which corresponded to the precursor material. The release and the effects of various stimuli were studied on dispersed tumor cells in primary culture. The tumor cells had a biphasic basal secretion rate with a rapid increase of ACTH/beta-LPH-beta-End in the culture medium during the first 2 h. Then the release, studied during 2 days, was slower. Chromatographic studies showed that the beta-LPH/beta-End ratio was 0.8 in the cells and 0.3 in the medium, due essentially to the release of beta-End and beta-End-like materials. The cells released ACTH and beta-LPH-beta-End in equimolar ratio after stimulation with arginine vasopressin (AVP). The maximum effect was obtained with 10(-6) M AVP (D50 = 1 10(-9) M). Dibutyryl cyclic AMP (2. 10(-3) M) induced maximal release of ACTH/beta-LPH-beta-End. This stimulation was suppressed by a 48-hour preincubation with dexamethasone (10(-8)-10(-6) M). There was no effect of TRH and LH-RH on cell release. Dopamine (10(-6) M) specifically blocked the release of ACTH/beta-LPH-beta-End in 1 case. These data showed (a) heterogeneity of chromatographic profiles from case to case; (b) the presence of material in the tumor, cell extracts and culture medium corresponding to fragment(s) of beta-End; (c) culture studies demonstrated that tumor cells remain responsive to AVP stimulation and dexamethasone suppression, and (d) the dopamine inhibition of ACTH and beta-End release needs further investigation.  相似文献

In trained subjects, circulating PRL and GH increase significantly after a 20 minutes exercise on ergometer bicycle performed either at submaximal or maximal intensity. The magnitude of PRL response appeared to be similar for both kinds of exercise, but the increase in GH level is higher after maximal exercise than after submaximal one.  相似文献
