Sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax L.) were injected intraperitoneally with monovalent (Photobacterium damselae subsp. piscicida or Vibrio anguillarum) and divalent (Ph. damselae subsp. piscicida and V. anguillarum) vaccine formulations, with or without adjuvants (mineral oil, liposome or alginate), to evaluate the short and long-term pathological effects. Eight animals from each group were sampled one, two, four and 11 months after intraperitoneal injection. The acute peritoneal response and the progression to a chronic status were evaluated by analysing peritoneal leucocytes collected during the first days post-injection. To evaluate the chronic response, the late peritoneal leucocyte response was analysed and the peritoneal cavity was examined and the intra-abdominal lesion level scored based on a pre-defined scale. Correlation between leucocyte exudative response, tissue inflammatory response and the development of granuloma were sought. The acute leucocyte response was characterized by an early (24-48 h) mobilization of neutrophils and macrophages, with phagocyte numbers dependent on the formulation, but no significant variations were observed in lymphocytes/small cells and EGCs. Later on, a steady increase occurred in lymphocytes/small cells and EGCs and a high concentration in neutrophils and macrophages was maintained up to 30-60 days in groups i.p. injected with oil adjuvanted formulations with antigen. All the lesions observed were moderate, indicating that in sea bass, the pathological effects due to intraperitoneally injected vaccines are less severe than in other fish species. The divalent oil adjuvanted vaccine induced the most severe side effects, with macroscopic granulomas consistently present up to 11 months.  相似文献

Synthesis of platelet activating factor (PAF) in blood platelet suspensions may be due to leucocyte contamination. We therefore investigated PAF synthesis in human blood platelet suspensions and granulocyte- (PMN)-enriched leucocyte suspensions upon stimulation by thrombin and Ca2+-ionophore A23187, both in the presence and absence of the presumed PAF catabolism inhibitor phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride (PMSF). PAF synthesis was measured by aggregation of washed rabbit platelets and by [3H]acetate incorporation. In contrast to A23187, thrombin was unable to stimulate PAF synthesis by leucocytes. As thrombin did induce PAF synthesis by platelet suspensions, this was evidently not due to leucocyte contamination. A23187 also induced PAF synthesis by platelets, but this was dependent upon the platelet isolation method and possibly associated activation. The ratio of [3H]acetate incorporation into 1-alkyl- versus 1-acyl-2-acetylglycerophosphocholine upon stimulation of non-PMSF-treated leucocytes and platelets amounted to 12.8 and 1.2, respectively. These values are at least 10-fold higher than the ratio of 1-alkyl versus 1-acyl species in the cellular phosphatidylcholine precursor for PAF. By PMSF pretreatment, the distribution of incorporated [3H]acetate between 1-ether- and 1-ester-linked species became similar to that in the precursor phosphatidylcholines of the respective cell type, due to increased recovery of [3H]acetate in the acyl compounds. Both leucocyte and platelet homogenates rapidly degraded acylacetylglycerophosphocholine to (acetyl)glycerophosphocholine, and this deacylation was inhibited by PMSF pretreatment of the cells. We conclude that upon cell stimulation a phospholipase A2 converts both alkylacylglycerophosphocholine and diacylglycerophosphocholine to the 2-lysoanalogs in a ratio similar to the occurrence of the parent compounds. The acetyltransferase subsequently acetylates both compounds to acylacetylglycerophosphocholine and alkylacetylglycerophosphocholine (PAF), respectively. Deacylation of the 1-ester-linked species, either before or after acetylation, gives the impression of selective utilization of 1-ether-linked species for PAF production. It is only after inhibition of the deacylation by pretreatment of the cells with PMSF that a mainly nondiscriminative use of 1-ether- and 1-ester-linked species by both phospholipase A2 and acetyltransferase becomes evident.  相似文献

In order to identify the phagocytic cells of sea bass, the peritoneal leucocyte population of fish injected intraperitoneally with Photobacterium damselae subspecies piscicida was studied by light microscopy using cytocentrifuge preparations stained by the Antonow technique for peroxidase detection. Among the leucocytes present in the peritoneal exudate of the infected fish (macrophages, neutrophils, eosinophilic granular cells, lymphocytes and thrombocytes), macrophages and neutrophils were the only phagocytic cells. Neutrophils were easily distinguished from macrophages in Antonow stained preparations by the pattern of peroxidase positivity. Using ultrastructural cytochemistry, neutrophils were found to have abundant cytoplasmic granules positive for peroxidase and arylsulphatase and were negative for alpha-naphthyl butyrate (ANB) esterase. In contrast, ANB esterase activity was detected in macrophages. These leucocytes were typically negative for peroxidase, but ocasionally, some macrophages with peroxidase or arylsulphatase-positive vacuoles were observed. Both phagocytes had cytoplasmic granules positive for acid phosphatase. Glycogen particles were found in the cytoplasm of the two phagocytic cells, but they were much more abundant in neutrophils. Macrophages were much more abundant than neutrophils in the peritoneal cavity of non-injected sea bass but early after the intraperitoneal injection of bacteria, the number of neutrophils increased quickly and extensively. Higher numbers of intraperitoneally injected bacteria were found inside macrophages as compared to neutrophils because macrophages strongly predominated in the peritoneal population at the time of injection. However, when the bacteria were injected into peritoneal cavities with high numbers of neutrophils (attracted by a previous injection of 12% casein), the percentage of neutrophils with phagocytosed bacteria increased, approaching that of infected macrophages. Taken together, these results show that in sea bass, as in many other organisms, in addition to macrophages, neutrophils are important phagocytic cells, the relative participation of each of the two phagocytes in defense mechanisms against infection depending on the opportunity to encounter the invading infectious agents.  相似文献

Platelet activating factor (PAF; 10 micrograms) was injected in the peritoneal cavity of rats in the absence or presence of the PAF antagonist BN-52021 (5 mg/kg). Thirty min later, the peritoneal cavity was washed with 3 ml of saline, the fluid was collected and the concentrations of selected eicosanoids were measured using novel enzyme immunoassays. PAF increased by 2.9, 2.8 and 1.7 fold the levels of thromboxane B2, prostaglandin E2 and leukotriene B4 respectively in the peritoneal fluid. The stimulatory effects of PAF was reduced by 42, 51, and 86% for thromboxane B2, prostaglandin E2 and leukotriene B4 respectively by the specific PAF antagonist. These results confirm the presence of specific PAF receptors in tissues and/or cells of rat peritoneal cavity and underline the complex interactions between PAF and eicosanoids.  相似文献

Acute peritonitis induced in the goldfish by intraperitoneal injection of a sterile Thioglycollate solution shows a typical pattern with intraperitoneal exudation of serum proteins followed by influx of leucocytes (mainly heterophils/macrophages) correlated with elevated levels of chemotactic factors in peritoneal fluid and blood plasma. Supplementation of Thioglycollate with morphine (20 mg kg(-1) b.w.) does not affect the leakage of serum proteins into peritoneum. In contrast, it reduces the number of exudate peritoneal leucocytes (among them heterophils/macrophages) to the control level and decreases the level of peritoneal fluid/plasma chemoattractants, both effects being reversed by naltrexone pretreatment. Morphine itself acts as a chemokinetic factor for fish leucocytes as it increases their random movements. Therefore inhibitory effects of morphine on accumulation of exudate cells might be explained by inhibition of the production/release of chemotactic factors and/or reduced sensitivity of leucocytes to chemotactic signals. The effects of morphine on the goldfish peritonitis are in concordance with those described recently in Atlantic salmon and CB6 mice.  相似文献

Histological studies on plaice tissues revealed mononuclear phagocytes emigrating through capillary endothelium in response to bloodborne foreign erythrocytes, with a >50% increase in circulating leucocytes within 2 h. Despite this rapid influx of leucocytes, cellular accumulation during peritoneal inflammatory responses was significantly slower than in mammals. In vitro studies with chemotaxis chambers revealed that random leucocyte migration was enhanced in the presence of endogenous chemostimulatory substances (inflammatory exudate fluid and endotoxin-activated plaice serum) although directional migration was not demonstrated. It is suggested that, compared with mammals, the slower accumulation of teleostean leucocytes at sites of injury is not due to a locomotory defect but possibly results from lower levels of endogenous chemoattractants being generated.  相似文献

Colloidal carbon was injected i.v. in mature virgin rabbits at different times after induction of ovulation by human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG, 100 iu) or mating. Before induction of ovulation, slight carbon leakage was observed in the inner vascular ring of the theca interna of antral follicles, but blood vessels in the other ovarian compartments were unstained. Between 4 and 10.5 h after hCG-treatment or mating, vascular leakage was most marked in the blood vessels of the interstitial gland and in the theca interna of antral follicles. Just before ovulation, carbon particles were observed between granulosa cells and some carbon was seeping into the follicular fluid of preruptured follicles. Vascular leakage was also observed over the follicle dome before rupture as well as at the dorsomedial junction between the mesovarium and the ovary. The blood vessels stained with carbon were 7-70 microns diameter, representing capillaries and postcapillary venules. About 6 h after hCG injection, an increased number of polymorphonuclear leucocytes migrated from the vessels of these ovarian compartments into the surrounding interstitial tissue. The number of leucocytes seen in the follicular wall and ovarian medulla increased markedly towards ovulation. During early corpus luteum formation, the number of leucocytes decreased markedly. The localized vascular changes seen after mating and hCG stimulation were similar to an inflammatory reaction and could form the basis for the formation of peritoneal exudate after ovulation in rabbits and periovulatory ascitic accumulation seen in the peritoneal cavity of women during the menstrual cycle.  相似文献

A passive Arthus reaction (AR) induced in the peritoneal cavity of mice was followed by increased local vascular permeability and haemoconcentration. The intensity of the increased vasopermeability was higher in BALB/c compared with C3H/HePas mice despite the latter being 10 times more sensitive to platelet-activating factor (PAF). C3H/HePas mice however, exhibited higher levels of haemoconcentration and shock-like symptoms. Both events were inhibited by the PAF antagonist, WEB 2170. Indomethacin reduced both pathological events whereas L663,536, that inhibits leukotrienes synthesis reduced haemoconcentration but only in BALB/c mice. PAF was released into the peritoneal cavity, peak release being at 10 min after induction of AR. Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), thromboxane B2 (TXB2), leukotriene B4 (LTB4), and leukotriene C4/D4 (LTC4/D4) were also released at this time. Similar levels of PAF and eicosanoids were found in BALB/c and C3H/HePas mice except for LTB4, which was higher in C3H/HePas. It is concluded that PAF and eicosanoids are mediators of local and systemic changes induced by immune complexes in the peritoneal cavity of mice.  相似文献

In this study we have determined the role of endogenous interleukin (IL)-10 on leucocyte recruitment and production of the CC chemokine macrophage inflammatory protein-1alpha (MIP-1alpha) in a murine model of acute inflammation. Intraperitoneal injection of zymosan produced a dose-dependent cellular infiltration which was concomitant with MIP-1alpha release in the lavage fluids. Release of this chemokine had a functional role since treatment of mice with a specific anti-MIP-1alpha antibody reduced both neutrophil and monocyte accumulation into the peritoneal cavity. An unexpected increase in cell influx and MIP-1alpha production was measured following depletion of resident peritoneal macrophages, as achieved by a 3-day liposome treatment. A similar result was obtained when the zymosan peritonitis response was elicited in IL-10 knock-out mice. In summary we propose a functional cross talk between endogenous IL-10 and this CC chemokine during the host inflammatory response.  相似文献

To explore the pathways by which lectins induce an inflammatory response, the lectin from Vatairea macrocarpa (VML) seeds was used to induce neutrophil migration in rats. The lectin was shown to cause cell migration, with the effect partially blocked when galactose was added to inhibit lectin activity. Neutrophil migration was also reduced when peritoneal cavity of the animals was depleted of their resident cells beforehand, suggesting that neutrophil migration was mediated by an indirect mechanism. Pre-treatment of rats with thioglycollate increased recruitment of neutrophils while depletion of mast cells by the addition of compound 48/80 had little effect on neutrophil infiltration, suggesting the involvement of macrophages in the inflammatory process induced by the lectin. Inhibition of the cyclooxigenase, leukotriene and PAF activities by indomethacin, MK886 and BN50730, respectively, did not modify the pro-inflammatory effect previously observed. However, dexamethasone and thalidomide significantly reduced the population of neutrophils in the peritoneal cavity after lectin injection. The present study suggests that the effects produced by a galactose-binding lectin do not involve lipoxygenase, cyclooxygenase or PAF mediators that are well known to be involved in the inflammatory process. The blocking actions of dexamethasone and thalidimide suggest that as yet unidentified pro-inflammatory mediators are involved.  相似文献

Proteinase-activated receptor 2 (PAR2) has been suggested to play a role in inflammatory reactions. Because leukocyte-endothelial cell interactions are critical events during inflammatory reactions, and because PAR2 is expressed both on endothelium and leukocytes, we have examined the effects of PAR2-activating peptides (PAR2-APs) on leukocyte rolling and adhesion in mesenteric venules and on leukocyte recruitment into the peritoneal cavity. Using intravital microscopy, leukocyte rolling, flux, and adhesion in rat mesenteric postcapillary venules were quantified. Topical addition of PAR2-APs (10 microM) for 1 min to the superfused venule induced a significant increase in leukocyte rolling and adherence. The increase in leukocyte adherence was not affected by pretreatment with a mast cell stabilizer (sodium cromoglycate) nor by prior degranulation of mast cells with compound 48/80. Nonetheless, both leukocyte rolling and adhesion were completely inhibited by pretreatment with a platelet-activating factor receptor antagonist (WEB 2086). Intraperitoneal injections of a selective PAR2-AP (SLIGRL-NH2) caused a significant increase in leukocyte migration into the peritoneal cavity. The effect of SLIGRL-NH2 on peritoneal leukocyte infiltration was completely inhibited by WEB 2086. These data suggest that PAR2 activation could contribute to several early events in the inflammatory reaction, including leukocyte rolling, adherence, and recruitment, by a mechanism dependent on platelet-activating factor release.  相似文献

The early innate immune response of the teleost gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata L.) against xenogeneic cells was studied. Fish received a single intraperitoneal injection of xenogeneic cells (tumour cell line), following which leucocyte mobilization, degranulation, peroxidase content, respiratory burst and phagocytic and cytotoxic activities were determined in both peritoneal exudate leucocytes (PELs) and head-kidney leucocytes (HKLs). The total number of PELs increased from 4 h post-injection until the end of the experiment (3 days). Interestingly, flow cytometric analysis of PEL and HKL suspensions revealed variations in the proportion of cell types. The percentage of HK acidophilic granulocytes significantly increased after 72 h, whereas PE acidophils increased after 4 h. Moreover, numbers of PE lymphocytes and monocyte-macrophages significantly increased during the experiment. The peroxidase content of the leucocytes was unaffected, although PEL degranulation was largely enhanced. This liberation of peroxidases correlated well with the enhancement of the oxidative respiratory burst activity in PELs, reflecting leucocyte activation. However, phagocytosis only increased in PELs 4 h after intraperitoneal injection, whereas the cytotoxic activity of HKLs increased 1 and 2 days post-injection but, in general, decreased in the PELs. Our data thus demonstrate that the appearance of xenogeneic cells involves leucocyte mobilization and innate immune-response activation at the site of invasion and in the head-kidney. Minced polyester threads introduced into peritoneal cavity of guinea pigs or rats cause a granulomatous inflammation with evidence of macrophage stimulation. Chemotactic agents play an important role in the inflammatory reaction; they may be exogenous and/or endogenous. These are released locally by the cells involved in inflammation. In this paper the chemotactic effects of the peritoneal fluids from rats bearing the polyester inflammatory process, have been studied on PMN cells "in vitro". The peritoneal cavity fluids were obtained by washing the cavity of untreated rats or rats intraperitoneally injected with polyester, 1, 3, 7, 14 days after the intraperitoneal injection. The chemotactic response was assayed by employing modified chemotaxis Boyden chambers (Blind Well Neuro Probe) and polymorphonuclear leukocytes from normal or treated rats. Quantification of the migration was calculated by chemotactic index (A/B) (B = random migration, A = chemotaxis). The results demonstrated that the peritoneal fluids taken 3 and 7 days after the intraperitoneal polyester injection, elicit an evident chemotaxis response greater than that showed by peritoneal fluids from control rats. It is suggested that chemotactic factors can be produced and released by mononuclear cells involved in the inflammatory process.  相似文献

Leucocyte infiltration into human liver tissue is a common process in all adult inflammatory liver diseases. Chronic infiltration can drive the development of fibrosis and progression to cirrhosis. Understanding the molecular mechanisms that mediate leucocyte recruitment to the liver could identify important therapeutic targets for liver disease. The key interaction during leucocyte recruitment is that of inflammatory cells with endothelium under conditions of shear stress. Recruitment to the liver occurs within the low shear channels of the hepatic sinusoids which are lined by hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cells (HSEC). The conditions within the hepatic sinusoids can be recapitulated by perfusing leucocytes through channels lined by human HSEC monolayers at specific flow rates. In these conditions leucocytes undergo a brief tethering step followed by activation and firm adhesion, followed by a crawling step and subsequent transmigration across the endothelial layer. Using phase contrast microscopy, each step of this ''adhesion cascade'' can be visualized and recorded followed by offline analysis. Endothelial cells or leucocytes can be pretreated with inhibitors to determine the role of specific molecules during this process.  相似文献

Phagocytosis experiments were performed with mouse peritoneal leucocytes (MPL). The natural pH of the mouse peritoneal cavity was found to be between 6.1 and 6.3. The phagocytic and intracellular killing activities of MPL by pH variations was studied. It was observed that the optimal ingestion and intracellular killing of bacteria is at the natural pH of the peritoneal cavity.  相似文献

Summary When Lactobacillus casei YIT 9018 (LC 9018) or Corynebacterium parvum, known to be immunomodulators possessing antitumor activity, were injected i.p. into BALB/c mice, peritoneal exudate macrophage Ia antigen detected by indirect immunofluorescence method was expressed on their cell surface, but it was not expressed following the injection of 10% proteose peptone, an inflammatory agent, or Lactobacillus fermentum YIT 0159 (LF 0159), which have no antitumor activity. The percentage and absolute number of Ia-positive peritoneal macrophages were maximum on the 7th day after the injection of LC 9018. Immunization by injection of Meth A fibrosarcoma cells treated with mitomycin C (MMC-Meth A) 7 days after LC 9018 injection suppressed the growth of Meth A implanted i.p. 14 days after MMC-Meth A injection. A shorter interval between the injections of LC 9018 and MMC-Meth A did not allow suppression of Meth A growth. These results showed that the increase in Ia-positive macrophages in the peritoneal cavity coincided with the effective interval for induction of the antitumor activity by LC 9018. The antitumor activity induced by injections of LC 9018 and MMC-Meth A did not affect the growth of RL l leukemic cells, syngeneic to BALB/c mice. Neutralization (Winn type) tests showed that peritoneal T lymphocytes possessed tumor cytotoxicity and that the antitumor capacity was reduced by in vivo treatment with anti I-Ad monoclonal antibody simultaneously with and 1 day prior to MMC-Meth A injection. These results indicate that LC 9018-induced Ia-positive macrophages, which first encounter a tumor antigen in the peritoneal cavity, play an important role in the in vivo induction of tumor specific T cell-mediated antitumor immunity.  相似文献

The intraplantar injection of PAF-acether (PAF), induced acute oedema in the rat paw, and desensitized it to subsequent challenges with the same agonist, but not to serotonin. The desensitization was maximal (up to 80% of initial response) after seven consecutive daily injections. In this condition, PAF-induced oedema of the contralateral paw was maintained. The analogue 2-methyl carbamate-PAF (2MC-PAF) was more effective than PAF as a desensitizing agent. Furthermore, the PAF-desensitized paw was refractory to challenges with 2-MC and vice-versa. PAF-acether, but not serotonin-induced rat paw oedema was inhibited by previous intravenous injection of PAF. Intravenous injections of serotonin were also effective in inhibiting selectively serotonin-induced paw oedema, but it was not possible to induce desensitization by repeated intraplantar injections of serotonin. Desensitization to PAF or the pre-treatment with the PAF antagonist BN 52021 did not block the edematogenic response induced by carrageenan.  相似文献

Glycosaminoglycans synthesized in polymorphonuclear (PMN) leucocytes isolated from blood (peripheral PMN leucocytes) and in those induced intraperitoneally by the injection of caseinate (peritoneal PMN leucocytes) were compared. Both peripheral and peritoneal PMN leucocytes were incubated in medium containing [35S]sulphate and [3H]glucosamine. Each sample obtained after incubation was separated into cell, cell-surface and medium fractions by trypsin digestion and centrifugation. The glycosaminoglycans secreted from peripheral and peritoneal PMN leucocytes were decreased in size by alkali treatment, indicating that they existed in the form of proteoglycans. Descending paper chromatography of the unsaturated disaccharides obtained by the digestion of glycosaminoglycans with chondroitinase AC and chondroitinase ABC identified the labelled glycosaminoglycans of both the cell and the medium fractions in peripheral PMN leucocytes as 55-58% chondroitin 4-sulphate, 16-19% chondroitin 6-sulphate, 16-19% dermatan sulphate and 6-8% heparan sulphate. Oversulphated chondroitin sulphate and oversulphated dermatan sulphate were found only in the medium fraction. In peritoneal PMN leucocytes there is a difference in the composition of glycosaminoglycans between the cell and the medium fractions; the cell fraction was composed of 60% chondroitin 4-sulphate, 5.5% chondroitin 6-sulphate, 16.8% dermatan sulphate and 13.9% heparan sulphate, whereas the medium fraction consisted of 24.5% chondroitin 4-sulphate, 28.2% chondroitin 6-sulphate, 33.7% dermatan sulphate and 10% heparan sulphate. Oversulphated chondroitin sulphate and oversulphated dermatan sulphate were found in the cell, cell-surface and medium fractions. On the basis of enzymic assays with chondro-4-sulphatase and chondro-6-sulphatase, the positions of sulphation in the disulphated disaccharides were identified as 4- and 6-positions of N-acetylgalactosamine. Most of the 35S-labelled glycosaminoglycans synthesized in peripheral PMN leucocytes were retained within cells, whereas those in peritoneal PMN leucocytes were secreted into the culture medium. Moreover, the amount of glycosaminoglycans in peritoneal PMN leucocytes was significantly less than that in peripheral PMN leucocytes. Assay of lysosomal enzymes showed that these activities in peritoneal PMN leucocytes were 2-fold higher than those in peripheral PMN leucocytes.  相似文献

When rabbits are exposed to x-radiation as described, there results a definite change in the See PDF for Equation ratio of their plasma. This change is evidently one which defines a state of uncompensated alkali excess. The time required for a maximum change in the chemical reaction is the same as that required for a maximum change in the decrease of leucocytes. Sodium bicarbonate injected into the peritoneal cavity is followed by results identical with those observed following exposure to x-rays. The maximum changes occur in a shorter time following bicarbonate injection, but the relation between chemical and morphological changes are the same. We consider this analogy to be an important one in that it is suggestive of a relationship between the effect of salt and the effect of x-rays.  相似文献

There is a marked increase in the number of peritoneal leukocytes (lymphocytes, monocytes and granulocytes) during the growth of Ehrlich ascites tumor in mice. No local proliferation (as indicated by a labeling at 1 hr following a single 3H-TdR injection) was observed in the normal peritoneal leukocytes or those in the ascites tumor, except for a very minor labeling of some tumor macrophages. Kinetics of peritoneal leukocytes was studied with a series of twelve injections of 3H-thymidine (20 μCi every 8 hr) in normal mice as well as mice injected with 106 tumor cells i.p. 2 hr after the last 3H-TdR injection. Animals were sacrificed at intervals up to 6 days. Granulocyte labeling in the blood as well as peritoneal space was near 100% in both groups of animals at all the intervals. Temporal changes in the labeling of lymphocytes (from 10% at 0 day to 22% at day 6), and monocytes (from 20% at 0 day to 57% at day 6) were identical in the blood and peritoneal space of normal animals, indicating a free exchange of cells between these compartments. Higher labeling indices than those in the controls were attained in the blood of tumor-bearing hosts (viz 40% for lymphocytes and 80% for monocytes at 6 days) suggesting an increased turnover of these cells in the circulation. In addition, peritoneal mononuclear cells of tumor-bearing mice showed even a higher labeling than those in the blood (viz 65% for lymphocytes and 92% for monocytes at 6 days) indicating a selective migration and/or retention of newly formed cells within the tumor, in contrast to a random migration into the normal peritoneal cavity. Furthermore, an identical labeling of macrophages to that of monocytes within the tumor indicated a short monocyte-macrophage transition. The preferential accumulation of young mononuclear cells into the tumor may be of functional importance.  相似文献
