The antigenic properties of S-100 beta-positive human T-lymphocytes (S-100 beta+ T-cells) were investigated by a double immunostaining technique employing an indirect immunoperoxidase method for cytoplasmic S-100 beta subunit and an immunoalkaline phosphatase method for cell surface antigens detected by various monoclonal antibodies to human lymphocytes. S-100 beta+ T-cells recognized by their diffuse intracytoplasmic immunoperoxidase reaction, also expressed CD2, CD3, CD8 antigens demonstrated by surface blue alkaline phosphatase reactivity, but not CD4, CD1, CD25 (interleukin-2 receptor), or HLA-DR antigens. However, they displayed a blastic change to T-cell mitogens, such as Concanavalin A(Con-A) and PHA, followed by the expression of CD25 and HLA-DR antigens. Under normal conditions, S-100 beta+ T-cells comprised approximately 5-22.8% of CD8+ cells amongst human peripheral blood mononuclear cells.  相似文献

Tumor growth is allowed by its ability to escape immune system surveillance. An important role in determining tumor evasion from immune control might be played by tumor-infiltrating regulatory lymphocytes. This study was aimed at characterizing phenotype and function of CD8+ CD28- T regulatory cells infiltrating human cancer. Lymphocytes infiltrating primitive tumor lesion and/or satellite lymph node from a series of 42 human cancers were phenotypically studied and functionally analyzed by suppressor assays. The unprecedented observation was made that CD8+ CD28- T regulatory lymphocytes are almost constantly present and functional in human tumors, being able to inhibit both T cell proliferation and cytotoxicity. CD4+ CD25+ T regulatory lymphocytes associate with CD8+ CD28- T regulatory cells so that the immunosuppressive activity of tumor-infiltrating regulatory T cell subsets, altogether considered, may become predominant. The infiltration of regulatory T cells seems tumor related, being present in metastatic but not in metastasis-free satellite lymph nodes; it likely depends on both in situ generation (via cytokine production) and recruitment from the periphery (via chemokine secretion). Collectively, these results have pathogenic relevance and implication for immunotherapy of cancer.  相似文献

CD8(+) T-cells secrete soluble factor(s) capable of inhibiting both R5- and X4-tropic strains of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1). CCR5 chemokine ligands, released from activated CD8(+) T-cells, contribute to the antiviral activity of these cells. These CC-chemokines, however, do not account for all CD8(+) T-cell antiviral factor(s) (CAF) released from these cells, particularly because the elusive CAF can inhibit the replication of X4 HIV-1 strains that use CXCR4 and not CCR5 as a coreceptor. Here we demonstrate that activated CD8(+) T-cells of HIV-1-seropositive individuals modify serum bovine antithrombin III into an HIV-1 inhibitory factor capable of suppressing the replication of X4 HIV-1. These data indicate that antithrombin III may play a role in the progression of HIV-1 disease.  相似文献

CD8(+) T-cells are a major source for the production of non-cytolytic factors that inhibit HIV-1 replication. In order to characterize further these factors, we analyzed gene expression profiles of activated CD8(+) T-cells using a human cDNA expression array containing 588 human cDNAs. mRNA for the chemokine I-309 (CCL1), the cytokines granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor and interleukin-13, and natural killer cell enhancing factors (NKEF) -A and -B were up-regulated in bulk CD8(+) T-cells from HIV-1 seropositive individuals compared with seronegative individuals. Recombinant NKEF-A and NKEF-B inhibited HIV-1 replication when exogenously added to acutely infected T-cells at an ID(50) (dose inhibiting HIV-1 replication by 50%) of approximately 130 nm (3 microg/ml). Additionally, inhibition against dual-tropic simian immunodeficiency virus and dual-tropic simian-human immunodeficiency virus was found. T-cells transfected with NKEF-A or NKEF-B cDNA were able to inhibit 80-98% HIV-1 replication in vitro. Elevated plasma levels of both NKEF-A and NKEF-B proteins were detected in 23% of HIV-infected non-treated individuals but not in persons treated with highly active antiviral therapy or uninfected persons. These results indicate that the peroxiredoxin family members NKEF-A and NKEF-B are up-regulated in activated CD8(+) T-cells in HIV infection, and suggest that these antioxidant proteins contribute to the antiviral activity of CD8(+) T-cells.  相似文献

Though the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) subunits alpha9 and alpha 10 have been thoroughly characterized within hair cells of the organ of Corti in the inner ear, prior studies have shown that they are also expressed in lymphocytes. In this report, we sought to more definitively characterize the nAChR subunits alpha9 and alpha10 within various populations of human lymphocytes. Using a combination of techniques, including RT-PCR, single-cell RT-PCR, Northern and western blot analysis, and immunofluorescence, expression of both alpha9 and alpha 10 was demonstrated in purified populations of T-cells (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ and the Jurkat, MT2 and CEM T-cell lines) and B-cells (CD19+, CD80+ and EBV-immortalized B-cells). Single-lymphocyte recording techniques failed to identify an ionic current in response to applied acetylcholine in either T-cells or B-cells. These results clearly demonstrate the presence of these nicotinic receptor subunits within several populations of human lymphocytes, implicating their role in the immune response. However, a lack of demonstrated response to applied acetylcholine using standard single-cell recording techniques suggests a physiology different than that seen in hair cells of the inner ear.  相似文献

Background Non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) patients have impaired cellular immune responses. It has been hypothesized that tumor cells expressing Fas Ligand (FasL) induce in T lymphocytes: (a) apoptosis (tumor counterattack) and (b) down-regulation of CD3ζ expression. However, the hypothesis of tumor counterattack is still controversial. Methods We analyzed FasL expression on NSCLC cell lines and on tumor cells from lung adenocarcinoma patients by flow cytometry and immunocytochemistry. FasL mRNA expression was detected in NSCLC cell lines using RT-PCR, and functional FasL was evaluated on Fas-expressing Jurkat T-cells by annexin-V-FITC staining and by SubG1 peak detection. Also, the proapoptotic effect of microvesicles released from NSCLC cell lines in Jurkat T-cells was studied. Alterations in the expression levels of CD3ζ, CD3ε, and CD28 [measured as mean fluorescence intensity (MFI)] were determined in Jurkat T-cells after co-culture with NSCLC cell lines or tumor-derived microvesicles. Furthermore, the expression levels of CD3ζ and CD3ε in CD4+T and CD8+T lymphocytes from lung adenocarcinoma patients was studied. Results Our results indicate that NSCLC cells neither FasL expressed nor induced apoptosis in Jurkat T-cells. Tumor-derived microvesicles did not induce apoptosis in Jurkat T-cells. In contrast, NSCLC cell lines down-regulated CD3ε but not CD3ζ chain expression in Jurkat T-cells; this effect was induced by soluble factors but not by microvesicles. In lung adenocarcinoma patients, significant decreases of MFI values for CD3ε, but not CD3ζ, were found in CD4+T and CD8+T cells from pleural effusion compared to peripheral blood and in peripheral blood of patients compared to healthy donors. Conclusions Our data do not support the tumor counterattack hypothesis for NSCLC. Nonetheless, down-regulation of CD3ε in T-cells induced by NSCLC cells might lead to T-cell dysfunction.  相似文献

The effects of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) on the immune response in patients with cutaneous leishmaniasis have not yet been fully delineated. This study quantified and evaluated the function of memory T-cell subsets in response to soluble Leishmania antigens (SLA) from patients coinfected with HIV and Leishmania with tegumentary leishmaniasis (TL). Eight TL/HIV coinfected subjects and 10 HIV seronegative subjects with TL were evaluated. The proliferative response of CD4+and CD8+T-cells and naïve, central memory (CM) and effector memory (EM) CD4+T-cells in response to SLA were quantified using flow cytometry. The median cell division indices for CD4+and CD8+T-cells of coinfected patients in response to SLA were significantly lower than those in patients with Leishmania monoinfection (p < 0.05). The proportions of CM and EM CD4+T-cells in response to SLA were similar between the coinfected patients and patients with Leishmania monoinfection. However, the median CM and EM CD4+T-cell counts from coinfected patients were significantly lower (p < 0.05). The reduction in the lymphoproliferative response to Leishmania antigens coincides with the decrease in the absolute numbers of both EM and CM CD4+T-cells in response to Leishmania antigens in patients coinfected with HIV/Leishmania.  相似文献

Cell mediated immune responses (CMIR) to Rhinosporidium seeberi in human patients with rhinosporidiosis have been studied. With immuno-histochemistry, the cell infiltration patterns in rhinosporidial tissues from 7 patients were similar. The mixed cell infiltrate consisted of many plasma cells, fewer CD68+ macrophages,a population of CD3+ T lymphocytes, and CD56/57+ NK lymphocytes which were positive for CD3 as well. CD4+ T helper cells were scarce. CD8+suppressor/cytotoxic-cytolytic cells were numerous. Most of the CD8+ cells were TIA-l+ and therefore of the cytotoxic subtype. CD8+ T cells were not sub-typed according to their cytokine profile; 1L2, IFN-γ (Tcl); IL4, ILS (Tc2).In lympho-proliferative response (LPR) assays in vitro, lymphocytes from rhinosporidial patients showed stimulatory responses to Con A but lymphocytes from some patients showed significantly diminished responses to rhinosporidial extracts as compared with unstimulated cells or cells stimulated by Con A, indicating suppressor immune responses in rhinosporidiosis. The overall stimulatory responses with Con A suggested that the rhinosporidial lymphocytes were not non-specifically anergic although comparisons of depressed LPR of rhinosporidial lymphocytes from individual patients, to rhinosporidial antigen with those to Con A, did not reveal a clear indication as to whether the depression was antigen specific or non-specific. The intensity of depression of the LPR in rhinosporidial patients bore no relation to the site, duration, or the number of lesions or whether the disease was localized or disseminated. Rhinosporidial extracts showed stimulatory activity on normal control lymphocytes, perhaps indicating mitogenic activity. These results indicate that CMIR develops in human rhinosporidiosis, while suppressed responses are also induced. Interleukin (IL)-1 plays a key role in carcinogenesis, tumor progression, and metastasis. Although IL-1 may enhance the expansion of CD8+ T-cells, the pathological contribution of IL-1-activated CD8+ T-cells to tumor metastasis remains unclear. This study used a liver metastasis model of the EL4 T-cell lymphoma cells transplanted into human IL (hIL)-1α conditional transgenic (hIL-1α cTg) mice. Overproduction of hIL-1α suppressed both macroscopic and histological liver metastasis of EL4 T-cell lymphoma. The hIL-1α-induced inflammatory state increased the number of CD8+ T-cells both within and around metastatic tumors. Moreover, larger numbers of CD8+ T-cells showed greater infiltration of liver blood vessels in hIL-1α cTg mice than in control wild-type mice. Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick-end labeling staining of liver tissue from hIL-1α cTg mice indicated increased apoptosis of cells in the tumor. Localization of apoptosis cells resembled that of CD8+ T-cells. In addition, cytotoxicity assay showed that CD8+ T-cell counts from tumor-bearing hIL-1α cTg mice correlated with cytotoxicity against EL4. In summary, IL-1α suppresses lymphoma metastasis, and IL-1α-activated CD8+ T-cells may play important roles in inhibiting both tumor metastasis and metastatic tumor growth:  相似文献

To investigate the mechanism and functional significance of infection of CD8+ lymphocytes by human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) in vivo, we determined frequencies of infection, proviral conformation, and genetic relationships between HIV-1 variants infecting naive (CD45RA+) and memory (CD45RO+) peripheral blood CD4+ and CD8+ lymphocytes. Infection of CD3+ CD8+ CD45RA+ cells was detected in 9 of 16 study subjects at frequencies ranging from 30 to 1,400 proviral copies/10(6) cells, more frequently than CD3+ CD8+ lymphocytes expressing the RO isoform of CD45 (n = 2, 70 and 260 copies /10(6) cells). In agreement with previous studies, there was no evidence for a similar preferential infection of CD4+ naive lymphocytes. Proviral sequences in both CD4+ and CD8+ lymphocyte subsets were complete, as assessed by quantitation using primers from the long terminal repeat region spanning the tRNA primer binding site. In six of the seven study subjects investigated, variants infecting CD8+ lymphocytes were partially or completely genetically distinct in the V3 region from those recovered from CD4+ lymphocytes and showed a greater degree of compartmentalization than observed between naive and memory subsets of CD4+ lymphocytes. In two study subjects, arginine substitutions at position 306, associated with use of the chemokine coreceptor CXCR4, were preferentially found in CD4 lymphocytes. These population differences may have originated through different times of infection rather than necessarily indicating a difference in their biological properties. The preferential distribution of HIV-1 in naive CD8+ lymphocytes indeed suggests that infection occurred early in T-lymphocyte ontogeny, such as during maturation in the thymus. Destruction of cells destined to become CD8+ lymphocytes may be a major factor in the decline in CD8+ lymphocyte frequencies and function on disease progression and may contribute directly to the observed immunodeficiency in AIDS.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to characterize the differential sensitivities of various subpopulations of human white blood cells after exposure to H2O2 (an oxidant agent) and bleomycin (a radiomimetic glycopeptide), in vitro, using single-cell gel electrophoresis (SCGE). Human peripheral blood was fractionated into mononuclear cells, which were further separated into monocytes, CD4+ T-cells, CD8+ T-cells, B-cells and natural killer cells (NK cells). The separated fractions were exposed to different doses of H2O2 and bleomycin, and then used to measure levels of induced and basal DNA damage. There was a significant increase in the amount of DNA damage in CD4+ T-cells, CD8+ T-cells, NK cells and B-cells when treated with H2O2 and bleomycin, whereas monocytes had the lowest sensitivity to H2O2 compared with the other cell fractions, but no lower sensitivity to bleomycin. Furthermore, CD4+ T-cells and CD8+ T-cells had the highest levels of basal DNA damage. When basal DNA damage was taken into account, NK cells tended to show a higher sensitivity to H2O2 than CD4+ T-cells, CD8+ T-cells and monocytes. In addition, B-cells, which showed lower sensitivity to H2O2 than CD4+ T-cells, CD8+ T-cells and NK cells when exposed to lower doses of H2O2 (<10 microM), showed higher sensitivity to H2O2 at higher doses (>20 microM). On the other hand, B-cells showed the highest sensitivity to bleomycin.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to characterize the apoptotic response of various subpopulations of human white blood cells after in vitro exposure to ionizing radiation using the modified neutral comet assay (MNCA). White blood cells, isolated from human whole blood, were fractionated into granulocytes and mononuclear cells which were further separated into B-cells, natural killer (NK) cells, and CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells. The separated fractions were exposed to low doses of X-rays and then MNCA was used to measure the apoptotic fraction (AF) at different time points in irradiated and unirradiated aliquots of sorted cultures. The spontaneous AF in unirradiated control cells was the most critical determinant of whether an apoptotic response could be detected in irradiated cells. When cultured in isolation granulocytes and B-cells had the highest background AF, with NK cells having the next highest. CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells had a low, stable, spontaneous AF which gave them the highest signal-to-noise ratio. Although B-cells demonstrated the highest radiation-induced apoptotic response to 1 Gy of X-rays, CD8+ T-cells were the most radiation-responsive lymphocytes due to their low spontaneous AF. By generating dose response curves for CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells, the sensitivity of the MNCA for detecting apoptosis in these two cell types was also examined.  相似文献

In vitro cultures of human peripheral blood lymphocytes, both unstimulated G0 cells as well as phytohemagglutinin (PHA) stimulated cells, have been used in the investigation of DNA repair following different types of damage, including that induced by ultraviolet light, ionizing radiation, and chemical agents. We report here repair of DNA damage in cultured normal human T-lymphocytes after treatment with the alkylating agents, N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) or methanesulfonate (MMS), as measured by the alkaline elution technique. T-lymphocytes cultured with different sources of T-cell growth factors (TCGFs) were shown to have similar repair levels, as measured by loss of single-strand breaks. However, diminished repair was observed with in vitro culture age when T-cells were cultured with PHA and TCGF for a 3-week period. Cell-cycle analysis performed on asynchronously growing cultures indicated that differential repair with in vitro aging was not cell-cycle-related. Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) was used to determine the percentages of CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell subsets present during the in vitro culture periods. Cultures consisted primarily of CD4+ cells until day 20 when the percentage of CD8+ cells increased to approximately 50% of the T-cell population. Neither the absolute percentages of CD4+ and CD8+ cells not the CD4+/CD8+ ratios correlated with repair rates of cultured T-cells. Therefore, the observed decreases in the repair of alkylating agent-induced damage are not due solely to the change in the CD4+/CD8+ ratio.  相似文献

Although primarily a neurological complaint, systemic inflammation is present in Alzheimer''s Disease, with higher than normal levels of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines in the periphery as well as the brain. A gradient of these factors may enhance recruitment of activated immune cells into the brain via chemotaxis. Here, we investigated the phenotypes of circulating immune cells in AD patients with multi-colour flow cytometry to determine whether their expression of chemokine receptors is consistent with this hypothesis. In this study, we confirmed our previously reported data on the shift of early- to late-differentiated CD4+ T-cells in AD patients. The percentage of cells expressing CD25, a marker of acute T-cell activation, was higher in patients than in age-matched controls, and percentages of CCR6+ cells were elevated. This chemokine receptor is primarily expressed on pro-inflammatory memory cells and Th17 cells. The proportion of cells expressing CCR4 (expressed on Th2 cells) and CCR5 (Th1 cells and dendritic cells) was also greater in patients, and was more pronounced on CD4+ than CD8+ T-cells. These findings allow a more detailed insight into the systemic immune status of patients with Alzheimer''s disease and suggest possible novel targets for immune therapy.  相似文献

The CC chemokine ligand (CCL)16 exerts chemotactic activity on human monocytes and lymphocytes. Although no murine homologous has been defined, the TSA mouse adenocarcinoma cells engineered to express human CCL16 are rapidly rejected by syngenic mice. An adenovirus encoding CCL16 (AdCCL16) was generated using a Cre-Lox-based system and was used to determine whether this chemokine might also block pre-existing tumors. Both recombinant and viral CCL16 showed in vitro chemotactic activity for murine CD4(+) and CD8(+) lymphocytes and dendritic cells (DC). AdCCL16, but not the control empty vector, when injected in established nodules significantly delayed tumor growth. Immunohistochemistry revealed accumulation of CD4(+) and CD8(+) T cells and DC in the treated tumors as well as in draining lymph nodes. DC from such lymph nodes stimulated IFN-gamma by a T cell clone specific for the known TSA tumor-associated Ag (TAA), suggesting the tumor origin of these cells. Lymphocytes from the same nodes showed specific CTL activity against TSA tumor cells and their immunodominant TAA peptide. Antitumor activity required CD4, CD8, and IFN-gamma production, as shown using subset-depleted and knockout mice. Despite the robust and rapid immune response triggered by intratumoral injection of AdCCL16, the lesions were not completely rejected; however, the same treatment given before surgical excision of primary lesions prevented metastatic spread and cured 63% of mice bearing the 4T1 mammary adenocarcinoma, which is perhaps the most compelling model of spontaneous metastasis.  相似文献

Intravenously-applied bacteria tend to accumulate in tumors and can sporadically lead to tumor regression. Systemic administration of attenuated Salmonella typhimurium is safe and has shown no significant adverse effects in humans. The purpose of this study was to test the hypothesis that engineering S. typhimurium to express a chemokine, CCL21, would increase anti-tumor activity. We engineered an attenuated strain of S. typhimurium to produce the chemokine CCL21. Attenuated S. typhimurium expressing CCL21 significantly inhibited the growth of primary tumors and pulmonary metastases in preclinical models of multi-drug-resistant murine carcinomas, while control bacteria did not. Histological analysis of tumors showed marked inflammatory cell infiltrates in mice treated with CCL21-expressing but not control bacteria. Levels of cytokines and chemokines known to be induced by CCL21 [e.g., interferon-γ (INFγ), CXCL9, and CXCL10] were significantly elevated in tumors of mice treated with CCL21-expressing but not control S. typhimurium. The anti-tumor activity was found to be dependent on CD4- and CD8-expressing cells, based on antibody-mediated in vivo immuno-depletion experiments. Anti-tumor activity was achieved without evidence of toxicity. In summary, chemokine-expressing, attenuated bacteria may provide a novel approach to cancer immunotherapy for effective and well-tolerated in vivo delivery of immunomodulatory proteins. Recent thymic emigrants (RTE) are an important subpopulation of naive CD8+ T cells because of their ability to reconstitute a diverse immune system after periods of T cell depletion. In neonatal mice, the majority of peripheral T lymphocytes are RTE, cells that have recently left the thymus to populate the periphery. Postulating that these cells could have unique trafficking mechanisms, we compared adhesion molecule and chemokine receptor expression of neonatal RTE with mature adult lymphocytes. Neonatal CD8+ splenocytes uniformly express alpha(E) integrin and exhibit a high responsiveness to CC chemokine ligand (CCL25) (as compared with adult CD8+ splenocytes). Mature CD8+ thymocytes have a similar alpha(E) integrin(+) CCL25 responsive phenotype, as do adult CD8+ RTE identified by intrathymic FITC injection. With increasing age, the frequency of CD8+ alpha(E) integrin(+) splenocytes decreases, roughly correlating with thymic involution. Moreover, halting thymic output by thymectomy accelerates the age-dependent decline in peripheral CD8+ alpha(E) integrin(+) RTE phenotype cells. Low expression of CD44 distinguishes these CD8+ RTE from a population of memory phenotype alpha(E) integrin(+) CD8+ cells that are CD44(high). We conclude that CD8+ RTE have unique adhesive and chemotactic properties that distinguish them from naive CD8+ T cells. These properties may enable specialized microenvironmental and cell-cell interactions contributing to the fate of RTE in the periphery during the early post-thymic period. This phenotype will also facilitate the identification and isolation of RTE for further studies.  相似文献

With the advent of checkpoint inhibitors, there is increasing need to study the dynamics of CD8+ T-cells in the tumor microenviroment. In this article, we describe a semi-automated method to quantify and interrogate spatial relationships between T-cells and collagenous stroma in human and mouse tissue samples. The assay combines CD8 immunohistochemistry with modified Masson’s trichrome. Slides are scanned and digital images are analyzed using an adjustable MATLAB algorithm, allowing for high-throughput quantification of cytotoxic T-cells and collagen. This method provides a flexible tool for unbiased quantification of T-cells and their interactions with tumor cells and tumor microenvironment in tissue samples.  相似文献

The human T-cell Rearranging Gamma genes or T-cell Receptor Gamma (TRG) chain genes, like those encoding the T-cell Receptor (TcR) alpha and beta polypeptides, undergo rearrangements specifically in T-cells. The human TRG locus which has been mapped to chromosome 7 (7p15) is composed of 2 constant region genes (TRGC), 5 joining segments (TRGJ) and at least 14 variable gamma genes (TRGV). 8 variable genes are functional and belong to 4 different subgroups. Based on restriction fragments, the TRG rearrangements can be assigned to given V and J segments, in normal T-cells, T leukemias and lymphomas. The product of the rearranged TRG gene is the gamma chain which is expressed at the surface of a subset of CD3+4-8- T lymphocytes lacking the conventional receptor alpha beta. Structural differences exist between the different 'gamma T-cell receptors', the gamma and delta polypeptides being disulfide or non-disulfide linked. Although the TRG+ cells display a cytolytic activity, their precise function remains to be elucidated.  相似文献

In this study we have investigated the expression of proteoglycans in B-cells, CD4+ T-cells, CD8+ T-cells, natural killer cells, as well as in nine different cell lines established from patients with lymphoid malignancies. Serglycin was the major proteoglycan expressed at mRNA level by the primary lymphocytes. None of the syndecans or glycpicans was detected at mRNA level in the primary lymphocytes, except for syndecan-4 in CD4+ T-cells and CD8+ T-cells. All lymphoid cell lines expressed serglycin mRNA, as well as one or several members of the syndecan and glypican families. Further, increased synthesis of proteoglycans was found in the cell lines compared to the primary lymphocytes, as well as the presence of heparan sulfate on the cell surface of five of the cells lines. Western blot analysis showed a close correlation between serglycin mRNA level and expression of serglycin core protein. Our results show that serglycin is a major proteoglycan in all the normal lymphoid cells and that these cells carry little, or none, proteoglycans on the cell surface. Serglycin was also a major proteoglycan in the malignant lymphoid cells, but these also expressed one or more types of cell surface proteoglycans. Thus, malignant transformation of lymphoid cells may be followed by increased synthesis of proteoglycans and expression of cell surface proteoglycans.  相似文献
